Merit-by-Will-Intent
The doctrine that apostolic merit accrues from the will’s identification with the divine scope rather than from quantifiable outcomes — the soul is rewarded “depending on whether your will identified itself with Mine, wanting to benefit all” (1 Timothy 2:4-6: God’s will for all to be saved through the one Mediator; Romans 5:18-19: one act of righteousness flowing to justification for all), so that the soul who writes an apostolic instrument at the Will’s direction continues generating increasing celestial glory after death through each subsequent use by souls on earth (Daniel 12:3: those who turn many to righteousness shine like the stars forever; 2 Corinthians 3:18: from glory to glory), the will’s post-mortem apostolate extending the merit-principle beyond death because the Will’s intent rather than the doer’s active presence is the measure of ongoing merit.
