The doctrine that true love toward God requires the soul-in-the-divine-will to render not merely love but the complete catalogue of filial acts for all creatures — loving for all, repairing for all, suffering for all, thanking for all, praising for all, adoring for all, and respecting the holy law for all — so that in that one person God finds all the good and contentment he was to find in all; modeled on Christ’s single representative act reaching all (Romans 5:18-19; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15) and enacted through the soul’s perpetual priestly intercession (Hebrews 7:25; Revelation 5:8; Matthew 22:37-40; Colossians 1:24).
