DW Primacy Doctrine
The doctrine that the soul living in the Divine Will has primacy over everything and all acts of creatures — she is first in love before the Creator and all others come second, third, or fourth according to the intensity of their love — because she inhabits the prime act of the One who is first by nature; her primacy is structural and derivative rather than competitive or displacing, and its fullest historical instance is Mary, who holds primacy “by right” as the one who never gave life to her own will from the first instant of her Conception.
