13-1921-12-10 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 13 — December 10, 1921 “The fecundity of one act done in the Divine Will.”

STAGE ONE — Independent Biblical Identification

The Solar Baseline and Its Surpassing — Divine Seeds beyond Calculation

“If you asked the Sun: ‘How many seeds have you fecundated? How many of them have you multiplied from the moment you rose above our horizon?’; neither the Sun, nor any other creature, as learned as he might be, would be able to tell you… one act done in my Will is more than Sun, which multiplies to infinity not human, but Divine seeds.”

Psalm 19:4b–6 — “In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.” The solar baseline that the DW act is declared to surpass; the sun’s circuit reaching everything, its heat hidden from nothing, establishes the highest natural measure of universal creative fecundity — and the entry immediately exceeds this with the claim of infinite divine-seed multiplication. Typological

Isaiah 55:10–11 — “For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” The most direct scriptural parallel to the entry’s seed-fecundity claim: the divine word as seed-giver and earth-waterer that accomplishes its purpose without remainder. The DW act, carrying the Creative Power of the divine word, participates in this same unfailing fecundity — but surpasses it by multiplying not earthly but divine seeds. Direct doctrinal parallel

Malachi 4:2 — “But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.” The Sun of Righteousness as the governing emblem of the DW’s light-nature; the DW act surpasses the physical sun by bearing the fecundating power of the divine Sun — its wings heal and its rays multiply divine life where the physical sun multiplies only natural life. Typological

The Creative Power Carried in Every DW Act

“Since the act done in my Will carries the Creative Power with itself, it fecundates those seeds in a way which is incalculable to a finite mind… the acts done in my Will are Divine seeds which carry with them the Creative Power and which, more than suns, not only fecundate, but create seeds, and multiply them to infinity.”

Genesis 1:11–12 — “And God said, ‘Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.’ And it was so.” The original Creative Power in its seed-producing form; the DW act carrying this Creative Power deploys the same divine word that produced the entire botanical order at Creation — but now producing Divine seeds of infinite multiplication rather than natural seeds of finite proliferation. Typological

John 1:1–4 — “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.” The Logos as the life-bearing, creation-carrying Word; the DW acts as “bearers of the Divine Life” draws directly on this identification — they bear the Life that is the Logos himself, carrying into the spiritual world what the Word carried into the material creation. Christological/Trinitarian

Isaiah 46:10 — “I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.” The divine creative will that accomplishes its purpose without fail; the DW act carrying the Creative Power carries this same purposive infallibility — its effects are incalculable not because they are random but because the divine purpose that drives them exceeds finite computation. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 1:8 — “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” The Almighty whose Power the DW acts carry; the Creative Power that “puts my Power in motion” is the power of the Alpha and Omega — the eternal creative omnipotence that encompasses all time, which is why Hogan identifies its reach as extending from Adam to the last human being. Direct doctrinal parallel

The Infinite Multiplication — Innovation and Harmony in the Spiritual World

“An innovation in the spiritual world occurs, and such harmony that all are attracted. In hearing this harmony, those who are most disposed get warm; thousands and thousands effects arise like many seeds.”

Matthew 13:3–9, 23 (paraphrase) — The Parable of the Sower; seed falling on good soil bears thirty, sixty, a hundredfold. The entry’s “those who are most disposed get warm” corresponds to the good soil — the prepared receptivity that allows the seed to multiply. But the DW act exceeds the parable’s hundredfold: it multiplies “to infinity” because the seed it sows is divine rather than human. The parable provides the formal category (seed/soil/receptivity/multiplication); the entry discloses the infinite intensification that DW-quality seeds introduce. Direct doctrinal parallel

Matthew 13:31–32 — “He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field, which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.” The smallest becoming the greatest through the hidden power of the seed; one DW act appears negligible but carries the Creative Power to infinite multiplication — structurally identical to the mustard seed’s logic, but operating at the divine scale. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 3:6–7 — “I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” The incalculable character of spiritual seed-fecundation as God’s exclusive operation; the DW acts produce growth that “is incalculable to a finite mind” because the growth-giving belongs to the divine Power the act carries, not to the creaturely instrument. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 1:17 — “He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.” The cosmic coherence that makes the spiritual-world innovation a structurally harmonious event; the “harmony that attracts all” is grounded in Christ’s hold-together function — the DW act touching the nerve of this coherence produces the resonance the entire spiritual order responds to. Christological/Trinitarian

Isaiah 55:12–13 — “The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands. … make a name for the LORD, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.” The cosmic harmonious response to the divine Word going out; the “harmony that all are attracted” in the spiritual world when a DW act is performed corresponds to this Isaianic proclamation of creation’s concert-response to the divine seed-word. Typological

Bearers of Divine Life / Field for New Creations

“They give Me the field for new Creations, put my Power in motion, and are the bearers of the Divine Life.”

John 10:10 — “I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” The Divine Life in its abundant form as the content of what the DW acts bear; the “bearers of the Divine Life” designation takes up the Johannine abundant-life claim and names the DW acts as its active distribution mechanism in the spiritual world. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Peter 1:4 — “by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.” The participation in divine nature as the content of “bearers of the Divine Life”; the DW acts sow this participation as divine seed — each act plants a share in the divine nature in those who receive it. Direct doctrinal parallel

Ephesians 1:9–11 — “making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him. We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,” The “field for new Creations” as the vehicle for this unification plan; the DW acts giving God the field for new Creations are the concrete operations through which the mystery-plan of uniting all things in Christ is being executed at the spiritual seed-level. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 21:5 — “He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” The “innovation in the spiritual world” that each DW act introduces as a micro-form of the universal renewal; the act’s “new” is the divine newness whose cosmic form is announced in Revelation 21 — each act deploys a moment of the eschatological renewal in the present spiritual world. Direct doctrinal parallel

STAGE TWO — Comparison with Hogan’s Commentary

CORRESPONDENCES

The solar-seed surpassing structure — both Stage One and Hogan identify the entry’s central claim: one DW act exceeds the sun’s fecundating power by multiplying not human but Divine seeds. Hogan: “more powerful than the sun… it multiplies to infinity, not human, but Divine seeds.” The incalculability to a finite mind — both identify this as the governing characterization of the DW act’s multiplication. The Creative Power as the carried content of the DW act — both identify this as the mechanism grounding the incalculable fecundity.

DEVIATIONS

Hogan provides no Scripture citations in this entry. Stage One’s entire citation apparatus constitutes the biblical mapping; Hogan’s commentary is purely pastoral and applicative.

ADDITIONS — MINE

  • Psalm 19:4b–6 — the solar baseline (circuit reaching everything, nothing hidden from its heat) that establishes the natural measure the DW surpasses
  • Isaiah 55:10–11 — the divine word as seed-giver and earth-waterer that accomplishes its purpose; the most direct scriptural parallel to the entry’s seed-fecundity claim
  • Malachi 4:2 — the Sun of Righteousness as governing emblem of the DW’s solar-light nature
  • Genesis 1:11–12 — “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed”; the original Creative Power in its seed-producing form that the DW act now carries
  • John 1:1–4 — the Logos as life-bearing creation-Word; DW acts as bearers of the Divine Life taking up this identification
  • Isaiah 46:10 — the divine creative will accomplishing its purpose; the DW act carrying this same purposive infallibility
  • Revelation 1:8 — the Almighty whose Power the DW acts carry; the Alpha-and-Omega as the ground of the omnitemporal reach
  • Matthew 13:3–9, 23 — the Sower parable; “those most disposed” = the good soil; the hundredfold as the exceeded baseline
  • Matthew 13:31–32 — the mustard seed parable; smallest becoming greatest through hidden creative power
  • 1 Corinthians 3:6–7 — “God gave the growth”; incalculable spiritual fecundation as God’s exclusive operation
  • Colossians 1:17 — “in him all things hold together”; the cosmic coherence grounding the spiritual-world harmony
  • Isaiah 55:12–13 — the cosmic harmonious response to the divine Word; creation’s concert-response
  • John 10:10 — life in abundance as the content borne by DW acts
  • 2 Peter 1:4 — participation in the divine nature as the content of “bearers of the Divine Life”
  • Ephesians 1:9–11 — the mystery-plan of uniting all things as the purpose the “field for new Creations” serves
  • Revelation 21:5 — “making all things new”; the “innovation in the spiritual world” as a micro-form of the universal renewal

ADDITIONS — HERS

The omnitemporal reach — “goes out to all human beings of all time from Adam to Zachary.” Stage One identified the Revelation 1:8 / Alpha-and-Omega anchor for this; Hogan supplies the specific scope without citation. This is the ECA-1 omnitemporal-Creative-Power register applied to the seed-fecundity form: the DW act’s divine seeds reach every human soul across all time, not just those present to the act.

The selective-disposition observation — “Only God knows how different souls are disposed at different times, in different circumstances. And he makes sure that the rays that come out from these acts done in the divine will will reach them.” The divine orchestration of the fecundating rays toward those most disposed is Hogan’s pastoral contribution, implying that the “harmony” of the spiritual-world innovation is divinely targeted rather than indiscriminate. Matthew 13:23 (seed on good soil) provides the scriptural ground Stage One identified; Hogan gives the divine-Providence dimension.

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

No VIP designation.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The combined findings converge entirely on the single doctrinal claim: one DW act carries and deploys the Creative Power, surpassing all natural fecundity by multiplying Divine seeds to infinity. Hogan provides no citations but supplies the omnitemporal scope (“from Adam to Zachary”) and the selective-disposition dynamic that Stage One grounded in Revelation 1:8 and Matthew 13:23 respectively. The dominant biblical traditions are: the seed-and-word tradition (Isaiah 55:10–11; Matthew 13; 1 Corinthians 3:6–7) providing the fecundity framework; the Logos-and-creation tradition (John 1:1–4; Genesis 1:11–12) grounding the Creative Power carried; and the eschatological-renewal tradition (Revelation 21:5; Ephesians 1:9–11) identifying the “new Creations” as micro-deployments of the universal renewal. The entry is the most concentrated ECA-1 statement in the corpus to date.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 13 — December 10, 1921 “The fecundity of one act done in the Divine Will.”

The Solar Baseline and Its Surpassing

The entry opens with an unanswerable question about the sun’s seeds and immediately deploys that impossibility as a launching pad. Isaiah 55:10–11 is the most direct scriptural parallel: the divine word as the fecundating agent that accomplishes its purpose without remainder. The DW act carries this same word-power but multiplies not natural but divine seeds — a categorical rather than quantitative surpassing. Psalm 19:4b–6 establishes the solar baseline being exceeded: the sun’s circuit reaching everything, nothing hidden from its heat, is the natural measure the DW act surpasses. Malachi 4:2 connects the image to its governing spiritual referent (the Sun of Righteousness), making the surpassing claim theologically coherent: the DW act surpasses the physical sun by participating in the divine Sun’s own fecundating nature.

The Creative Power Carried — Incalculable to a Finite Mind

Stage One’s convergent identifications — Genesis 1:11–12, John 1:1–4, Isaiah 46:10, Revelation 1:8 — establish that the Creative Power the DW acts carry is not derived or communicated power but the original divine creative agency: the same power that said “let the earth sprout vegetation,” the same Logos through whom all things were made, the same Alpha-and-Omega whose purpose never fails. Incalculability to a finite mind is not a measurement failure but a structural consequence: no finite scale registers what operates at the divine level.

Hogan’s omnitemporal scope (“from Adam to Zachary”) is grounded in Revelation 1:8’s Alpha-and-Omega: the Creative Power knows no temporal restriction, so the seeds of one DW act propagate through the entire span of human history. This is the ECA-1 omnitemporal-Creative-Power register (August 9) expressed through the seed-fecundity image.

Innovation, Harmony, and the Selective Warm

The “innovation in the spiritual world” and the “harmony that all are attracted” find their doctrinal grounding in Colossians 1:17 and Isaiah 55:12–13. The DW act touches the nerve of Christ’s hold-together function and produces a resonance the entire spiritual order responds to — not manufactured but the structural chord of creation’s coherence made audible. Matthew 13:23 and Hogan’s selective-disposition observation together name the differentiation: the harmony reaches all, but only those on prepared soil receive the warming that produces fruit.

The mustard-seed parable (Matthew 13:31–32) illuminates the proportional claim: the DW act appears as negligible as the smallest seed, but its hidden cargo (the Creative Power) ensures that growth exceeds all visible proportion.

Bearers of Divine Life / Field for New Creations

John 10:10, 2 Peter 1:4, and Ephesians 1:9–11 identify what the DW acts bear: the abundant Divine Life, participation in the divine nature, and the unification of all things in Christ. The “field for new Creations” is the concrete contribution the DW acts make to the eschatological mystery-plan — each act opens a new domain for divine creative action advancing the fullness-of-time unification. Revelation 21:5 is the eschatological form of what each DW act enacts at the micro-level: a moment of the universal renewal deployed in the present spiritual world, each act a small Revelation 21 scaled to the creaturely instrument bearing it.

Synthesis Conclusion

The dominant biblical imagination is the seed-and-word tradition of Isaiah 55 and Matthew 13, fused with the Logos-and-creation Christology of John 1. This is the most concentrated ECA-1 statement in the corpus: the Creative Power carried in DW acts is infinitely fecundating, omnitemporal in reach, innovative in the spiritual world, and the bearer of Divine Life itself. The three most load-bearing correspondences are: (1) Isaiah 55:10–11 — the divine word as seed-giver whose fecundity the DW act formally models and then exceeds; (2) John 1:1–4 — the Logos as the life-bearing creative Word, establishing that what the DW acts bear is the creative agency through whom all things were made; (3) Revelation 21:5 / Ephesians 1:9–11 — the DW act as micro-deployment of the eschatological renewal, each act a seed of the “all things new” planted in the present spiritual world.

Observation Notes

13-1921-12-10

ECA-1 major new register — seed-fecundity / infinite-multiplication form: “The acts done in my Will are Divine seeds which carry with them the Creative Power and which, more than suns, not only fecundate, but create seeds, and multiply them to infinity. They give Me the field for new Creations, put my Power in motion, and are the bearers of the Divine Life.” The most concentrated and operationally complete ECA-1 statement in the corpus: not merely that DW acts carry the Creative Power (August 9) or repeat the Creating Fiat generating new heavens (August 20), but that they function as infinitely multiplying Divine seeds that fecundate the entire spiritual world across all time, give God the field for new Creations, and bear the Divine Life itself. The seed-fecundity form adds to the prior ECA-1 registers the mechanism of propagation: the Creative Power is not only present in the DW act but actively multiplying through it in ways incalculable to a finite mind. Hogan’s omnitemporal scope (“from Adam to Zachary”) grounds the temporal reach. Governing anchors: Isaiah 55:10–11; John 1:1–4; Genesis 1:11–12; Matthew 13:3–9, 23; Matthew 13:31–32; Revelation 21:5; Ephesians 1:9–11.

VSC-1 candidate — thousands-of-effects / selective-warming: “In hearing this harmony, those who are most disposed get warm; thousands and thousands effects arise like many seeds.” The DW soul’s acts generating warmth and thousands of effects in those most disposed across all time is a strong VSC-1 candidate: the causality runs from the DW act through the Creative Power it carries to receptive souls throughout human history. The selectivity (“most disposed”) mirrors the Sower parable’s good-soil dynamic. Added to the unsequenced VSC-1 candidate pool.
