Passions Die in the Divine Will
The anti-passion doctrine that passions lose life spontaneously in the environment of the divine will without direct combat, because the divine will’s sanctity is an environment in which the corrupted nature cannot persist: “before the Sanctity of my Will, passions do not dare to come forward, and lose life by themselves” — replacing the traditional method of combating individual passions with continuous dwelling in the will.
