Free Will Dignity
The VIP doctrine that God preserved human free will even at the cost of sin, chastisement, and soul-loss, because without free will the creature would be like “a foreign son in someone else’s home” — unable to work alongside God and thus unworthy of divine love; free will is God’s intentional constitutive gift (Sirach 15:14-17; Deuteronomy 30:19) enabling genuine love (1 Corinthians 13:3: compelled giving is not love), authentic merit (Matthew 25:20-21), and sonship through co-working (Galatians 4:6-7; Genesis 1:26-27; Revelation 3:20).
