Second Redemption Doctrine
The doctrine that Christ’s establishment of the DW living through Luisa replicates the structural pattern of the first Redemption — “I acted as in a second Redemption, in which I established the Gospel, the Sacraments, and the teachings as primary life, in order to be able to continue Redemption. Had I not left any foundation, to what could the creatures cling? Just so did I for the living in my Will” — as the first Redemption required descending in humility (Bethlehem, a stable, a poor family) to deposit the Gospel and Sacraments through humble instruments, so the DW era requires Christ to “go down the stairs” to choose a creature from the Church’s midst to establish the living-in-the-DW as the new foundational deposit from which all others draw; the Jeremiah 31:31–34 new-law-written-on-the-heart text and the writing in Luisa’s soul being the prophetic form of this second deposit. The scriptural ground is Acts 2:42 (the apostolic deposit — “they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” — as the explicit type for the DW deposit Jesus is now establishing), 2 Timothy 1:14 (guard the good deposit entrusted to you — the deposit-and-guarding structure applying to both Redemptions), Matthew 11:25–26 (hidden from the wise and revealed to little ones — the pattern of the humble instrument governing both descents), and Jeremiah 31:31–34 (I will write my law on their hearts — the prophetic ground of the writing in Luisa’s soul as the new deposit’s founding act).
