14-1922-10-09 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 14 — October 9, 1922 “The human will acting in the Divine.”

STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION

The Will Entering the Divine — Emptying of Self, Creative Power Acting

“As your will enters into Mine, it empties itself of you, and Mine enters, acting in you; and as Mine acts, yours receives the strength of the Creative Power and remains acting in Me.”

Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” The structure Paul names is precise: the self emptied (“I no longer live”), the divine acting in its place (“Christ lives in me”), and the creaturely life continuing but now from within the divine life (“I live by faith”). This is the Pauline form of “it empties itself of you, and Mine enters, acting in you.” Direct doctrinal parallel

John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.” The kenotic principle governing the entry of the human will into the divine: the self diminishing as the divine expands within the same creaturely space. The October 9 entry names the full dynamic — emptying, entering, receiving the Creative Power, acting in the divine. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 3:3–4 — “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.” The creature whose life is hidden in God has accomplished the emptying that October 9 describes from the divine perspective: the will that has entered the divine and emptied itself is the life hidden with Christ in God. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 8:9–11 (translation pending) — “You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you… And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” The Spirit living in the creature and giving life to the mortal body — the Creative Power acting in the will that has entered the divine. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 3:18 — “But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” The transformation through the divine action in the creature — the creature “receiving the strength of the Creative Power” as the Spirit works the transformation from glory to glory. Direct doctrinal parallel

Jesus as One Single Point — Containing, Embracing, Doing Everything

“Since I am one single point, containing everything, embracing everything, doing everything, I see your will acting in Me with my own Creative Power, wanting to give Me everything and repay Me for all.”

Colossians 1:17 — “He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.” The sustaining omnipresence of the One in whom all things cohere — the single point that contains everything, because everything that exists does so within Him. Christological/Trinitarian

Acts 17:28 — “‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’” The divine as the single point in which all creaturely existence is located — the creature’s will acting in the DW is the explicit realization of what all creatures implicitly already are: in Him. Direct doctrinal parallel

Exodus 3:14 — “God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”I AM has sent me to you.”‘” The divine Name as pure presence — the single point that has no past and no future but only the eternal “I AM.” The soul’s will acting in the single point operates from within the pure present that is God’s mode of existence. Christological/Trinitarian

Ephesians 1:23 — “which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” The filling of all things as the operative character of the single point — the fullness is not distributed but one, the single point that fills everything precisely because it is not spread but absolutely concentrated. Christological/Trinitarian

Wisdom 8:1 — “But she reaches from one end to the other with full strength, and orders all things well.” The divine Wisdom’s omnipresent reach from a single ordering principle — the single point’s containing everything is wisdom’s ordering of all from its own concentrated center. Christological/Trinitarian

The Will Seen from the First Instant — As If Before the Fall

“I see it before Me from the very first instant in which I delivered the whole Creation. Leaving all behind, it comes forward, as if you were the first one to be created by Me, in whom no splitting of wills exists between Me and you — just as I would have wanted the first man to be — and it gives Me honor, glory, love, as if Creation had not gone out of my Will.”

Ephesians 1:4–5 — “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love, having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,” The eternal seeing of the creature in Christ from before the world was made — the divine sight of Luisa’s will from the first instant of Creation is the operative form of this election: she is seen as if the Fall had not occurred because she was chosen in Christ before the Fall was possible. Direct doctrinal parallel

Genesis 1:26–28 — “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness… So God created man in his own image.” The original man as the Father would have wanted — “just as I would have wanted the first man to be” — is the Genesis 1 man before Chapter 3: the imago Dei operating in full correspondence with the divine Will. The soul in the DW restores this original configuration. Typological

Romans 8:29–30 — “For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.” The foreknowledge from the first instant as the ground of the predestination chain — God’s seeing the will from the very first instant of Creation is the divine foreknowledge that grounds the entire chain of calling, justification, and glorification. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 13:8 — “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.” The divine perspective in which the economy of salvation is eternally present — the single point that contains no past or future sees the creature’s will acting in it from before Creation as simultaneously as it sees the Lamb slain before the foundation. Christological/Trinitarian

The Order of Creation Restored — Glory from Sun, Sea, and Stars

“The order of Creation is given back to Me; the harmonies, the joys, alternate together. I see this human will acting in Me in the light of the Sun, upon the waves of the sea, in the flickering of the stars — in everything; and it gives Me the glory of all the goods which these created things give to man.”

Psalm 19:1–4 — “For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,” The heavens, sun, and stars as the perpetual proclamation of divine glory — the human will acting in the DW now gathers what all these things pour forth and presents it to God in a single act: the “light of the Sun,” the “flickering of the stars” are what Psalm 19 names as the glory already inherent in creation. Typological

Psalm 148:3–5 — “Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars! … for he commanded, and they were created.” The created things (sun, stars, sea) that the DW soul’s will gathers in its act are the same creatures Psalm 148 calls to praise — here that praise is not only their own but is concentrated and offered through the will in the DW. Typological

Romans 8:19–22 — “For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be … the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.” The order of creation given back — the DW soul’s will acting in the light of the sun and waves of the sea is the “revealing of the sons of God” for which all creation has been waiting; the order restored through the DW is the liberation Romans 8 anticipates. Typological

Romans 11:36 — “For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.” The theological architecture of the restoration: the glory of sun, sea, and stars returns to God through the will in the DW — the “to him” dimension of Romans 11:36 made operative through a creaturely act. Christological/Trinitarian

Sirach 42:15–17 (translation pending) — “Let me now remember the works of the Lord… The Lord made his servants holy, and all the nations will know his glory.” God’s glory seen in the works of creation — the sun, sea, and stars that the soul in the DW gathers to present before God are the works of the Lord that Sirach catalogs, now offered back to their Maker through the creaturely will’s operation within the Will. Typological

Divine Births — Taking More Space, Forming Births in the Single Point

“You resemble Me in everything, with this difference: I am one single point; and you, little by little, as you keep operating, thinking, speaking, loving in my Will, take more space and form divine births.”

John 1:12–13 — “But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” The birth from God as the fundamental NT category for what October 9 names “divine births” — the births generated by acts in the DW are the progressive realization and multiplication of this one birth of children of God. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Peter 1:4 — “by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.” The progressive partaking of the divine nature through each act in the Will — “taking more space” is the expansion of creaturely participation in the divine nature; each act in the Will is a taking of more space within the single point. Direct doctrinal parallel

Galatians 4:19 — “My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—” The progressive formation of Christ in the creature — “little by little, as you keep operating… you take more space and form divine births” — is the Galatians 4:19 process seen from the divine side: each act in the Will is a birth of Christ in the creature, and the creature’s “taking more space” is Christ being progressively formed. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 4:13 — “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” The full stature as the telos toward which the progressive “divine births” are moving — each birth takes the creature further into the measure of Christ’s fullness. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 John 3:9 — “Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him, and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.” The seed of God as the interior principle of the divine birth — the divine births of October 9 are the progressive actualizations of what the seed of God already contains within the creature. Direct doctrinal parallel

STAGE TWO — COMPARISON WITH HOGAN’S COMMENTARY

CORRESPONDENCES

Exodus 3:14 — Hogan cites the divine “I AM” as the correlate of the “one single point”: “I AM in Greek is ego eimi… and that’s what Jesus said to the apostles when he walked on the water in the storm.” Stage One independently identified Exodus 3:14 as the divine Name corresponding to the single point’s pure presence.

Note on Hogan’s conflation: Jesus’s “ego eimi” on the water is Matthew 14:27 / Mark 6:50 (“Take heart; it is I” — ego eimi). John 8:58 (“Before Abraham was, I am”) is the more direct I AM claim in the Johannine corpus. Hogan correctly identifies the ego eimi formula but conflates two distinct Johannine/Synoptic incidents. The Exodus 3:14 citation is correct; the Gospel incident she describes is Matthew 14:27, not John 8:58. This is a contextual imprecision rather than a citation error.

The Adam parallel — “just as I would have wanted the first man to be” — is noted by Hogan without Scripture citation: “Adam lived in it for a while, and then he opted out.” Stage One grounds this in Genesis 1:26–28 and Ephesians 1:4.

DEVIATIONS

Hogan approaches the “one single point” through the astrophysical singularity analogy (beyond the Big Bang, the singularity outside space and time) rather than through Scripture. Stage One approaches the same principle through Colossians 1:17, Acts 17:28, Ephesians 1:23, and Wisdom 8:1. The two approaches are mutually illuminating: Hogan’s singularity analogy makes the scientific resonance vivid; Stage One’s scriptural anchors establish the theological depth of what the analogy reaches toward. Neither approach is substitutable for the other.

For the order-of-creation-restored movement, Stage One activates Romans 8:19–22 (creation waiting for the revealing of the sons of God) as the eschatological frame for what October 9 names. Hogan does not develop this dimension.

ADDITIONS — HERS

The astrophysical singularity observation: Hogan draws an analogy between the “one single point” and the scientific concept of a singularity beyond the Big Bang — a concentrated point outside space and time in which past and future do not exist. This is not a Scripture citation but an analogical bridge: if astrophysicists have arrived at a singularity that contains everything, they have reached toward the concept Jesus names without being able to name it “divine Will.” The implicit scriptural background is Acts 17:23 (the “unknown God” Athenians worship without knowing His name) — the singularity awaiting its theological identification.

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

Hogan designates the entire entry as a VIP: “this is another VIP one.” The content elevated is the whole disclosure of the human will acting in the divine — the emptying, the Creative Power received, the will seen from the first instant of Creation, the divine births. Sequential number TBD.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The entry’s dominant biblical imagination operates at the intersection of three traditions. The kenotic tradition (Galatians 2:20; John 3:30; Colossians 3:3–4; Romans 8:9–11) grounds the emptying-and-filling dynamic: the self diminishes, the Creative Power enters, the creature acts from within the divine. The divine-omnipresence / single-point tradition (Colossians 1:17; Acts 17:28; Exodus 3:14; Ephesians 1:23) grounds the single-point theology: the divine is concentrated, containing all things, outside time, the eternal I AM. The creation-return tradition (Psalm 19, 148; Romans 8:19–22; Romans 11:36) grounds the order-of-creation restoration: the DW soul’s will gathering the glory of sun, sea, and stars to return to God is the operative form of the “to him are all things” that Romans 11:36 proclaims. The divine births (John 1:12–13; 2 Peter 1:4; Galatians 4:19) are the mechanism of the creature’s progressive growth within the single point — each act a birth, each birth an expansion.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 14 — October 9, 1922 “The human will acting in the Divine.”

CROSS-ENTRY SYNTHESIS

The Emptying and the Creative Power

The entry opens with the mechanism of entry into the DW stated with its greatest precision to date. The sequence is exact: (1) the will enters the divine Will; (2) as it enters, it empties itself of the creature; (3) the divine Will enters, acting in the creature; (4) the creature’s will, now operating from within the divine, receives the strength of the Creative Power; (5) it remains acting in God. This is not a one-time event but the structural dynamic of every act in the Will.

Stage One’s kenotic anchors map the full circuit. Galatians 2:20 names the completed form: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me” — self emptied, divine acting. John 3:30 names the directional principle: “He must increase, I must decrease.” Colossians 3:3–4 names the hidden structure: “your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Romans 8:9–11 names the operative result: the Spirit living in the creature gives life to the mortal body — the Creative Power activating the will that has entered the divine. 2 Corinthians 3:18 names the dynamic: transformation through the divine action from glory to glory.

The mutual relation between the two wills is stated here at its most precise: the creature’s will does not disappear but receives a new mode of operation. “Yours receives the strength of the Creative Power and remains acting in Me” — the creaturely will is not replaced but elevated: it acts, but now with the Creative Power it did not previously possess. The ECA-1 dimension is clear: the will in the DW carries a creative range no creaturely act outside the DW possesses.

The Single Point — Theological Depth of the Astrophysical Analogy

The “one single point, containing everything, embracing everything, doing everything” is the entry’s most philosophically dense disclosure. Hogan approaches it through the astrophysical singularity analogy — a concentrated point beyond the Big Bang outside space and time — and notes that if scientists could name it “divine Will” they would have the entire answer. Stage One’s scriptural anchors give the analogy its theological substance.

Colossians 1:17 (“in him all things hold together”) and Acts 17:28 (“in him we live and move and have our being”) establish that the single point’s containing-everything is not an attribute of concentrated mass but the relational reality of all existence within God: everything is held together in Him, everything moves and exists in Him. The single point does not contain the universe like a container holds objects; it is the principle within which all things have their being.

Exodus 3:14 (Hogan and Stage One) gives the Name: “I AM WHO I AM” — the pure present, the eternal self-existence with no past and no future, which is what the “one single point” names ontologically. Hogan’s observation that the I AM has no past and no future — operating from within the singularity, the creature’s will acts in the eternal present — is the most important practical consequence: “from the very first instant in which I delivered the whole Creation” is not a memory in God but the eternal present of the single point. The creature’s will seen from the first instant is seen now; all of salvation history is simultaneously present within the single point.

Ephesians 1:23 and Wisdom 8:1 complete the picture: the fullness that fills everything in every way (Ephesians) and the Wisdom that reaches from end to end ordering all things well (Sirach) are the personal attributes of the single point that makes the creature’s will, once inside, operative in every time and place. This is the ECA-1 foundation at its deepest level.

Seen from the First Instant — As If Before the Fall

The most theologically arresting disclosure of the entry is the divine perspective: “I see it before Me from the very first instant in which I delivered the whole Creation… as if you were the first one to be created by Me, in whom no splitting of wills exists — just as I would have wanted the first man to be — and it gives Me honor, glory, love, as if Creation had not gone out of my Will.”

The Fall, from within the single point, is seen as though it did not interrupt the creature’s operating in the Will — because within the eternal present of the I AM, the creature’s act now is seen alongside the first instant of Creation. This is the October 6 possession-taking operating at its deepest level: the act in the Will takes possession of the entire expanse of the single point, including the first instant of Creation, and restores there the glory that should have been given from the beginning.

Stage One’s Ephesians 1:4 grounds this precisely: “chosen in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.” The divine seeing of the creature as holy and blameless before the foundation — the prior election — is now operative: the creature who acts in the Will makes the election visible in time. Romans 8:29–30 names the chain: foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification, glorification — all visible to God from the first instant because all exist within the eternal present of the single point.

Genesis 1:26–28 and Hogan’s Adam-observation together illuminate the “as if you were the first one to be created” statement. Adam was the first man as God wanted him — in the DW, without the split of wills. Luisa’s will in the DW restores what Adam had and lost. From within the single point, the Fall is a deviation visible from eternity; the creature acting in the Will from within that same eternity is seen before the deviation, as if the deviation had not occurred. The order of Creation is given back not by undoing history but by operating from within the point where history is eternally held.

Glory of Sun, Sea, and Stars — The ECA-1 Creation-Glory Form

“I see this human will acting in Me in the light of the Sun, upon the waves of the sea, in the flickering of the stars — in everything; and it gives Me the glory of all the goods which these created things give to man.”

This is the most comprehensive ECA-1 statement in the corpus for the creation-glory register. The August 6 form (cosmological-balance / acts governing the order of deranged acts) and the August 12 form (braided-will omnipresence extending everywhere) established that the will in the DW participates in divine omnipresence. October 9 names what that omnipresent participation accomplishes: the will in the DW acts in the light of the sun, in the waves of the sea, in the flickering of the stars — not symbolically but as the operative form of the Creative Power received in the emptying. And it gathers the glory that all these created things represent to man and presents it to God as a single act.

Psalm 19:1–4 and Psalm 148:3–5 give the OT structural type: the heavens declaring glory, the sun and stars called to praise — what all creation ceaselessly pours forth, the DW will concentrates and presents. Romans 8:19–22 names the eschatological dimension: creation has been waiting for the revealing of the sons of God — the DW soul’s will acting in the light of the sun and waves of the sea is precisely this revealing; the order restored is the freedom and glory of the children of God that creation groaned for. Romans 11:36’s “to him are all things” is what the will in the DW makes operative: the “to him” dimension of the Trinitarian circulation accomplished through the creaturely act.

Sirach 42:15–17 (Stage One) adds the specific register of seeing the Creator’s glory in the works He made — the DW will acting in the created things is the operative form of what Sirach names as the contemplative reception of the Creator’s glory in creation, here elevated from reception to active presentation.

Divine Births — Taking More Space Within the Single Point

“You, little by little, as you keep operating, thinking, speaking, loving in my Will, take more space and form divine births.”

This is a new theological category in the corpus. Prior entries have named possession-taking (October 6: “for each thing you do in It, you will take one more possession and acquire a greater right”). October 9 names what each possession-taking generates: a divine birth. The creature does not merely accumulate rights within the DW; each act generates a birth — a new instance of the divine life formed in the creaturely space.

Stage One’s anchors give the concept its scriptural depth. John 1:12–13 (the right to become children of God, born not of flesh but of God) names the foundational category: the divine births of October 9 are the progressive realizations of the one birth of children of God, multiplied through each act in the Will. Galatians 4:19 (Christ progressively formed in the creature through what Paul calls the anguish of childbirth) names the mechanism from the apostolic perspective: each act in the Will is a forming of Christ, a birth. 2 Peter 1:4 (becoming partakers of the divine nature) names the result: the creature “taking more space” is the expansion of creaturely participation in the divine nature, one birth at a time. 1 John 3:9 grounds the permanence: God’s seed abides — the divine births are not reversible because they proceed from the seed of God that, once planted, remains.

The “little by little” is theologically important: it distinguishes the DW life from a sudden transformation. The creature does not enter the single point and instantly fill it; she enters and progressively expands through acts — each act a birth, each birth a taking of more space. The single point’s infinity means there is always more space to take, always more births to form. The creature’s growth within the divine is indefinitely expansible without ever reaching the divine’s own mode of being (“I am one single point; and you… take more space” — the distinction is maintained even as the participation deepens).

Synthesis: Dominant Biblical Imagination and Load-Bearing Correspondences

The entry is built on a single compressed doctrinal movement: the creature’s will enters the divine, empties, receives the Creative Power, acts in the single point that is the I AM, is seen there from the first instant of Creation, gathers the glory of all created things, and generates divine births through each act. Every movement in the entry is the same movement stated at a deeper level.

The dominant biblical imagination is the Pauline kenotic-transformation tradition (Galatians 2:20; Romans 8:9–11; 2 Corinthians 3:18) joined to the Johannine I-AM theology (Exodus 3:14; Acts 17:28) and the creation-glory tradition (Psalm 19; Romans 8:19–22; 11:36). Hogan’s astrophysical singularity analogy names the scientific resonance; Stage One’s scriptural depth names the theological substance; together they give the “one single point” its full weight.

The three findings of greatest theological significance are: (1) the ECA-1 creation-glory form — the will acting in the light of the sun, waves of the sea, and flickering of the stars, gathering the glory of all created things for God; this is the most comprehensive ECA-1 statement of the creation-return register in the corpus, grounded in the Creative Power received through the emptying; (2) the single-point / eternal-present structure — the creature’s will seen from the first instant of Creation as if before the Fall, because within the I AM’s eternal present the act now and the first instant coexist; the Fall is not undone in time but overwritten from within eternity; (3) the divine births — each act in the Will generating a progressive expansion of the creature’s participation in the divine nature, a taking of more space within the single point that is indefinitely expansible; each act not merely an operative participation but a birth, a new formation of the divine life in the creaturely space. This new category (nascimenti divini) has not appeared before in the corpus and warrants monitoring for development.

14-1922-10-09

VIP — October 9 (Hogan explicit): Hogan designation: “this is another VIP one.” Content elevated: the entire disclosure of the human will acting in the divine — the emptying, the Creative Power received, the will seen from the first instant of Creation, the divine births. Sequential number TBD.

ECA-1 — creation-glory / will-acting-in-sun-sea-stars / all-created-things form: “I see this human will acting in Me in the light of the Sun, upon the waves of the sea, in the flickering of the stars — in everything; and it gives Me the glory of all the goods which these created things give to man.” Most comprehensive ECA-1 statement for the creation-return register in the corpus. Prior forms: cosmological-balance (August 6), braided-will omnipresence (August 12), all-creatures-in-one-creature (August 15). October 9 names what the omnipresent participation accomplishes: the will in the DW actively gathers the glory of all created things and presents it to God in a single act. Romans 11:36 (“to him are all things”) made operative; Romans 8:19–22 (creation waiting for the sons of God) as the eschatological frame.

NBD-1 candidate (Nascimenti Divini — Divine Births Doctrine) — first appearance: “Little by little, as you keep operating, thinking, speaking, loving in my Will, take more space and form divine births.” First appearance of the divine-births category as a distinct doctrinal concept: each act in the Will generates a birth, a new formation of the divine life in the creaturely space, and the creature progressively takes more space within the single point. Distinct from the possession/right register (October 6) and the ECA-1 operative mechanism: this is the ontological result — births formed, space taken. John 1:12–13, Galatians 4:19, and 2 Peter 1:4 are governing anchors. Monitor for second appearance before opening as formal tracking item.
