Volume 30 — January 17, 1932 “Dominating, Speaking and Delighting Modes of the Divine Will. How Heaven remains behind. Victory of God and Victory of the creature. The Divine Will, Gatherer of Its Works. Example of a mother who cries over her crippled child.”

STAGE ONE — Independent Biblical Identification

The Interminability of the Divine Will and the Pilgrim’s Fiat

“The Interminability is so Great, that even if I should walk for centuries, I would always find myself at the beginning; and there is so much to know about the Divine Volition, that finding myself in Its Sea, I always feel like the little ignorant one who has only learned the vowels of the Divine Will, and who maybe will go to learn the consonants in the Celestial Fatherland—that I hope to reach soon. O! how I would like ways to move all Heaven to pity, so that my long exile may end. But, after all, Fiat! Fiat! Fiat!”

Sirach 1:2 — “Who can count the sand of the seas, the drops of rain, and the days of eternity?” Wisdom’s opening rhetorical question on the inexhaustibility of divine wisdom corresponds precisely to Luisa’s experience of the DW’s Interminability: not a deficiency in the creature but an attribute of the divine reality being traversed. The unanswerable question is itself the theological answer — the DW cannot be exhausted because it shares in the wisdom that exceeds all counting. Affective/meditative

Psalm 90:4 — “For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.” The experience of always finding herself “at the beginning” despite extended traversal maps onto the creature’s encounter with divine eternity: from within God’s eternal present, no creature-progress registers as advance in the way it would within time. The DW’s Sea cannot be measured by creaturely duration. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 13:12 — “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.” Luisa’s formulation of knowing “only the vowels” on earth while the consonants await the Celestial Fatherland enacts Paul’s epistemological structure for the pilgrim state: partial knowledge now, full knowledge in glory. The distinction between vowels and consonants mirrors the mirror/face-to-face distinction precisely: elementary access to a language not yet fully spoken. Direct doctrinal parallel

Philippians 1:23 — “But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.” The exile-longing expressed in Luisa’s desire to “reach soon” the Celestial Fatherland enacts the Pauline tension between genuine pilgrim work and the desire for complete union. The longing is not a failure of will but the natural orientation of the creature toward her origin, which Paul affirms even while accepting the value of remaining. Affective/meditative

Luke 22:42 — “saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” The threefold “Fiat! Fiat! Fiat!” as Luisa’s response to exile-longing enacts the Gethsemane structure of total conformity: not the suppression of genuine suffering but its offering through explicit, repeated act of will-surrender. The threefold repetition intensifies and formalizes the conformity, echoing the three-repeated prayer of Gethsemane. Christological/Trinitarian

The Dominating Mode: Dominion Extended Through Every Faculty

“now It takes on the Dominating Mode, and Its Dominion extends in the mind, in the word, in the heart, in the whole being of the creature, even in the littlest motion… It is Dominion and Life, It is Dominion and Strength, It is Dominion and Light that makes Its way, and Its Light dispels the darkness, removes the bars that may prevent Good, and Its Dominion puts the enemies to flight. In sum, the creature feels carried by the Dominion of the Divine Will; and while she is dominated, she becomes Dominator of herself, of her acts, and of the very Divine Will… It identifies Itself with the creature and wants her to Dominate along, because Its Dominion is Peaceful, and to each of the acts that the creature does It gives Its Kiss of Dominating Peace. This Kiss, Gentleness and Sweetness, enraptures the human will in the Divine, and they extend the Dominion together to form the Divine Kingdom in the depth of the soul.”

Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” The identification of the DW with the creature such that she dominates alongside it corresponds exactly to Paul’s formulation: the union is so complete that the creature’s agency and the DW’s agency become simultaneous and mutually present. The creature’s becoming “Dominator” within the DW’s Dominion is the mystical co-agency Paul describes from the inside. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 8:14 — “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.” Being “carried by the Dominion of the Divine Will” enacts the pneumatological structure of Romans 8: being led by the Spirit is the defining mark of divine sonship, and this leading is precisely the DW’s carrying of the creature in a Dominion she consents to receive. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 15:28 — “When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.” The “Total Dominion of My Divine Will” extending through “the whole being of the creature, even in the littlest motion” is the creaturely anticipation of the eschatological reality Paul names: God all in all, not only in general but in each particular of creaturely existence. The DW’s Dominating Mode is the pilgrim-state form of the eschatological completion. Christological/Trinitarian

Philippians 4:7 — “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” The “Kiss of Dominating Peace” that enraptures the human will and draws it into the DW corresponds to this peace: surpassing understanding because it does not arise from circumstances but from the DW’s own nature communicated directly to the creature. The Kiss is the means; the peace is the content; the enrapturing of the human will is the effect Paul describes as guarding the heart and mind. Affective/meditative

Colossians 1:13 — “who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,” The DW’s Dominion dispelling “the darkness, removing the bars that may prevent Good, and putting the enemies to flight” enacts the Colossian transfer: the soul moved from one domain to another through the DW’s conquering activity. The “domain” language of Colossians is the precise vocabulary of Dominating Mode. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 10:5 — “throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” The DW’s Dominion extended even to “the mind” and to “the littlest motion” as a total conquest of the creature’s interior life corresponds to this Pauline image of thought-captivity: not coercion but the gentle yet complete subjection of every faculty to a new governing authority. Typological

Romans 8:37 — “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” The creature becoming “Dominator of herself, of her acts, and of the very Divine Will” — the co-dominion within the DW’s Dominion — is the Pauline “more than conquerors” realized not through external victory but through the interior reign established by the DW’s identification with the creature. Direct doctrinal parallel

Heaven Remaining Behind: The Conquering Work in the Pilgrim Soul

“I could say that Heaven remains behind in the face of the Dominion of My Will in the heart of the pilgrim creature. In fact, in the Saints It has nothing to add; there is nothing left but to delight them continuously; while in the pilgrim soul there are Works that It can do, New Life It can Infuse, New Conquests It can obtain, to Expand and Extend more Its Dominion. The Total Dominion of My Divine Will in the creature is Our continued Victory; for each of Its Acts which It does in her with Its Dominion, so many Victories do We obtain, and the creature becomes the Winner of Our Divine Will in her acts. On the other hand, in Heaven We have nothing to win because everything is Ours.”

2 Corinthians 5:6–8 — “Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord; … are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.” The pilgrim condition is precisely the condition in which the DW still has conquests to make, New Life to infuse, new Victories to win: precisely because the soul is still in the body, the DW’s work is incomplete in a way that generates ongoing creative activity. The saints have no such incompleteness; the DW has nothing to add in Heaven. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hebrews 12:1–2 — “Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” The completed saints in Heaven stand as “cloud of witnesses” behind the pilgrim soul whose race is still being run — exactly the structure of “Heaven remains behind” in this entry. The saints have finished their race; the DW is still winning victories through the pilgrim. The witnesses are behind precisely because the race is still ahead. Typological

Revelation 3:21 — “He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.” The creature becoming “the Winner of Our Divine Will in her acts” resonates with Revelation’s pattern of conquest and co-enthronement: Christ’s victory extended into and through the creature’s DW-acts until she is constituted as co-victor. The creature’s winning is Christ’s winning through her. Christological/Trinitarian

Luke 15:7 — “I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.” Heaven’s active interest in the pilgrim soul’s ongoing progress — suggested by “Heaven remains behind” watching the DW’s conquering work — is the Luke 15 structure in reverse: the saints are the ninety-nine whose work is complete, but Heaven’s attention and the DW’s active joy is directed toward the one in whom the work is still being accomplished. Affective/meditative

1 Corinthians 13:10 — “but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.” In the glorified saints, the partial has given way to the perfect; the DW has nothing to add because everything is complete. In the pilgrim soul, the partial is still yielding to the perfect: the DW’s ongoing New Life, New Conquests, and New Victories mark the transition that is still in progress. The pilgrim is the site of becoming; Heaven is the site of completion. Direct doctrinal parallel

The Speaking Mode: The Creative Word of the Divine Will

“once My Divine Will has secured Its Total Dominion in the creature, It takes on Its Speaking Mode. You must know that each of Its Words is a Creation… It wants to Create Itself in the creature, It wants to make Display of Its Divine Qualities—and It does so Word by Word, almost as It did in the Creation of the universe… It Speaks and creates Light, It Speaks and Creates Sweetness, It Speaks and Creates Divine Strength, It Speaks and Creates in her Its Day of Peace, It Speaks and Creates Its Knowledges. Each of Its Words is Bearer of Creation of the Good It possesses and reveals.”

Genesis 1:3 (CPDV) — “And God said, “Let there be light.” And light became” The DW’s Speaking Mode is explicitly modeled on the Creation narrative: “It does so Word by Word, almost as It did in the Creation of the universe.” The paradigmatic creative speech of Genesis is extended into the DW’s ongoing creative activity within the creature: a second creation of the soul’s interior enacted through the same divine speaking. Direct doctrinal parallel

John 1:1–3 — “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.” The identification of the DW’s Speaking Mode with the Johannine Word establishes the Christological ground of the entry’s mystical teaching. The “each of Its Words is a Creation” claim is not mere analogy but participation in the Word’s creative nature: the DW speaks because it is, or proceeds from, the eternal creative Word. Christological/Trinitarian

Isaiah 55:10–11 — “For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” The DW’s Creative Word does not merely offer but creates: Light, Sweetness, Strength, Peace, Knowledges are not proposed to the creature but brought into existence within her. Isaiah’s image of the effective divine word that does not return empty is the Old Testament charter for the DW’s Speaking Mode. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 4:6 — “seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The DW “Speaks and creates Light” within the soul is specifically identified here as the interior repetition of the Genesis creative act: the God of Genesis 1:3 performing the same creative speech now within the human heart. Light is the first creation and the first interior creation, and knowledge of glory is its content. Christological/Trinitarian

Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The DW’s Creative Word being “Bearer of Creation of the Good It possesses and reveals” corresponds to Hebrews’ characterization of the divine word as living and active: not static information deposited in the mind but ontologically creative presence penetrating every level of the creature. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 2:3 — “in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.” The DW’s words creating “Knowledges” and depositing in the soul “many Heavens, Seas of Riches, Varieties of Beauty” corresponds to Colossians’ affirmation that all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. The DW’s Speaking Mode is the means by which this hidden wealth is communicated into and created within the creature: each creative Word draws from the same inexhaustible treasury. Direct doctrinal parallel

Matthew 16:26 — “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?” “The soul costs Us more than the whole universe” states the same calculus from the divine side: what Jesus names as the soul’s incomparable value from the human perspective, the DW affirms from the divine. The soul’s infinite value is the ground of the DW’s creative extravagance in speaking — why it does not hold Its Words back once Dominion is secure. Direct doctrinal parallel

The Delighting Mode: Mutual Joy, Feast, and the Order of the Soul

“My Will, of Its own Nature, is pregnant with Innumerable Joys; It looks at the creature who has offered herself to receive the Creation of Its Words, and—O! how happy It feels, because It sees that each Creation that was received gives Birth to a Joy and Happiness without end. And It passes from the Speaking Mode to the Delighting Mode; and so that the creature may enjoy more, It does not put Itself aside—no, but delights together with her… Our only Feast and Happiness that We have upon earth is the soul who lets herself be possessed by the Dominion of My Supreme Will… one who lets herself be dominated by the human will, is in the disorder, and is Our continuous shame of Our Creative Work.”

Zephaniah 3:17 — “The LORD, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.” The DW delighting “together with” the soul and remaining with her “to be able to delight you always” is the Zephaniah structure: divine rejoicing as an active, operative presence accompanying the beloved. The Delighting Mode is not the creature’s joy in God but the mutual joy in which God exults over the creature and the creature is held in that exultation. Affective/meditative

John 15:11 — “I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.” The Speaking Mode’s purpose and telos is the Delighting Mode: Jesus speaks in order that his joy may be in the disciples and their joy may be full. The movement from Speaking to Delighting in this entry precisely enacts John 15:11 — the words create the joy, and the joy is the fullness toward which the words were ordered. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 62:5 — “For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.” The DW being “pregnant with Innumerable Joys” that overflow in delight over the soul it has established in its Dominion corresponds to the nuptial rejoicing of Isaiah 62: the joy is relational and spousal, arising from the mutual recognition of the creature as the completion and beloved of the DW’s creative work. Affective/meditative

Wisdom 11:20 — “Yes and without these they might have fallen by a single breath, being pursued by Justice, and scattered abroad by the breath of your power; but you arranged all things by measure, number, and weight.” The distinction between the DW-soul who is “in the Order” and the human-will soul who is “in the disorder” corresponds to Wisdom’s theology of creation as order: the DW established the creature’s place in the measured, numbered, and weighed arrangement of creation, and the creature who lives in the DW occupies her created position. Disorder (the human will’s domain) is the violation of this divinely measured structure. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 14:33 — “for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.” The divine ground of the Order/disorder distinction: God’s own nature is ordered (not confused), and the DW’s Dominion in the soul is the creature’s participation in this divine order. The human will’s disorder is the contradiction of God’s own nature, which is why it constitutes “Our continuous shame.” Direct doctrinal parallel

The Divine Will as Gatherer: Light that Heals the Creature’s Disabilities

“My Will is the Gatherer of all Its Works; in Its Light It hides everything; with Its Light It defends them and places all Its Works in safety… If she is blind, by dint of Light It gives her vision; if she is mute, by dint of Light It wants to give her Speech. The Light takes her from all sides, and gives her Hearing if she is deaf; if crippled, It Straightens her up; if she is ugly, by dint of Light It renders her Beautiful.”

Isaiah 35:5–6 — “Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame man will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing; for waters will break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.” This is the load-bearing prophetic anchor for the entry’s healing catalogue. The DW’s healing Light addresses the precise four disabilities named in Isaiah 35 — blind, deaf, lame (crippled), and mute — in the same order. The DW’s Gathering activity through Light is the fulfillment of this messianic restoration promise applied to the interior creature rather than the physical body: the soul rendered blind, deaf, crippled, and mute by the human will is restored by the same healing power Isaiah proclaimed. Typological

Matthew 11:5 — “the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.” The same healing catalogue appears in Jesus’s messianic self-identification: blind, lame, deaf. The DW’s healing of the spiritually disabled creature is the extension and interiorization of the messianic activity that Jesus names as the signature of the Kingdom’s presence. Typological

Luke 4:18–19 — “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” The DW’s specific work of restoring sight to the spiritually blind and straightening the spiritually crippled enacts the Lukan mission statement of Jesus in its interior register: the same anointed mission extended through the DW into the creature’s disabled soul. Typological

John 17:12 — “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. I have kept those whom you have given me. None of them is lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” “My Will is the Gatherer of all Its Works… It counts everything and loses nothing” enacts Christ’s own keeping formula from the high-priestly prayer. The DW as Gatherer is the interior continuation of the same protective fidelity: not one act, not one word, not one soul is lost to the DW’s guarding. Direct doctrinal parallel

Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.” The DW’s healing through Light addresses the brokenness caused by the human will — the blindness, deafness, muteness, lameness — with the same tender precision this psalm names: the broken creature is not abandoned but gathered and healed. Affective/meditative

Matthew 12:20 — “He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.” The DW’s patient healing work upon the “blind, mute, deaf, crippled” creature — its refusal to abandon the damaged work of its Creative Hands — corresponds to the Servant portrait: the DW does not discard the creature disfigured by her own will but gathers and restores her through the very instrument the damage resists. Typological

The Parable of the Mother and the Crippled Child: The DW’s Maternal Mission Through All Centuries

“Such has the creature rendered herself by doing her will—blind, mute, crippled. Our Will cries over her with Tears of ardent Light of Our Love… More than mother, It will place at her disposal Its Capitals of Light… As tender Mother, Loving and Vigilant of the Work of Her Hands… She will go around, not the whole world, but all centuries, in order to prepare and give the Powerful Remedies of Light that Vivifies, Transforms, Straightens and Embellishes; and only then will She stop, when She sees on Her Maternal lap, Beautiful as She issued it, the Work of Her Creative Hands, to make up for the many sorrows and enjoy it forever.”

Isaiah 49:15 — “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!” The entry’s explicit comparison between the DW and a mother caring for a crippled child enacts this Isaiah text: the human mother may lack the power to restore her child, but the divine Mother (the DW) surpasses all human maternal love precisely in the power and permanence of her care. The human mother’s love is real but limited; the DW’s is real and unlimited. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 66:13 — “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.” The DW’s maternal mode — “As tender Mother, Loving and Vigilant” — fulfills this Isaiah promise: the divine comfort surpassing human maternal comfort is precisely the DW’s Capitals of Light that accomplish what human maternal love cannot. The comfort of Isaiah 66 is the final restoration of the crippled child to the Mother’s lap. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hosea 11:3–4 — “Yet I taught Ephraim to walk. I took them by their arms, but they didn’t know that I healed them. I drew them with cords of a man, with ties of love; and I was to them like those who lift up the yoke on their necks; and I bent down to him and I fed him.” The DW going through all centuries to restore the creature to her original beauty corresponds to Hosea’s image of God as the parent who taught the child to walk and healed — precisely the parental healing that the crippled child needs — and who persists with cords of kindness despite being unrecognized. Typological

Isaiah 46:3–4 — “Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb. Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.” The DW naming itself as the one who “issued” the creature “to the Light” and will traverse “all centuries” until her restoration corresponds to this Isaiah declaration of total maternal bearing: from womb through old age, the divine “I have made” commits to the “I will carry and save.” The DW issued the creature and will not set her down until she is restored. Direct doctrinal parallel

Luke 15:20 — “He arose and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him.” The DW willing to traverse “all centuries” in order to see “on Her Maternal lap, Beautiful as She issued it, the Work of Her Creative Hands” corresponds to the father running across all distance: the divine patience across centuries, and the explosion of maternal joy at the restoration, are both present. The embrace at the end of the centuries-long mission is the Maternal-lap of the entry. Affective/meditative

Lamentations 3:22–23 — “It is because of the LORD’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.” The DW’s going through “all centuries” to prepare and give Remedies — the absolute constancy of this maternal persistence — corresponds to Lamentations’ affirmation that steadfast love does not exhaust itself across time. It is precisely the DW’s inexhaustibility that makes the centuries-long mission possible: new mercies for every century, every creature, every stage of restoration. Affective/meditative

The Cathedra, the Knowledges, and the Divine Archives: Nothing Lost

“Are the many Knowledges on My Will perhaps not Remedies? Each Manifestation and Word that I speak is a Fortress that I place around the weakness of the human will; it is a Food that I prepare; it is a Bait, a Taste, a Light, to make them Reacquire the lost Sight. Therefore, be attentive and do not lose anything of what My Will manifests to you, because in due time everything will be needed—nothing will go lost. Do you think It does not take into account even just one Word of what It says? It counts everything and loses nothing; and if in your soul It has formed Its Cathedra in order to deposit Its Truths, however, the Primary Cathedra It keeps reserved within Itself as the Greatest Treasure that belongs to It… if you lose any Word or Manifestation that belongs to It, It already keeps the Original within Itself, because what regards My Divine Will is of Infinite Value, and the Infinite cannot disperse, nor is it subject to dispersing; on the contrary, jealous, It preserves Its Truths in the Divine Archives.”

John 16:12–13 — “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.” The structure of the Primary Cathedra reserved within the DW — the truths beyond what the creature can yet receive, preserved until the creature is ready — maps onto this Johannine disclosure. Jesus Himself holds truths not yet communicated; the Spirit will guide into all truth in due time. The “in due time everything will be needed” of this entry is the Johannine “appointed time” for the full disclosure. Christological/Trinitarian

John 6:39 — “This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.” “It counts everything and loses nothing” is the divine-will formula for the preservation of the souls given to Christ; in this entry it is extended to the preservation of every word and manifestation deposited in the Cathedra. The salvific “nothing lost” of John 6 is enacted here at the level of divine self-communication: souls are not lost, and neither are any of the words by which the DW forms itself in souls. Direct doctrinal parallel

Habakkuk 2:2–3 — “The LORD answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” “In due time everything will be needed — nothing will go lost” corresponds precisely to Habakkuk’s divine instruction: the written vision is preserved because it is destined for a specific appointed time, and that time will arrive. The Knowledges on the DW are fortresses for the appointed hour; the writing is the vessel for the future urgency. Typological

Isaiah 30:8 — “Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever.” The DW’s instruction to “be attentive and do not lose anything of what My Will manifests to you” enacts this prophetic commission: the Cathedra Luisa bears is precisely this book to stand as a witness for the future time. The urgency of the commission and the futurity of its purpose are identical in both texts. Typological

Malachi 3:16 — “Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name.” The “Divine Archives” in which the DW preserves the Original of every word and manifestation corresponds to this book of remembrance: the divine record-keeping is not administrative but relational — God attends to every word spoken in his presence and records it in archives that nothing erases. Affective/meditative

Colossians 2:3 — “in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.” The “Primary Cathedra” reserved within the DW as “the Greatest Treasure that belongs to It” corresponds to Colossians’ identification of Christ as the hiddenness in which all wisdom and knowledge are kept. The inexhaustible reserves of the DW’s self-knowledge are the primary treasury from which the secondary Cathedra in Luisa’s soul draws: the creature’s Cathedra is a real but partial access to what is fully held only in the divine interior. Christological/Trinitarian

Romans 11:33 — “Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!” The Primary Cathedra reserved within the DW, inaccessible even to the highest creature, corresponds to the depth Paul contemplates in Romans 11: the inexhaustible interiority of the divine knowledge that exceeds all creaturely capacity and cannot be drawn out entirely into any created Cathedra, however faithful. Affective/meditative

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The absence of Hogan’s commentary means Stage One identifications stand without comparative calibration. Four biblical axes dominate the entry’s theological imagination. The Johannine creative-Word axis (John 1:1–3; Genesis 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Isaiah 55:10–11) is the doctrinal ground of the Speaking Mode: the DW creates within the soul because it participates in or proceeds from the eternal creative Word. The messianic-healing axis (Isaiah 35:5–6; Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:18–19) is load-bearing: the entry’s specific catalogue of disabilities — blind, mute, deaf, crippled — maps directly onto the prophetic promise and its Gospel fulfillment, placing the DW’s Gathering and healing Light within the Christological healing tradition and establishing the interior creature as the site of ongoing messianic restoration. The divine-maternal axis (Isaiah 49:15; Isaiah 66:13; Hosea 11:3–4; Isaiah 46:3–4; Luke 15:20) provides the governing affective register for the latter portion of the entry: the Mother-and-crippled-child parable draws on the fullest range of Isaiah’s maternal imagery for God, and the DW’s mission through “all centuries” is the sustained enactment of the divine maternal fidelity Isaiah names as exceeding human maternity. The Pauline-mystical axis (Galatians 2:20; Romans 8:14; 1 Corinthians 15:28) grounds the Dominating Mode’s claim that the creature becomes co-dominator: Paul’s theology of indwelling, Spirit-leading, and the eschatological all-in-all provides the doctrinal frame for what the entry presents as the DW’s operative mode in the possessed soul. The three modes — Dominating, Speaking, Delighting — form a formal triadic sequence not precisely covered by any prior tracking item, constituting the entry’s most structurally distinctive doctrinal contribution.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 30 — January 17, 1932 “Dominating, Speaking and Delighting Modes of the Divine Will. How Heaven remains behind. Victory of God and Victory of the creature. The Divine Will, Gatherer of Its Works. Example of a mother who cries over her crippled child.”

No Hogan commentary is available for this entry. The synthesis proceeds on Stage One identifications alone. The two-stream integration structure is noted in each section where it would normally apply; the absence of Hogan’s commentary means that load-bearing status is assessed on internal grounds rather than by convergence.

The Interminability of the Divine Will and the Pilgrim’s Fiat

The opening reflection occupies the entry’s affective ground. Luisa’s experience of always finding herself at the beginning of the DW’s Interminable Sea — despite extended traversal — is not a report of spiritual failure but a participation in the structure of divine eternity itself. Psalm 90:4’s compression of a thousand years to a single watch is the temporal framework: from within God’s eternal present, creaturely duration does not register as progress through the divine being. Sirach 1:2’s rhetorical question on the inexhaustibility of wisdom’s days provides the Wisdom tradition’s form of the same claim.

The epistemological register of 1 Corinthians 13:12 — knowing the vowels now, consonants in glory — maps the Interminability onto Paul’s explicit pilgrim-knowledge structure. This is not ignorance but structural partiality: full knowledge is the creature’s eschatological inheritance, and the vowel/consonant formulation is among the more precise mystical renderings of the mirror-dimly / face-to-face distinction in the corpus.

The exile-longing (Philippians 1:23) and the threefold Fiat (Luke 22:42) are in tension and resolution simultaneously. The longing is real and Pauline; the conformity is total and Christological. The threefold repetition of “Fiat! Fiat! Fiat!” mirrors the Gethsemane structure of repeated surrender, not once but until surrender is complete. The DW’s response — “I want your Heaven to be My Divine Will” — closes the tension by displacing exile rather than eliminating longing: the Fatherland is given in advance, within the DW itself.

The Dominating Mode: Dominion Extended Through Every Faculty

The Dominating Mode is the entry’s first formal stage in the DW’s operative sequence. Its biblical ground is heavily Pauline. Galatians 2:20 provides the most precise doctrinal parallel: the DW identifies with the creature and “wants her to Dominate along,” which is exactly Paul’s “no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” — simultaneous agency without the erasure of creaturely selfhood. The creature is not absorbed but co-opted into a higher dominion.

Romans 8:14 (being carried by the Spirit as the mark of divine sonship) and 1 Corinthians 15:28 (God all in all as eschatological completion) together establish the pneumatological and eschatological registers of the Total Dominion claim. The DW’s Dominion extending to “the littlest motion” is the pilgrim-state form of what 1 Corinthians 15 describes as the final state of all creation: God all in all, but experienced in the present creature as Dominion mode rather than eschatological completion.

Colossians 1:13 provides the transfer-language for the Light that dispels darkness and puts enemies to flight: the creature is moved from one domain to another through the DW’s conquering activity. The “Kiss of Dominating Peace” (Philippians 4:7) marks the distinctive character of this conquest: it is a peace surpassing understanding precisely because it is not brokered but given, not earned but enrapturing. The peace is the sign that the DW’s Dominion has landed; it is not a feeling but an ontological state.

The combination of Colossians 1:13 and 2 Corinthians 10:5 illuminates the interior/exterior structure of the Dominating Mode: the transfer from darkness to Kingdom (Colossians, exterior-structural) and the taking-captive of every thought (2 Corinthians, interior-operative) together describe a total conquest that leaves no faculty of the creature outside the DW’s reach — which is exactly what “even the littlest motion” names.

Heaven Remaining Behind: The Conquering Work in the Pilgrim Soul

The claim that “Heaven remains behind in the face of the Dominion of My Will in the heart of the pilgrim creature” is among the entry’s most arresting theological statements. Its biblical frame is composite. 2 Corinthians 5:6–8 establishes the structural reason: the pilgrim soul is still “at home in the body” and therefore still the site of becoming; the DW’s conquering work is the ongoing form of what is complete in the glorified saints. This is not a demotion of Heaven but a specification of where the DW’s creative activity is still operative.

Hebrews 12:1–2 provides the spatial image: Heaven as the cloud of witnesses standing behind the pilgrim soul whose race is still being run. “Heaven remains behind” is the Hebrews structure read from the DW’s perspective — the saints watch because they have finished; the DW runs because the race is ongoing. The identity of the runner is the DW, not merely Luisa.

Revelation 3:21 (co-enthronement as the fruit of conquest) names the eschatological telos toward which each Victory moves. The creature who “becomes the Winner of Our Divine Will in her acts” is accumulating what Revelation describes as the inheritance of conquest: to sit on the throne with Christ. Each DW-act in the pilgrim is a step in this enthronement, and Heaven is “behind” precisely because the enthronement is not yet complete.

1 Corinthians 13:10 — when the perfect comes, the partial passes away — frames the theological principle underlying the entire section. The saints are the partial-made-perfect; the pilgrim soul is the partial in the process of being perfected. This is the structural reason why the DW has works to do in the pilgrim that it does not have in Heaven: the partial is the site of the DW’s ongoing creative and conquering activity.

The Speaking Mode: The Creative Word of the Divine Will

The Speaking Mode is the entry’s most theologically dense section. The DW’s Creating-by-Word is explicitly modeled on Genesis 1 (“Word by Word, almost as It did in the Creation of the universe”), making the creation of the soul’s interior a second creation enacted through the same divine speech. Genesis 1:3 is therefore not background but structural parallel: the same speech act, the same creative authority, the same light-from-darkness movement.

John 1:1–3 provides the Christological ground that elevates this from analogy to participation: the DW speaks creatively because it is, or proceeds from, the eternal Word through whom all things were made. The entry’s “each of Its Words is a Creation” is not hyperbole but a claim about the DW’s nature as participatory in the creative Word. 2 Corinthians 4:6 closes the loop: God who said “Let light shine out of darkness” has now shone in human hearts — the Genesis speech act is the paradigm for the Speaking Mode’s interior light-creation.

Isaiah 55:10–11 contributes the prophetic warrant for the Speaking Mode’s efficacy: the DW’s Creative Word does not return empty but accomplishes its purpose. The words are not proposals but creative acts; Light, Sweetness, Strength, Peace, and Knowledges are brought into existence, not merely offered. Hebrews 4:12 adds the depth-dimension: the word penetrates to the division of soul and spirit, meaning the Speaking Mode’s creation occurs at the most interior levels of the creature, not only at the level of cognition or affect.

Colossians 2:3 establishes the inexhaustible treasury from which the Speaking Mode draws: all treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ. The DW’s capacity to create “many Heavens, Seas of Riches, Varieties of Beauty” through speaking corresponds to the sheer excess of what Colossians names as the hidden treasury. The Speaking Mode draws on what cannot be exhausted.

Matthew 16:26 (the soul surpassing the universe in value) grounds the DW’s creative extravagance: the reason the DW does not hold Its Words back once Dominion is secure is that the soul costs more than all it creates in the speaking. The investment is proportionate to the value of the creature.

The Delighting Mode: Mutual Joy, Feast, and the Order of the Soul

The Delighting Mode completes the triadic sequence: Dominating → Speaking → Delighting. Its biblical register is primarily prophetic and wisdom-oriented. Zephaniah 3:17 (God exulting over the beloved with singing) is the most direct warrant for the DW delighting “together with” the creature: divine rejoicing is not a passive response to the creature’s joy but an active, operative presence that accompanies and amplifies. John 15:11 establishes the sequence: the Speaking Mode’s words were spoken precisely so that joy might be full — the Delighting Mode is the telos of the Speaking Mode, not a separate stage but its completion.

Isaiah 62:5 (the bridegroom rejoicing over the bride) places the Delighting Mode in the nuptial register: the joy is relational and spousal, arising from the mutual recognition of beloved and lover. The DW is “pregnant with Innumerable Joys” — its delight is not a response to the creature’s virtue but an attribute of its own nature that finds its proper object in the creature who has received its Dominion and its Word.

The Order/disorder distinction receives its most important biblical grounding from Wisdom 11:20 (all things arranged by measure and number and weight) and 1 Corinthians 14:33 (God not of confusion but of peace). The DW-soul “in the Order” is the creature occupying her divinely measured position in creation; the human-will soul “in the disorder” has violated the divine measurement. The claim that the latter constitutes “Our continuous shame of Our Creative Work” is the sharpest statement of the CDS-1 two-track doctrine in Volume 30: not merely different grades of sanctity but the difference between the creature fulfilling her purpose and contradicting it.

The Divine Will as Gatherer: Light that Heals the Creature’s Disabilities

The Gatherer section is the entry’s most Christologically concentrated movement. The five-disability catalogue (blind, mute, deaf, crippled, ugly) maps directly onto Isaiah 35:5–6’s messianic restoration promise and Matthew 11:5’s messianic self-identification: blind, deaf, lame, mute. The correspondence is exact in three of the four terms (blind, deaf, lame/crippled, mute), establishing the entry’s healing imagery as the deliberate interior fulfillment of the prophetic messianic expectation. The DW’s Gathering through Light is the ongoing enactment of the messianic healing mission within the creature rather than upon the physical body.

Luke 4:18–19 (the Lukan mission statement citing Isaiah 61) confirms this: the Spirit’s anointing of Jesus for healing the blind and freeing the oppressed is the same mission the DW enacts through Light. The anointing is extended through the DW into every creature who has been disabled by her own will.

John 17:12 (guarding them so that not one is lost) and John 6:39 (losing nothing of all that has been given) together establish the Gatherer identity at its most precise: the DW’s Gathering is the interior continuation of Christ’s keeping from the high-priestly prayer. Not one act, not one word, not one soul is dispersed by the DW’s guarding. Matthew 12:20’s Servant portrait (not breaking the bruised reed) adds the tender dimension: the disabled creature is not abandoned but gathered with precisely the care that refuses to crush what is fragile.

The Parable of the Mother and the Crippled Child: The DW’s Maternal Mission

The Mother-crippled-child parable constitutes a sustained biblical event: the DW assumes the role that Isaiah’s divine-maternity texts assign to God. Isaiah 49:15 establishes the foundational claim: the DW surpasses human maternal love not in kind but in power — the human mother has the love but not the capacity to restore; the DW has both. Isaiah 66:13 identifies the DW’s maternal mode as the fulfillment of the divine-comfort promise; Isaiah 46:3–4 establishes the total temporal scope: from womb through “all centuries.”

Hosea 11:3–4 provides the developmental-parental register: God as the one who taught Israel to walk and healed — precisely the parental activity most needed for a crippled child — and who persists despite being unrecognized. The DW going through “all centuries” to prepare Remedies is the sustained form of Hosea’s cords of kindness: not a single act of healing but an ongoing maternal persistence that the creature’s unrecognition cannot exhaust.

Luke 15:20 (the father running across all distance to embrace the returning son) maps onto the end of the DW’s maternal mission: the “only then will She stop, when She sees on Her Maternal lap, Beautiful as She issued it, the Work of Her Creative Hands” is the divine parent’s arrival at the embrace. The centuries of preparation culminate in this final act of maternal recognition and joy.

Lamentations 3:22–23 (steadfast love never ceasing, mercies new every morning) provides the governing temporal warrant for a mission through all centuries: the love that does not exhaust across the mornings of all time is the same love that does not exhaust across all centuries of preparation. The DW’s maternal persistence is structurally identical to the Lamentations steadfast love: not despite suffering but through and within it.

The Cathedra, the Knowledges, and the Divine Archives: Nothing Lost

The closing section presents a two-Cathedra doctrine: the secondary Cathedra formed in Luisa’s soul as the deposit of communicated truths, and the Primary Cathedra reserved within the DW as the Greatest Treasure no creature can fully access. This structure maps precisely onto John 16:12–13: Jesus holds truths the disciples cannot yet bear; the Spirit of truth will guide into all truth at the appointed time. The DW’s “in due time everything will be needed” is the Johannine appointed time for the full disclosure.

John 6:39 and John 17:12 together establish the preservation principle: the divine will does not lose what has been given, and Christ guards so that nothing is lost. In this entry the formula is extended from souls to words: not one manifestation, not one word of the DW is lost, whether or not the creature retains it, because the Primary Cathedra holds the Original. The DW’s archival fidelity is an attribute of its nature (the Infinite cannot disperse), not merely a policy.

Habakkuk 2:2–3 and Isaiah 30:8 together ground the written-and-preserved character of the Knowledges as destined witness: the writing is for the time to come, the vision for its appointed arrival. The Cathedra Luisa bears is not merely personal spiritual nourishment but a prophetic deposit awaiting its hour of maximum necessity — “in due time everything will be needed” is Habakkuk’s “it hastens to its end—it will not lie.”

Colossians 2:3 (all treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ) and Romans 11:33 (the depth of divine wisdom unsearchable) establish the Primary Cathedra’s theological character: the DW reserves within itself what Colossians identifies as the ultimate treasury of hidden wisdom. No created Cathedra, however full, is the whole; the Original exceeds every derivative. This is the source of the DW’s serene confidence that nothing is truly lost: what the creature may fail to retain, God has already preserved in the archive from which the deposit was drawn.

Synthesis Conclusion

Dominant biblical imagination: This entry operates primarily within the Johannine creative-Word tradition (John 1:1–3; Genesis 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Isaiah 55:10–11), the Isaianic messianic-healing tradition (Isaiah 35:5–6; Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:18–19), and the divine-maternal tradition of Second Isaiah (Isaiah 49:15; Isaiah 66:13; Isaiah 46:3–4). The Pauline mystical tradition (Galatians 2:20; Romans 8:14; 1 Corinthians 15:28) provides the doctrinal infrastructure for the Dominating Mode. These traditions converge on a single theological arc: the DW actively creates, heals, and restores the creature through a sequence of operative modes that constitute the full biblical history of divine-creaturely relationship enacted within a single soul.

Most load-bearing scriptural traditions: The Isaiah 35:5–6 / Matthew 11:5 healing-catalogue correspondence is the most structurally precise identification in the entry: the exact catalogue of the creature’s disabilities (blind, mute, deaf, crippled) maps onto the messianic healing promise and its Gospel fulfillment, establishing the DW’s Gathering as the ongoing interior enactment of the Kingdom’s messianic signature. The John 1:1–3 / Genesis 1:3 / 2 Corinthians 4:6 triangle is the most theologically fundamental: the Speaking Mode’s claim that each DW word is a creation is grounded in the Christological identity of the creative Word, and 2 Corinthians 4:6 closes the circuit by identifying the interior light-creation as the same Genesis act performed now within the heart. The Isaiah 49:15 / Isaiah 46:3–4 / Hosea 11:3–4 cluster is the most affectively and temporally comprehensive: together they establish the DW’s maternal mission through all centuries as the full biblical theology of divine maternal persistence.

Findings of highest theological significance: First, the three-mode formal sequence (Dominating → Speaking → Delighting) constitutes a new doctrinal structure that has no precise precedent in the corpus to this point: the DW’s operative activity within the possessed soul is formally staged, each mode enabling the next, with the Delighting Mode as the eschatological telos of the whole sequence. Second, the Primary/secondary Cathedra distinction — the DW holding its own Original within itself while the creature holds the deposit — is among the most precise statements of the DW’s archival nature in the corpus and may constitute a new doctrinal register within the NDW-1 arc or a distinct candidate item. Third, the creature as the “Winner of Our Divine Will in her acts” combined with “Heaven remains behind” constitutes the entry’s most theologically provocative claim: the pilgrim soul, precisely because she is still a pilgrim, is the site of the DW’s ongoing creative Victory in a way that the completed saints in Heaven are not — the partial is the active form of the perfect’s becoming.

30-1932-01-17

DMC-1 — new candidate (Divine Will Modes in the Creature): The entry formally names three sequential operative modes of the DW within the possessed soul: Dominating Mode (“now It takes on the Dominating Mode”), Speaking Mode (“once My Divine Will has secured Its Total Dominion in the creature, It takes on Its Speaking Mode”), and Delighting Mode (“It passes from the Speaking Mode to the Delighting Mode”). These are technically named, sequential, and mutually enabling: Dominion precedes and enables Speaking; Speaking enables Delighting. No prior tracking item covers this formal triadic sequence of the DW’s operative stages within the creature. Opening as candidate DMC-1 (Divine Will Modes in the Creature); watching for second appearance to determine whether this is a sustained doctrinal structure or a single-entry elaboration.

PDW-1 — probable advance: “Our only Feast and Happiness that We have upon earth is the soul who lets herself be possessed by the Dominion of My Supreme Will. In her, Our Word, Our Life, Our Joys, find a place.” This is a strong PDW-1 register — the DW’s exclusive earthly feast and happiness is the soul possessed by its Dominion. Consistent with prior PDW-1 appearances in Volumes 29–30; the “only Feast and Happiness” formula parallels the creation-center-as-sole-purpose register of October 20, 1931.

CDS-1 — probable advance: “one who lets herself be dominated by the human will, is in the disorder, and is Our continuous shame of Our Creative Work” — the DW-soul named as “in the Order” and the human-will soul as “in the disorder” with the specific vocabulary of shame of the Creative Work. The Order/disorder axis is a new formal register for CDS-1’s two-track doctrine: not merely different degrees of sanctity but the difference between the creature occupying her divinely measured position and contradicting it.

NDW-1 — probable advance, Primary Cathedra / Divine Archives register: “the Primary Cathedra It keeps reserved within Itself as the Greatest Treasure that belongs to It… if you lose any Word or Manifestation that belongs to It, It already keeps the Original within Itself… jealous, It preserves Its Truths in the Divine Archives.” The DW as authoritative keeper and preserver of its own truths, holding the Original of every word communicated to Luisa, is an NDW-1 advance of significant scope: the DW is not only narrator and speaker but archivist, holding the primary record from which the secondary Cathedra in the creature draws. This may be the most formally doctrinal NDW-1 register in the corpus —

ATF-1 — probable appearance: The Interminability content (“even if I should walk for centuries, I would always find myself at the beginning”) and the Speaking Mode’s always-new creativity (“Varieties of Beauty” perpetually fresh from each Creative Word) both deploy ATF-1’s governing principle. Count continues pending registry verification.

FVT-1 — no new doctrinal register: The entry’s opening “Fiat! Fiat! Fiat!” constitutes Luisa’s personal conformity-under-longing rather than a formal FVT-1 doctrinal register (Jesus teaching on the Fiat Voluntas Tua as an operative vehicle for the Kingdom). No new FVT-1 diary-text appearance. First entry since the January 12 Kingdom-as-FVT-telos appearance.
