Divine Life as Hope
The doctrine that the divine life dwelling in the soul as “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27) is itself the substance of hope — not hope for an absent future but hope as the present indwelling Life (Romans 8:24-25; Hebrews 6:19 as the anchor entering the veil) that sustains the soul in the prolonged waiting of Psalm 119:81.
