36-1938-06-20 Biblical Resonance Analysis
Volume 36 — June 20, 1938 “One who Lives in the Divine Volition is in continuous communication with God. New Birth and Rising Love. How it gives Happiness and Joy to all. How Jesus Himself will become the Vigil Custodian of these Writings, the interest being all His own.”
STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION
Continuous Communication: Purifying Joy in the Divine Will
“Its Power raises me in Its Center; Its Love, embalming me, brings me Its Celestial air; Its Light Purifies, Embellishes, Transforms me, enclosing me in the range of the Divine Will, so that all is forgotten; so Great and so many are the Joys, so enchanting the scenes of the Supreme Being that one remains enraptured.”
“We are in continuous communication with the creature. We prepare for her New Joys for every New Act she does, to make her more and more Happy in Our Residence.”
Psalm 16:11 — “You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.” God’s own presence as the source of an inexhaustible fullness of joy — “so Great and so many are the Joys” — is the Psalmic foundation for the DW’s continuous communication producing new joy for every new act: the DW soul dwelling in the divine presence participates in the joy proper to that presence. Affective/meditative
John 15:11 — “I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.” The fullness of joy Jesus promises through His word — communicated through ongoing speech — directly corresponds to the entry’s “We prepare for her New Joys for every New Act”: every DW act receives a new communication of the joy that is proper to the divine life, and the joy grows toward fullness with each successive act. Direct doctrinal parallel
2 Corinthians 3:18 — “But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” The triple movement of “purifies, embellishes, transforms” in the opening sequence is the Pauline transformation into glory at its most physiologically detailed: the light of the DW performs what the Pauline text names as transformation from glory to glory. Direct doctrinal parallel
Philippians 4:4-7 — “Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!” Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” The peace and joy that “surpasses all understanding” — enabling the “ineffable gladness” of the entry’s opening — are the Pauline names for the DW joy that no worldly category can contain. The Pauline “always” anticipates the DW’s “continuous communication.” Affective/meditative
Actions in the Fiat Always in Act; Divine Life Rising Again Continuously
“The actions done in the Fiat remain always in the act of being done; Our Life Rises Again continuously; Our Love Ascends and, Investing everyone with Its Waves, calls all into that act, so that all would repeat it, and We hear the echo of them loving and glorifying us.”
1 Corinthians 15:20-22 — “But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruit of those who are asleep. … so also in Christ all will be made alive.” The Resurrection as the first-fruits event within which all subsequent “rising” participates provides the precise theological ground for “Our Life Rises Again continuously”: the DW soul’s acts in the Fiat draw their perpetual rising from the Resurrection that is never exhausted, never merely past. Christological/Trinitarian
Romans 6:4 — “We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.” The continuous walking in newness of resurrection life — not a single past event but an ongoing mode of existence — grounds “Our Life Rises Again continuously” as the DW’s structural participation in the Resurrection: each DW act re-enacts the rising into newness that the Resurrection established. Direct doctrinal parallel
Hebrews 7:25 — “Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.” The perpetual living and acting of Christ as intercessor — “always lives” — is the Christological anchor for DW acts that “remain always in the act of being done”: the creature’s DW act shares in the perpetual quality of Christ’s intercessory life, never ceasing, never concluded. Christological/Trinitarian
Revelation 14:13 — “‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” … for their works follow with them.” The deeds of the righteous following them beyond death — persisting beyond the moment of their performance — corresponds to the entry’s “actions done in the Fiat remain always in the act of being done”: the DW acts are precisely the deeds that “follow” not only in afterlife but in the eternal present. Typological
Hebrews 13:8 — “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The absolute immutability of Christ across all times is the Christological ground for the ATF-1 dimension of the DW act: the acts done in His Will share in the timelessness proper to His own eternal sameness — never merely “yesterday” but perpetually present. Direct doctrinal parallel
Angels and Saints Receiving Double Glory from DW Acts
“The Angels and the Saints are all attentive, and anxiously long for the act of the creature done in Our Will. Do you know why? Because in this way They receive Double Glory: the Glory of Heaven, and the New Glory, Joy and Happiness of the act done in My Fiat. How grateful they are to Me, and how much they Love the creatures that Redouble for them New Happiness and Endless Joys!”
Hebrews 12:1 — “Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,” The great cloud of witnesses as an attentive company watching the creature’s acts is the Hebrews figure most closely matched to “The Angels and the Saints are all attentive, and anxiously long for the act of the creature done in Our Will”: the same attentiveness Hebrews names is here disclosed as motivated by the saints’ own interest in receiving the double glory. Affective/meditative
Luke 15:7, 10 — “I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.” The angelic rejoicing at the creature’s righteous act is the Lukan foundation for the “New Glory, Joy and Happiness” the angels receive from the DW act: the joy heaven experiences at human repentance is intensified and elevated when the creature acts in the DW, producing not merely the joy of repentance but the “Double Glory” of a divine act occurring in the creature. Direct doctrinal parallel
Revelation 5:8 — “Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” The elders and living creatures holding the prayers of the saints as golden bowls before the Throne corresponds to the saints’ attentive longing for the creature’s DW act: the heavenly court participates in and gathers these acts because they are, in the Apocalyptic frame, the incense offered to the Lamb. Typological
1 Corinthians 12:26 — “When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” The organic law of the Body — one member’s honor redounding to all — provides the structural principle for the “Double Glory”: the creature’s DW act honors the divine life within her, and the entire Body of Christ in heaven and earth “rejoices together,” receiving the redoubled joy. Direct doctrinal parallel
The DW Soul Overflowing — No Fear, Love Follies
“There is no Good that does not come from her. Therefore, one who Lives in Our Will is not subject to discouragement or fear. Distrust just doesn’t find its way in, because the creature possesses everything. She feels as though she were the owner of everything and she takes what she wants. Her life is nothing other than Our Love and Will, to the extent that she even suffers Our same Love follies, and would be happy to give her life for anyone, to give Us the Glory of making Our Will known.”
Philippians 4:11-13 — “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content … I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The absolute sufficiency the Apostle describes — contentment independent of external circumstance — grounds the DW soul’s immunity to discouragement and distrust: she “feels as though she were the owner of everything” because she participates in the divine sufficiency that does not depend on created goods. Direct doctrinal parallel
1 Corinthians 1:18-25 (translation pending) — “For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God… God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise.” The “love follies” the DW soul suffers along with God have their Pauline ground in the logic of divine foolishness: the Cross was the supreme “love folly,” and the creature who participates in the DW participates in the same divine logic that makes folly the vehicle of omnipotence. Direct doctrinal parallel
Colossians 1:24 — “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly,” The willingness to give her life for anyone — “would be happy to give her life for anyone” — is the Pauline VSC-1 principle in its most evangelical form: suffering for the sake of others as the completion of Christ’s afflictions in the Body. Direct doctrinal parallel
Romans 8:28 — “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.” The absolute confidence the DW soul has — “she even takes what she wants” — rests on the Pauline certainty of Romans 8:28 at its most expansive: for one who lives entirely in the divine purpose, all things are already disposed toward good, and distrust has no foothold. Direct doctrinal parallel
The Writings as Testament of Love; Indestructible and Full of Divine Lives
“I could call them ‘Testament of Love’ which My Will does for the creatures. It donates Itself and calls them in Its Heritage, but with such supplicant, attractive, Loving modes that only the hearts of stone won’t be moved to compassion and won’t feel the need to receive such a Great Good. Therefore these Writings are Full of Divine Lives that cannot be destroyed. If anyone tried to do so, the same would happen to him as to one who would try to destroy Heaven… or, as to one trying to destroy the sun… or, as to another one would want to destroy the waters of the sea.”
Hebrews 9:15-17 — “For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it. For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.” The writings as a “Testament of Love” are anchored with particular precision in Hebrews 9’s theology of the new covenant as Christ’s testament: the Greek term diatheke carries both covenant and last-will-and-testament meanings, and the entry’s logic — the writings cost Jesus His Will that enters them “as Primary Life” — mirrors the Hebrews logic that the testament takes effect through the testator’s death. What the writings cost is precisely what makes them a testament. Direct doctrinal parallel
John 6:63 — “It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.” The Divine Words as living — “these Writings are Full of Divine Lives” — has its direct Johannine anchor here: the same quality of the spoken words of Jesus that makes them spirit and life makes the written words of the Fiat full of Divine Lives that cannot be subject to death. Direct doctrinal parallel
Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The living and active character of God’s word — never inert, never merely informational but always operative — grounds the indestructibility claim: a word that is living and active cannot be destroyed because destroying it would require extinguishing life itself. Direct doctrinal parallel
Isaiah 55:10-11 — “For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” The divine word that accomplishes its purpose regardless of opposition — returning to God not empty but laden with its fruit — is the Isaianic ground for the indestructibility of the writings: they “cannot be destroyed” because the divine word’s inherent fecundity and purposefulness cannot be extinguished. Direct doctrinal parallel
Luke 21:33 — “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.” The absolute inviolability of the divine words — outlasting heaven and earth themselves — is the most direct scriptural ground for the entry’s indestructibility claim. Jesus’s declaration governs the entire analogical structure (heaven, sun, sea all indestructible — and more so the divine word). Direct doctrinal parallel
Ezekiel 36:26 — “I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.” The “hearts of stone” that alone would resist the Testament of Love are exactly the hearts Ezekiel identifies as the object of the eschatological divine surgery: the writings are addressed to the very hardness they seek to replace, and the divine promise is that the stone will be removed. Typological
New Living and Speaking Creation; the Last Display of Love
“I can call this a New Living and Speaking Creation: it will be the last display of My Love to the human generation. You must know that, at each word I have you write on My Fiat, I Double My Love for you and towards those who will read them… I feel each one of My Words and the Palpitating Lives of the creatures who will know the Goodness of My Word, forming within themselves the Life of My Will.”
Genesis 1:1-3 — “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth… And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” The “New Living and Speaking Creation” directly invokes the first creation event: as the original Creation came into being through the speaking of God’s Word, the writings constitute a new creation event in which the creating Word speaks again, and Divine Lives come into being in those who receive it. Typological
John 1:1-4, 14 — “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The Johannine Prologue provides the deepest theological ground for “New Living and Speaking Creation”: the same Word through whom all things were created is the one speaking through the writings, and the “Life” in the Johannine sense (eternal, divine life) is precisely what the writings communicate. Christological/Trinitarian
Revelation 21:1-5 — “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, … away.” He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” The eschatological new creation — “I am making all things new” — is the Apocalyptic horizon within which the “New Living and Speaking Creation” is situated: the writings are the literary instantiation of the Revelation 21 new-creation declaration, specifically the moment when the enthroned One says “Write this down.” Typological
Hebrews 1:1-2 — “God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.” The eschatological character of the Son’s speaking — “in these last days” — provides the framework for “the last display of My Love”: the writings are the final and definitive speech of the divine Word to humanity, the “last days” communication surpassing all prior modes of speaking. Direct doctrinal parallel
2 Corinthians 5:17 — “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” The “new creation” as the outcome of union with Christ corresponds to the “New Living and Speaking Creation” that the writings enact: each reader in whom the writings form “the Life of My Will” becomes themselves a new creation, and the writings are the vehicle of that creaturely new-creation event. Direct doctrinal parallel
The Great Wheel of Light; Portent of Love
“These Writings came out of the center of the Great Sun of My Will, whose rays are Full of the Truths coming from this center, and embrace all times, all centuries, all generations. This great wheel of Light fills Heaven and earth, and, through Light, It knocks at every heart; praying, begging them to receive the Palpitating Life of My Fiat… Every Word can be called a ‘Portent of Love,’ one Greater than the other.”
Psalm 19:4-6 — “Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course. His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends. There is nothing hidden from its heat.” The sun’s circuit from one end of the heavens to the other — “there is nothing hidden from its heat” — is the Psalmic figure for the great wheel of light that fills heaven and earth: the DW writings move as the sun moves, reaching all times and all generations without remainder. Typological
Isaiah 60:1-3 — “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the LORD’s glory has risen on you! For … Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” The eschatological light that draws the nations — “nations shall come to your light” — corresponds to the great wheel of light “knocking at every heart”: the DW writings enact the Isaiah 60 vision, the light going out from its source to draw all peoples into the divine glory. Typological
John 1:4-9 — “In him was life, and the life was the light of men. … The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.” The true light that gives light to everyone — universal in reach, without restriction of generation or era — is the Johannine anchor for “This great wheel of Light fills Heaven and earth”: the writings are the vehicle of the same Light that “was coming into the world” in the Incarnation, now extended through time and generation. Christological/Trinitarian
Revelation 3:20 — “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.” The image of Christ knocking at the door — seeking entry to the heart — is the direct parallel to “through Light, It knocks at every heart; praying, begging them to receive the Palpitating Life of My Fiat”: the cosmic knock of the wheel of light is the eschatological extension of the Laodicean knock to every generation, the same supplicating mode (“praying, begging”). Direct doctrinal parallel
2 Corinthians 4:6 — “seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The creative light that shone at Genesis 1:3 now shining in human hearts — the same creative Word, the same divine light — grounds the “great wheel of Light” that came out of “the center of the Great Sun of My Will”: the writings carry the same creative illumination that God spoke at creation, now directed through light into every heart. Christological/Trinitarian
Malachi 4:2 — “But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.” The messianic sun of righteousness rising with healing — an image of universal reach and eschatological joy — is the prophetic prototype for the “center of the Great Sun of My Will” from which the writings radiate: the DW writings are the content of that solar arising, the rays “full of the Truths” that carry healing in their light. Typological
STAGE TWO — COMPARISON WITH HOGAN’S COMMENTARY
CORRESPONDENCES
“The actions done in the Fiat remain always in the act of being done” — both Stage One and Hogan identify this as the ATF-1 and DVB-1 dimension (actions perpetually in act, Our Life Rising Again). Hogan: “The actions done in the divine will are continuously in act… just as all the acts of Jesus’ life are continuous and they are available.” Stage One identifies Hebrews 7:25, Romans 6:4, 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, and Hebrews 13:8 for this movement. Hogan does not cite Scripture explicitly but identifies the Christological parallel (Jesus’s acts are continuous) that Stage One grounds in Hebrews 7:25. Both converge on the same doctrinal content; Stage One provides the scriptural anchors Hogan leaves implicit.
“Her life is nothing other than Our Love and Will” — Hogan explicitly identifies this as “the summary of the whole 36 volumes. Will and love.” Stage One did not flag this as a summary-of-volumes statement, but it aligns with Hogan’s consistently held hermeneutical principle (established from Volume 2 onward: “Divine will and love is the summary of the 36 volumes”). The convergence here is not on a Scripture citation but on a doctrinal weight-marker: Hogan’s summary designation makes this line a load-bearing doctrinal climax of the entry’s first movement.
“New Living and Speaking Creation… last display of My Love” — Both Stage One and Hogan identify this as the entry’s most theologically significant claim. Hogan: “That’s why he calls it a new speaking creation… it will be the last display of my love to the human generations is an unbelievable statement. The last one. In other words, God hasn’t anything else to tell us.” Stage One identifies Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1-4, Revelation 21:1-5, Hebrews 1:1-2, and 2 Corinthians 5:17. Hogan does not provide Scripture citations but confirms the theological weight, noting the comparison to Luisa specifically as the vessel suited for “unusual charm, affability, very sweet modes and very tender love.”
Indestructibility of the Writings — Both Stage One and Hogan identify the three analogies (heaven, sun, sea) as expressing absolute indestructibility. Hogan notes the “language being used here is actually very strong. The person who would try to destroy these writings will be destroyed.” Stage One anchors this in Luke 21:33, Isaiah 55:10-11, Hebrews 4:12, and John 6:63.
Revelation 3:20 — Both implicitly converge on this: Hogan does not cite it but reads “through Light, It knocks at every heart” without comment. Stage One identifies Revelation 3:20 as the direct scriptural parallel. No framing difference, as Hogan does not provide the scriptural identification.
DEVIATIONS
No significant deviating citations identified. Hogan’s commentary for this entry contains no explicit Scripture citations that contradict or diverge from Stage One’s identifications.

ADDITIONS — HERS
John of the Cross — Hogan explicitly cites John of the Cross by name: “John of the Cross picks this up in his writings, that the soul, once it has truly found the living union with God, it forgets itself, it forgets everything.” The mystical-theological tradition of self-forgetfulness in union is the spiritual context for “so that all is forgotten” in the entry’s opening. While this is not a Scripture citation, the reference identifies the entry’s opening as participating in the classical mystical theology of perfect union. The scriptural background of John of the Cross’s teaching is principally Galatians 2:20 (“it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”) and Philippians 1:21 (“for me to live is Christ”), which Stage One did not identify for this movement.
“Summary of the Whole 36 Volumes” — Hogan designates “Her life is nothing other than Our Love and Will” as “the summary of the whole 36 volumes.” This doctrinal weight-designation is not a Scripture citation but is theologically significant: it means the entry’s first movement climaxes at the Volume 2 governing principle (“Divine will and love is the summary of the 36 volumes”). The implicit scriptural summary is Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and John 14:23 together: the Shema’s command to love God with all one’s being, and Jesus’s promise of Trinitarian indwelling for one who loves and keeps His word. Stage One did not identify these for this specific line.
VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS
No explicit VIP designation, but Hogan marks the “New Living and Speaking Creation… last display of My Love to the human generation” with near-VIP elevation: “It will be the last display of my love to the human generations is an unbelievable statement. The last one. In other words, God hasn’t anything else to tell us. So, if this doesn’t bring us to our knees in surrender, nothing will.” The language “unbelievable statement” and “if this doesn’t bring us to our knees, nothing will” signals maximal elevation short of a formal VIP designation. The content elevated is the “last display” claim and the “New Living and Speaking Creation” designation.
STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS
The combined analysis reveals a two-movement entry whose first arc concerns the DW soul’s life in continuous communication (joy, transformation, double glory for the saints, love follies) and whose second arc concerns the writings as the New Living and Speaking Creation — the theological summit toward which the entire entry moves.
The most significant convergence is on the “New Living and Speaking Creation / last display of My Love” passage, where Stage One’s identification of Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1-4, Revelation 21:1-5, Hebrews 1:1-2, and 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Hogan’s near-VIP elevation together confirm this as the entry’s doctrinal apex. No single passage captures it entirely: the Genesis anchor establishes the creative-speech parallel; the Johannine anchor supplies the theology of the Word that creates through speech; the Revelation 21 anchor supplies the eschatological new-creation frame; and Hebrews 1:1-2 establishes the “last days” / “last display” character. All four are necessary components.
The “Testament of Love” designation finds its most precise scriptural anchor in Hebrews 9:15-17, where the entry’s own logic — the writings cost what the testator’s death costs — precisely mirrors the Hebrews theology that the new covenant is a testament that takes effect through the testator’s self-giving. Hogan does not develop this anchor; Stage One identifies it as theologically load-bearing.
Hogan’s summary designation (“the summary of the whole 36 volumes”) for “nothing other than Our Love and Will” adds doctrinal weight to the entry’s first movement that Stage One did not flag. The convergence on the entry’s second-movement apex and the Hogan-exclusive elevation of the first-movement climax together establish this entry as theologically significant across both arcs. The dominant traditions are Johannine Prologue (Word / Life / Light), Pauline eschatology (new creation, last days speech), and the Hebrews covenant theology (testament taking effect through the testator). The most load-bearing scriptural anchor across all movements is John 1:1-4, which grounds simultaneously the “New Living and Speaking Creation,” the “Full of Divine Lives,” the “wheel of Light,” and the continuous communication with which the entry opens.
Cross-Entry Synthesis
Volume 36 — June 20, 1938 “One who Lives in the Divine Volition is in continuous communication with God. New Birth and Rising Love. How it gives Happiness and Joy to all. How Jesus Himself will become the Vigil Custodian of these Writings, the interest being all His own.”
STAGE THREE — CROSS-ENTRY SYNTHESIS
Continuous Communication: Purifying Joy in the Divine Will
Psalm 16:11, John 15:11, 2 Corinthians 3:18, and Philippians 4:4-7 illuminate the opening movement from four complementary angles: the Psalmic fullness of joy proper to God’s presence (the DW as divine residence makes this joy available at every new act), the Johannine promise of full joy through ongoing communication (new joys prepared for every new act), the Pauline transformation into glory (purifies, embellishes, transforms as a continuous process rather than a single event), and the Pauline peace surpassing understanding (the name for the ineffable gladness the DW produces). Hogan’s observation that the purifying and transforming is “going on every single time we do an act in the divine will” — not a linear progression but a continuous re-occurrence — is confirmed by all four passages: each uses “fullness,” “surpasses,” or “all” to indicate that the divine communication is not graduated but complete at each occurrence.
The opening movement closes with Hogan’s summary designation: “Her life is nothing other than Our Love and Will” is “the summary of the whole 36 volumes. Will and love.” Stage One did not flag this as the summary claim; Hogan’s identification connects the entry directly to the Volume 2 governing statement. The scriptural ground that Hogan leaves implicit is the union of Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (loving God with all one’s being) and John 14:23 (Trinitarian indwelling as the gift to one who loves and keeps the word): the DW soul’s life as nothing other than Love and Will is precisely the complete fulfillment of the Shema’s command through the Johannine union. The Shema-plus-indwelling combination is the scriptural core of what the entry’s first-movement climax names.
Actions in the Fiat Always in Act; Divine Life Rising Again Continuously
1 Corinthians 15:20-22, Romans 6:4, Hebrews 7:25, Revelation 14:13, and Hebrews 13:8 together constitute the scriptural architecture for this movement. Hogan identifies the parallel to Jesus’s own acts being “continuous and available” — and the same for Mary’s acts — without citing Scripture. Stage One grounds this in the Resurrection tradition (1 Corinthians 15; Romans 6:4), the intercessory perpetuity of Christ (Hebrews 7:25), the persistence of righteous deeds (Revelation 14:13), and the Christological immutability (Hebrews 13:8).
The theologically decisive pairing: Hebrews 7:25 (“he always lives to make intercession”) and the entry’s “actions done in the Fiat remain always in the act of being done.” The creature’s DW acts share in the “always lives” quality of Christ’s intercessory existence: not preserved as memories or records but perpetually in act, as He is perpetually in act. The ATF-1 dimension (all times embraced, past and future absent) is what makes this possible: the acts do not “remain in act” through some external preservation mechanism but because they are enclosed within the divine life that itself never passes.
Angels and Saints Receiving Double Glory from DW Acts
Hebrews 12:1, Luke 15:7, 10, Revelation 5:8, and 1 Corinthians 12:26 illuminate the “double glory” movement. The convergence between Hogan’s pastoral reading (“the saints are working with us and praying for us and helping us to actually live more deeply in the divine will… they benefit hugely from our acts in the divine will”) and Stage One’s identification of the heavenly-court attention to the creature’s acts (Hebrews 12:1; Revelation 5:8) is strong.
The theologically most precise pairing: Revelation 5:8 and the saints’ longing for the creature’s DW act. The golden bowls of incense that the elders hold before the Lamb are the prayers of the saints — which is to say, the accumulated acts of the DW soul are precisely the golden-bowl contents that the heavenly court presents before the Throne. The “double glory” — the glory of heaven plus the new glory of the creature’s act — corresponds to the Revelation 5 structure in which the elders receive the saints’ prayers and present them to the Lamb, participating in both the eternal Throne-glory and the created-creaturely act that comes before it.
1 Corinthians 12:26 adds the organic dimension: “if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” The saints are not passive spectators of the creature’s double glory but organic participants in it; the Body’s law means the creature’s DW act genuinely redounds to their joy as members of the same Body.
The DW Soul Overflowing — No Fear, Love Follies
Philippians 4:11-13, 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, Colossians 1:24, and Romans 8:28 anchor this movement. The most theologically loaded conjunction: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 and “she even suffers Our same Love follies.” The ILY-1 arc in Volume 36 has been tracing the divine love strategies (stratagems, excesses, follies, tricks); here the doctrinal significance deepens: the creature who participates fully in the DW begins to participate not merely in the divine life but in the divine modus amandi — the mode of loving that from outside looks like foolishness. This is the ILY-1 doctrine at its most Pauline: the Cross was God’s supreme love folly, and the DW soul who participates in the DW participates in the same divine logic that makes the folly of the Cross the power of God.
Hogan does not address this connection explicitly. The conjunction of Colossians 1:24 (“filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ”) with “would be happy to give her life for anyone” establishes that the DW soul’s love-folly is simultaneously a VSC-1 act: the willingness to give one’s life for anyone is the Pauline filling-up of Christ’s afflictions in the Body. The love-folly and the victim-soul participation are not distinct acts but the same act seen from the divine side (ILY-1) and the creaturely side (VSC-1).
The Writings as Testament of Love; Indestructible and Full of Divine Lives
This movement constitutes the CWD-1 apex of the entry and a strong candidate for the corpus-apex of the CWD-1 doctrine. The three designations — “Testament of Love,” “Full of Divine Lives that cannot be destroyed,” and “New Living and Speaking Creation” — each require distinct scriptural anchors.
“Testament of Love” finds its most theologically precise anchor in Hebrews 9:15-17, where the new covenant is simultaneously a testament that takes effect through the testator’s death. The entry’s own internal logic makes this precise: “They cost Me My Will that enters these Writings as Primary Life… They cost Me as much as Myself.” The writings are a testament in the full Hebrews sense because they cost the testator what a testament costs, and they convey the inheritance — “calls them in Its Heritage” — that only the testator’s self-giving makes available. Hogan does not identify this anchor; it is Stage One’s most significant independent identification for this movement.
“Full of Divine Lives” is grounded by John 6:63 (“the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life”) and Hebrews 4:12 (“the word of God is living and active”): the Divine Lives within the writings are not separate entities deposited in them but the constitutive quality of words that are by nature life. The writings cannot be destroyed not because they are protected from outside but because to destroy a word that is life would require destroying life itself, which the divine life does not permit.
“Indestructibility” — the three analogies (heaven, sun, sea) — is governed by Luke 21:33 and Isaiah 55:10-11. The Luke 21:33 anchor is the most direct: heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not. The three analogies move from the largest created realities (heaven, sun, sea) up to the divine word, demonstrating that the word surpasses even the most indestructible created realities. Ezekiel 36:26 supplies the pastoral counterpoint: the “hearts of stone” that alone would resist are the ones God has already promised to remove, so even the last resistance will eventually yield.
New Living and Speaking Creation; the Last Display of Love
This movement is where Stage One and Hogan converge most powerfully in identifying the entry’s theological summit. Hogan’s near-VIP elevation (“an unbelievable statement… if this doesn’t bring us to our knees in surrender, nothing will”) and Stage One’s identification of the fullest cluster of New Creation passages (Genesis 1:1-3; John 1:1-4; Revelation 21:1-5; Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:17) together confirm this passage as the CWD-1 corpus apex.
No single scriptural passage is sufficient by itself. Genesis 1:1-3 establishes that the original creation occurred through the divine speaking — making the “New Living and Speaking Creation” a creative event of the same ontological order; John 1:1-4 identifies the Speaker as the eternal Word in whom is life, linking the writings’ “Living” character to the life that is in the Word; Revelation 21:1-5 supplies the eschatological new-creation frame and the specific command “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true” — the Apocalyptic authorization for precisely this kind of writing; and Hebrews 1:1-2 establishes the “last days” / “last display” character, marking the writings as the definitive speech surpassing all prior modes of divine communication.
The term “last display of My Love to the human generation” has the character of a formal doctrinal declaration: all of God’s prior communications — Law, Prophets, Incarnation, Redemption — were successive displays of love, but this is the final one, after which God has nothing further to give. This corresponds precisely to the Hebrews 1:2 eschatological speech-horizon: “in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.” The writings are the extension and completion of the Incarnate Son’s speaking, carrying His life into every generation.
2 Corinthians 5:17 adds the dimension Stage One identifies but Hogan does not: the readers who receive the writings become themselves new creations. The “New Living and Speaking Creation” is not merely an objective artifact but a transformative event that produces new creations in those it reaches. Every reader in whom the writings form “the Life of My Will” is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the “great wheel of Light” producing these new-creations across all generations is the “last display” precisely in the sense that no subsequent display is needed after this one has reached its eschatological fullness.
The Great Wheel of Light; Portent of Love
Psalm 19:4-6, Isaiah 60:1-3, John 1:4-9, Revelation 3:20, 2 Corinthians 4:6, and Malachi 4:2 form the scriptural cluster for the great wheel of light. The image unifies solar cosmology (Psalm 19:4-6 — the sun’s circuit from end to end), prophetic eschatology (Isaiah 60:1-3 — light drawing nations; Malachi 4:2 — sun of righteousness rising), Johannine theology (John 1:4-9 — true light giving light to everyone), and Apocalyptic pastoral (Revelation 3:20 — knocking at the door).
The most theologically concentrated pairing: Revelation 3:20 (“Behold, I stand at the door and knock”) and the entry’s “through Light, It knocks at every heart; praying, begging them to receive the Palpitating Life of My Fiat.” The Laodicean knock, addressed in Revelation 3 to a single church in danger of complacency, is here extended cosmically to every heart across all generations: the great wheel of light is the Revelation 3:20 knock scaled to the scope of “all times, all centuries, all generations.” The supplicating mode — “praying, begging” — identifies the same divine humility before the creature’s freedom that the Revelation 3:20 image contains: Christ knocking, not breaking down the door.
2 Corinthians 4:6 supplies the creative-illumination ground: “God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The writings come from the center of the Great Sun and carry the same creative light that God spoke at Genesis 1:3 — now aimed at every heart, the cosmological creative act becoming a personal revelatory event in each reader.
Synthesis Conclusion
The dominant biblical imagination at work in this entry is the Johannine theology of Word and Life (John 1:1-14; John 6:63) operating in eschatological mode, where the divine speaking that created all things at the beginning now speaks again in the writings as “New Living and Speaking Creation” — the “last display” that completes the arc from Genesis 1:3 through Hebrews 1:2 to Revelation 21:5.
The scriptural traditions most load-bearing for Luisa’s mystical framework in this entry are: the Johannine Prologue (Word, Life, Light — simultaneously the ground of the writings’ living character, the wheel of light’s universal reach, and the continuous communication the DW maintains); the Hebrews covenant-theology (the testament taking effect through the testator’s death — the most precise anchor for the “Testament of Love” designation); and the Pauline new-creation vocabulary (2 Corinthians 5:17; Revelation 21:1-5 — the writings as the vehicle of new creation in every reader).
The three findings from the combined analysis carrying the most theological significance: (1) the “Testament of Love” designation anchored in Hebrews 9:15-17 — the writings are formally a testament in the technical sense (the testator’s self-giving is what makes them effective), and this gives the CWD-1 doctrine its most precise juridical-theological foundation in the entire corpus; (2) the convergence of Revelation 3:20 (knocking at the door) with the great wheel of light knocking at every heart — the cosmic extension of the Laodicean knock to all generations identifies the writings as the vehicle by which Christ’s persistent petition to every human heart is enacted across time; (3) the ILY-1 / VSC-1 convergence at “she even suffers Our same Love follies, and would be happy to give her life for anyone” — the DW soul’s love-folly is simultaneously the participation in the divine mode of loving (ILY-1) and the filling-up of Christ’s afflictions in the Body (Colossians 1:24 / VSC-1), establishing that these two tracking items name the same reality from two different angles.

CWD-1 — triple-designation corpus apex; probable corpus-final apex of the doctrine: Three new formal designations in a single entry: (1) “Testament of Love” — the writings as the testament of the Divine Will, donating itself and calling creatures into its heritage, with the testamentary logic anchored in Hebrews 9:15-17 (the testament takes effect through the testator’s death, and the writings “cost Me My Will… cost Me as much as Myself”); (2) “New Living and Speaking Creation” — the writings as a new creation event of the same ontological order as Genesis 1, executed through the divine speaking Word (John 1:1-4); (3) “last display of My Love to the human generation” — the eschatological finality of Hebrews 1:1-2 (“in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son”) applied to the writings as the definitive communication after which God has nothing further to give. The three designations together constitute the most theologically elevated CWD-1 statement in the corpus. Hogan marks this passage with near-VIP elevation without a formal VIP designation: “an unbelievable statement… if this doesn’t bring us to our knees in surrender, nothing will.” Evaluate at v76 as probable corpus-apex of CWD-1.
ILY-1 — arc continuing; ILY-1 / VSC-1 convergence formally stated: “she even suffers Our same Love follies, and would be happy to give her life for anyone.” The ILY-1 signal (“love follies” / “Love keenness”) is present, confirming the arc’s continuation. Theologically significant: this is the first explicit statement in Volume 36 that the creature participates in the divine love-folly mode (not merely that God uses follies toward her, but that she suffers the same follies). The ILY-1 / VSC-1 convergence — identified in the CES as the willingness to give her life as simultaneously the divine love-folly mode (1 Corinthians 1:18-25) and the filling-up of Christ’s afflictions (Colossians 1:24) — deserves tracking: the two doctrines are disclosed here as naming the same creaturely act from two different angles.
ATF-1 — sixth sequential reactivation signal: “The actions done in the Fiat remain always in the act of being done.” This is the sixth signal in the ATF-1 reactivation sequence (September 20, 1937; April 20, May 2, May 15, June 16, June 20, 1938) — now spread across five entries within Volume 36 alone (April 20 through June 20). The reactivation case is now strong; director confirmation at v76 should consider the full six-signal sequence as a unified sustained reactivation rather than a series of isolated appearances.
