Trinitarian Bond Doctrine
The doctrine that the DW soul living in the Divine Will maintains whole the three Trinitarian bonds between God and creature — the bond of Creation between Creator and creature, the bond of Redemption between Redeemer and redeemed, and the bond between Sanctifier and sanctified — which the Divine Will seals simultaneously, rendering the soul inseparable from God: “My Will seals all these bonds and renders the creature inseparable from Me,” this sealing rendered visible as three streams of light running from the soul’s heart to all created things (Creation-bond), to all Christ did and suffered (Redemption-bond), and to the Sacraments (Sanctification-bond). Distinct from CDS-1 (continuous vs. intermittent sanctity) and DWS-1 (seal-impression on the soul): TBD-1 concerns the Trinitarian structural grounds for the DW soul’s inseparability. (E)
