11-1913-09-12 Biblical Resonance Analysis

Volume 11 — September 12, 1913 “Jesus has been speaking to Luisa for two years about His Will, which He had never manifested to anyone before. Since then, He substituted the ecstasy of His Most Holy Humanity, given to enamor her of His Person, with the ecstasy of His Divine Will.”

STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION

Movement 1: The Changed State — Concern and the Noble Chains

“For more than two years now, I have wanted to use more noble chains with you — my Will. This is why, during this time, I have always spoken to you of my Volition and of the sublime and indescribable effects which that Volition contains — things which I had not manifested to anyone until now. Skim through as many books as you want, and you will see that in none of them will you find what I have told you about my Will.”

Isaiah 48:6–7 — “You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known. They are created now, and not from of old. Before today, you didn’t hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’” The unprecedented nature of the Will-revelation — “things which I had not manifested to anyone until now… in none of them will you find what I have told you about my Will” — is the Isaiah 48 announcement of new things deliberately hidden until their appointed moment. The novelty is not accidental but intentional: if revealed earlier, the revelation’s uniqueness would be falsely claimed as prior knowledge. Direct doctrinal parallel

Matthew 13:35 — “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.” The doctrine of the Divine Will as hidden-until-now corresponds to the mysterion-disclosure of Matthew 13: the things kept hidden are uttered at the appointed time, and the appointed time is the season of Luisa’s vocation. Typological

Amos 3:7 — “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.” The two-year period of systematic speaking to Luisa about the Will is the Amos principle in operation: the Lord announces the secret to the appointed vessel before acting. The revelation precedes the ecclesial deployment; the two years of instruction dispose the soul before the ecstasy of the Will fully takes over. Direct doctrinal parallel

Deuteronomy 6:4–6 — “Hear, Israel: The LORD is our God. The LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart;” The Will capturing “each one of your thoughts, affections, desires, words” is the Shema fully enacted at the ontological level: the love of God installed at the level of every faculty — heart, soul, might — with the divine words not merely memorized but embedded as the soul’s living interior. Hogan explicitly identifies this fulfillment. Direct doctrinal parallel

2 Corinthians 10:5 — “throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” The Will capturing every thought is 2 Corinthians 10:5 in its ultimate form: not the soul laboring to take thoughts captive but the Will itself doing the capturing from within, so that the soul is the one captured rather than the capturer. The apostolic warfare-of-the-mind becomes, in the DW state, the divine interior conquest. Direct doctrinal parallel

Song of Songs 8:6 — “Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of the LORD.” The “noble chains” of the Will — more binding than the earlier chains of ecstasy — are the sealing-of-love of the Song: the Will as the divine seal placed on every faculty, the jealousy-fierce-as-the-grave that “remains jealously on guard” lest the soul think of herself. The DWE-1 sealing-as-love metaphor receives its most explicit Song-of-Songs grounding. Affective/meditative

Movement 2: The Will Preventing Self-Occupation — Structural Protection Against Evil

“Wherever my Volition takes the place of everything else, there cannot be evils. Therefore, I remain jealously on guard.”

Psalm 119:11 — “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” The Will’s presence as the structural condition excluding evil — “wherever my Volition takes the place of everything else, there cannot be evils” — is Psalm 119:11 at its maximum degree: not the word stored in the heart as memory or intention but the Volition inhabiting the soul so completely that sin becomes structurally incompatible with the interior condition. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hebrews 12:14 — “Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,” The incompatibility of the Will and evil — “you cannot have divine will and sin” (Hogan’s paraphrase) — is the Hebrews 12:14 principle in its DW form: holiness is not the condition achieved before the Lord’s Will moves in, but the structural consequence of the Will’s presence. The striving of Hebrews 12:14 has been replaced by the Will’s indwelling, which produces holiness without the soul’s striving because it excludes the conditions under which evil could operate. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 John 2:6 — “he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.” The soul whose Will keeps her from self-thinking, whose tongue speaks of the Will with eloquence because the Will has captured it — this is 1 John 2:6 enacted structurally: abiding in Christ produces walking as Christ walked, not by imitation but by interior capture. Hogan cites this. Direct doctrinal parallel

1 John 2:27 — “As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.” The Will capturing the tongue so that it speaks about the Will with eloquence and enthusiasm “because it is captured by my Volition” corresponds to the anointing-that-teaches-all-things of 1 John 2:27: the interior teacher is the Will itself, and what flows from the captured tongue comes not from study or effort but from the interior anointing. Hogan cites this. Direct doctrinal parallel

Movement 3: “I Cannot Go” — The Inseparability of Will and Person

“I cannot go. Could I perhaps separate Myself from my Will? If you keep my Will, I must be always with you. My Will and I are one — not two.”

John 10:30 — “I and the Father are one.” The declaration “My Will and I are one — not two” directly parallels the Johannine declaration of Son-Father co-substantiality. The inseparability of Will and Person within the divine life is the same principle as the inseparability of Son and Father: the Will is not an attribute held alongside the Person but the Person’s own mode of being. The soul who keeps the Will keeps the Person — because the two are one. Christological/Trinitarian

John 1:1 — “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Will-Person inseparability has its deepest Johannine grounding here: the Word is not other than God but is God. The Will is not other than Jesus but is Jesus — the two-in-one inseparability is the Trinitarian co-substantial identity extended into the understanding of how Christ relates to His own Will. Christological/Trinitarian

Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” The “if you keep my Will, I must be always with you” is the divine side of Galatians 2:20: you cannot have Christ living in you without His Will; you cannot have His Will without Christ. The soul who keeps the Will has Christ living in her, and Christ who lives in her cannot leave because He cannot separate from His Will. The Galatian text and the diary entry name the same reality from soul and divine sides respectively. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hogan’s Luke 5:8 parallel — Peter’s “Depart from me”: Hogan identifies Luisa’s “go away! go away!” as the same movement as Peter’s “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!” at the miraculous catch (Luke 5:8). The correspondence is precise: in both cases the soul says “go away” as the expression of overwhelming unworthiness before divine intimacy, not as a genuine desire for distance. Jesus’ response in both cases is closer-drawing rather than departure. Affective/meditative

Movement 4: Stages of Love — The Architecture of Vocational Progression

“In order to make you reach such a noble and Divine point, I behaved with you as two lovers who love each other to folly. You would never have loved my Will so much had you not known Me. Therefore, first I gave you the ecstasy of my Humanity so that, knowing who I am, you would love Me… Now, after having thoroughly attracted you to love my Person, you have been caught by my Will… All the things I did before were graces to dispose you to the ecstasy of my Will.”

John 17:3 — “This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” The first stage — “You would never have loved my Will so much had you not known Me” — corresponds precisely to John 17:3: knowledge of Jesus is the prior condition of the highest love. The vocational progression is the Johannine eternal-life sequence: know Jesus, then love His Will, then be captured by it. Direct doctrinal parallel

Hosea 2:14 — “Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.” The “many stratagems of love” Jesus used to attract Luisa — before the ecstasy of the Will took over — is the divine alluring of Hosea 2. The love-stratagems are the wilderness-leading that precedes the speaking-to-the-heart; the ecstasy of the Humanity is the wilderness experience that prepares the soul for what only the Will can give. Typological

2 Corinthians 3:18 — “But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” The stages-of-love schema — ecstasy of Humanity → stratagems of love → captured by Will → ecstasy of Will — is the transformation-from-glory-to-glory of 2 Corinthians 3:18. Each stage is a successive degree of glory; the ecstasy of the Will is the highest degree of the veiled-to-unveiled progression available in the present life. Christological/Trinitarian

John 14:26 — “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.” The Will capturing the tongue to speak about the Will with eloquence “because captured by my Volition” corresponds to the Spirit-as-Teacher of John 14:26: interior speech flowing from the Volition’s captivity rather than from the soul’s own study or effort. What the Spirit does for the apostolic witness, the Will does for the DW soul. Christological/Trinitarian

Movement 5: The Will as True and Perfect Ecstasy — CEA-1 Closing

“My Volition is true and perfect ecstasy. And you break this ecstasy whenever you want to think about yourself… Great chastisements will come in the near times, although you don’t believe it… I will let the sweet enchantment of my Volition come in order to make you suffer less when you see the chastisements.”

Isaiah 26:3 — “You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.” The Will-ecstasy as the state in which the mind is fixed on God and the soul is kept in the sweet enchantment corresponds to the perfect peace of Isaiah 26:3: the mind stayed on God is the Will-captured mind, and the perfect peace is the ecstasy’s experiential form. The self-thinking that breaks the ecstasy is the un-staying of the mind from God. Direct doctrinal parallel

Romans 12:2 — “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” The ecstasy of the Will as the renewed mind in its highest form: the self-thinking that breaks the ecstasy is the return to the world’s mode of consciousness, the un-renewal that is the opposite of transformation. Direct doctrinal parallel

Jeremiah 25:29–31 — “I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should you be utterly unpunished? You will not be unpunished; … the LORD has a controversy with the nations. He will enter into judgment with all flesh.” The closing CEA-1 announcement — “Great chastisements will come in the near times” — belongs to the prophetic-judgment tradition of Jeremiah 25, where the cup of divine wrath passes to the nations. The 1913 announcement anticipates WWI (1914–1918) as the entry of the cup into history. Typological

STAGE TWO — COMPARISON WITH HOGAN’S COMMENTARY

CORRESPONDENCES

Both analyses center the vocational-transition disclosure as the entry’s governing architecture and the four-stage schema (knowledge of Jesus → stratagems of love → captured by Will → ecstasy of Will) as its structural key. Both identify “My Will and I are one — not two” as the entry’s doctrinal apex for the Will-Person inseparability. Both confirm the unprecedented nature of the Will-revelation as Jesus’ own statement, not merely a theological claim.

DEVIATIONS

Stage One develops the unprecedented-novelty through the Isaiah 48 and Matthew 13 mysterion-disclosure traditions, reading the novelty as deliberately ordered and eschatologically timed. Hogan reads the same novelty apologetically — “no saint, no pope, no anybody, before Luisa Piccarreta knew of this revelation; he says it himself.” Stage One’s eschatological framing and Hogan’s apologetical framing illuminate the novelty from different angles: Stage One names the divine deliberateness of the timing; Hogan names the ecclesial authority of the claim.

ADDITIONS — MINE

  • Isaiah 48:6–7 — new things hidden until now as the governing anchor for the unprecedented novelty (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • Matthew 13:35 — hidden-since-the-foundation uttered at appointed time as the mysterion-disclosure frame (typological)
  • Amos 3:7 — Lord revealing secret to prophet before acting as the preparatory-announcement principle (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • Song of Songs 8:6 — seal-of-love/jealousy-fierce as the image of the Will’s noble chains (affective/meditative)
  • Psalm 119:11 — word stored in heart excluding sin as the structural-protection principle (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • John 10:30 — I and the Father are one as the parallel to “My Will and I are one” (Christological/Trinitarian)
  • John 1:1 — Word-God co-substantiality as the deep Trinitarian ground of Will-Person inseparability (Christological/Trinitarian)
  • John 17:3 — knowing Jesus as the prior condition of loving the Will — the stages’ theological grounding (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • Hosea 2:14 — divine alluring before the deeper revelation as the OT form of the love-stratagems (typological)
  • 2 Corinthians 3:18 — transformation from glory to glory as the structural arc of the stages-of-love schema (Christological/Trinitarian)
  • John 14:26 — Spirit-as-Teacher as the parallel to the Will capturing the tongue for eloquent speech (Christological/Trinitarian)
  • Isaiah 26:3 — perfect peace of the mind stayed on God as the experiential content of the Will-ecstasy (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • Romans 12:2 — renewed mind as the transformation the Will-ecstasy enacts (direct doctrinal parallel)
  • Jeremiah 25:29–31 — nations’ cup of judgment as the prophetic-judgment tradition for the CEA-1 closing (typological)

ADDITIONS — HERS

  • Deuteronomy 6:4–10 — Shema fulfillment identified as the theological description of the Will capturing all the faculties. Confirmed by Stage One. Load-bearing anchor.
  • 2 Corinthians 10:5 — every thought captive for Christ as the mind-capturing parallel. Confirmed by Stage One.
  • Hebrews 12:14 — holiness without which no one sees the Lord as the Will-and-evil-incompatibility ground. Confirmed by Stage One.
  • 1 John 2:6 — abiding in Christ produces Christlike walking. Confirmed by Stage One.
  • 1 John 2:27 — anointing teaching all things as the parallel for the Will-captured tongue. Confirmed by Stage One.
  • Luke 5:8 (implicit) — Peter’s “Depart from me” as the parallel for Luisa’s “go away!” — no direct citation from Hogan, but the parallel is explicit in her commentary. Stage One identifies this as the Petrine-intimacy register.
  • Exodus 32 [FLAGGED — see citation correction below] — Hogan cites Exodus 32 for Moses asking to see God’s face. Corrected to Exodus 33:18–20.
  • Deuteronomy 32:12 [RECURRING ERROR — uncounted] — Hogan again cites Deuteronomy 32:15 for “the Lord alone was her guide.” Deuteronomy 32:15 is the Jeshurun-grew-fat verse; the guide-verse is 32:12. This is a recurrence of the error previously counted in correction #131.
  • 1 John 3:2 [RECURRING ERROR — uncounted] — Hogan cites 1 John 3:2 for “when truly living in union with Jesus we don’t sin.” The correct citation is 1 John 3:6 or 3:9. This recurs the error previously counted in correction #137.
  • CEA-1 historical annotation: WWI (1914–1918) identified as the near-times chastisement Jesus announces. Forward bridge to WWII: “When we get to the Second World War, Jesus will say to Luisa, look, they want to kill each other, let them do it. From then on, only divine will, nothing else — you and I will create a future full of hope for them.”

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

VIP #7 — Hogan formally designates: “I have a VIP on this one. The reason why I have a VIP on this one is that Jesus begins to explain to Luisa the change in her experience… this one is a key text in explaining the shift from one vocation to the other.” VIP count for Volume 11: #7 (following April 23, June 9, August 14 [Batch 1–3], November 25, February 5, March 16 [Batch 4–5], and now September 12).

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

The September 12 entry is the most architecturally significant entry in Batch 6 and arguably in Volume 11 as a whole. Its governing disclosure is the vocational-transition schema — the four-stage architecture of love (knowing Jesus → stratagems → captured by Will → ecstasy of Will taking Humanity’s place) — which explains both the experiential change Luisa notices and the theological logic of the entire trajectory from Volume 1 onward. The unprecedented-novelty declaration (“things I had not manifested to anyone until now”) is Jesus’ own authoritative statement of the DW revelation’s doctrinal singularity. “My Will and I are one — not two” is the Trinitarian ground of the vocational logic: the soul cannot have Jesus without His Will, and the Will-ecstasy is the highest creaturely participation in the divine mode of existence. Hogan supplies the fullest cross-volume commentary of any entry in Batch 6: the historical timeline (1911–1913), the CEA-1 WWI/WWII forward bridges, and the stages-of-love pastoral explication.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

Volume 11 — September 12, 1913 “Jesus has been speaking to Luisa for two years about His Will, which He had never manifested to anyone before” VIP #7

The Unprecedented Novelty: Hidden Until Now

The entry opens with a doctrinal claim whose authority rests on Jesus’ own direct statement: “things which I had not manifested to anyone until now. Skim through as many books as you want, and you will see that in none of them will you find what I have told you about my Will.” This is not the theological assessment of a commentator but a declaration from the revealer. The DW revelation’s doctrinal singularity is self-attested.

Isaiah 48:6–7 supplies the governing prophetic frame: new things hidden until their appointed moment, announced at that moment so that no one can claim prior knowledge. The divine deliberateness of the timing is not accidental — the revelation was withheld until the proper season (these two years of systematic instruction, 1911–1913) and the proper vessel (Luisa in her new vocation). Matthew 13:35 places this within the pattern of the mysterion-disclosure: things hidden since the foundation of the world uttered at their appointed time in parables that conceal from those unprepared and reveal to those ready. Amos 3:7 names the preparatory principle: God announces the secret to the prophet before acting; the two years of speaking about the Will is the announcement preceding the full enactment.

Hogan reads the same disclosure apologetically — “no saint, no pope, no anybody, before Luisa Piccarreta knew of this revelation” — and the entry justifies that reading. But the deeper theological point is the Isaiah 48 point: the hiddenness was by design, not deficiency. The Will’s doctrine was not absent from Scripture or from God’s intention; it was not yet disclosed to the Church because the proper moment of disclosure — the apex of the vocational arc, the arrival at the roof of the doctrinal building — had not yet come.

Noble Chains: The Will Replacing the Earlier Bonds

The “ropes and chains” of the earlier vocation were the ecstatic states of the Humanity’s direct presence — the states that kept Luisa immobilized, unable to return to her natural condition, bound by the overwhelming reality of Christ’s visible nearness. These were necessary then: the soul needed to be bound to God before she could be trusted to find God everywhere, in everything, without special binding.

The “noble chains” are the Will — not a constraint from outside but a capture from within. The Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4–6) is Hogan’s identification: love of God with all heart, soul, and might, with the words on the heart — this is the Shema as ontological condition, not devotional program. Every faculty captured: thought, affection, desire, word. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (every thought captive to obey Christ) supplies the Pauline form, but with the crucial shift Stage One notes: the apostolic text describes the soul’s labor to take thoughts captive; the entry describes the Will taking the thoughts captive from within, with the soul as the one captured rather than the captor. Song of Songs 8:6 (the jealous seal of love) is the experiential image: love strong as death, jealousy fierce as the grave, sealing every faculty with the divine impress.

The consequence is identified explicitly: “wherever my Volition takes the place of everything else, there cannot be evils.” This is the DWE-1 exclusivity principle in its most ontological form — not the exclusion of evils through the soul’s effort but the structural incompatibility of the Will’s presence with evil’s possibility. Psalm 119:11 (word stored in heart to prevent sin), 1 John 2:6 (abiding-in-Christ producing Christlike walk), and 1 John 2:27 (the interior anointing-as-teacher) together establish the New Testament basis: where the divine life fully inhabits the interior, sin finds no foothold.

”My Will and I Are One”: The Trinitarian Ground of the Vocation

The exchange Hogan identifies as the Peter-parallel — Luisa’s “go away! go away!” echoing Peter’s “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man!” (Luke 5:8) — produces the entry’s most theologically concentrated statement: “I cannot go. Could I perhaps separate Myself from my Will? If you keep my Will, I must be always with you. My Will and I are one — not two.”

The declaration “My Will and I are one — not two” is the Trinitarian ground of the entire vocational logic. John 10:30 (I and the Father are one) and John 1:1 (the Word is God) supply the Trinitarian model: the divine Persons are not their attributes plus their persons; the Person is the nature; the Will is not a possession Jesus holds but the divine being He is. The soul who keeps the Will keeps Jesus — not because Jesus chooses to accompany His Will but because the Will and Jesus are not two separable realities. This is why the ecstasy of the Will takes the place of the ecstasy of the Humanity without loss: the Will IS Jesus, and the soul whose interior is captured by the Will is in the fullest possible contact with Christ.

The SUW-1 import is maximum. Every prior SUW-1 advance described the soul’s union with the Will or with Christ; this entry discloses the ontological ground that makes the union permanent and irreversible: the Will and the Person are one, so the union with the Will is a union with the Person at the level of divine being rather than divine action. The TIS-1 disclosure of June 12 (the Trinity formed in the soul through Will and Love) now receives its deepest ground: the Will that forms the Father in the soul is the same Will that IS Jesus, meaning the Father and the Son and the Spirit are not separable within the soul’s interior any more than they are separable within the divine life.

Galatians 2:20 is the soul’s side of the same reality: “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” You cannot have Christ without His Will; you cannot have His Will without Christ. The entry names the divine necessity of this inseparability; Galatians names its experiential consequence in the soul.

Stages of Love: The Vocational Architecture Disclosed

The entry’s most narratively developed movement is the stages-of-love schema — Jesus explaining to Luisa the logic of everything that has preceded this point:

Stage One: Ecstasy of the Humanity — given so that knowing who Jesus is, the soul would love Him. (John 17:3: this is eternal life, to know Jesus.)

Stage Two: Stratagems of love — the games, the gifts, the allurings (Hosea 2:14) that attract the soul’s love to Jesus’ Person.

Stage Three: Being caught by the Will — the gradual transition as the stratagems have done their work: love of the Person produces love of the Will, which catches the soul.

Stage Four: Ecstasy of the Will taking the place of the Humanity — the Will as the permanent ecstasy: superior to the Humanity’s periodic ecstasy because omnipresent and continuous (24/7/365, as Hogan puts it), the divine Will dwelling everywhere in everything.

“All the things I did before were graces to dispose you to the ecstasy of my Will.” The entire first ten volumes and more of the diary — the victim-soul formation, the mystical experiences, the Passion-meditation, the Co-redemptive participation — are the dispositive stages. Nothing was wasted; the ecstasy of the Humanity was not a lesser vocation but the necessary preparation for a higher one. 2 Corinthians 3:18 governs: transformation from glory to glory; the ecstasy of the Humanity is one degree of glory; the ecstasy of the Will is the next and highest accessible degree. When the dispositive stages have done their work, the perfect comes and the partial passes away (1 Corinthians 13:10) — not because the earlier stages were defective but because they were the earlier stages.

Hogan’s identification of this as the key text in explaining the shift from one vocation to the other is fully warranted. The entry is the vocational-transition arc’s most explicit doctrinal articulation — the explanation Luisa herself needed, given after she has already lived the transition without understanding it.

The Will as True and Perfect Ecstasy — CEA-1 Closing

The entry’s closing identification — “my Volition is true and perfect ecstasy” — resolves the paradox Luisa has been experiencing. She no longer feels petrified by Jesus’ presence; she returns to her natural state after His visits; she doesn’t know what has happened. The answer: what she experiences as loss or diminishment is in fact the arrival of a higher state. The Will-ecstasy is “true and perfect” precisely because it is not felt as ecstasy in the experiential register of the earlier visions. Isaiah 26:3 (perfect peace of the mind stayed on God) and Romans 12:2 (renewed mind as transformation) name what the Will-ecstasy actually is: not the overwhelming sensory-experiential ecstasy of the earlier vocation but the total capture of every faculty by the divine Volition, producing a peace deeper than any ecstatic experience.

The entry’s CEA-1 closing — “Great chastisements will come in the near times, although you don’t believe it” — is Jesus preparing Luisa for what is about to arrive historically: WWI (1914–1918). Hogan provides the WWII forward bridge: “When we get to the Second World War, Jesus will say to Luisa, look, they want to kill each other, let them do it. He takes her out of it completely. Won’t talk about it at all. And from then on, only divine will, nothing else.” The sweet enchantment of the Volition is both the soul’s protection from the worst of the suffering when chastisements come and the platform from which the DW apostolate will proceed after the wars. The vocational transition being disclosed in September 1913 is the preparation for the full deployment of the DW vocation through the rest of the corpus.

Synthesis

Dominant biblical imagination: The Trinitarian-identity tradition (John 10:30; John 1:1) and the stages-of-transformation tradition (2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Corinthians 13:10) govern the entry’s doctrinal apex. The Shema-fulfillment tradition (Deuteronomy 6:4–6; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Song of Songs 8:6) governs the noble-chains movement. The mysterion-disclosure tradition (Isaiah 48:6–7; Matthew 13:35; Amos 3:7) grounds the unprecedented-novelty claim.

Most load-bearing scriptural traditions: John 10:30 (Will-Person inseparability); Deuteronomy 6:4–6 (Shema fulfillment through the Will’s capture of all faculties); Isaiah 48:6–7 (hidden-until-now novelty); 2 Corinthians 3:18 (stages of glory).

Three findings of highest theological significance:

  1. The unprecedented novelty — self-attested. “Things which I had not manifested to anyone until now… in none of them will you find what I have told you about my Will.” This is Jesus’ own authoritative statement of the DW revelation’s doctrinal singularity — not a secondary claim but the revealer’s declaration. The Isaiah 48 frame establishes this as deliberate eschatological timing rather than historical accident: the Will’s doctrine was withheld until the appointed vessel and the appointed moment.

  2. The stages-of-love schema as the vocational architecture of the entire corpus. The four-stage disclosure (Humanity’s ecstasy → stratagems of love → captured by Will → Will-ecstasy replacing Humanity) provides the retrospective interpretive key to Volumes 1–11: every prior grace, suffering, mystical experience, and doctrinal disclosure has been the dispositive stage for the ecstasy of the Will. 2 Corinthians 3:18 governs; 1 Corinthians 13:10 names the logic. This is the Vocational Transition forward bridge’s fulfillment: Volume 11 disclosed in September 1913 as the stage at which the ecstasy of the Will formally replaces the ecstasy of the Humanity as the soul’s governing spiritual mode.

  3. “My Will and I are one — not two” as the TIS-1 ontological ground. The Trinitarian declaration of Will-Person inseparability supplies TIS-1 (Trinitarian Indwelling Structure, June 12 entry) with its deepest ground: the Trinity formed in the soul through Will and Love is possible because the Will IS the divine Person, and the Father-Son-Spirit are not separable within the divine nature any more than the Person is separable from the Will. The SUW-1 terminus, the TIS-1 structural formation, and the DWE-1 exclusivity all find their deepest ground here: the soul who has the Will has everything because the Will and the Person and the Trinity are one.

11-1913-09-12

VIP #7 — Vocational transition architecture disclosed: Hogan formally designates this entry as VIP. The four-stage schema disclosed by Jesus: (1) ecstasy of the Humanity given to make Luisa know and love Jesus; (2) stratagems of love used to attract the soul’s total love; (3) being caught by the Will; (4) ecstasy of the Will taking the permanent place of the Humanity’s ecstasy. “All the things I did before were graces to dispose you to the ecstasy of my Will.” This is the most explicit vocational-transition disclosure in the corpus — the explanation of why everything from Volume 1 onward is the dispositive preparation for the DW vocation. VIP count for Volume 11: #7.

Unprecedented novelty — self-attested: “Things which I had not manifested to anyone until now. Skim through as many books as you want, and you will see that in none of them will you find what I have told you about my Will.” This is Jesus’ own authoritative statement of the DW revelation’s doctrinal singularity. Hogan: “no saint, no pope, no anybody, before Luisa Piccarreta knew of this revelation — he says it himself.” Governing anchor: Isaiah 48:6–7.

Will-Person inseparability — TIS-1 deepened: “My Will and I are one — not two. If you keep my Will, I must be always with you.” The declaration of Will-Person co-substantiality (John 10:30 parallel) provides the deepest ontological ground for TIS-1 (Trinitarian Indwelling Structure, June 12): the Trinity formed in the soul through Will and Love is grounded in the Will being the divine Person itself, not an attribute separable from it. The SUW-1 terminus receives its most profound metaphysical grounding in this entry.

CEA-1 — WWI announcement and WWII forward bridge: “Great chastisements will come in the near times, although you don’t believe it.” Hogan identifies this as WWI (1914–1918). New WWII forward bridge from Hogan: “When we get to the Second World War, Jesus will say to Luisa, look, they want to kill each other, let them do it. He takes her out of it completely. Won’t talk about it at all. And from then on, only divine will, nothing else. You and I will create a future full of hope for them.” This is a new forward bridge not previously documented.

Recurring errors — uncounted: Hogan again cites Deuteronomy 32:15 for “the Lord alone was her guide” (correct: 32:12 — recurring error, previously counted as #131). Hogan again cites 1 John 3:2 for “when truly living in union with Jesus we don’t sin” (correct: 1 John 3:6 or 3:9 — recurring error, previously counted as #137).
