12-1919-01-29 Biblical Resonance Analysis
Volume 12 — January 29, 1919 “God will accomplish the third renewal of humanity by manifesting what His Divinity did within His Humanity.”
STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION
The Creed as Reparatory Act in the Divine Will
“I entered your Volition, and with this Creed I intend to redo and repair all the acts of faith which the creatures have not done, all the disbeliefs, and the lacks of adoration which is due to God as Creator…”
Hebrews 10:5–7 — “Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me. You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’” The foundational text for the reparatory act in the DW: Christ’s coming was itself the act of doing and re-doing what creatures failed to do, replacing their deficient worship with a perfect one. Luisa’s recitation of the Creed within the DW follows the same structural logic — entering the Divine Will to redo the acts that were not done and to repair the ones done badly. Direct doctrinal parallel
Romans 5:18–19 — “So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life. For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.” The reparatory economy at the structural level: the one person’s act in the DW redresses what the many did not do or did badly. The Creed-repair is the Luisian form of this Pauline one-for-all substitution operating in the present tense. Direct doctrinal parallel
The Three Renewals of Humanity
“Every two thousand years I have renewed the world. In the first two thousand years I renewed it with the Deluge; in the second two thousand I renewed it with my coming upon earth when I manifested my Humanity, from which, as if from many fissures, my Divinity shone forth… Now we are around the third two thousand years, and there will be a third renewal.”
Genesis 6:5–8, 17 — “The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth… And God said to Noah, ‘I have determined to make an end of all flesh… everything that is on the earth shall die.‘” The first renewal’s mechanism and warrant: the Flood as divine judgment purging the creation and enabling a new beginning. The entry names this as the structural first act of a three-act economy of providential renewal. Direct doctrinal parallel
John 1:14 — “The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The second renewal’s definitive event: the Incarnation as the moment when the Divinity “shone forth from many fissures” through the Humanity. The fissure-image is the inverse of 1 John 1:5’s unapproachable light — partial revelations of the Divinity through the Humanity’s actions and words, glimpsed rather than fully manifest. Christological/Trinitarian
Acts 3:21 — “whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.” The third renewal as eschatological restoration of all things: the period awaited by the prophets, now being prepared through the purging that precedes it. The “general confusion” as the preparatory tribulation before this restoration. Typological
Isaiah 65:17 — “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind.” The new-creation vocabulary as the scriptural image for the third renewal’s depth: not a surface renovation but a structural re-creation, the “former things” belonging to the second-renewal era. Typological
Ephesians 1:10 — “to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.” The third renewal as the completion of the plan of recapitulation: the fullness of time arrives when all things are gathered into Christ, and the DW apostolate is the mechanism by which the interior Divinity is finally disclosed and communicated. Christological/Trinitarian
Habakkuk 2:3 — “For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” The prophetic patience required for the third renewal: the vision has an appointed time, and the present confusion is the labor before the appointed moment. Typological
The Interior Divinity: What Was Hidden in the Humanity
“If in the second renewal I manifested what my Humanity did and suffered, and very little of what my Divinity was operating, now, in this third renewal… I will accomplish the renewal by manifesting what my Divinity did within my Humanity; how my Divine Will acted with my human will; how everything remained linked within Me; how I did and redid everything.”
John 14:10 — “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.” The interior Divine operation within the Humanity: Christ’s words and works are simultaneously the Humanity’s and the Divinity’s, but only the exterior form was visible in the Incarnation. “Very little of what my Divinity was operating” — this is the Johannine mystery John 14:10 articulates but does not fully disclose. The third renewal is the full disclosure of what this verse points toward but does not unfold. Christological/Trinitarian
John 5:19 — “Jesus therefore answered them, “Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.” The mutual-operation economy: the Divine Will acting in and through the human will is the interior reality of which the Son’s acts are the exterior expression. The third renewal will make this interior economy — “how my Divine Will acted with my human will” — accessible to creatures directly. Christological/Trinitarian
Colossians 2:9 — “For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,” The Divinity’s complete indwelling of the Humanity as the structural premise: the interior operation of the Divinity (what the third renewal will disclose) is what the full dwelling of deity in the body entailed at every moment of Christ’s earthly life. Direct doctrinal parallel
1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — “But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.” But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” The progression from hiddenness to disclosure: “what no eye has seen” corresponds to the interior Divinity’s operation which the second renewal did not manifest; “God has revealed to us through the Spirit” points forward to the third renewal’s unveiling. Direct doctrinal parallel
John 1:18 — “No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.” The progressive revelation structure: the second renewal made the Father known through the Son’s external works; the third renewal will manifest the interior mode of that knowledge — what the Son’s being “at the Father’s side” meant from within. Christological/Trinitarian
The First Link, Suspended Acts, and Luisa as Second Link
“The first link which connected the true living in my Will was my Humanity. My Humanity, identified with my Divinity, swam in the Eternal Volition, and kept tracing all the acts of creatures in order to make them Its own… these acts which were not done, except by Me alone, are all suspended in my Will, and I await the creatures to come to live in my Volition, and repeat in my Will that which I did.”
Psalm 40:6–8 — “Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering. Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll. I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.” The first link’s governing OT text: the Humanity coming to do the Will is the act by which all the creatures’ unperformed acts are recovered. “Kept tracing all the acts of creatures in order to make them Its own” is this Psalm’s movement extended to the full scope of creation. Typological
Hebrews 7:25 — “Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.” The suspension of the acts in the Divine Will awaiting the creatures: Christ’s perpetual intercession in the heavenly sanctuary corresponds to the “suspended acts” awaiting their repetition. The ECA-1 economy — the eternal creative act holding all things in reserve — is precisely the condition these suspended acts inhabit. Direct doctrinal parallel
Revelation 5:1–5 (translation pending) — “And I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it… And the Lion of the tribe of Judah… has conquered, so that he can open the scroll.” The sealed-scroll economy as a structural image for the suspended acts: the acts that have not been done by creatures are closed within the Divine Will, awaiting the one who can open them. The third renewal is the opening of what was sealed. Typological
Romans 8:19 — “For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” The eschatological waiting registered at the cosmic level: creation’s groaning corresponds to the Lord’s yearning — “I yearn very much for this time” — and both are directed toward the same disclosure. The DW souls who will come to repeat the suspended acts are the “sons of God” for whose revealing creation waits. Direct doctrinal parallel
“This is why I chose you as the second link of connection with my Humanity, a link which becomes one with mine, as you live in my Volition and repeat my own acts.”
John 15:16 — “You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” The election to office — not self-selection but divine appointment to a specific and permanent function. “I chose you as the second link” follows this exact grammar of unilateral appointment to bearing fruit that lasts. Direct doctrinal parallel
Ephesians 1:4–5 — “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love, having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,” The eternal dimension of the election: Luisa’s appointment as second link is not historically reactive but eternally foreordained, which is the ground of Hogan’s citing Jeremiah 1:5. Direct doctrinal parallel
The Protest and the Election of the Weak
“My daughter, first I had to make known what my Humanity did and suffered externally, to be able to dispose souls to knowing what my Divinity did inside… Is it perhaps not my usual way to elect from the dust and form great portents, portents of grace?”
Psalm 113:7 — “He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,” The governing OT statement of divine election-from-below: the one raised from the dust to sit among princes is the Luisian type. The second link is chosen from the lowliest precisely to maximize the divine glory in the choice. Direct doctrinal parallel
1 Corinthians 1:26–29 (translation pending) — “For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong… so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.” The comprehensive Pauline principle of election-from-weakness: the choice of the weakest and most useless as the locus of greatest divine power is not accidental but structural — specifically to ensure that the glory is unambiguously God’s. Direct doctrinal parallel
Romans 9:20–21 — “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” Or hasn’t the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?” The potter-and-clay economy: the protest about the unworthiness of the second link is answered by the divine prerogative — the Potter chooses as he wills, and the clay has no standing to question the shaping. Direct doctrinal parallel
2 Corinthians 12:9 — “He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” The operative principle: the weakness of the chosen vessel is the precondition of the power’s perfection. “The weaker and the lower is the subject, the more I am glorified” names the 2 Corinthians 12:9 law in Luisa’s own idiom. Direct doctrinal parallel
Jeremiah 1:5 — “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” The eternal-election-to-prophetic-office as the governing type for Luisa’s appointment: the second link is not a response to contingent merits but a pre-natal, even pre-creaturely designation. Typological
Mary as Single Link; the Cohort of DW Souls
“My mother does not enter the secondary part of my love or of my will; she forms one single link with me… Then, from your link of connection with Me, the links of other souls will be connected, and I will have a cohort of souls who, living in my Volition, will redo all the acts of the creatures.”
Luke 1:28 — “Having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, you highly favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!” The unique pneumatic status that grounds Mary’s single-link identity: “full of grace” and “the Lord is with you” together establish that Mary’s relationship to Christ is not a supplementary office but an intrinsic structural unity from the moment of the Annunciation. Direct doctrinal parallel
Galatians 4:4 — “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,” The Incarnation’s maternal link: the second renewal was constituted through a woman’s fiat, making that fiat a co-constitutive element of the first link’s formation. Mary “forms one single link with Me” because the first link’s Humanity was materially hers. Christological/Trinitarian
Hebrews 12:1 — “Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,” The cohort of DW souls as the operational realization of the cloud of witnesses: where Hebrews 12:1 presents the saints as a surrounding community, the cohort disclosure presents the DW souls as an active functional body re-doing creation’s acts from within the Divine Will. Typological
Romans 5:20 — “The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,” Hogan cites this explicitly for the logic of the DW apostolate’s emergence in the darkest historical moment: the greater the collapse of the second renewal’s era, the more the third renewal’s grace overflows. The most devastating historical moment is precisely the appointed time of maximum grace. Direct doctrinal parallel
The Purpose of Glory and the Love Without Outpouring
“My Love wants to pour Itself out; It wants to make known the excesses which my Divinity operated in my Humanity for the creatures… This is also why I often speak to you about living in my Will, which I have not manifested to anyone until now.”
John 17:26 — “I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.” The ongoing self-disclosure of the Father’s name — love as the name being progressively revealed — as the scriptural form of “My Love wants to pour Itself out.” The third renewal is the completion of what John 17:26’s “I will continue to make it known” promises. Christological/Trinitarian
Ephesians 3:18–19 — “may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” The “excesses which my Divinity operated in my Humanity” = the breadth, length, height, and depth that surpass knowledge; the third renewal is the entry into this surpassing knowledge. Direct doctrinal parallel
Isaiah 55:10–11 — “For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” The Love that cannot remain without outpouring: the divine word/love is structurally ordered toward fruit, and it cannot remain unreturned without violating its own nature. “It would be as if I had shed all my Blood and suffered so much, and nobody had known it” names this structural impossibility. STAGE TWO — COMPARISON WITH HOGAN’S COMMENTARY
CORRESPONDENCES
Both Stage One and Hogan identify:
- Psalm 113:7 (raising from dust) for the election-from-weakness principle
- 1 Corinthians 1:26–29 for the comprehensive election-from-weakness theology
- Romans 9:14–21 for the potter-and-clay prerogative
- 2 Corinthians 12:9 for power perfected in weakness
- Jeremiah 1:5 for eternal election to prophetic office
- Romans 5:20 for the logic of maximum grace at the moment of maximum sin
DEVIATIONS
Hogan’s commentary focuses almost exclusively on the second half of the entry — Luisa’s protest about being the second link — and does not explicitly address the three-renewals revelation of the first half. Stage One’s entire first-half analysis (the three renewals, the interior Divinity, the suspended acts) is therefore largely unconfirmed by Hogan’s commentary in this session. Hogan’s additional citation — Jeremiah 31:3 (“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you”) — frames the eternal election in the covenant-love register rather than the prophetic-office register of Jeremiah 1:5; both are valid angles on the pre-natal election.

ADDITIONS — HERS
- Jeremiah 31:3 — “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you” — the covenant-love form of the eternal election, grounding Luisa’s appointment in the same everlasting love that grounds Israel’s covenant. Hogan uses this alongside Jeremiah 1:5 to establish that the election is both prophetic-office (1:5) and covenant-love (31:3).
- The Mary-as-single-link clarification: Hogan provides the explicit doctrinal resolution that the priests needed — “My mother does not enter the secondary part of my love… she forms one single link with Me” — and identifies this as the co-redemptrix relationship: the redeemer and the co-redeemer forming an undivided first link. This is the entry’s most theologically significant doctrinal clarification and it is Hogan who draws out its full implications.
- The “divine love” distinction: Hogan makes the specific claim that all saints prior to Luisa could give “human love with divine grace” but not “divine love” — and that only living in the DW enables divine love, divine reparation, and divine satisfaction. This qualitative distinction between love-empowered-by-grace and love-that-is-itself-divine is Hogan’s doctrinal contribution, not explicitly stated in the diary text.
VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS
No formal VIP language from Hogan for this entry. The entry is addressed as one of exceptional doctrinal importance (Hogan notes the priests’ questions about the second link), but no “very important message” designation is given.
STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS
The entry operates from within the prophetic and Pauline traditions of historical-eschatological disclosure and election-from-weakness. The three-renewals framework draws on Genesis 6 (the Flood), John 1:14 (the Incarnation), and Ephesians 1:10 / Acts 3:21 (the eschatological recapitulation) as its three structural poles. Hogan’s commentary focuses entirely on the second-link protest and election-from-weakness theology, providing precise Pauline and prophetic citations that Stage One largely anticipated. The most significant combined finding is the doctrinal clarification of Mary’s single-link status: she is not a secondary link but the undivided co-constitutive element of the first link, which makes Luisa’s second-link status not competitive with but structurally dependent on Mary’s. The entry’s deepest theological claim — that the third renewal will manifest the interior operation of the Divinity within the Humanity, completing what the second renewal began — is Stage One’s primary analytical territory and remains largely without Hogan’s commentary for this session.
Cross-Entry Synthesis
Volume 12 — January 29, 1919 “God will accomplish the third renewal of humanity by manifesting what His Divinity did within His Humanity.”
The Reparatory Act in the Divine Will
The entry opens with Luisa’s Creed-recitation offered as a reparatory act within the DW — redoing and repairing all the acts of faith creatures failed to perform. The scriptural structure is Hebrews 10:5–7 and Romans 5:18–19: Christ came precisely to do what creatures should have done but did not, and the one-for-all substitution of his act of righteousness covers the accumulated deficit of all human trespasses. Luisa’s recitation within the DW follows this same grammar — entering the DW to repeat the structural act of divine representation on behalf of creaturely failure. This opening positions the entire entry: the reparatory economy operating through the DW is not novel but the extension and activation of what Christ established as the first link.
The Three Renewals: Historical-Eschatological Framework
The three-renewals disclosure is the entry’s most architecturally original theological contribution and receives no direct commentary from Hogan in this session. Stage One’s analysis stands as the primary biblical mapping of this framework.
The three renewals form a progressive structure: Genesis 6–9 (the Flood as purging-and-new-beginning), John 1:14 (the Incarnation as the disclosure of the Humanity through which the Divinity shone forth “from many fissures”), and the coming third renewal in which the interior Divinity’s operation within the Humanity will be fully manifest. The fissure-image is precise: in the second renewal, the Divinity was glimpsed through the cracks of the Humanity’s external actions — miracles, words, the Passion — but the interior economy (how the Divine Will acted in the human will, how everything remained linked) remained hidden. John 14:10 (“the Father who dwells in me does his works”) and John 5:19 (“the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing”) are the Johannine texts pointing toward this interior economy without unfolding it. The third renewal is the unfolding.
Ephesians 1:10 (the plan of recapitulation in the fullness of time) and Acts 3:21 (the restoration of all things spoken of by the prophets) supply the eschatological frame: the third renewal is not an innovation but the appointed completion of what the second renewal initiated. The “general confusion” — the chastisement-purging “after which a great part of the current generation” will be destroyed (CEA-1 connection) — is identified explicitly as the preparatory movement before this completion, precisely as Habakkuk 2:3 describes: the vision that hastens to its appointed time, with tribulation as its threshold.
1 Corinthians 2:9–10 is the most precise doctrinal anchor for the third renewal’s content: “what no eye has seen… God has revealed to us through the Spirit.” The second renewal disclosed what human eyes could see of the Divinity through the Humanity; the third renewal will disclose what the Spirit now makes accessible — the interior operation that surpasses all prior human seeing and hearing. This is the content of the DW apostolate as a whole: Colossians 2:9’s “whole fullness of deity dwelling bodily” disclosed not at its outer surface but in its interior mechanics.
The Suspended Acts and the First Link
The disclosure of the “suspended acts” is one of the entry’s most theologically significant contributions and the most direct ECA-1 development in the corpus. Christ’s Humanity — “identified with my Divinity, swimming in the Eternal Volition” — traced all the acts of creatures and did the ones not done, redid the ones done badly. These acts are now “all suspended in my Will,” awaiting creatures who will come to live in the DW and repeat them.
This is the ECA-1 principle in its most operationally explicit form: the eternal creative act holding all things — including unperformed and imperfectly performed creaturely acts — in suspension within the Divine Will, ready for their completion through the DW souls who will come. Hebrews 7:25 (Christ always living to intercede) represents the heavenly dimension of this suspension; Revelation 5:1–5 (the sealed scroll awaiting the one who can open it) supplies the structural image of what was sealed and is being opened through the third renewal. Romans 8:19 (creation’s eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God) captures the eschatological yearning directed at precisely these DW souls — the “cohort” whose appearance will release what has been held in suspension.
Psalm 40:6–8 is the first link’s OT governing text: “Behold, I have come to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” The Humanity “swimming in the Eternal Volition and tracing all the acts of creatures” is this Psalm’s movement extended to the full scope of creation, the archetypal act of a will entirely identified with the Father’s, performing on behalf of all what none had performed.
Luisa as Second Link; Mary as Single Link
The second-link clarification generates the entry’s most doctrinally consequential interlocution. Hogan’s commentary is centered here, and its most significant contribution is the Mary-as-single-link resolution: “My mother does not enter the secondary part of my love or of my will; she forms one single link with Me.” This is the doctrinal answer the priests needed. Mary is not the second link; she is the undivided co-constitutive element of the first link — the co-redemptrix, as Hogan explicitly identifies the relationship. Galatians 4:4 (“born of a woman”) and Luke 1:28 (“full of grace, the Lord is with you”) together establish that the first link’s Humanity was materially Mary’s, making her not a separate link in the chain but intrinsic to the first link’s constitution.
Luisa’s appointment as the second link does not compete with or diminish Mary’s primacy; it operates in a different structural register. Mary’s link is with Christ’s Humanity as its maternal source and co-redemptrix partner. Luisa’s link is with that Humanity as the first instance of a soul living in the DW who repeats what Christ did — the first member of the cohort that will follow. The grammar of the election is John 15:16 (“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you”), Ephesians 1:4–5 (chosen before the foundation), and Jeremiah 1:5 (appointed before birth). Hogan adds Jeremiah 31:3 (everlasting love as the motivating ground) to establish that the election is simultaneously prophetic-office and covenant-love.
Both streams converge on the election-from-weakness theology: Psalm 113:7 (raised from dust to sit among princes), 1 Corinthians 1:26–29 (God choosing the foolish to shame the wise), Romans 9:20–21 (the potter’s prerogative), and 2 Corinthians 12:9 (power perfected in weakness). Together these establish the operative principle: the weaker and more useless the instrument, the more unambiguously the glory is God’s. Hogan draws out the explicit consequence: the Lord can work with nothingness and weakness precisely because nothingness contributes nothing to the work — the work is entirely his.
The Cohort, Love’s Outpouring, and the Purpose of the Third Renewal
“From your link of connection with Me, the links of other souls will be connected, and I will have a cohort of souls who, living in my Volition, will redo all the acts of the creatures.” Hebrews 12:1 (the cloud of witnesses as a surrounding active community) is the structural image; but the cohort is more than witnesses — they are active agents redoing creation’s acts divinely. The scope is comprehensive: virgins, priests, laity — all classes of creaturely life — will supply divine-level acts in place of the humanly-done, profaned, or omitted acts of sacramental and ordinary life.
The Love that “wants to pour Itself out” is the LAN-1 outpouring-force register in its eschatological form: the divine love cannot remain without adequate return, and the third renewal is the providential resolution of this structural necessity. John 17:26 (“I will continue to make known your name, that the love may be in them”) is the scriptural form of this ongoing disclosure project; Ephesians 3:18–19 (comprehending the breadth, length, height, and depth that surpasses knowledge) names the content of what will be disclosed. Isaiah 55:10–11 (the word that goes out and does not return empty) supplies the ontological impossibility of Love remaining without outpouring: the divine love is structurally ordered toward fruit, and the absence of fruit from the third renewal’s interior disclosure would violate the love’s own nature.
The entry closes with “I yearn very much for this time… you, pray and yearn for it together with Me.” Romans 5:20 is the hermeneutical key Hogan supplies: “where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.” The darkest historical moment — the post-WWI devastation — is precisely the appointed time of maximum grace. The cohort of DW souls will emerge from the purging as the fruit that the third renewal’s tribulation was ordered toward.
Synthesis
Dominant biblical imagination: Prophetic-eschatological (the appointed time of the vision that hastens: Habakkuk 2:3; Acts 3:21; Isaiah 65:17) combined with Pauline election-from-weakness theology (1 Corinthians 1:26–29; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Romans 9:20–21) and Johannine interior-Divinity disclosure (John 14:10; 5:19; 1:18; 17:26). The entry is the corpus’s most systematic providential-historical statement, mapping the entire arc of divine-human history into three structural acts and naming the present moment as the threshold of the third.
Most load-bearing scriptural traditions:
- John 14:10 / 5:19 / 1:18 / Colossians 2:9 — the interior operation of the Divinity within the Humanity as the specific content of the third renewal’s disclosure
- Hebrews 10:5–7 / Psalm 40:6–8 / Romans 5:18–19 — the first link’s reparatory economy and the structural grammar of the suspended acts
- 1 Corinthians 1:26–29 / 2 Corinthians 12:9 / Romans 9:20–21 — the election-from-weakness theology governing both the choice of Luisa and the entire DW apostolate
Three findings of highest theological significance:
First: The three-renewals framework is the corpus’s most explicit providential-historical structure and the clearest structural anticipation of the TGF-1 doctrinal framework (Three Fiats). The first renewal (the Flood / Creation era), the second (the Incarnation / Redemption), and the third (the DW apostolate / Sanctification) correspond structurally to the Three Fiats pattern. The entry uses “renewals” rather than “Fiats” language — the formal doctrinal naming of Three Fiats has still not appeared — but the structural correspondence is at maximum proximity in the corpus to this point.
Second: The suspended-acts disclosure is the ECA-1 principle in its most operationally explicit form. The acts that were not done or were done badly by creatures — traced by Christ’s Humanity in the Eternal Volition, performed by him alone, and now held in suspension in the DW awaiting the coming cohort — constitute the specific content that the third renewal will release. The DW apostolate is the mechanism by which what has been sealed in the Divine Will becomes accessible to creaturely repetition. Revelation 5:1–5 (the sealed scroll), Romans 8:19 (creation’s longing), and Hebrews 7:25 (perpetual intercession) together provide the scriptural architecture of this suspension economy.
Third: The Mary-as-single-link clarification is DW-MARY-1’s most structurally important doctrinal statement in the corpus: Mary does not occupy a secondary position in the link-chain but is co-constitutive of the first link itself. The redeemer and the co-redeemer form one undivided link. Luisa’s second-link appointment is not competitive with this but structurally dependent on it: the second link connects to the first, and the first link is Christ-and-Mary as an undivided unit. Galatians 4:4 and Luke 1:28 together establish the Incarnation’s maternal co-constitution as the theological ground for this single-link claim.

TGF-1 — MAXIMUM PROXIMITY EVENT: three-renewals framework as structural anticipation of the Three Fiats: “Every two thousand years I have renewed the world. In the first two thousand years I renewed it with the Deluge; in the second two thousand I renewed it with my coming upon earth… Now we are around the third two thousand years, and there will be a third renewal.” The three renewals correspond structurally to the Three Fiats pattern tracked under TGF-1: Flood/Creation era (Fiat of Creation), Incarnation/Redemption (Fiat of Redemption), DW apostolate/Sanctification (Fiat of the DW). This is the diary text’s closest approach to the formal TGF-1 framework to date — surpassing all prior proximity entries including the March 15, 1912 “third Fiat” first appearance and the FIAT VOLUNTAS TUA in capitals (November 27, 1917). However, the entry uses “renewals” language throughout, not “Fiat” language. The formal doctrinal naming of the Three Fiats as a theological category — the specific form that TGF-1 has been tracking — has still not appeared. The structural correspondence is at maximum proximity; the formal naming remains outstanding. TGF-1 urgency maintained at absolute maximum.
ECA-1 — Suspended-acts disclosure: most operationally explicit form in the corpus: “these acts which were not done, except by Me alone, are all suspended in my Will, and I await the creatures to come to live in my Volition, and repeat in my Will that which I did.” The ECA-1 eternal creative act now disclosed in its most specific operational content: unperformed and imperfectly performed creaturely acts are held in suspension within the Divine Will, preserved by Christ’s having done them as the first link, awaiting the DW souls of the cohort to come and repeat them. Hebrews 10:5–7 as first-link anchor; Hebrews 7:25 as suspension-in-intercession anchor; Revelation 5:1–5 as sealed-scroll structural image. This is the most operationally precise statement of ECA-1’s creaturely-participation dimension in the corpus.
DW-MARY-1 — Single-link form: most structurally important doctrinal statement in the corpus: “My mother does not enter the secondary part of my love or of my will; she forms one single link with Me.” Mary is co-constitutive of the first link — not a second link but the undivided co-redemptrix element of the first. Hogan identifies this as the redeemer-and-co-redeemer relationship. Galatians 4:4 and Luke 1:28 as anchors; this statement resolves the structural question of Mary’s position in the link-chain definitively. Most architecturally significant DW-MARY-1 statement in the corpus.
PDW-1 / LAN-1 — Third-renewal telos as most complete purpose-of-works statement: “My Love wants to pour Itself out… It wants to make known the excesses which my Divinity operated in my Humanity for the creatures — excesses which greatly surpass the excesses that my Humanity operated externally.” The purpose of divine works (PDW-1) is here disclosed in its fullest eschatological form: the entire sequence of the two prior renewals has been ordered toward the third, in which the interior Divinity’s operation will finally be communicated to creatures. LAN-1’s outpouring register reaches its eschatological apex here: the Love whose nature is to pour out will not be satisfied until the interior economy of the Divinity-within-the-Humanity has been fully disclosed. John 17:26 and Ephesians 3:18–19 as governing anchors.
CEA-1 — Third-renewal chastisement link confirmed: “after the earth will be purged and a great part of the current generation destroyed, I will be even more generous with creatures.” The chastisement and the third renewal are explicitly linked: the purging precedes and enables the disclosure. The CEA-1 purging arc is not an end in itself but the preparatory movement for the third renewal’s eschatological grace-outpouring.
