Universal Availability at the Cross
The doctrine that Christ chose crucifixion and being lifted up so that every soul seeking him could find him in whatever form she needs — as Teacher, Father, Doctor, Defender, Judge, Friend, Spouse, Advocate, or Priest — and that the nailing was deliberately chosen to “oppose nothing of what they want,” making him universally and totally available through his voluntary immobility (John 12:32: I will draw all to myself; Matthew 11:28-30; Philippians 2:6-8; Isaiah 53:7; Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:31-34; John 3:14-15; Isaiah 53:5).
