Solar Rotation Cosmology Doctrine
The doctrine that the created purpose of the human person is perpetual rotation around God as center — God being to the soul as the sun is to its orbiting bodies, reflecting divine light, love, likeness, and happiness into the creature in exact proportion to the creature’s continuous revolution: “this was exactly the purpose for which I created man: that he would always rotate around Me, and I, being at the center of his rotation like a Sun, was to reflect in him my Light, my Love, my Likeness and all my happiness” — sin being the cessation of rotation and the resulting deprivation of what the rotating creature would have received, while the DW soul is the creature whose orbit is never interrupted and who therefore receives without interruption. The scriptural ground is Colossians 1:17 (in him all things hold together — God as the center without which creaturely existence loses its coherence and rotation), Acts 17:28 (in him we live and move and have our being — the creature’s rotation as the form of the creaturely dependence Paul describes), Psalm 19:1–6 (the sun going forth like a bridegroom from his tent, and nothing is hidden from its heat — the sun as the image of God radiating to all creatures that maintain their relation to him), and 2 Corinthians 3:18 (we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory — the reflection of divine likeness as the fruit of the maintained orbital relation).
