24-1928-03-25 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 24 — March 25, 1928 “How the knowledges are many steps which the Divine Will has taken in order to return to the midst of creatures. How these steps will bring life, light and sanctity. Sighs of Jesus for them to be made known.”

STAGE ONE — Independent Biblical Identification

Opening Round — Following the Divine Fiat in Its Acts

While following the Divine Fiat in order to accompany Its acts, my poor mind was thinking about the many truths which my beloved Jesus had told me concerning the Divine Will.

The opening clause — “following the Divine Fiat in order to accompany Its acts” — is the characteristic RPT-1 formula for Luisa’s contemplative round within the Divine Will.

From Flashes to Fountains to Seas — Progressive Illumination

The first truths He told me seemed flashes of light, which unleashed an endless light from within them. Then, little by little, they were no longer flashes, but fountains of light… Finally, they seemed to be seas of light, of truths, in which I would remain so submerged that my little capacity would not be able to take everything… It is like the Sun which, as it gives light, has ever more light to give — its light is never exhausted. And now it seems to me that I am in the light, but the light does not speak.

1 John 1:5 — “This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” The sea of DW light in which Luisa is immersed is identified by this verse as God’s own nature: immersion in the DW’s light is immersion in the divine being itself. The progression from flash to fountain to sea tracks the soul’s progressive entry into what God simply and always is. Direct doctrinal parallel

Psalm 36:9 — “For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.” The fountain-of-light image recurs precisely: the psalmist names the divine fountain as the source both of life and of all light by which light is seen. Luisa’s sequence — flashes, then fountains, then seas — is the experiential unfolding of this single verse’s double image. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 4:6 — “seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The progressive illumination Luisa describes is the Pauline interior shining: the same creative divine word that produced light at the beginning now shines within the soul, producing the knowledge of glory. Christological/Trinitarian

Isaiah 60:1–3 — “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the LORD’s glory has risen on you! For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” The eschatological dawning of divine light against the darkness of the world; Luisa’s immersion in the sea of light is the personal realization of the Isaianic promise, with the overflow intended for the darkened earth around. Typological

Job 38:19 — “What is the way to the dwelling of light? As for darkness, where is its place,” No creature can find the light’s dwelling because it is inexhaustible. Luisa’s acknowledgment that “it was not given to me to restrict all of that endless light within myself” enacts Job’s point: the divine light has no creaturely container adequate to hold it. Affective/meditative

Orders vs. Life — The Post-Fall Condition

“As man withdrew from Our Will, Our paternal goodness withdrew Its operating life from the midst of creatures… out of highest goodness, We left them the good of being able to follow the orders of Our Will – not the Life… Our Fiat is the prime act of the creature, and if It is missing in her, she remains disordered, adulterated, because she lacks the prime act of her existence.”

Genesis 3:22–24 (paraphrase) — The expulsion from Eden follows man’s rebellion: “He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword.” Man’s withdrawal from the DW caused the withdrawal of the operating divine life; the paradise-state of living within the divine operating will was forfeited precisely at the Fall. Typological

Galatians 3:24–25 — “So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.” The law (following orders) is the provisional economy God established after the withdrawal of the operating life — ordered toward salvation but constitutively incomplete relative to the living-in-DW state. The orders-vs.-life distinction maps precisely onto the Pauline law-vs.-Spirit-of-life distinction. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 8:2 — “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.” Two modes of relationship with God’s will: the law-of-commands level (orders) and the Spirit-of-life level (the DW as operating life). Paul’s distinction provides the deepest scriptural frame for the diary’s two-tier analysis. Direct doctrinal parallel

John 14:6 — “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” The DW is not merely commandment but life — the divine life communicated as interior operating principle. The orders-without-life state lacks precisely the “life” that Christ names as his essential identity and gift. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 3:10 — “and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,” The purpose of the operating life’s return is the restoration of the image — “to form the image wanted by Us — completely in Our likeness.” Knowledge and image-restoration are here explicitly linked, as they are throughout the IDR-1 sequence. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 29:13 — “The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;” The prophetic critique of commandment-following without interior life articulates the deficiency of the orders-only state: keeping the letter while the operating life remains absent. Typological

Many Centuries of Hidden Sighs — The Divine Longing Erupts

“After many centuries of hidden sighs, Our Supreme Being gushed out more intensely with love – more than in the very Creation and Redemption. Since Our Love, in gushing out, overflowed from Us, We felt the need of love to take the first steps toward the creature.”

Hosea 11:1–4, 8 — “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. They called to them, so they went from them. They sacrificed to the Baals, and burned incense to engraved images. Yet I taught Ephraim to walk. I took them by their arms, but they didn’t know that I healed them. I drew them with cords of a man, with ties of love; and I was to them like those who lift up the yoke on their necks; and I bent down to him and I fed him. “How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned within me, my compassion is aroused.” The “hidden sighs” of God over the centuries are Hosea’s most precise scriptural antecedent: the divine love held within itself while the creature wanders, finally erupting in the announcement of return. God’s “need of love to take the first steps” is this Hosean compassion breaking through its long concealment. Direct doctrinal parallel

Luke 15:20 — “He arose and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him.” The father who has been watching — sighing in hidden expectation across the long absence — erupts into action at the first sign of the prodigal’s return. The Supreme Being’s “gushing out” more intensely than at Creation or Redemption follows this pattern: the long vigil produces an intensity of love that overflows when the moment arrives. Typological

Isaiah 62:5 — “For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.” The intensity of divine love erupting beyond Creation and Redemption is the spousal rejoicing of the bridegroom who has waited through the long separation. The feast-language (“I rejoiced, I made feast”) in the next movement is this Isaianic joy made concrete. Affective/meditative

Romans 5:20 — “The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,” The “gushing out more intensely than in Creation and Redemption” follows Paul’s logic of superabundant divine response: the more radical the creaturely failure, the more intense the divine outpouring at the moment of restoration. Direct doctrinal parallel

Steps of the Knowledges — Heaven and Earth Filled

“As I began to manifest to you the first truths about my Divine Will, I pushed It strongly to take the first steps into the midst of creatures; and I centralized these steps in you by means of Its knowledges. And as I saw that you would place your steps in those of the Divine Fiat, I rejoiced, I made feast, and manifesting to you more truths about It, I would push It to take yet more steps. Therefore, as many truths as I told you about my Will, so many are the steps which I made my Fiat take in order to make It return as operating life into the midst of creatures… Heaven and earth are filled with the steps of the knowledges about my Will.”

Genesis 28:12 (CPDV) — “And he saw in his sleep: a ladder standing upon the earth, with its top touching heaven, also, the Angels of God ascending and descending by it” Jacob’s ladder is the image of steps between heaven and earth establishing divine-creaturely communication. The knowledges as “steps which I made my Fiat take” in order to return to the midst of creatures enacts this ladder-image: each knowledge is a rung connecting the divine operating life to the earthly plane. Typological

John 1:51 — “He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you all, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” Jesus identifies himself as the fulfillment of Jacob’s ladder: all communication between heaven and earth passes through him. The DW knowledges — centralized in Luisa as they were centralized in Jesus — are the steps of this ladder reaching into the midst of creatures. Christological/Trinitarian

Colossians 1:19 — “For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,” The centralization of the DW steps in Luisa follows the GCM-1 logic: first the fullness of the DW is centralized in one bearer, then from that bearer it flows outward. “I centralized these steps in you by means of Its knowledges” is the GCM-1 principle stated with maximum precision for this economy. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 55:10–11 — “For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” Each knowledge-step is a divine word going forth with creative power — not returning empty but watering the ground it reaches. The inexhaustible fecundity of the steps corresponds to this Isaianic pattern. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 1:9–11 — “making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him. We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,” The disclosure of the DW knowledges as “steps” in an eternal plan is the unfolding of this mystery: the return of the DW as operating life is the plan of the “fullness of time” being executed, step by step, knowledge by knowledge. Direct doctrinal parallel

Habakkuk 2:14 — “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.” “Heaven and earth are filled with the steps of the knowledges” is the diary’s version of this prophetic promise: the spread of DW knowledge is the filling of the earth with the Lord’s glory. Typological

The Painful Suspension — Weight of Good Waiting for Release

“If you knew how painful it is being able to do good, placing oneself in the act of doing it, and having to keep it suspended because it is not known, waiting and waiting and longing for one who would make it known to be able to release the weight of the good which one wants to give – oh, how you would hasten to make known all the steps of my Fiat!”

Habakkuk 2:3 — “For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” The divine goodness that presses for release and waits for the appointed instrument to make it known is the prophetic “vision awaiting its appointed time.” The painful suspension is not failure but the structure of prophetic timing: the good is ready, longing for release, awaiting the cooperation that will allow it to go forth. Direct doctrinal parallel

Luke 13:34 — “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!” The divine love placed in the act of doing good and finding the creature unwilling or unknowing is the exact movement Jesus laments. The painful suspension is this Lukan longing transposed into the DW economy. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 8:19 — “For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” The DW’s waiting and longing for its steps to be recognized and its life released has cosmic dimensions: creation itself participates in the longing for the DW children’s revealing. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 22:17 — “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.” The eschatological cry is the Spirit’s own desire that the good it contains be received — corresponding precisely to the DW’s longing that someone would make it known and release the weight of good. Affective/meditative

2 Corinthians 4:7 — “But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.” The “weight of good” that Jesus wants to give and must hold suspended is this treasure of surpassing power pressing within the creaturely vessel — seeking release into the wider world. Affective/meditative

The Sacred Heart Vision — Hampered Rays; Sun Analogy

After this, my sweet Jesus made Himself seen with His Divine Heart unleashing many rays of light; each knowledge about the Divine Will was impressed at the point from which the rays started… “These rays are all the knowledges about my Will; however, these rays are hampered — they cannot extend, because their knowledges are not known; this is why they cannot extend and expand so as to fill the whole earth with light. It happens as it would to the Sun if its rays, which start from the center of its sphere, were forced to remain in the air, without being able to extend so as to touch the earth and invest it with light and heat. Unable to extend its rays, the Sun would not be able to give the effects that its light contains, nor could the earth receive them. There would be a certain distance between the earth and the light of the Sun, and this distance would prevent the Sun from doing good to the earth, and the earth would be sterile and infertile.”

John 8:12 — “Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” The rays hampered within the Sacred Heart are this light of the world held back from reaching those who would walk in it. The “distance” Jesus names between the hampered sun and the sterile earth is the experiential condition of those who lack the light, not because it does not exist, but because it has not reached them. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 60:19–20 — “The sun will be no more your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will not go down any more, nor will your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will end.” The divine light replacing the natural sun is the eschatological promise; its hampered rays in the present moment are the not-yet of this promise. The extended rays filling the earth with light realize the Isaianic vision. Typological

Malachi 4:2 — “But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.” The sun of righteousness — whose healing wings are the rays — is the Sacred Heart’s DW rays. When they reach the earth they heal; while they remain hampered in the air, the sterility Jesus describes is the condition of those who needed their warmth. Typological

Matthew 5:14–15 — “You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.” The hampered rays are the lamp under the basket — contained, not extinguished, but unable to give to all in the house. The image of rays “forced to remain in the air” is structurally the lamp contained; in neither case is the light destroyed, but in both the benefit is intercepted. Typological

Revelation 1:16 — “He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.” The glorified Christ as the sun in full strength is the state the entry points toward: the DW rays fully extended, filling the earth, investing it with the heat and light of the Sacred Heart. The hampered rays are the Revelation 1 sun not yet allowed to shine in full strength over the earth. Typological

New Creation — Knowledges as the Creature Remolded

“These knowledges are, and contain, the new creation of transforming the creature as he came out of Our creative hands.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 — “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” The explicit new-creation language of the entry maps directly onto Paul’s most concentrated statement of interior transformation. The knowledges as “new creation” are not metaphorical; they carry the actual creative power by which the creature is remade. Direct doctrinal parallel

Jeremiah 18:1–6 — “The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, “Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and behold, he was making something on the wheels. When the vessel that he made of the clay was marred in the hand of the potter, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the LORD’s word came to me, saying, “House of Israel, can’t I do with you as this potter?” says the LORD. “Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.” The knowledges that “mold them anew, to transform them again in the life which my Fiat wants to infuse into them” are the potter’s hands returning to misshapen clay. God’s purpose in giving the knowledges is the same purpose as the potter’s returning to the vessel: to re-form it according to the original intention. Typological

Genesis 1:26–27 — “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” The “new creation of transforming the creature as he came out of Our creative hands” refers explicitly to this original act. The knowledges restore not a novel state but the primordial condition: the creature as it emerged from the divine creative act, fully in the image and likeness. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ezekiel 36:26 — “I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.” The interior transformation the knowledges accomplish — removing torpor, molding anew — is this prophetic new-heart promise enacted through the specific mechanism of DW knowledge. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 12:2 — “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” The transforming power of the knowledges operates at the level of interior renewal — the mind remade so that the will can conform to what the mind now knows and the soul now carries. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 21:5 — “He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” The eschatological scope of the new creation the knowledges initiate: not individual souls only but the restoration of “the order of Creation and the dominion of my Will in the midst of the human family.” The Revelation 21:5 promise is the cosmic frame for what the knowledges accomplish at the personal level. Direct doctrinal parallel

STAGE TWO — Comparison with Hogan’s Commentary

CORRESPONDENCES

1 John 1:5 — Both Stage One and Hogan identify this as the governing anchor for the sea-of-light movement. Hogan cites it explicitly (“God is light, in him there is no darkness”); Stage One identifies it as the foundational anchor for the entire flashes-fountains-seas progression. Full correspondence.

Jeremiah 18 (potter and clay) — Both identify this as governing for the final “new creation of transforming the creature” movement. Stage One cites Jeremiah 18:1–6 with rationale; Hogan cites it by chapter. Correspondence on the image; Stage One provides the formal citation.

Jacob’s ladder / Genesis 28:12 and John 1:51 — Hogan explicitly invokes the Jacob’s ladder image and cites John 1 for its fulfillment in Christ. Stage One independently identifies Genesis 28:12 and John 1:51 as governing for the steps-of-the-knowledges movement. Full correspondence on both passages.

DEVIATIONS

No substantive deviations. Hogan does not propose alternate passages for the same concepts; where she cites Scripture her identifications are shared with Stage One.

ADDITIONS — HERS

1 John 1:5–9 — Hogan extends the 1 John 1:5 citation to include the “walk in the light” passage (vv. 7–9), drawing the pastoral application: the soul is to walk in the light, allowing the progression from flashes through fountains to seas. Stage One identifies 1 John 1:5 as the doctrinal anchor but does not extend to the full passage. Hogan’s extension is sound: the walking-in-light sequence makes the progress Luisa describes not merely passive but an active movement into the light.

Isaiah 22:22 (implicit) — Hogan applies “when I close a door no man can open it, when I open a door no man can close it” to the confirmation-in-DW state, but this appears in connection with the April 1, 1928 entry commentary included in the same audio file. Not assigned to March 25.

Framing observation: Hogan reads the “steps of the knowledges” through the image of the Sacred Heart devotion (Margaret Mary Alacoque) and the Divine Mercy image (Faustina) — noting that the rays from the Sacred Heart image and the rays from the Divine Mercy image are the same theological reality Jesus is describing. This Marian-devotional frame is not explicit in Stage One and adds a significant iconographic dimension: the hampered rays of the DW knowledges are visible in the very images that define the post-Redemption devotional tradition.

Citation error — John 1:54: Hogan cites the Jacob’s ladder fulfillment as “John chapter 1, I think verse 54.” There is no John 1:54; the chapter has 51 verses. The correct reference for the Jacob’s ladder fulfillment in Christ is John 1:51 (“you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man”). Correction #327.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

This entry is among the most doctrinally concentrated of the volume thus far. Three biblical traditions converge: the light-theology of the Johannine tradition (1 John 1, John 8, Psalm 36), the prophetic tradition of divine longing and its eruption (Hosea 11, Luke 15, Isaiah 62), and the new-creation tradition (2 Corinthians 5, Genesis 1, Ezekiel 36, Revelation 21). The steps-of-the-knowledges teaching is the entry’s structural center, and it is governed simultaneously by Jacob’s ladder (ascent-descent communication) and Isaiah 55’s creative word (the word that goes forth and does not return empty). Hogan’s Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy framing adds an iconographic dimension — the hampered rays are the images that have defined modern Catholic devotion, now given their DW theological identification. The new-creation conclusion is the entry’s most eschatologically concentrated movement, naming the knowledges not merely as truths to be understood but as active creative instruments that re-form the creature in the original divine image.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 24 — March 25, 1928 “How the knowledges are many steps which the Divine Will has taken in order to return to the midst of creatures. How these steps will bring life, light and sanctity. Sighs of Jesus for them to be made known.”

Opening Round — Following the Divine Fiat in Its Acts

The entry opens with the RPT-1 formula — “following the Divine Fiat in order to accompany Its acts” — before Luisa’s reflective account begins. The round is simultaneous with the contemplative reflection: Luisa meditates on the nature of the DW’s disclosure while already inside the act of accompanying the Fiat through its movements. This convergence of the round-formula with a doctrinal meditation on the history of that very disclosure is new; earlier RPT-1 entries tend to separate the round from the teaching that follows. Here the meditation arises from within the round itself.

From Flashes to Fountains to Seas — Progressive Illumination

Luisa’s self-description of her spiritual autobiography — flashes of light, then fountains, then seas — constitutes one of the most formally precise accounts of progressive illumination in the corpus. The movement follows a logic of increasing containment: the soul at first receives discrete illuminations (flashes), then is placed under a continuous supply (fountains under whose jet she remains), then finds herself immersed in a vastness she can neither exhaust nor fully receive. The final state — “I am in the light, but the light does not speak” — is not a regression but a further advance: the soul is so wholly within the divine reality that the stage of receiving communications has given way to the stage of dwelling within the source.

1 John 1:5 governs as the primary anchor: “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” The sea of light is not a created luminosity but the divine being itself; to be immersed in the sea of DW light is to be drawn into what God simply is. Hogan confirms this identification explicitly, directing readers to 1 John 1:5–9 with the pastoral application that the soul is to actively walk into the light, allowing the progression Luisa describes to unfold: the flashes invite, the fountains sustain, the seas receive. Psalm 36:9 provides the double image — “with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light” — uniting both the fountain-phase and the sea-phase in a single verse. 2 Corinthians 4:6 places the entire progression under the heading of a new creation-act: the God who said “let light shine out of darkness” is now shining within the soul with the “light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The progressive illumination Luisa describes is not a mystical experience separable from this Pauline framework but its fullest experiential realization.

Orders vs. Life — The Post-Fall Condition

Jesus’s exposition of the Fall’s consequences delivers a formal two-tier analysis of humanity’s post-Fall relation to God’s will: “We left them the good of being able to follow the orders of Our Will — not the Life.” This distinction — orders vs. operating life — is the entry’s most doctrinally precise contribution to the PHD-1 arc. Earlier PHD-1 registers addressed the purposive hiddenness of the DW’s full disclosure; here that hiddenness is grounded in the post-Fall withdrawal of the operating life itself. The orders are what God left when the living communion was forfeited; they are genuine and salvific but constitutively incomplete.

Galatians 3:24–25 provides the governing scriptural parallel: the law as guardian (orders) is the provisional economy until the fullness comes. Romans 8:2 sharpens the distinction: “the law of the Spirit of life” vs. “the law of sin and death” — the same distinction between orders-following and DW-life-living, expressed in the Pauline idiom. Genesis 3:22–24 provides the narrative origin: the expulsion from Eden is the moment when the operating life withdrew, and the orders-economy commenced.

The phrase “Our Fiat is the prime act of the creature, and if It is missing in her, she remains disordered, adulterated, because she lacks the prime act of her existence” carries significant ATF-1 weight. The prior ATF-1 appearances have progressively identified the DW as the original-and-first act: November 6, 1927 (DW souls as first before God), January 27, 1928 (centuries as one single point), February 20, 1928 (unity as origin of all acts), March 3, 1928 (original act / origin of the DW). This entry adds: the DW is not merely first chronologically but constitutively — the “prime act” without which the creature is not merely deprived but structurally disordered. The ontological grounding of ATF-1 reaches its deepest register yet. Colossians 3:10 governs as anchor for the linked image-restoration dimension: renewal in knowledge after the image of the creator.

Many Centuries of Hidden Sighs — The Divine Longing Erupts

The section “after many centuries of hidden sighs, Our Supreme Being gushed out more intensely with love — more than in the very Creation and Redemption” is an IAD-1 apex of singular intensity. All prior IAD-1 registers have described the DW’s condition within the present situation — suffocating in its waves, forced to withhold its rays, a king without a kingdom. Here the temporal scale expands: the hidden sighs have persisted across centuries. The eruption when it comes is not proportional to an immediate want but to the accumulated longing of the entire post-Fall period — greater than the love that moved Creation, greater than the love that moved Redemption, because it carries the weight of all that unreciprocated longing finally finding its outlet.

Hosea 11:1–4, 8 governs: “My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender.” The divine heart recoiling, holding within itself the longing for the creature’s return, is the “hidden sighs” of this entry named prophetically. Luke 15:20 supplies the narratival form: the father who has been watching across the long absence erupts into running and embrace at the first sign of return. Romans 5:20 provides the structural logic: where the failure was greatest, the grace abounds all the more — the intensity of the gushing-out is proportional to the depth of what had to be waited through. Hogan identifies this movement correctly: God has struggled with humanity throughout the entire biblical history, through Redemption and through the two thousand years following, and now takes the first steps toward the DW’s full return.

Steps of the Knowledges — Heaven and Earth Filled

The teaching that “as many truths as I told you about my Will, so many are the steps which I made my Fiat take in order to make It return as operating life into the midst of creatures” is the entry’s structural center and its most formally novel contribution. Each knowledge is not merely information but a step — a concrete advance of the DW’s operating presence toward the creaturely plane. The disclosure and the advance are ontologically one: when Jesus speaks a truth about the Fiat to Luisa, the Fiat simultaneously takes a step toward the earth. Conversely, when Luisa places her own steps in those of the DW, Jesus “rejoices, makes feast, and manifests more truths” — a reciprocal dynamic in which creaturely correspondence draws further divine advance.

Genesis 28:12 and John 1:51 govern together, as Hogan confirms through the Jacob’s ladder image. The steps of the DW knowledges are Jacob’s ladder — the established communication between heaven and earth by which the divine operating life descends toward the creaturely plane. John 1:51 names Christ as the fulfillment: the DW knowledges, centralized in Luisa as in Christ, are the rungs of this ladder made accessible for the present economy. Isaiah 55:10–11 adds the fecundity dimension: each knowledge-step is a divine word going forth that does not return empty but waters the ground. Habakkuk 2:14 provides the scope: the earth filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory — “heaven and earth are filled with the steps” is the diary’s enactment of this promise.

The GCM-1 principle is explicitly operative: “I centralized these steps in you by means of Its knowledges” — the fullness is first concentrated in the bearer before it can flow outward. Colossians 1:19 governs. Hogan notes that the same logic governed the Incarnation: everything centralized in Mary first, then through her to all. The present economy follows the same structural law.

The Painful Suspension — Weight of Good Waiting for Release

The entry’s most affectively intense movement is Jesus’s description of the pain of being “able to do good, placing oneself in the act of doing it, and having to keep it suspended because it is not known.” This is an IAD-1 register that operates at the active rather than the passive level: the suffocation of prior registers described the DW held within itself by creature ignorance; here Jesus names the pain of being perpetually in the act of giving and finding the gift intercepted by non-knowledge. The distinction matters theologically: the DW is not dormant but active, pressing, reaching — and suspended not for lack of divine will to give but because the creaturely receiver has not been prepared.

Habakkuk 2:3 governs the structure: the vision waits for its appointed time — painful not because it is withheld arbitrarily but because the timing requires a prepared receiver. Luke 13:34 provides the affective register: Jesus lamenting over Jerusalem, placed in the act of gathering and finding the creature unwilling. The “weight of the good which one wants to give” is this Lukan longing in the DW economy. Romans 8:19 expands the frame cosmologically: “creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God” — the DW’s waiting is participated in by all of creation. The personal pain Jesus names is the focal expression of a cosmic yearning.

Stage One and Hogan are in agreement on the missionary urgency this generates: the weight of suspended good should hasten the disclosure. The suspension is not static but pressing — the longer the good is withheld from the creature, the greater the urgency of those who hold the knowledges to release them.

The Sacred Heart Vision — Hampered Rays; Sun Analogy

The vision of the Sacred Heart with each DW knowledge impressed at the point from which the rays start is the entry’s most visually concentrated teaching. The rays are present, they originate from the divine source, they carry the full content of the DW’s light — and they are hampered, “forced to remain in the air” before reaching the earth. The solar analogy is formally exact: a sun whose rays cannot reach the earth is not merely less effective but produces a different world-condition altogether — sterility, infertility, a cold distance where there should be warmth and growth.

Hogan’s framing is illuminating here: the Sacred Heart image (Margaret Mary Alacoque) and the Divine Mercy image (Faustina) are precisely the visual representations of rays extending from the divine Heart. These devotional images, in Hogan’s reading, are the iconographic form of the very teaching Jesus gives Luisa: the rays seeking to extend outward to fill the earth. The hampered rays of the DW knowledges are the theological content of which those devotional images are the visible sign. Stage One contributes Isaiah 60:19–20 (the Lord as everlasting light replacing the natural sun) and Malachi 4:2 (the sun of righteousness with healing wings) as the eschatological frame: the hampered state is the not-yet of these prophetic promises; the extended rays are their fulfillment.

John 8:12 governs the christological register: the light of the world being withheld from those who would walk in it is the exact condition the hampered rays produce. Matthew 5:14–15 provides the ecclesial analog: the lamp under the basket — the light is present, the suppression is the active interception of what should reach all in the house.

New Creation — Knowledges as the Creature Remolded

The entry closes with its most eschatologically comprehensive statement: “these knowledges are, and contain, the new creation of transforming the creature as he came out of Our creative hands.” This is not metaphor but ontological claim: the DW knowledges carry within themselves the creative power to remake the creature. They are active agents of transformation, not merely information about transformation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 governs: “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” The knowledges as new creation enact what Paul names in Christ: the old passing away, the new arriving. Jeremiah 18:1–6 — the potter and clay — provides the image Hogan cites explicitly: the knowledges are the potter’s hands working misshapen clay, returning to the original intention. Genesis 1:26–27 grounds the entire movement in the primordial act: the “new creation of transforming the creature as he came out of Our creative hands” is not a novel state but a restoration — the creature re-emerging from the original creative act in the image and likeness that the Fall had disordered. Ezekiel 36:26 (new heart and spirit) and Romans 12:2 (transformation through renewed mind) provide the interior mechanics: the knowledges enter the mind and heart and remake from within. Revelation 21:5 supplies the eschatological scope: “Behold, I am making all things new” — what the knowledges accomplish in the individual soul is the first instance of a universal renewal, the “restoration of the order of Creation and the dominion of my Will in the midst of the human family.”

Synthesis Conclusion

Dominant biblical imagination: The entry draws from three converging streams: the Johannine light-theology (1 John 1, John 8, Psalm 36, 2 Corinthians 4:6), the prophetic tradition of divine longing and its eschatological eruption (Hosea 11, Luke 15, Habakkuk 2, Isaiah 55, 60, 62), and the new-creation tradition (Genesis 1, Jeremiah 18, Ezekiel 36, 2 Corinthians 5, Revelation 21). The Jacob’s ladder complex (Genesis 28, John 1:51) provides the structural image for the entry’s central teaching.

Most load-bearing scriptural traditions: The steps-of-the-knowledges teaching is governed most deeply by Isaiah 55:10–11 (the word that goes forth and does not return empty) and Habakkuk 2:14 (the earth filled with knowledge of the Lord’s glory), which together name both the mechanism and the scope of the DW’s return. The new-creation conclusion is governed by the convergence of Genesis 1:26–27, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Revelation 21:5 — original creation, interior new creation, and universal new creation form an arc that the knowledges complete.

Three findings of highest theological significance: First, the ATF-1 advance in the “prime act of the creature” passage reaches the deepest ontological register of the doctrine yet: the DW is constitutive, not merely precedent — without it the creature is structurally disordered, not merely deprived. Second, the IAD-1 advance in the “many centuries of hidden sighs” passage establishes the temporal depth of the divine longing: the gushing out that has now come is greater than Creation and Redemption precisely because it carries the accumulated weight of centuries of patient, hidden waiting. Third, the steps-of-the-knowledges teaching establishes a direct ontological bond between the act of disclosure (Jesus speaking a truth to Luisa) and the DW’s actual advance toward the creaturely plane — the two are not sequential but simultaneous, making the mission of spreading the knowledges structurally equivalent to the DW’s return to operating life in the world.

24-1928-03-25

RPT-1 — one-hundred-and-twelfth confirmed / round-while-meditating-on-history-of-disclosure / new-integration: “While following the Divine Fiat in order to accompany Its acts” — standard RPT-1 formula, confirmed as the 112th diary-text appearance. Structural note: this is the first RPT-1 entry in which the round-formula opens a meditation specifically on the history of the DW’s disclosure to Luisa. The round and the doctrinal reflection are simultaneous rather than sequential, a new integration of the two.

ATF-1 — fifth appearance / prime-act-of-the-creature / deepest-ontological-register: “Our Fiat is the prime act of the creature, and if It is missing in her, she remains disordered, adulterated, because she lacks the prime act of her existence.” This is the fifth confirmed ATF-1 diary-text appearance. The prior four appearances progressively grounded the DW as chronologically first; this entry establishes it as constitutively first — the structural condition of the creature’s coherence, without which she is not merely incomplete but disordered in her essential being. This is the deepest ontological register of ATF-1 to date. Colossians 3:10 added as anchor; Genesis 1:26–27 reinforced.

IAD-1 advance — many-centuries-of-hidden-sighs / gushing-out-greater-than-Creation-and-Redemption / most-temporally-expansive: “After many centuries of hidden sighs, Our Supreme Being gushed out more intensely with love — more than in the very Creation and Redemption.” Prior IAD-1 registers identified the DW’s current condition of suffocation; this entry establishes the temporal depth: the hidden longing has persisted for centuries. The gushing-out that now arrives carries the accumulated weight of the entire post-Fall period, making its intensity greater than any prior divine outpouring. Hosea 11:1–4, 8 and Luke 15:20 govern as primary anchors; Romans 5:20 added.

PHD-1 advance — orders-vs-Life-distinction / operating-life-purposively-withdrawn-at-Fall: “We left them the good of being able to follow the orders of Our Will — not the Life.” New PHD-1 register grounding the purposive hiddenness doctrine in the post-Fall withdrawal of the DW’s operating life: the orders-economy (law/commandments) is the purposive substitute God established when the operating life withdrew, ordered toward salvation but constitutively incomplete. Galatians 3:24–25 and Romans 8:2 govern as new anchors.

SDR-1 register — restore-order-of-Creation / dominion-of-Will-in-human-family: “My Love, gushing out and flooding the whole world, will restore the order of Creation and the dominion of my Will in the midst of the human family.” Standard SDR-1 register; no new formal advance but confirms the restoration-of-order as the telos of the DW steps. Habakkuk 2:14 added as governing anchor.

GCM-1 register — centralized-steps-in-you-by-knowledges / explicit-bearer-principle: “I centralized these steps in you by means of Its knowledges” — the most formally compressed statement of GCM-1 applied to the DW’s return to the creaturely plane. Colossians 1:19 governing; Hogan confirms the parallel with the Incarnation centralization in Mary.
