Nascimenti Divini (Divine Births Doctrine)
The doctrine that each act performed in the Divine Will generates a divine birth — a new formation of the divine life within the creaturely space — so that the creature progressively “takes more space” within the single point that is God: “you resemble Me in everything, with this difference: I am one single point; and you, little by little, as you keep operating, thinking, speaking, loving in my Will, take more space and form divine births” — the creature resembling God by being a single point but growing rather than being already everything; each act of operating, thinking, speaking, and loving in the Will generating a birth of the divine life, the creature expanding act by act within the single divine point; the NT foundation being John 1:12-13 (the right to become children of God, born not of blood or human will but of God — the divine births being the progressive multiplication of this one fundamental birth of children of God) and 2 Peter 1:4 (partakers of the divine nature — each divine birth a further taking of space in the divine life, a deeper participation in the nature that is the single point’s content); the Pauline form being Galatians 4:19 (until Christ is formed in you — the progressive Christ-formation in the creature seen from the divine side as the successive births, each act another formation of Christ in the creaturely space).
