Divine Binding Obligation
The doctrine that when an upright heart asks to co-suffer what Christ suffers, it binds the divine Heart so powerfully that God contracts a debt to give “all of Myself” to that soul: “as many things as I do not give to it, so many thefts do I make from it” — since God has given Himself as gift to those who enter His salvific economy through co-suffering.
