Will-Union for Grace
The doctrine that grace passes only when the giver’s will and the receiver’s will are united: God’s will to give is persistent and total (Matthew 23:37: “how often would I… but you were not willing”) but the gift cannot pass when the receiver’s will refuses — “how many times my grace is suffocated, and my Blood rejected and trampled upon” (Hebrews 10:29) — since even the Blood enclosing all goods (Ephesians 1:7) requires the bilateral will-union to be received (Revelation 3:20; John 5:40; 1 Thessalonians 5:19).
