16-1924-05-09 Biblical Resonance Analysis
Volume 16 — May 9, 1924 “The chastisements will purify the earth so that the Divine Will may reign. However, many times Jesus is appeased in seeing His Divine Will within a creature upon earth; even more, He lives hidden in her as within another Humanity of His.”
STAGE ONE — Independent Biblical Identification
Privation and the Double-Edged Knife
“I spend my days in the most profound bitterness and in deep silence on the part of Jesus… The thought of the grave evils of the world and His privation are like a double edge knife, which kills me and, to my greater torment, does not make me die.”
Psalm 22:1–2 — “For the Chief Musician; set to “The Doe of the Morning.” A Psalm by David. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don’t answer; in the night season, and am not silent.” The cry of divine abandonment that structures the entire privation arc — the soul that knows God intimately thrown into a desolation without visible resolution. Affective/meditative
Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The double-edged sword as the biblical image the diary’s “double edge knife” evokes — here, not the Word itself but the combined wound of the world’s evil and Jesus’s absence that penetrates with the same interior precision. The image is reversed: the double-edged sword that normally divides unto life here divides unto the martyrdom of privation. Affective/meditative
2 Corinthians 4:8–9 — “We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;” The dying-without-dying dynamic that Paul names as the characteristic apostolic condition: perpetually struck, not finally destroyed. Luisa’s “kills me and… does not make me die” is this condition at its extreme. Direct doctrinal parallel
Isaiah 53:3 — “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him.” The suffering servant familiar with pain and the hidden divine face — the martyrdom of silence that Luisa chooses rather than articulate: “I believe it is better to keep them in silence.” Affective/meditative
Three Nails in the Heart / Three Conspiracies Against the Church
“Creatures put in Me three nails - not to my hands, but to my Heart and breast, which give Me pains of death. They are preparing three conspiracies, one uglier than the other, and in this conspiracies they are taking aim at my Church.”
Isaiah 53:10 — “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.” The servant’s ongoing crushing beyond the historical Passion — the nails in the Heart and breast name the continuation of the passion in the present tense, renewed by each organized assault against the Church. Direct doctrinal parallel
Matthew 26:3–4 — “Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas. They took counsel together that they might take Jesus by deceit and kill him.” The secret meeting against Jesus is the founding historical type of the “secret meetings” shown to Luisa in vision — the organized, covert plotting against Christ and his body. Typological
2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 — “Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.” The organized eschatological rebellion against God’s governance — the theological category within which the three conspiracies find their place. Direct doctrinal parallel
Jeremiah 11:9 — “The LORD said to me, “A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.” The conspiracy tradition in the prophets — organized plotting against God’s covenant people anticipated in the OT and now enacted against the Church. Typological
John 13:27 — “After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.” The “incarnate devils” — Jesus himself named one of his apostles a devil; those in whom the enemy operates with such thoroughness as to constitute a kind of human incarnation of evil are the scriptural category. Direct doctrinal parallel
Psalm 55:3–5 — “because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me. My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me. Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me.” The interior anguish of the one who sees the secret plotting of the wicked against the righteous — the Psalm names the quality of Jesus’s “how embittered I feel” at the conspiracies’ vision. Affective/meditative
Chastisements as Purification for the Divine Will’s Reign
“the evils, the destructions, will serve to fulfill what I have told you – that my Will may come to reign upon earth. But It wants to find it purified, and in order to purify it, destructions are needed.”
Isaiah 40:3–5 — “The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of the LORD in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain. The LORD’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.” The preparation of the way as the purpose of the purification: the chastisements that level the hills of pride and fill the valleys of unbelief prepare the earth for the divine glory’s arrival. The entry’s entire teleology of destruction rests on this Isaian framework. Direct doctrinal parallel
Malachi 3:2–3 — “But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap; and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to the LORD offerings in righteousness.” The refiner’s fire as the theological meaning of purification through destruction — not consuming but removing impurity, leaving the pure metal. The destructions “serve to fulfill” the DW reign in precisely this register. Direct doctrinal parallel
Titus 2:14 — “who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.” The purification as the redemptive purpose — the destructions continue and fulfill the redemptive purification toward which the entire economy is oriented. Direct doctrinal parallel
Matthew 6:9–10 — “Pray like this: “‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The Lord’s Prayer as the theological ground of the entire DW-reign expectation — “that my Will may come to reign upon earth” is the diary’s articulation of the petition the Church has been praying without yet knowing its full content. Direct doctrinal parallel
Zephaniah 3:8–9 — “Therefore wait for me”, says the LORD, “until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on the LORD’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.” The exact sequence the diary describes — judgment / purification / universal service of the divine will — stated as a single divine movement. Direct doctrinal parallel
Haggai 2:6–9 — “For this is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Yet once more, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Armies. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says the LORD of Armies. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of Armies; ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of Armies.” The shaking as the immediate precursor to the divine filling — destruction and instability as the providential preparation for the glory that follows. Typological
Hebrews 12:26–29 — “whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.” This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” The eschatological shaking that removes the impermanent so that only the eternal — the DW’s reign — remains. Direct doctrinal parallel
Revelation 21:1–5 — “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.” He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” The eschatological new creation as the fruit of the purification — the DW reign is the “new creation” that the destructions are ordered toward. Typological
Jesus Posted Within Luisa as in Another Humanity
“In you I find the air of my Will, and I feel I can be there with the decorum which befits my Person… just as I was in my Humanity when I lived on earth, in Which my Divinity, living in It, was as though posted and covered with the garment of my Humanity. In the same way, I cover Myself with the garment of the soul who does my Will; I live hidden within her as in my own center.”
John 1:14 — “The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The Incarnation as the first covering with the garment of humanity — the divine Word taking flesh as the mode of divine indwelling on earth. The diary extends this: the Divinity now covers itself with “the garment of the soul who does my Will” as a second mode of the same movement, structurally analogous to the first. Christological/Trinitarian
Colossians 2:9 — “For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,” The fullness of Deity dwelling in bodily form is the prototype disclosed in its analogy: in the DW soul, the Deity dwells in a form that mirrors — though not in the same hypostatic mode — the original Incarnation. Christological/Trinitarian
Habakkuk 1:13 — “You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,” The divine holiness that requires an appropriate dwelling — Jesus can be “posted” within Luisa with full decorum because the DW in her constitutes exactly the decorum his holiness requires. Without the DW’s purity, the divine presence could not rest there as it does in this entry. Direct doctrinal parallel
Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” The Pauline statement of total Christ-indwelling that corresponds to the garment-of-the-soul image: the soul is the garment; Christ is the hidden life within; the two form a single living reality analogous to the Humanity-Divinity relationship of the Incarnation. Direct doctrinal parallel
Colossians 1:27 — “to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” The indwelling Christ as the source of all glory — the “I am posted within you” in its most compressed Pauline form. Direct doctrinal parallel
Acts 17:28 — “‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’” The creature’s existence within the divine — here reversed and applied to the divine experience: Jesus “finds the air of my Will” in Luisa as the environment in which he can be present with full decorum. The creature breathes in God; the DW God finds in the creature the air proper to himself. Christological/Trinitarian
John 20:22 — “When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit!” The breath/air as the medium of the Spirit — “the air of my Will” finds its closest biblical parallel in this breathing of the Spirit. Christological/Trinitarian
1 Corinthians 6:19 — “Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,” The body as the divine dwelling — the diary advances from temple (a place of worship) to another Humanity (a personal garment identical in structure to the Incarnation). Direct doctrinal parallel
Luke 17:20–21 — “Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation; neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.” The interior kingdom as the location of the divine “posting” — the DW soul’s interior is the kingdom that Jesus enters with full decorum. Direct doctrinal parallel
By Just Looking at You, I Refrain
“in seeing that one of their stock possesses my Will, also on earth, how many evils and chastisements do I not spare out of regard for her? How many times I am in the act of destroying them… but by just looking at you, and seeing in you my Will and Its fortress, I post Myself again and I refrain.”
Genesis 18:22–32 (paraphrase) — Abraham’s negotiation over Sodom: fifty, forty-five, forty, thirty, twenty, ten. The “by just looking at you” compresses this logic to its extreme: not even ten righteous but a single soul in whom the DW resides as fortress. The scale of the restraint — total destruction averted by the divine gaze at one soul — is the Abrahamic logic taken to its ultimate point. Typological
Genesis 19:29 (CPDV) — “For when God overthrew the cities of that region, remembering Abraham, he freed Lot from the overthrow of the cities, in which he had dwelt” God restraining and modulating judgment out of “regard for” the intercessory presence of a particular soul — the “by just looking at you” principle enacted in the Abrahamic narrative. Typological
Hebrews 7:25 — “Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.” Christ’s perpetual intercession — now enacted from within the DW soul on earth as well as from the right hand of the Father: “from within her I look at the evils of creatures, and I cry and pray for them.” The intercession is the same; the location is now within the soul rather than only within the heavenly sanctuary. Direct doctrinal parallel
Ezekiel 22:30 — “I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.” The single soul in the gap — here identified not as standing but as being seen: the divine gaze at the DW-fortress in the soul is itself the barrier. Typological
1 John 2:1–2 — “My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.” The advocacy of Christ — extended here: Jesus advocates both from the Father’s right hand and from within the DW soul, “crying and praying” for creatures from that interior location. Direct doctrinal parallel
Isaiah 62:1 — “For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, and her salvation like a burning lamp.” The divine advocacy that will not cease — structurally parallel to the “I post Myself again and I refrain”: the same divine commitment that drives advocacy also drives the restraint of justice when the DW-fortress is present. Direct doctrinal parallel
STAGE TWO — Comparison with Hogan’s Commentary
CORRESPONDENCES
Hogan explicitly cites Isaiah 40 for the purpose of chastisements — “that’s Isaiah 40” for the road-preparation framework — corresponding to Stage One’s Isaiah 40:3–5. Both identify Malachi 3:3 (refiner’s fire) and Titus 2:14 (purification toward a people of God’s own) as the governing citations for the chastisements-as-purification movement. Hogan cites Galatians 2:20 (“I no longer live, Christ lives in me”) and Hebrews 7:25 for the indwelling-and-intercession movement, both identified in Stage One. Revelation 11:18 is cited again by Hogan for the “destroying the destroyers” dimension, carried from prior entries. Hogan cites Habakkuk 1:13 explicitly for the decorum doctrine; Stage One identified this as the governing anchor. Luke 17:21 (Hogan’s citation for “moving in my interior”) corresponds to Stage One’s identification.
DEVIATIONS
For the chastisements-as-purification movement, Stage One grounds the teleology in Matthew 6:9–10 (the Lord’s Prayer as the theological source of the DW-reign expectation) and extends through Zephaniah 3:8–9 and Hebrews 12:26–29. Hogan concentrates on Isaiah 40 as the master image (prepare the way, pull down the hills), supplemented by Malachi 3:3 and Titus 2:14. The framing difference is real and complementary: Stage One reads the teleology through the Lord’s Prayer (petition already embedded in the Church’s prayer life) and the OT purification sequences; Hogan reads it through the road-preparation tradition of the Forerunner (Isaiah 40 applied to the second coming as the first coming’s preparation is now replicated).
For the another-Humanity movement, Stage One reads through John 1:14 and Colossians 2:9 — the Incarnation as the theological prototype whose structure is replicated in the DW indwelling. Hogan reads it through the “living host” image (PHD-1 trajectory) and the domestic analogy — “we become a Bethany, a Nazareth; we give Jesus a place to live on the earth.” These two framings illuminate different theological registers: Stage One supplies the Christological-structural depth (the analogy to the Hypostatic Union); Hogan supplies the pastoral-domestic texture (Jesus finding a home, moving in, setting up as in Bethany).

ADDITIONS — HERS
Hogan supplies the explicit identification of the three conspiracies as communism, Illuminati, and Freemasonry — the historical specificity that grounds the theological category.
Hogan articulates the doctrinal shift that frames the VIP paragraph: before the DW, spirituality was “all about us reaching union with God”; within the DW, “it’s all about him — it’s not about us.” This is the theological principle Hogan identifies as the VIP content: the DW constitutes a categorical shift in the direction of the spiritual movement, from ascending creature to indwelling God. The implicit scriptural background for this shift is the movement from John 6:37 (the one who comes to me) to John 14:23 (we will come to him and make our home) — from the creature approaching to the Trinity indwelling.
Hogan develops the Bethany/Nazareth domestic analogy: “we give Jesus a place to live on the earth, a Bethany, a Nazareth.” The implicit scriptural background is Luke 10:38–42 (the Bethany home) and Luke 2:51 (Jesus hidden in Nazareth). The domestic texture is Hogan’s contribution; Stage One supplies the Christological depth-structure.
VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS
Hogan designates a VIP (#vip) for the paragraph beginning “So, after much hardship, this morning blessed Jesus made Himself seen in my interior, filling me completely with Himself.” Hogan identifies the VIP content as: “the divine will is all about God. It’s not about us” — and by extension, the entire disclosure that follows: Jesus posting himself within Luisa as in another Humanity, finding his own Sanctity, Light, and Will in her, covering himself with her as with a garment as he was covered with the garment of his Humanity in the Incarnation. This is the most formally stated AJD-1 register in Volume 16 and receives VIP designation. Galatians 2:20, John 1:14, and Hebrews 7:25 govern.
STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS
The combined analysis reveals two doctrinal centers with convergent authority. The chastisement-as-purification-for-DW-reign movement reaches its most formally teleological statement in this entry — Isaiah 40 (Hogan) and the full OT purification sequence (Stage One) together establish that the destructions are not incidental but structurally necessary for the earth to be capable of receiving the DW’s dominion. The VIP paragraph — Jesus posted within Luisa as in another Humanity, covering himself with her garment as the Divinity was covered with the garment of his Humanity — is the entry’s most theologically elevated disclosure and its permanent doctrinal contribution. The Incarnation parallel is formal and explicit; Stage One supplies the Christological depth (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9); Hogan supplies the pastoral texture (Bethany/Nazareth, living host, “it’s all about him”). Both streams converge on the entry’s conclusion: by just looking at the DW-fortress in the soul, Jesus refrains from total destruction — the most compressed form of the intercessory-embankment principle yet stated.
Cross-Entry Synthesis
Volume 16 — May 9, 1924 “The chastisements will purify the earth so that the Divine Will may reign. However, many times Jesus is appeased in seeing His Divine Will within a creature upon earth; even more, He lives hidden in her as within another Humanity of His.”
Privation and the Double-Edged Knife
“These are unspeakable pains that I am suffering, and I believe that it is better to keep them in silence… The thought of the grave evils of the world and His privation are like a double edge knife, which kills me and, to my greater torment, does not make me die.”
The opening is terse in Luisa’s description but theologically dense in implication. The “double edge knife” has two blades: Jesus’s absence and the world’s evil. The convergence of these two is itself the theological disclosure — the privation and the chastisements are not independent sufferings but a single compound wound. The longer the absence, the graver the chastisements; and the graver the chastisements, the deeper the privation’s martyrdom. The relationship between them will be made explicit in the third movement.
The dying-without-dying that 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 names as the apostolic condition — “struck down, but not destroyed” — is the structural parallel. Luisa chooses silence rather than articulation, which itself mirrors Isaiah 53:7 (“he was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth”). The martyrdom of silence is not passivity but the most refined form of conformity to the suffering servant.
The “three nails” image locates the current organized evil against the Church within the Passion’s continuation. The historical nails of Calvary were in Jesus’s hands and feet; the present nails are in his Heart and breast — the sufferings are interior, not exterior, produced by betrayal and conspiracy rather than physical violence. Isaiah 53:10 (ongoing crushing beyond the historical passion) and Matthew 26:3–4 (the secret meeting against Jesus as the founding type) govern the movement.
2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 (the man of lawlessness opposing everything called God) supplies the eschatological category; John 13:27 (Satan entering Judas, Jesus’s own word about one of his apostles being a devil) supplies the theological category of “incarnate devils.” Hogan identifies the three conspiracies as communism, Illuminati, and Freemasonry — the organized forces of 1924 whose activity constitutes, in Jesus’s framing, the same structure as the Sanhedrin’s secret meeting before Calvary. The vision of secret meetings shown to Luisa is the present enactment of Matthew 26:3–4 at a global scale.
Chastisements as Purification for the Divine Will’s Reign
“the evils, the destructions, will serve to fulfill what I have told you – that my Will may come to reign upon earth. But It wants to find it purified, and in order to purify it, destructions are needed.”
This is the entry’s most formally teleological statement and CEA-1’s most explicitly positive articulation. The chastisements are not punitive in their ultimate purpose but preparatory: destructions as the necessary condition for the DW’s reception. “Will serve to fulfill” — the evils are not merely permitted but actively ordered toward the DW’s dominion.
Hogan supplies the governing image through Isaiah 40:3–5: the road-preparation work before the coming King — every valley raised, every mountain leveled, the rough places made plain. The chastisements are the road-crew work without which the King cannot travel. Malachi 3:2–3 (the refiner’s fire purifying the Levites as the preparation for acceptable worship) and Titus 2:14 (purification toward a people eager to do good) supply the complementary images: the fire that removes dross leaves the metal; the purification removes what cannot bear the DW’s weight.
Stage One extends the teleological arc through Zephaniah 3:8–9 — the most complete OT statement of the sequence: wrath poured out on the nations → purification of the lips → universal service of God. This is the exact movement the diary describes: destruction → purified earth → DW reign in the midst of men. Matthew 6:9–10 (the Lord’s Prayer) provides the theological anchor: the DW reign the diary predicts is the answer to the prayer the Church has been praying since Christ taught it. The petition “your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” is not yet fulfilled; the chastisements are the preparation for its fulfillment.
The correlation Jesus makes between his absence and the chastisements’ gravity — “the longer is my absence from you, the graver will be the chastisements” — is a formal doctrinal statement disclosed here for the first time. It is simultaneously a VSC-1 observation (Luisa’s presence moderates the chastisements) and an IAD-1 disclosure (Jesus’s absence from Luisa is directly correlated with what the world receives). The two movements — the divine affliction and the world’s suffering — are not parallel phenomena but causally linked.
Jesus Posted Within Luisa as in Another Humanity — VIP
“In you I find the air of my Will, and I feel I can be there with the decorum which befits my Person… just as I was in my Humanity when I lived on earth, in Which my Divinity, living in It, was as though posted and covered with the garment of my Humanity. In the same way, I cover Myself with the garment of the soul who does my Will; I live hidden within her as in my own center.”
Hogan designates this paragraph VIP, identifying its content as: “the divine will is all about God — it’s not about us.” This is the precise theological principle on which the rest of the disclosure rests: the DW is not primarily a spiritual program for the creature’s advancement but the condition under which the divine Person himself can be present in the creature with the decorum befitting his nature.
The Incarnation analogy is formal and explicit. Jesus names two parallel structures: in the first Incarnation, the Divinity was “posted and covered with the garment of my Humanity”; in the DW soul, he covers himself “with the garment of the soul who does my Will.” The structural parallel is deliberate — not an analogy of devotion but an analogy of ontological structure. Stage One supplies the Christological depth: John 1:14 (Word becoming flesh, the first garment) and Colossians 2:9 (the fullness of Deity dwelling in bodily form) name the prototype whose structure is replicated. Hogan supplies the domestic texture: “we become a Bethany, a Nazareth” — a home where Jesus can be himself, set up, present, at rest.
Habakkuk 1:13 (Hogan’s citation) governs the decorum doctrine: “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil.” The DW soul constitutes an appropriate dwelling precisely because the DW is present in her as life — Jesus finds “my own things” there (his Sanctity, Light, Will acting in her). He is not entering a foreign space but recognizing himself. The Acts 17:28 dimension is significant here: “in him we live and move and have our being” — from the creature’s side; but from the divine side, Jesus finds “the air of my Will” in the DW soul — the environment proper to himself. The creature breathes in God; the DW soul gives God the air he breathes.
The “air of my Will” (John 20:22 — the Spirit breathed into the disciples) and the “garment” (the Humanity as the covering of the Divinity) are two images for the same reality from different angles: the DW soul is simultaneously the clothing that allows the divine presence to be present on earth with decorum, and the atmosphere in which the divine Person finds the conditions proper to his nature.
Galatians 2:20 (Hogan’s citation: “I no longer live, Christ lives in me”) provides the Pauline anchor. What Paul names from the creature’s perspective — “Christ lives in me” — the diary names from the divine perspective: “I live hidden within her as in my own center.” Both perspectives are true simultaneously; the AJD-1 structure requires both to be stated.
By Just Looking at You, I Refrain
“How many times I am in the act of destroying them and of making an end with them, because of the great evils they commit… but by just looking at you, and seeing in you my Will and Its fortress, I post Myself again and I refrain.”
The entry’s closing movement presents the most compressed intercessory-embankment statement yet — not the sustained standing in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30) or the active rounds, or even the sleep placed in the DW (April 8), but a single divine glance that restores the divine self-restraint. The “by just looking at you” is not metaphorical: Jesus posted within Luisa, looking outward at the world’s evil, also looks at the DW-fortress in the soul he inhabits and is arrested.
The logic is precise: because he is within Luisa and finds the DW there as his own things, the sight of the DW-fortress functions as the intercessory barrier. The barrier is not Luisa’s activity but the DW itself recognized by Jesus in her. Hebrews 7:25 governs: “he always lives to make intercession” — the Jesus within the DW soul is the same Jesus who always intercedes, now operating from within the earth rather than only from the heavenly sanctuary.
The Genesis 18:22–32 tradition (Abraham’s negotiation over Sodom) is here compressed to its limit: the logic of “for how many righteous” is compressed to “by just looking at you.” Not a negotiation, not a proportional reduction, but a single gaze at the DW-fortress that arrests the movement toward destruction. Genesis 19:29 enacts this principle: God “remembered Abraham” and modulated the judgment. The diary names the same mechanism in its most interior and immediate form.
Hogan identifies 1 John 2:1–2 (advocate with the Father) as the intercession anchor, connecting Jesus’s crying and praying from within the DW soul to his perpetual advocacy. The “crying and praying for them” that Jesus does from within Luisa is the heavenly intercession of Hebrews 7:25 enacted simultaneously on earth, in the interior of the DW soul, as a present and immediate act.
Synthesis
The dominant biblical imagination governing this entry is the New Incarnation: the DW soul as a second garment of the Divinity, structurally analogous to the Hypostatic Union though ontologically distinct from it, enabling Jesus to be “posted” on earth with the decorum his Person requires and from which location he looks at the world, cries and prays for it, and is arrested from total destruction by the sight of his own Will functioning as fortress within the soul.
The most load-bearing scriptural traditions are three. First, the Incarnation-type tradition (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9, Galatians 2:20, Habakkuk 1:13): the DW soul’s indwelling is structurally analogous to the Hypostatic Union — the Divinity covered with a garment, finding its own things, able to be present with decorum. Second, the road-preparation and refiner-fire traditions (Isaiah 40:3–5, Malachi 3:2–3, Zephaniah 3:8–9): the chastisements are not punitive but preparatory — the road crew for the DW’s coming reign. Third, the intercessory-restraint tradition (Genesis 18:22–32, Genesis 19:29, Hebrews 7:25, Ezekiel 22:30): the divine gaze at the DW-fortress in the soul as the mechanism that arrests total destruction — the most compressed form of the embankment doctrine yet stated.
Hogan’s VIP designation for the another-Humanity paragraph reflects the doctrinal weight of the entire entry. The principle she names — “the divine will is all about God, not about us” — is the theological key that unlocks all the entry’s other movements: the chastisements are about the earth receiving him; the decorum doctrine is about the conditions of his presence; the “by just looking at you” is about his gaze, not Luisa’s activity. The DW soul’s role in this entry is to be the appropriate garment, the available home, the fortress recognized by the divine eye — not the active agent but the place from which the divine agency operates. This is AJD-1 in its most radical form: the soul as another Humanity, transparent to the divine action from within.

VIP confirmed — another-Humanity paragraph / AJD-1 corpus apex for Volume 16: Hogan designates VIP (#vip) for the paragraph beginning “after much hardship, this morning blessed Jesus made Himself seen in my interior, filling me completely with Himself.” VIP content per Hogan: “the divine will is all about God — it’s not about us” — and by extension the entire disclosure that follows. This is AJD-1’s most formally Incarnation-parallel statement: “just as I was in my Humanity when I lived on earth, in Which my Divinity, living in It, was as though posted and covered with the garment of my Humanity. In the same way, I cover Myself with the garment of the soul who does my Will.” The Hypostatic-Union structural analogy is explicit and formal — the most theologically elevated AJD-1 form in Volume 16. John 1:14, Colossians 2:9, Galatians 2:20, and Habakkuk 1:13 govern.
AJD-1 update — second-Humanity / garment-of-the-soul form: “I cover Myself with the garment of the soul who does my Will; I live hidden within her as in my own center.” The most formally Incarnation-parallel AJD-1 register in the corpus since the February 16, 1923 apex: the DW soul as a second garment of the Divinity, structurally analogous to the Humanity of Jesus — the Divinity posted and covered, finding its own things (Sanctity, Light, Will), present with full decorum. The decorum doctrine (Habakkuk 1:13) now functions as the doctrinal ground: the DW soul constitutes the appropriate dwelling for the divine Person. VIP designated.
CEA-1 update — chastisement-as-purification-for-DW-reign / teleological form: “the evils, the destructions, will serve to fulfill what I have told you — that my Will may come to reign upon earth. But It wants to find it purified, and in order to purify it, destructions are needed.” CEA-1’s most formally teleological statement: the destructions are not incidental but structurally ordered toward the DW’s dominion. Isaiah 40:3–5 (Hogan’s explicit citation — road-preparation for the divine coming), Malachi 3:2–3 (refiner’s fire — cited by Hogan), Titus 2:14 (cited by Hogan), Zephaniah 3:8–9, and Matthew 6:9–10 govern.
IAD-1 update — privation-as-chastisement-correlative / absence-gravity form: “the longer is my absence from you, the graver will be the chastisements.” A new IAD-1 register: the formal correlation between Jesus’s absence from Luisa and the world’s chastisements. This is IAD-1 in its most cosmological form — the affective deficit is not merely relational but directly causally linked to the severity of what the world receives. The two prior IAD-1 cosmic registers (divine-insomnia / world-preservation, April 8; tear-drying / seeking-refuge) are here joined by this proportionality principle. Colossians 1:24 and VSC-1’s governing anchors apply.
