12-1917-05-16 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 12 — May 16, 1917 “Effects of the Hours of the Passion.”

STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION

Fusion Giving the Influence of Divine Life to All Creatures

“My daughter, every time the creature fuses herself in Me, she gives the influence of Divine Life to all creatures; and according to their own needs, the creatures obtain their effects: those who are weak, feel strength; those who are obstinate in sin, receive light; those who suffer, receive comfort; and so with all the rest.”

John 15:5 — “I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” The vine-branch abiding as the condition of fruitfulness — the fruit flowing through the branch because the branch is in the vine — is the structural ground for “every time the creature fuses herself in Me, she gives the influence of Divine Life to all creatures”: the divine influence flows through the fused soul as the vine’s life flows through the branch, distributed universally. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 5:5 — “and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” The divine love poured into the soul and through her into the world — via the Spirit given — corresponds to the differentiated effects: the Spirit distributes strength to the weak, light to the obstinate, comfort to the suffering, each receiving “according to their own needs.” Direct doctrinal parallel

1 Corinthians 12:4–7 — “Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God who works all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.” The same Spirit producing varieties of effects distributed to each for the common good is the Pauline architecture for the differentiated distribution: one fusing, one divine influence flowing, but differentiated into strength, light, and comfort according to each creature’s need. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 61:1–2 (translation pending) — “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me… he has sent me to bring good news to the poor… to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives… to comfort all who mourn.” The anointed servant bringing differentiated gifts to different conditions — good news to the poor, binding-up to the broken, liberty to captives, comfort to the mourners — is the prophetic type of the fused soul’s differentiated distribution: the same divine life producing exactly what each recipient needs. Typological

Every Soul Marked by the Hours of the Passion — Purgatory, Heaven, and the Whole Church

“There is not a soul who enters Purgatory without carrying the mark of the Hours of the Passion. Surrounded by the cortege of these Hours and helped by them, the souls take a safe place. And there is not a soul who flies into Heaven, without being accompanied by these Hours of the Passion. These Hours make a continuous dew pour down from Heaven to earth, into Purgatory, and even into Heaven.”

Hebrews 12:22–24 — “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels, to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.” The comprehensive assembly — living, departed, angelic, heavenly — joined in a single liturgical gathering is the scriptural image of what the Hours’ reach across purgatory, earth, and heaven constitutes: a single mediatorial action of Christ’s sprinkled blood that touches every member of the whole Church simultaneously. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 5:8 — “Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” The prayers of the saints held before the Lamb as golden bowls — the earthly intercession present before the heavenly throne — images the Hours of the Passion as a continuous dew flowing between earth, purgatory, and heaven: the prayer does not remain on earth but ascends and returns as dew over the whole Church. Typological

2 Maccabees 12:45 (translation pending) — “For if he were not expecting that those who had fallen would rise again, it would have been superfluous and foolish to pray for the dead. But if he was looking to the splendid reward that is laid up for those who fall asleep in godliness, it was a holy and pious thought. Therefore he made atonement for the dead, so that they might be delivered from their sin.” The theological ground for prayer benefiting the souls in purgatory — and the tradition’s most explicit scriptural warrant — grounds the specific disclosure that the Hours of the Passion reach purgatorial souls, marking every soul that enters with their cortege. Direct doctrinal parallel

Colossians 1:20 — “and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.” The reconciliation of all things — on earth and in heaven — through the blood of Christ is the Pauline ground for the Hours’ universal reach: they put in circulation the blood and wounds that reconcile all things in every realm. Direct doctrinal parallel

Isaiah 45:8 — “Rain, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it.” The heavenly showering of righteousness that makes salvation spring up corresponds to the continuous dew the Hours pour from heaven to earth, into purgatory, and even into heaven: the same upper-to-lower and lower-to-upper movement of grace moving through the whole created order. Typological

The Hours as the Order of the Universe — Holding Back Ruin

“These Hours are the order of the Universe; they put Heaven and earth in harmony, and restrain Me from sending the world to ruin. I feel my Blood, my wounds, my Love and all I did, being placed in circulation; and they flow over all to save all.”

Colossians 1:16–17 — “For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible … and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.” The cosmic coherence of all things in Christ — the holding-together function — grounds the Hours as “the order of the Universe”: they are the creaturely participation in the Christological principle that holds all things together, placing Christ’s blood and wounds in circulation so that the reconciling coherence continues to reach all. Christological/Trinitarian

Hebrews 1:3 — “His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,” The upholding of the universe by the word of Christ’s power — the sustained cosmological function of the incarnate Word — is the ground for the Hours as the “order of the Universe”: they are the creaturely form of the same upholding function, circulating the blood and wounds that keep the cosmos from the ruin that sin otherwise merits. Christological/Trinitarian

Genesis 18:23–32 — “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?… Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it?” Abraham’s intercession restraining divine judgment through the righteous remnant corresponds precisely to the Hours restraining God from “sending the world to ruin”: the intercessory function that holds back cosmic judgment, operating through a small company of righteous souls whose prayers constitute the remnant. Typological

Ezekiel 22:30 — “I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.” The standing-in-the-breach that prevents destruction — the intercessory posture that holds back cosmic judgment — is the prophetic archetype of the Hours’ function: they are the weld and seal of April 2 operating at the cosmic level, placing in circulation the blood that prevents the universal ruin. Typological

Romans 3:25 — “whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;” The propitiation by Christ’s blood — the mechanism by which divine forbearance is operative — is the ground for the Hours’ restraining function: they put in circulation the propitiatory blood that continues to hold back the judgment that sin accumulates. Direct doctrinal parallel

”I Feel My Life Being Repeated” — ECA-1 and AJD-1 at Full Deployment

“As souls do these Hours of the Passion, I feel my Blood, my wounds, my anxieties to save souls, being put in motion, and I feel my own Life being repeated. How could creatures obtain any good if not by means of these Hours?”

1 Corinthians 11:24–26 — “This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.” … For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” The Eucharistic anamnesis — the proclamation of the Lord’s death as a living re-presentation, not a mere recollection — is the liturgical archetype of the Hours’ function: “I feel my own Life being repeated” is the subjective-divine form of what anamnesis means objectively — the Passion is made present again, its blood and wounds placed in circulation, its effects newly operative. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hebrews 7:25 — “Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.” The perpetual intercession of Christ — always living to intercede — is the Christological ground for the Hours’ universal saving reach: “I feel my Blood… being put in motion… they flow over all to save all” is the creaturely participation in Christ’s permanent intercessory function. Christological/Trinitarian

Hebrews 10:14 — “For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” The once-for-all perfecting efficacy of Christ’s offering — permanently available because permanently accomplished — grounds the Hours’ reach across past, present, and future: the blood placed in circulation by the Hours does not lose its efficacy with time but flows over all eras as the single eternally valid offering. Direct doctrinal parallel

Revelation 5:6 — “I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.” The Lamb standing as though slain — the Passion permanently present before the throne in its redemptive efficacy — is the eschatological image of “I feel my wounds being put in motion”: the wounds are not historical scars but living channels through which the divine life continues to pour. Christological/Trinitarian

The Weak Instrument — God Writing Straight with Crooked Lines

“This thing is not yours, but mine. You have been the strained and weak instrument.”

1 Corinthians 1:27–28 — “but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong. God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist,” The divine preference for weak instruments — chosen precisely in their weakness so that the power is manifestly God’s — grounds “you have been the strained and weak instrument”: the weakness is not despite the mission but the form in which the power becomes unmistakable. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 4:7 — “But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.” The jar of clay containing the divine treasure — the fragile vessel making the power’s source unmistakable — is the Pauline image of Luisa as strained and weak instrument: precisely because she is frail, the divine work through her is unambiguously his. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 12:9 — “He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” The power perfected in weakness — not despite it but through it — is the governing logic of the “strained and weak instrument”: the Hours’ universal cosmic reach is not generated by Luisa’s strength but by the divine power that uses her weakness as its transparent medium. Direct doctrinal parallel

ADDITIONS — HERS

  • Double VIP designation: Hogan places two explicit vip markers: one on “every time you fuse yourself in Me, you give the influence of divine life to all souls” and a second (described as “huge VIP”) on “there is not one soul who enters purgatory without carrying the mark of the hours of the passion.” These are the two summits of the entry’s content, designated with maximum emphasis.
  • Past-present-future (PPF) reach: Hogan identifies the Hours’ reach as explicitly temporal as well as spatial — “they flow over all that’s past, present and future.” Implicit ground: Hebrews 10:14 (perfecting for all time; Stage One); Revelation 1:8 (“who is and who was and who is to come”).
  • Conditional efficacy: Hogan specifies that the Hours produce their effects only when prayed in the Divine Will, not as an ordinary devotion: “if you just read them as an ordinary devotion, no — it must be done specifically fused in the divine will.” This is a doctrinal specification not present in the diary text itself.
  • The chastisement and the Hours as restraint: Hogan’s pastoral application identifies the CEA-1 connection: the Hours “hold me back from sending the world to ruin” is the intercessory mechanism that the chastisement-arc has been awaiting from the side of the creature’s response. Implicit ground: Revelation 8:3–5 (the angel with the golden censer whose incense-prayers ascend before God and whose fire is cast upon the earth).

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

Two confirmed VIPs designated by Hogan with explicit vip markers:

  1. “Every time the creature fuses herself in Me, she gives the influence of Divine Life to all creatures” — Hogan: “put VIP and anything else you can put on that.”
  2. “There is not a soul who enters Purgatory without carrying the mark of the Hours of the Passion” — Hogan: “please put a huge VIP.”

Both are confirmed VIPs for this entry.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The entry’s two VIP peaks identify its doctrinal summits. The first — fusion giving the influence of divine life to all creatures — is the most universally applicable formulation of the apostolic-fusion teaching in the corpus, giving the entire Volume 12 fusing emphasis its most concise and absolute statement. The second — every soul entering purgatory marked by the Hours — discloses a universal soteriological function for the Hours that exceeds anything previously named: not a devotion for personal sanctification but the cosmological ordering mechanism through which Christ’s blood and wounds remain in circulation across the whole Church in all three states. Hogan’s PPF specification and her identification of the Hours as the creaturely restraint on cosmic judgment (the CEA-1 restraining function) supply the temporal and eschatological frames that complete the picture.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 12 — May 16, 1917 “Effects of the Hours of the Passion.”

Fusion and the Universal Distribution of Divine Life

The entry’s opening movement continues and caps the April 18 solar-dew teaching. Here the formulation is sharpened to its most absolute: not “a sun forms” but “she gives the influence of Divine Life to all creatures” — the fusion is the universal conduit for the divine life itself, unconditionally, every time. John 15:5 (the vine-branch giving fruit) and 1 Corinthians 12:4–7 (the Spirit distributing varieties of gifts to each for the common good) establish the structural architecture. Isaiah 61:1–2 (the anointed servant bringing differentiated gifts to different conditions) provides the prophetic type of the differentiated distribution: same divine life flowing, different effects received according to each creature’s need. This is the Batch 1 fusion-teaching at its apex.

Every Soul Marked by the Hours — The Universal Soteriological Function

The revelation from purgatorial souls and saints is the entry’s most structurally extraordinary disclosure: not one soul enters purgatory without carrying the mark of the Hours, and not one soul flies into heaven without being accompanied by them. Hebrews 12:22–24 (the whole Church — living, departed, angelic, heavenly — in assembly) and Revelation 5:8 (the prayers of the saints as golden bowls before the Lamb) establish the ecclesiological scope. 2 Maccabees 12:45–46 provides the canonical warrant for the purgatorial reach. Colossians 1:20 (reconciliation of all things on earth and in heaven through the blood of the cross) grounds the universal claim.

The implication is cosmological: the Hours are not Luisa’s private devotion but the intercessory mechanism through which Christ’s Passion reaches every soul in every state of the Church. Every act of praying the Hours in the Divine Will is a co-mediation in the single mediation of Christ, its effects flowing continuously from heaven to earth to purgatory and back.

The Hours as the Order of the Universe — CEA-1 Restraining Function

“These Hours are the order of the Universe; they put Heaven and earth in harmony, and restrain Me from sending the world to ruin.” Colossians 1:16–17 and Hebrews 1:3 (the Christological holding-together of all things) ground the cosmic claim: the Hours are the creaturely participation in the cosmological function of Christ’s sustaining power. Genesis 18:23–32 (Abraham’s intercession restraining judgment) and Ezekiel 22:30 (standing in the breach) supply the typological structure. Romans 3:25 (propitiation by the blood holding back judgment) is the doctrinal ground.

The CEA-1 dimension is explicit: the Hours are the specific intercessory mechanism that holds back the ruin the world’s accumulated sin merits. Hogan’s pastoral application connects directly to the chastisement-arc: the prayers of the Hours ascending before the throne delay the fire. This is the most direct statement yet of how the DW soul’s intercessory fusing relates to the chastisement the preceding volumes have been tracking.

”I Feel My Life Being Repeated” — ECA-1 Passion-Anamnesis at Full Deployment

The closing disclosure — “I feel my own Life being repeated” — brings ECA-1 and AJD-1 together at the specific locus of the Hours of the Passion. 1 Corinthians 11:24–26 (the Eucharistic anamnesis) is the governing anchor: the Hours function as a Passion-anamnesis, making present the blood, wounds, and anxieties of Christ so that they are genuinely in circulation again. Hebrews 10:14 (the single offering perfecting for all time) and Revelation 5:6 (the Lamb standing as though slain) establish that the wounds are permanently open channels — the blood circulated by the Hours is the same blood present before the throne.

The AJD-1 form is here at its most liturgical: the souls praying the Hours become the vehicles through which Christ’s Passion is re-enacted — the blood, wounds, and anxieties are put in motion through their praying, producing in the divine interiority the experience of his Life being repeated. This is ECA-1’s Passion-anamnesis register at its fullest development in the corpus.

The Weak Instrument

The entry closes with the divine reframe: “this thing is not yours, but mine.” 1 Corinthians 1:27–28, 2 Corinthians 4:7, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 together establish the principle: the cosmological function of the Hours does not depend on Luisa’s strength but on the divine power using her strained and weak instrument as its transparent medium. Hogan’s formulation — “he is the only one who knows how to write straight with crooked lines” — is the pastoral application of 1 Corinthians 1:28.

Synthesis Conclusion

Dominant biblical imagination: The entry operates within the Christological-cosmological tradition (Colossians 1:16–20; Hebrews 1:3; 7:25; 10:14) for the Hours as the order of the universe, the whole-Church tradition (Hebrews 12:22–24; Revelation 5:6–8; 2 Maccabees 12:45–46) for the universal ecclesiological reach, and the Eucharistic-anamnesis tradition (1 Corinthians 11:24–26; Hebrews 10:14; Revelation 5:6) for “I feel my life being repeated.”

Most load-bearing scriptural traditions: Colossians 1:16–20 (the cosmological holding-together by Christ’s blood; the Hours as the creaturely participation in this function); 1 Corinthians 11:24–26 / Hebrews 10:14 (Eucharistic anamnesis and the once-for-all offering remaining perpetually in effect); Hebrews 12:22–24 / 2 Maccabees 12:45–46 (the whole Church in assembly; the Hours reaching every soul in every state).

Three findings of greatest theological significance: First, the double VIP disclosure — fusion unconditionally giving the influence of divine life to all creatures, and every soul entering purgatory marked by the Hours — establishes the Hours of the Passion as a universal soteriological mechanism: the cosmos is ordered by them, every soul is touched by them, and Christ’s Life is repeated through them. Second, the Hours as the restraining mechanism of the CEA-1 chastisement arc — the most direct statement yet of how the DW soul’s intercessory life relates to the judgment that sin merits and love defers. Third, “I feel my own Life being repeated” as ECA-1’s Passion-anamnesis register at full deployment: the praying of the Hours in the Divine Will is a genuine Passion-anamnesis in which the blood, wounds, and anxieties of Christ are made truly present and newly operative through the co-praying soul.

12-1917-05-16

VIP confirmed (x2) — numbers TBD: Hogan places two explicit vip markers. (1) “Every time the creature fuses herself in Me, she gives the influence of Divine Life to all creatures” — Hogan: “put VIP and anything else you can put on that.” (2) “There is not a soul who enters Purgatory without carrying the mark of the Hours of the Passion” — Hogan: “please put a huge VIP.” Both are confirmed VIPs. Sequential numbers fall after the five outstanding candidates (#23–#28 range).

ECA-1 — Passion-anamnesis register at full deployment: “As souls do these Hours of the Passion, I feel my Blood, my wounds, my anxieties to save souls, being put in motion, and I feel my own Life being repeated.” The Hours function as a Passion-anamnesis — the blood, wounds, and anxieties of Christ made genuinely present and newly operative through the co-praying soul. The most complete ECA-1 Passion-anamnesis statement in the corpus. Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 11:24–26; Hebrews 10:14; Revelation 5:6.

CEA-1 — Hours as cosmic restraining mechanism: “These Hours are the order of the Universe; they put Heaven and earth in harmony, and restrain Me from sending the world to ruin.” The Hours are the specific intercessory mechanism that holds back the ruin the world’s accumulated sin merits — the most direct statement yet of how the DW soul’s intercessory fusing relates to the chastisement arc. Governing anchors: Colossians 1:16–17; Genesis 18:23–32; Ezekiel 22:30; Romans 3:25.

Universal soteriological function of the Hours: Every soul entering purgatory carries the Hours’ mark; every soul flying into heaven is accompanied by them. The Hours are not a private devotion but the intercessory mechanism by which Christ’s Passion reaches every soul in every state of the Church. Governing anchors: Hebrews 12:22–24; 2 Maccabees 12:45–46; Colossians 1:20.

Hogan — conditional efficacy specification: The Hours produce their universal effects only when prayed in the Divine Will, not as an ordinary devotion. “If you just read them as an ordinary devotion, no — it must be done specifically fused in the divine will.” Doctrinal specification not present in the diary text; supplied by Hogan.
