Blessed-Analogy Condition
The doctrine that the DW soul on earth enters a condition analogous to that of the Blessed in Heaven: God does not suppress free will but fills it with such a superabundance of knowledge of the infinite Will and its goods that the will, overwhelmed by irresistible force, spontaneously uses itself as if it did not exist — “the knowledge of an infinite Will and of the infinite goods in which they are immersed, leads them, with an irresistible force, to use their will as if they did not have it… spontaneous freedom and of their own will” — which is the earthly form of the Blessed state realized under conditions of earthly incompleteness but sharing the same mechanism: knowledge-overflow producing voluntary total surrender.
