36-1938-08-12 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 36 — August 12, 1938 “When the creature enters into the Divine Volition, heaven abases itself and the earth elevates itself in order to give each other the kiss of peace. Love of God in manifesting the truth. How all things become life. How all created things are members of Jesus. Diversity of love.”

STAGE ONE — Independent Biblical Identification

Heaven Lowers, Earth Rises: The DW Act as Cosmic Kiss of Peace

“You must know that as the creature enters into Our Volition in order to form her act, heaven abases itself and the earth elevates itself, and they meet together; what happy meeting! Heaven feeling itself transported on earth by the Creative Strength of the Divine Fiat, they kiss the earth, that is the human generations, and at whatever cost they want to give to them that which they possess, in order to content the Divine Volition that has transported it on earth, because He wants to reign in everyone; the earth, feeling itself elevated to heaven, they feel an unknown strength that drags them to good, a celestial air that imposes itself upon them, that makes them breathe a new life. An act in My Will gives of the incredible, these acts will form the new day, the human generations will feel themselves renewed, rejuvenated in good through means of them.”

Psalm 85:10–11 — “Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.” The most precisely parallel scriptural image for the entry’s heaven-and-earth dynamic: righteousness descending from the sky (heaven lowering) and faithfulness rising from the ground (earth elevating) to kiss each other — the cosmic kiss of peace enacted in each DW act. Typological

Revelation 21:1–3 — “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, … husband. I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” The eschatological meeting of heaven and earth that Revelation 21 names as the final fulfillment is enacted in miniature in each DW act: heaven transported to earth, the dwelling place of God established among human generations. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 1:9–10 — “making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.” The anakephalaiosis: the “happy meeting” of heaven and earth in each DW act is a micro-expression of the divine plan to unite all things in Christ. Christological/Trinitarian

Matthew 6:10 — “Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The Our Father as the precise petition for what each DW act accomplishes: the Kingdom coming as heaven lowers and earth rises, the Will done on earth as in heaven. Direct doctrinal parallel

Acts 2:2–4 — “Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.” The Pentecostal “unknown strength, celestial air, making all breathe new life” corresponds to the DW act’s cosmic effect on human generations: the same heavenly force — celestial air imposing itself, a new breath entering — first enacted at Pentecost and now enacted through each DW act. Typological

Isaiah 45:8 — “Rain, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it.” The complementary vertical movements — heaven showering down, earth opening upward — parallel the entry’s lowering and rising. The “new day” that DW acts form corresponds to the salvation-bearing fruit that Isaiah envisions when heaven meets earth. Typological

Luke 2:14 — “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.” The Nativity hymn names the two poles whose meeting each DW act enacts: glory in the highest (heaven) and peace on earth — “the kiss of peace” the entry names as the meeting’s content. Affective/meditative

Truths as Suitors: God’s Love in Manifesting Divine Will

“When We must manifest a Truth that regards Our Will, first We love it in Ourselves, We facilitate it, We adapt it to the human intelligence, so that the creature succeeds easily to understand it and to make it real life; We outfit it with Our Love, and then We make it known as a suitor of love that wants to give itself to her — as Life that feels the need that wants to form itself in her. But this doesn’t satisfy Us: We purify the human intelligence, We invest it with Our Light, We renew it, so that it knows Our Truth, kisses it, encloses it in herself, and gives it all liberty to form its Life — remaining transformed in the Truth itself. Therefore every Truth of Ours carries Our Divine Life in the creature, suitor, that loves and wants to be loved… Without knowledge the ways are closed, the communications broken, and We remain as the God distant from the creature.”

John 1:14 — “The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The Incarnation as the supreme instance of God “adapting a Truth to human intelligence”: the eternal Truth who is the Son took on creaturely form so that human intelligence could receive Him. The entry’s teaching that God adapts each truth mirrors the Word’s Incarnational condescension — every truth about the DW is a small incarnation of divine life into creaturely form. Christological/Trinitarian

John 6:63 — “It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.” Words/truths as spirit-and-life: the entry’s “every Truth carries Our Divine Life in the creature” is the precise doctrinal expansion — each word is spirit and life because it carries a Divine Life into the one who receives it. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The living-and-active character of God’s word as truth: each truth about the DW is “alive” in the sense the entry describes — carrying Divine Life, piercing, transforming, purifying intelligence from within. Direct doctrinal parallel

John 17:17 — “Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.” The sanctifying power of divine truth: each truth carries a Divine Life into the creature because the truth itself is God’s word — “remaining transformed in the Truth itself” is being sanctified in the truth that God is. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 2:9–12 — “those who love him.” But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. … the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” The Spirit’s disclosure of divine depths is what God does for each truth about His Will: first loved in Himself, then disclosed through the Spirit to the one prepared to receive it — “We purify the human intelligence, We invest it with Our Light.” Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 12:2 — “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” The purification and renewal of intelligence that each truth effects: the entry’s “We purify the human intelligence, We invest it with Our Light, We renew it” is the DW-specific enactment of what Paul names as the transformation through mind-renewal. Direct doctrinal parallel

Proverbs 8:30–31 — “then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him, rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.” Wisdom delighting in the children of man as the archetypal image for the truth as suitor: divine Wisdom has always been the suitor who wants to be with the children of man, delighting in them, seeking to be received. Typological

Hosea 4:6 — “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children.” The destruction caused by absence of knowledge is the negative form of the entry’s “without knowledge the ways are closed, communications broken, and We remain as the God distant from the creature.” The knowledge of divine truth is not a luxury but a condition for the ways remaining open. Typological

Everything Becomes Divine Life: Creation Continues in DW Souls; The Creature Is Life

“One who lives in the Divine Will and works in Him — everything becomes Divine Life in her. Possessing My Fiat, His Creative Virtue, all that which she does — if she thinks, if she speaks, if she works, if she walks, if she loves — He unfolds His Life and thinks, speaks, works, walks and loves, forming the working, speaking Creation; the creature serves to continue His Creation — indeed, to do things more beautiful yet. Hence the Creation didn’t end, but continues still in the souls that live in Our Volition… The creature is Life — she is not a work like the Creation; therefore We feel an irresistible Love of forming Our Lives in her.”

John 1:3–4 — “All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.” Creation continues in DW souls because the DW’s creative virtue is the same Word through which all things were originally made: the creature living in the DW participates in the creative force by which the original creation came to be — the Word’s creative Life unfolds again in each of her acts. Christological/Trinitarian

2 Corinthians 5:17 — “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” The creature in the DW as a continuing new creation: the entry’s “the creation continues in souls who live in Our Will” is the DW-specific depth of Paul’s “new creation” — she doesn’t just receive new life but becomes the ongoing site of God’s creative work. Direct doctrinal parallel

John 14:12 — “Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.” The “greater works” as what the DW creature enacts: not merely repeating Jesus’s works but continuing and completing Creation — “to do things more beautiful yet” — through the DW’s creative virtue. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 2:10 — “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.” The creature as God’s continuing workmanship: not a finished piece but an ongoing creative act — “the creation continues in souls who live in Our Will.” She is His workmanship still being made. Direct doctrinal parallel

Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” The DW living within the creature’s every act (thinking/speaking/working/walking/loving in her acts) is what Paul describes from the experiential side: not her acts but Christ’s acts through her acts. The DW-specific form of this formula is the most fully enacted expression of this verse in the corpus. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 1:16–17 — “For by him all things were created … and in him all things are held together.” The DW creature’s acts as continuing creation: since all things are created through and in the Word, and the DW is the creature’s participation in the Word, her acts continue what the Word’s creative power began — Creation held together by the same one who holds it together in her. Christological/Trinitarian

John 15:5 — “I am the vine. You are the branches. … apart from me you can do nothing.” The contrast between creative DW acts and “painted pictures” (without life, cannot receive or give life): the vine/branch structure grounds both states — abiding produces the creative life; apart from the vine, the branch cannot produce. Direct doctrinal parallel

The Eucharistic Descent: Created Things Carried as Members into the Creature

“How beautiful it is when I descend sacramentally into hearts in My Will, I find everything in Him, I find My Queen Mother and I feel re-given the glory — as if anew I became Incarnate… since My Will circulates as blood and beats in all created things, therefore they are united with Me as members that part from Me, and remain in Me; so that all that which I did on earth, and all created things, some act as arms for Me, some as feet, some as heart, some as mouth and they love Me and glorify Me in an infinite way… All created things are My members… Therefore descending sacramentally I carry together with Me the created things as My members; with the enchanting scenes of so much variety and multiplicity My Love is as an army I put inside of the creature in order to love her and to make her love Me.”

1 Corinthians 12:12–13 — “For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.” The most formally exact scriptural parallel for “all created things are My members”: the body-of-Christ doctrine here extended to all of creation — not only baptized humans but all created things as members of Christ whose Will circulates in them as blood. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 1:22–23 — “He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” The fullness (pleroma) of Christ filling all in all: all created things are expressions of His fullness, which grounds their member-relation — they are filled by the one who fills all. Christological/Trinitarian

Colossians 1:15–17 — “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created … and in him all things are held together.” All things created in Christ and held together in Him: the doctrinal ground for all created things being His members — they were made through Him and remain in Him as the body’s members in the body. Christological/Trinitarian

1 Corinthians 11:24–26 — “When he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.” … For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” The Eucharistic descent as the mechanism of the entry’s most distinctive doctrine: Jesus descending in the sacrament carries all His members (all created things) with Him into the creature, placing an “army of love” inside her — the Eucharist as the vehicle through which all of creation’s love is poured into the DW soul simultaneously. Direct doctrinal parallel

Luke 1:43 — “Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” Elizabeth’s exclamation at the Visitation corresponds to the DW creature receiving Jesus in the Eucharist and finding His Mother there: “I find My Queen Mother and I feel re-given the glory as if anew I became Incarnate” — the Eucharistic descent as a renewed Incarnation within the DW creature, parallel to the Incarnation’s entry into Mary. Typological

Psalm 19:3–4 — “There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,” Created things have a “mouth” (arms, feet, heart, mouth) even without verbal speech: Psalm 19’s voiceless-yet-speaking declaration is the most precise anchor for the claim that all created things glorify God through their distinct loves — wind blowing, sea murmuring, air breathing the distinct “I Love you.” Direct doctrinal parallel

Psalm 148:3–10 (paraphrase) — Stars, wind, fire, sea — each with their distinct praise: the entry’s “wind blowing distinct loves,” “sea murmuring diversity of love,” and “air carrying I Love you in every breath” are the specific creaturely activation of what this psalm summons. Affective/meditative

Acts 17:27–28 — “that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’” The omnipresence of God’s love in every created thing as the ground for His “distinct I Love you” in every breath: the creature literally breathes within the Life that is God, and God breathes His love-whisper into every breath. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 5:8–9 — “Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,” The Lamb bringing all creation’s gathered praise (the golden bowls) into the creature’s Eucharistic encounter: the “army of love” placed inside the creature is the earthly form of the heavenly bowls — creation’s love gathered and presented within the one who receives Him. Affective/meditative

Sub-movement — Varieties of Love in the Sun’s Light:

“She can give Me the love I had in creating the sun; how much specialty of love doesn’t that light contain! She is filled with so many various and innumerable effects of sweetness, of colors, of perfumes; in every effect there is a distinct love of Mine… My Love that languishes, that wounds, that enraptures; My Love that burns, that sweetens everything, that re-gives Life to everything; My Love that takes from all sides the creature and carries her as in His arms.”

Psalm 104:1–4, 14–15 (paraphrase) — The sun causing the earth to produce grass, wine, oil, and bread: the variety of the sun’s effects as distinct loves is grounded in the Psalm’s catalog of the sun’s life-giving works — each one a distinct form of God’s care for the creature. Affective/meditative

Malachi 4:2 — “But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.” The sun of righteousness with healing in its wings corresponds to the entry’s “My Love that re-gives Life to everything” through the sun’s light — the healing, restoring dimension of the love that races in the light. Typological

Song of Songs 2:3–6 — “As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banquet hall. His banner over me is love. Strengthen me with raisins, refresh me with apples; for I am faint with love. His left hand is under my head. His right hand embraces me.” The languishing-that-is-love (“I am sick with love”) corresponds to the entry’s “My Love that languishes, that wounds, that enraptures” — the Song’s sick-with-love formula is the lyrical register for this dimension of the sun’s love-varieties. Affective/meditative

STAGE TWO — Comparison with Hogan’s Commentary

CORRESPONDENCES

1 Corinthians 12 (one body, many members) identified by both. Hogan: “I want to give you 1 Corinthians 12… all of us who are baptized into Christ actually form one single body with him — here he is saying that everything he has created… is all part of him.” Stage One uses 1 Corinthians 12:12–13 specifically (the formal one-body-many-members statement) and extends it to all created things. The extension is the same; Hogan applies verse 1 onward while Stage One targets the body-passage at verses 12–13.

Psalm 19 identified by both for the created things’ “voice.” Hogan: “Psalm 19 says that even though they don’t have a voice, their voice goes out to the whole earth all the time.” Stage One identifies Psalm 19:3–4 for the voiceless-yet-speaking dimension of created things as members with a “mouth.”

DEVIATIONS

Hogan focuses exclusively on the Eucharistic third message, explicitly declining to comment on the first two messages. The entire first message (heaven lowers/earth rises) and the second message (truths as suitors) are outside Hogan’s commentary scope for this entry. Stage One identifies both messages and develops their biblical resonances independently.

For the Eucharistic-members doctrine: Stage One emphasizes Colossians 1:15–17 and Ephesians 1:22–23 as the Christological ground for creation’s member-relation. Hogan emphasizes 1 Corinthians 12 as the ecclesial-body parallel extended to all creation. The two streams are complementary: Stage One supplies the creation-Christology grounding; Hogan supplies the ecclesiological-body analogy.

For the “distinct I Love you” in every breath: Stage One identifies Acts 17:27–28 (in him we live and move and have our being) as the ground. Hogan identifies the Ruach Adonai (breath of God) as the Hebrew theological background — “that’s his name, my breath, my very breath… the name for the Holy Spirit is Ruach Adonai, the breath of God.” This is a significant devotional-theological observation not present in Stage One: the name of the Holy Spirit as Breath supplies the Trinitarian dimension behind each “distinct I Love you” in the air.

ADDITIONS — HERS

Ruach Adonai (breath of God) as the Hebrew theological background for “I send in every breath a distinct I Love you”: the name of the Holy Spirit as Breath provides the Trinitarian grounding — each breath is not merely a physical act but an encounter with the Spirit who is the divine Breath. Scriptural background: Genesis 2:7; John 20:22; Ezekiel 37:9 (all previously identified in Stage One of the August 6 entry, but here Hogan names the Hebrew title).

Maria Valtorta reference (Mary saying Jesus’s only need is love): pastoral-hagiographic context illuminating the entry’s “How hard and sorrowful it is to love and not to be loved.” Not Scripture but devotional tradition.

Matthew 7:16 (implicit — “by their fruits you shall know them”): Hogan says “by their fruits you will know them” while commenting on the sun’s varied products as expressions of its love. Stage One does not use this verse; it supplies the fruit-identification principle for discerning the love within created things’ effects.

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

Hogan explicitly focuses on “paragraph four, which is a second message,” bypassing the first two messages without comment. No VIP designation. VIP total remains at 49.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The combined analysis reveals four biblical traditions at primary load across the entry’s three distinct messages.

The cosmic-reconciliation tradition (Psalm 85:10–11; Revelation 21:1–3; Ephesians 1:9–10; Matthew 6:10; Acts 2:2–4) carries the heaven-lowers/earth-rises movement — entirely outside Hogan’s commentary. This tradition unanimously names the meeting of heaven and earth as the eschatological goal being enacted per DW act: the Psalm’s kiss of peace, Revelation’s dwelling place, the anakephalaiosis of Ephesians, the Kingdom petition of Matthew 6:10, and the Pentecostal new-breath of Acts 2.

The Wisdom-and-Word-disclosure tradition (John 1:14; John 6:63; Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 8:30–31; 1 Corinthians 2:9–12; Romans 12:2) anchors the truth-as-suitor movement — also entirely outside Hogan’s commentary. The truth’s character as a suitor who loves and wants to be loved is grounded in the Incarnational condescension (John 1:14), the life-bearing character of words (John 6:63), and Wisdom’s eternal delight in the children of man (Proverbs 8:30–31).

The creation-Christology tradition (Colossians 1:15–17; Ephesians 1:22–23; John 1:3–4; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 14:12) anchors both the “creation continues in DW souls” movement and the “all created things are His members” movement. The combined two traditions are complementary: Stage One’s Colossians-Ephesians grounding and Hogan’s 1 Corinthians 12 body-ecclesiology together establish the member-doctrine from both the cosmic (creation Christology) and ecclesial (body of Christ) angles.

The Eucharistic presence tradition (1 Corinthians 11:24–26; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Luke 1:43; Psalm 19:3–4; Acts 17:27–28) carries the Eucharistic descent movement that Hogan develops exclusively. The Eucharist as the vehicle through which Jesus carries all created things as members into the DW creature simultaneously — placing an “army of love” inside her — is the most formally Eucharistic CVT-1 statement in the corpus and a significant advance in the theology of sacramental presence.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 36 — August 12, 1938 “When the creature enters into the Divine Volition, heaven abases itself and the earth elevates itself in order to give each other the kiss of peace. Love of God in manifesting the truth. How all things become life. How all created things are members of Jesus. Diversity of love.”

Heaven Lowers, Earth Rises: The DW Act as Cosmic Kiss of Peace

The entry opens with one of the corpus’s most spatially vivid images of the Kingdom-coming dynamic: when the creature enters the DW to form her act, heaven lowers itself and earth rises and they meet in a “happy meeting” — heaven kissing the earth (the human generations), eager to give them what it possesses. The earth, feeling the elevation, receives an unknown strength, a celestial air that makes all breathe new life. These DW acts will form “the new day,” renewing and rejuvenating human generations.

Psalm 85:10–11 provides the most precisely parallel scriptural image: “Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky.” The Psalmist’s cosmic kiss — righteousness descending from above, faithfulness rising from below, meeting in a kiss of peace — is the biblical form of the entry’s heaven-and-earth meeting. The “kiss of peace” named in the entry’s title is the content Psalm 85 envisioned.

Revelation 21:1–3 names this meeting as the eschatological goal — “the dwelling place of God is with man” — whose present enacted form in each DW act the entry describes. Every DW act is a micro-fulfillment of what Revelation 21 names as the final reconciliation of heaven and earth. Matthew 6:10 (“your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”) is the petition for precisely this: the Kingdom comes as heaven lowers and earth rises, the Will done on earth as in heaven. Ephesians 1:9–10 names the plan being enacted: the anakephalaiosis — uniting all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth.

Acts 2:2–4 provides the typological Pentecostal parallel for the “unknown strength, celestial air that makes all breathe new life”: the same heavenly force — a sound from heaven, wind filling the house, new breath entering — enacted first at Pentecost and now through each DW act. The creature’s single DW act is a personal Pentecost radiating into human generations.

Hogan does not comment on this first message. The biblical resonances are entirely from Stage One and disclose the TGF-1 register in its most Pentecostal and eschatological form.

Truths as Suitors: God’s Love in Manifesting Divine Will

The second message introduces a formally new designation for the truth-communication doctrine: each truth about the Divine Will is a “suitor of love” — prepared by God in three stages before being sent. First, God loves the truth within Himself. Second, He facilitates and adapts it to human intelligence — “outfitting it with His love.” Third, He sends it as a suitor who loves and wants to be loved, then purifies the intelligence to receive and be transformed by the truth. “Every Truth carries Our Divine Life in the creature, suitor that loves and wants to be loved.”

John 1:14 (the Word became flesh) supplies the Christological ground: the Incarnation is the supreme instance of God adapting a Truth to human intelligence — the eternal Truth who is the Son condescending to creaturely form. Each truth about the DW is a small incarnation of divine life into creaturely intelligibility. John 6:63 (the words I have spoken are spirit and life) makes explicit what carrying a Divine Life means: each word/truth is spirit-and-life because it carries the Life that God first loved within Himself.

Hebrews 4:12 (the word of God is living and active, piercing to the division of soul and spirit) names the truth’s interior penetrating power: each truth not only informs but pierces, purifying and renewing the intelligence it enters. Romans 12:2 (the renewal of the mind) names the destination: the purification of intelligence through truth-reception is what Paul calls the transformed mind. Proverbs 8:30–31 (Wisdom delighting beside God, rejoicing in the children of man) provides the archetypal image of truth as suitor — divine Wisdom has always been the suitor who wants to be with the children of man, delighting in them.

The “God-constrained-to-silence” dimension continues from August 6: “Without knowledge the ways are closed, the communications broken, and We remain as the God distant from the creature.” Stage One identified Isaiah 65:12 and Matthew 13:13–15 as the OT and NT anchors for this divine lament; Hosea 4:6 (destroyed for lack of knowledge) supplies the prophetic consequence. The ways being “closed” and God “remaining distant” despite being inside and outside the creature simultaneously is the doctrinal form of what the prophets named as the tragedy of a beloved who cannot receive what love is offering.

Hogan does not comment on this second message. The truth-as-suitor doctrine is a significant CWD-1 and NDW-1 advance identified entirely by Stage One.

Everything Becomes Divine Life: Creation Continues in DW Souls

The third movement draws the doctrinal consequence of the DW’s creative virtue: everything the DW creature does — thinking, speaking, working, walking, loving — has the DW unfolding within it, thinking through her thoughts, speaking through her speech, working through her works. “He forms the working, speaking Creation; the creature serves to continue His Creation — indeed, to do things more beautiful yet.” The creation didn’t end; it continues in DW souls.

The most theologically distinctive statement of this movement: “The creature is Life — she is not a work like the Creation.” Creation is God’s work; the DW creature is God’s Life. The distinction between work and life is ontological: works are external products; life is interior generativity. God feels an “irresistible love of forming Our Lives in her” because she is the kind of entity (life, not work) that can receive and house divine life.

John 1:3–4 anchors the continuity of creative force: all things were made through the Word, and the Life that was in the Word was the light of men. Creation continues in DW souls because the DW’s creative virtue is the same Life through which the original creation came to be. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (the new creation) names what this looks like from the creature’s side: she is a new creation, the continuing site of God’s creative work. John 14:12 (“greater works than these will he do”) is the explicit Gospel warrant for doing “things more beautiful yet” — the DW creature participates in the “greater works” Jesus promised.

John 15:5 (the vine and branch; apart from me you can do nothing) grounds the contrast: the DW-animated creature produces the creative life; the non-DW creature produces “painted pictures that cannot receive life, nor give it, nor produce any good.” The painted-picture image — recurrent across Volume 36 — names the sterility that results from works separated from Life.

The Eucharistic Descent: Created Things Carried as Members into the Creature

The fourth and final movement — Hogan’s exclusive focus — is the entry’s most formally Eucharistic teaching: when Jesus descends sacramentally into a heart that is in His Will, He finds everything there, including His Queen Mother, and “feels re-given the glory as if anew He became Incarnate.” All His works surround Him, honoring and loving Him. “My Will circulates as blood and beats in all created things, therefore they are united with Me as members… All created things are My members; the sky and every star is a distinct love of Mine… Therefore descending sacramentally I carry together with Me the created things as My members; with the enchanting scenes of so much variety and multiplicity My Love is as an army I put inside of the creature in order to love her and to make her love Me.”

1 Corinthians 12:12–13 provides the ecclesial-body parallel Hogan identifies: the one body with many members extended to all of creation — not only baptized humans but every created thing as a member of Christ whose Will circulates in them as blood. Colossians 1:15–17 and Ephesians 1:22–23 supply the creation-Christology grounding: all things created through and in Christ (Colossians), the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians). The two streams are complementary: Stage One’s Christological grounding explains why all created things are His members; Hogan’s 1 Corinthians 12 explains what kind of relationship members have to a body.

The Eucharistic mechanism (1 Corinthians 11:24–26) makes the entry’s most formally distinctive claim intelligible: Jesus descending in the sacrament brings all His members with Him. The Eucharist is not merely the reception of Jesus but the reception of Jesus together with the entire created order as His body — an “army of love” placed inside the DW creature simultaneously. The creature’s heart becomes the site of cosmic encounter: all heaven, all creation, all Jesus’s Incarnate acts gathered in the one sacramental reception.

Luke 1:43 (Elizabeth’s exclamation at the Visitation) provides the most formally exact typological parallel for Jesus finding His Mother in the Eucharistic descent: the re-Incarnation within the DW creature corresponds to the original Incarnation within Mary. When Jesus descends into the creature in His Will, He re-enacts the Visitation — finding His Mother already there, receiving the glory of Incarnation again.

Psalm 19:3–4 grounds the member-doctrine’s vocal dimension: created things have a “mouth” — stars, wind, sea, air each murmuring, blowing, breathing distinct loves — even without verbal speech. Their voice goes out through all the earth (Psalm 19) even though there is no speech, confirming that the army of love Jesus places inside the creature is an articulate army: each member has a distinct love-word it speaks. Hogan identifies this Psalm connection directly; Stage One confirms and extends it.

The sun’s varieties of love receive their most extended development: sweetness, colors, fragrances, the languishing love, the wounding love, the enrapturing love, the burning love, the sweetening love, the life-giving love — each a distinct act of God’s love racing in the light. Malachi 4:2 (the sun of righteousness rising with healing in its wings) and Psalm 104:1–4, 14–15 (the sun’s life-giving effects) together ground the sun as the most comprehensive single image for the inexhaustible variety of divine love.

Hogan’s Ruach Adonai observation supplies the Trinitarian depth behind “I send in every breath a distinct I Love you”: the Holy Spirit’s Hebrew name as the Breath of God means that every human breath is an encounter with the Person who is God’s Breath — each inhale is God breathing His love-name into the creature, each exhale is the creature breathing God’s love-name back into creation.

Synthesis

Four biblical traditions carry the primary theological load across this three-message entry.

The cosmic-reconciliation tradition (Psalm 85:10–11; Revelation 21:1–3; Ephesians 1:9–10; Matthew 6:10; Acts 2:2–4) — developed entirely by Stage One, outside Hogan’s scope — anchors the heaven-lowers/earth-rises movement as the most formally TGF-1-eschatological and Pentecostal image of the Kingdom-coming dynamic in Volume 36. The DW act as a kiss of peace between heaven and earth, forming “the new day,” positions each DW act as a micro-Pentecost preparing the era of the Kingdom.

The Wisdom-and-Word-disclosure tradition (John 1:14; John 6:63; Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 8:30–31; 1 Corinthians 2:9–12) — also entirely outside Hogan’s scope — anchors the truth-as-suitor movement. The formal designation of divine truths as “suitors of love” who are first loved within God, adapted to creaturely intelligence, and sent bearing Divine Lives is a significant advance in both CWD-1 and NDW-1, giving the doctrine of the writings its most intimate personal form.

The creation-Christology tradition (Colossians 1:15–17; Ephesians 1:22–23; John 1:3–4; 2 Corinthians 5:17), complemented by Hogan’s 1 Corinthians 12, carries both the “creation continues in DW souls” movement and the “all created things are His members” movement. The creature-as-Life (not merely a work) is the most formally ontological statement of the CDS-1/ERP-1 nexus: she is the entity in which creation’s continuation takes the form of Divine Life rather than divine work.

The Eucharistic presence tradition (1 Corinthians 11:24–26; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Luke 1:43; Psalm 19:3–4; Acts 17:27–28) carries the fourth movement exclusively through Hogan’s focus. The Eucharist as the vehicle through which Jesus carries all created things as members into the DW creature simultaneously — a cosmic army of love deposited within the creature at each sacramental reception — is the entry’s most formally distinctive doctrinal advance and the corpus’s most fully Eucharistic CVT-1 statement.

The most theologically significant finding of the combined analysis is the “all created things are My members, carried with Me into the DW creature at each Eucharistic descent” doctrine — which fuses CVT-1 (God’s love-deposits in every created thing) with the Eucharistic theology to produce a new conclusion: the creature who receives Jesus in the DW receives simultaneously all created things as His members, with all their distinct love-varieties, the whole “army of love” placed inside her to love and be loved. The three-message structure of the entry makes this conclusion the doctrinal completion of what the two prior messages prepared: the heaven-earth meeting (preparing the conditions), the truth-as-suitor (preparing the intelligence to receive), and the Eucharistic army (delivering the fullness of what heaven brings to earth).

36-1938-08-12

TGF-1 — heaven-lowers/earth-rises register; most formally Pentecostal Kingdom-preparation statement: “As the creature enters into Our Volition to form her act, heaven abases itself and the earth elevates itself, and they meet together; what happy meeting! Heaven… they kiss the earth… the earth, feeling itself elevated to heaven, they feel an unknown strength that drags them to good, a celestial air that imposes itself upon them, that makes them breathe a new life. An act in My Will… will form the new day.” The DW act as a micro-Pentecost — celestial air, unknown strength, new life breathed into human generations — is the most formally Pentecostal TGF-1 Kingdom-preparation register in the corpus. Primary anchors: Psalm 85:10–11; Revelation 21:1–3; Acts 2:2–4; Matthew 6:10.

CVT-1 — Eucharistic-members corpus advance; most formally sacramental CVT-1 statement: “Since My Will circulates as blood and beats in all created things, therefore they are united with Me as members… All created things are My members… Therefore descending sacramentally I carry together with Me the created things as My members; with the enchanting scenes of so much variety and multiplicity My Love is as an army I put inside of the creature.” This is the corpus’s most formally Eucharistic CVT-1 statement: the Eucharist as the vehicle through which Jesus carries all created things as His members into the DW creature simultaneously — the “army of love” placed inside the creature at each sacramental reception. Primary anchors: 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Colossians 1:15–17; 1 Corinthians 11:24–26; Luke 1:43; Psalm 19:3–4.

CWD-1 / NDW-1 — truth-as-suitor designation; new formal register: “Every Truth of Ours carries Our Divine Life in the creature, suitor, that loves and wants to be loved.” God first loves the truth within Himself, adapts it to human intelligence, outfits it with His love, then sends it as a suitor. Hogan does not comment on this message. The “suitor” designation is formally new for both CWD-1 (the value and character of the Writings/Truths) and NDW-1 (each Truth as a vehicle of divine disclosure carrying Divine Life). Governing anchors: John 1:14; John 6:63; Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 8:30–31.

ERP-1 — creation continues in DW souls; “to do things more beautiful yet”: “The creature serves to continue His Creation — indeed, to do things more beautiful yet. Hence the Creation didn’t end, but continues still in the souls that live in Our Volition.” The DW creature as the continuation and completion of the original creation — producing “things more beautiful yet” than the original created order — is among the most formally complete ERP-1 / creation-continuation statements in the corpus. John 14:12 (“greater works than these will he do”) is the primary Gospel anchor.
