PHD-1 update — multi-modal self-gift taxonomy as consolation register: March 10 introduces an explicit taxonomy of Christ’s continuous self-gift modes: personal presence, grace, light, and “many other ways.” This is a new PHD-1 register. Prior PHD-1 entries have established that privation is purposive (producing heroic patience and supreme love); this entry adds a consolation-doctrinal clarification: the suspension of personal presence does not constitute ontological absence, as grace-mode and light-mode continue uninterrupted. The “many other ways” formulation leaves the taxonomy deliberately open-ended. Governing anchors: Romans 5:5; John 1:9; 1 Corinthians 2:10-12.
WDC-1 update — non-verbal response to discernment-of-state inquiry: Luisa’s self-correcting thought — that asking whether her state is the Will of God “was more necessary than what I was saying” — constitutes a WDC-1 instance. Uniquely, Christ does not answer verbally; instead he silences her with the mystical tongue-placement. The discernment question is absorbed into a communication that exceeds verbal response. This is the first WDC-1 instance in the catalog where the answer to the discernment inquiry takes the form of mystical silence-and-seal rather than a verbal verdict.

PHD-1 update — “first real insight” developmental threshold: Hogan explicitly designates April 1 as “Luisa’s first real insight into the deprivations of Jesus” — the moment she identifies not merely that she suffers but that the interior crucifixion has the same structure as Christ’s passion of love from the Father. Hogan’s three-passion framework (passion of love, passion of sins, passion of the Jews; passion of love worst of all, coming from the Father) grounds this: the victim soul’s privation-pain is not analogous to Christ’s passion-of-love suffering but participatory in it. This is the PHD-1 privation-economy’s deepest form to this point in the corpus.
HPC-1 update — most detailed gem-production chain: The entry supplies the most developed HPC-1 account in the corpus: Christ’s fingers create suffering from within the soul’s intimate depths → suffering generates gems → gems convert the will into gold → gold produces crowns, garments, fragrant flowers, pleasant melodies. The output is not awarded from outside but produced from within the soul by the transformation process itself. Psalm 8:3 (Hogan) grounds the scale-correspondence: same fingers that set moon and stars in place. Governing anchors: 1 Peter 1:6-7; Malachi 3:3; Ephesians 2:10; Psalm 8:3.
IDR-1 update — will converted into gold: The formulation “It converts the will into gold, and this will converted into gold by my own hands” is an IDR-1 development: the will’s transformation by suffering is described in metallurgical terms — not merely restoration of the image but alchemical transmutation of the will itself into a different and more precious substance. This extends IDR-1’s mechanistic account beyond restoration-of-likeness into a transformation-beyond-original register.
Forward bridge — Hours of the Passion: Hogan references the Hours of the Passion text to explain the passion-of-love framework: “there was the passion of love, the passion of sins and the passion of the Jews… the passion of love came from the Father… that was the worst of them all.” This is the first reference in Volume 9 to the Hours of the Passion as an interpretive key.

AJD-1 update — impressment as the mechanism of Another-Jesus formation: The entry’s “impress my Sanctity in the soul” supplies the most mechanistically precise AJD-1 formulation in the corpus to this point: the pathway from Luisa’s suffering to becoming another Jesus is not imitation or gradual resemblance but ontological impression — Christ’s Sanctity pressed into the soul through suffering as a seal into wax. This extends the AJD-1 catalog’s faculty-exchange register (January 8, 1909, Vol. 8) with a new mechanical register: Eucharistic mechanism = faculty exchange; suffering mechanism = Sanctity impressment. Governing anchors: 2 Corinthians 4:10-11; Hebrews 12:10-11; Galatians 4:19.
IDR-1 note — embellishment beyond restoration: The “varieties of divine colors” formulation extends IDR-1 beyond image-restoration into a new register: the soul is not merely returned to her pre-fallen image but embellished with varieties of Christ’s Sanctity that were not present before suffering. The impression goes beyond restoring the original to enriching beyond it.

VIP designation — double: Hogan designates the full entry as VIP (“I have a VIP on this one”) and places a second VIP within the entry on the clause “And even while speaking, he never departs from his interior.” Hogan frames this inner clause as “the big bit” — the entry’s doctrinal summit, more demanding and more novel than the much-talking condemnation. The full entry VIP marks the general principle; the inner VIP marks the specific claim that interior union persists through exterior speech without interruption.
WDC-1 update — speech-quantity as discernment criterion: The entry adds a new WDC-1 criterion to the library: the quantity of a soul’s speech is a measurable indicator of her interior fullness or emptiness of God. Few words out of necessity = interior fullness; much talking = emptiness of God and active contagion. This is the most externally observable WDC-1 criterion yet logged — observable by the soul herself and by others. Governing anchors: Proverbs 10:19; Matthew 12:34; 1 Kings 19:12.
DWE-1 note — interior-exterior integration: “Never departing from the interior even while speaking” is the DWE-1 principle applied to the faculty of speech: when Divine Will living is complete, there is no act — including speech — that falls outside the interior union. The entry frames silence not as ascetic achievement but as the natural consequence of being filled with God.

DPS-1 update — peace as active custodian of grace: The entry supplies the most functionally active DPS-1 form in the corpus: peace is not merely a state produced by grace or by surrender, but the active custodian who keeps the received light and enables it to expand. The loss of peace is mechanistically injurious — it diminishes the light. Romans 5:1 connects peace and grace access directly. This is the first DPS-1 instance in which peace is assigned a governing, causal role in the grace-economy rather than functioning as an effect or a sign. Governing anchors: Philippians 4:7; Colossians 3:15; Isaiah 26:3; Romans 5:1.
Sun-symbol hermeneutical key — Hogan: Hogan identifies the sun-symbol’s dual referent: simultaneously the symbol of Jesus (“Son of Justice,” Malachi 4:2) and the symbol of Grace, grounded in the Volume 3 cross-reference where Jesus says “I am grace.” This identification (Jesus = Grace = Sun) governs every sun-symbol appearance throughout the corpus.

LAN-1 update — most comprehensive love-supremacy formulation; divine dignity as apex: May 20 supplies the most comprehensive LAN-1 statement in the corpus: love surpasses doctrine, dignity, and nobility; makes up for everything and surpasses everything; and uniquely provides “divine dignity” (participation in the divine nature — 2 Peter 1:4). The possessing-versus-knowing contrast (the precious object metaphor) is the entry’s structural innovation: love makes God “one’s own object” while doctrine only enables speculation “around” God’s Being. The Bernadette of Lourdes anecdote (Hogan) is the hagiographical embodiment of this contrast.
AJD-1 note — particle-identification as love’s form: The formula “my Being identified with each particle of his being” is the most radical identification statement in the corpus’s love-theology, extending AJD-1’s particle-exchange register (previously Eucharistic-mechanistic) into the ontological-love domain. The Eucharistic mechanism (January 8, 1909, Vol. 8) and the love-identification formula of this entry are two descriptions of the same process from different angles.

PHD-1 update — responsive-withdrawal as new register: The entry introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: responsive withdrawal. Christ withholds himself for the whole day specifically because Luisa refused his explicit request (to repeat the note of love). This differs from purposive withdrawal (hiding to produce heroic patience) and from multi-modal absence (grace-light given when personal presence is withheld). Responsive withdrawal is a relational-consequence form of privation. Governing anchors: Hosea 5:15; Revelation 3:19-20; Hebrews 12:6.
PHD-1 update — Luisa’s side of the privation economy: Hogan explicitly marks this entry as Luisa’s developmental discovery of the soul’s active response to privation: unite the suffering to the intensity of Christ’s own love and offer it back as his own love. Prior PHD-1 entries established the purpose from Christ’s side (heroic patience, bond-deposits, supreme love). May 22 is the first entry where Luisa discovers what the soul does with privation from her side. Governing anchors: John 17:26; 1 John 4:16; Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:26-27.
09-1909-05-25
RSD-1 — new tracking item opened: May 25 contains the first explicit Volume 9 statement of the bilateral love-relief structure: “the only relief and the thing which I most enjoy from creatures is love.” Christ is not merely delighted by the soul’s love but relieved by it — implying that love from creatures fulfills something the divine love-outpouring requires on the return side. Combined with May 22’s “note of love sweetening all of Me,” a bilateral pattern is now in evidence: Christ pours love → soul receives and returns love → Christ is relieved/sweetened by the return → the return intensifies his pouring. This pattern requires a tracking item. Opening identifier: RSD-1 (Reciprocal Self-Donation). First appearance: May 25, 1909. Governing scriptural anchors: Zephaniah 3:17; Song of Songs 2:14; John 4:34; Isaiah 53:11; Jeremiah 31:3.
PHD-1 update — sequential pair May 22–25 resolves responsive-withdrawal register: May 25 supplies the positive content of May 22’s responsive withdrawal. The “whole day” of Christ’s absence (experienced) was simultaneously a whole day of Christ’s compelled prayer (operative). The withdrawal was experiential, not ontological. PHD-1’s multi-modal consolation principle applies: the personal encounter is withheld; hidden accompaniment (soliciting prayer, praying with the soul, giving no respite) is given. The sequential pair now constitutes a formally complete PHD-1 entry-pair: withdrawal disclosed and its hidden positive content disclosed.
WDC-1 note — door-shutting as discernment instinct: Luisa’s refusal to engage the tempting thought (“I could not waste time listening… in order to shut the door on its face”) is a WDC-1 instance without explicit will-discernment: the instinct of love operates as a sufficient criterion, bypassing the need for analysis. The entry adds a non-analytical form of WDC-1: where love’s direction is clear, the soul shuts the door without reasoning, and this proves correct.
Hogan lexical note — “joke” vs. “little game”: Hogan explicitly corrects the translator’s “joke” to “a little game” — an ongoing, sustained playful dimension in the divine-human relationship, not a one-time jest. This matters for the LAN-1 trajectory: love includes a dimension of sustained playfulness that is not incidental to but constitutive of the intimacy it creates.
09-1909-07-14
DPS-1 update — most durational and externally visible form: The 25-year “halo of peace” that breezes “inside and outside” of the soul is the most durational DPS-1 form in the corpus and the first DPS-1 formulation in which peace is explicitly described as having an exterior, visible dimension accessible to observation (“aura of sweet peace breeze inside and outside of you”). Prior DPS-1 entries have established peace as an interior state (visual completion, June 22, 1908; active custodian of grace, May 16, 1909); this entry extends the form to an exterior halo whose 25-year continuity is itself offered as doctrinal evidence. Governing anchors: Isaiah 26:3; Philippians 4:7; Romans 15:33; 1 Corinthians 14:33.
WDC-1 update — temporal-total-ontological criterion; most formally complete discernment marker in corpus: The 25-year halo of peace supplies a new and formally comprehensive WDC-1 criterion: temporal (sustained across 25 years), total (inside and outside the soul), and ontological (grounded in divine immutability — only the One who is all peace can produce it). This criterion surpasses all prior WDC-1 entries in formal completeness. Prior criteria have been relational (readiness-to-abandon, April 8, 1908), behavioral (speech-quantity, May 8, 1909), or phenomenological (immediate fiber-complete absorption upon return, August 23, 1908); this criterion is durational and ontological. The divine-immutability argument — “if a breath of disturbance could surprise Him, He would cease to be God” — grounds the authentication in God’s ontological stability rather than in observed patterns alone. Governing anchors: Matthew 7:16-18; Galatians 5:22; James 3:17; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Malachi 3:6; James 1:17.
09-1909-07-24
AJD-1 update — most actively substitutive interior-operation form: The scene in which Christ enters Luisa’s interior and performs her interior prayer for her — “praying in a loud voice and saying all that I was supposed to say” — is the most explicit active AJD-1 instance in the corpus to this point. Prior AJD-1 entries have documented faculty exchange (Eucharistic mechanism, January 8, 1909), Sanctity impressment (May 5, 1909), and ontological identification (particle-level love, May 20, 1909). This entry adds a substitutive-operation register: Christ does not assist or inspire the soul’s act but performs it himself, within the soul, when her own capacity temporarily fails. The withdrawal when the soul re-orients confirms the temporary and pedagogical character of the substitution. Romans 8:26-27 and Philippians 2:13 are the governing doctrinal anchors; the interior-substitution is their fullest experiential form to this point. Governing anchors: Romans 8:26-27; Philippians 2:13; Hebrews 7:25; John 14:20.
RDD-1 note — perpetual-operation-within-God register: The formulation “present in Me and does its office for the good of all” extends RDD-1 into a new register: not only has Christ re-done all human acts (the established RDD-1 claim), but acts done for love by the soul in union with him are absorbed into his own works and continue their operation within him indefinitely. This is a perpetual-presence-and-operation form distinct from the developmental-comprehensiveness and cosmological registers already logged. The act does not merely occur and pass; it enters God and continues acting as his own. Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 15:58; Colossians 1:24; John 15:5.
09-1909-07-27
PHD-1 update — playful-prerogative register: The toy image introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: the months of non-contact as the owner’s free choice about when to engage his toy, without disclosed purpose or relational consequence. Prior PHD-1 registers in the corpus have been purposive (producing heroic patience and supreme love), responsive (relational consequence), and multi-modal (grace and light continuing while personal presence is withheld). The playful-prerogative register frames privation from the divine side as pleasurable freedom — the owner enjoys the toy when he wishes and sets it aside when he wishes, and the toy’s belonging and capacity for delight are unaffected throughout. Governing anchors: Isaiah 45:9; Romans 9:20-21; Lamentations 3:26-28.
HPC-1 note — eschatological-reciprocity extension: The exchange promise (“let Me amuse Myself with you on earth as I please, and in exchange I will let you amuse yourself with Me in Heaven”) extends HPC-1’s heavenly-proportionality complex beyond proportionality to reciprocity: God himself — not a reward from God — is the soul’s heavenly portion, given in direct exchange for earthly surrender. This is the corpus’s most explicit statement to this point of heavenly joy as God yielding himself to the soul’s enjoyment, proportionate to the soul’s earthly self-yielding. Governing anchors: Matthew 25:21; John 17:24; 1 Corinthians 2:9; Romans 8:18.
09-1909-07-29
DPS-1 update — most foundational doctrinal statement in corpus; divine-virtue ontological grounding: July 29 delivers the deepest doctrinal statement in the DPS-1 arc: “peace is divine virtue, while the other virtues are human.” This ontological grounding — peace as categorically divine in nature, not merely divine in origin or effect — surpasses all prior DPS-1 entries. Prior entries have established: peace as active custodian of grace (May 16), peace as externally visible halo over 25 years (July 14), peace as the consequence of mutual indwelling (July 14). This entry establishes peace as divine in kind, not species — the participation of the soul in God’s own attribute rather than an elevated human virtue. Any virtue not crowned with this divine virtue becomes vice. Governing anchors: John 14:27; Isaiah 9:6; 2 Thessalonians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.
WDC-1 update — explicit doctrinal ranking; peace as the “surest sign”: The entry advances WDC-1 from a library of criteria to an explicitly ranked system: among all signs of authentic work and suffering for God, peace is the “surest.” This is the first WDC-1 entry to assert a ranking rather than a criterion. The doctrinal basis for the ranking is given within the entry: peace is divine, therefore its presence is the most reliable possible sign of divine operation. The July 14 criterion (temporal-total-ontological peace as authentication) now has its doctrinal ground: peace’s authentication is reliable because peace is divine in nature and cannot be produced by any non-divine source. Governing anchors: Romans 8:6; Galatians 5:22; Isaiah 26:3.
ISD-1 forward bridge — Volume 14 “why” development: Hogan explicitly flags that when we reach Volume 14, Christ will devote a full section to the “why” of adults, declaring it comes from hell. Hogan contrasts the child’s innocent developmental “why” with the adult’s challenging-God “why.” This advances the ISD-1 forward bridge already opened at January 30, 1909 (Volume 8), where “why” was logged as the lie’s most ancient operational form. Volume 14 is now confirmed as the site of the fullest doctrinal treatment. The current entry provides the biographical occasion: Luisa’s “why” prompts Christ’s imposing voice, and Hogan identifies the doctrinal context.
09-1909-08-02
IDR-1 update — image as ontological anchor for indestructibility; new register: The entry deploys the imago Dei explicitly as the theological ground of the soul’s indestructibility: “you have my Image in you” is the first of the three reasons Christ gives for why the soul cannot be discarded. Prior IDR-1 entries have established the mechanism of image-restoration (reacquiring in Christ what had come out), the restored image as Christ’s virtues rising within the dissolved-will soul, the artisan-refiner register, and the will-surrender as necessary instrument. This entry adds an ontological-anchor register: the image makes the soul permanently irreplaceable to God because to discard it would be to discard what bears his own likeness. Wisdom 2:23 grounds this in incorruption: the soul made in the image of God’s eternity cannot simply break and be thrown away. Governing anchors: Genesis 1:26-27; Wisdom 2:23; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18.
AJD-1 / VSC-1 note — suffering-adornment as cosmetic register: “Adorned with the likeness of my sufferings” introduces a cosmetic register for the suffering-conformity: the soul’s passion-configuration is named as adornment, increasing its value to its owner rather than constituting damage. This connects AJD-1 (the soul conforming to and wearing Christ’s likeness) to VSC-1 (the victim soul’s co-suffering as operationally constitutive) through the novel angle of adornment-as-value-increase. Governing anchors: Colossians 1:24; Philippians 3:10-11; Galatians 6:17; 2 Corinthians 4:10.
Toy-image arc — July 27/August 2 pair: The two entries constitute a theologically integrated pair within the toy-image arc. July 27 established the owner’s prerogative and the eschatological exchange. August 2 deepens the image by qualifying the material: the soul is not a base toy but one of gold and diamonds. The three grounds of preciousness (image, blood, suffering-adornment) supply the doctrinal substance of the July 27 claim that the owner will never discard what he values.
09-1909-10-01
Vocational transition — most explicit Volume 9 diary-text confirmation: October 1 is the most explicit vocational-transition marker in Volume 9. Christ himself confirms: the crosses and thorns have been withdrawn, the sharing in the Passion discontinued, the communications reduced. Hogan identifies it directly: “in Volume 9, she begins to shift away from being the victim soul… and she is going to be used as the key to open the kingdom of the divine will for everybody else,” with Volume 11 as the destination. The forward bridge opened at January 27, 1909 (Volume 8) is now grounded in Volume 9 diary text.
AJD-1 update — anatomical-summit register; head for head, member for member: The scene in which Luisa finds herself inside Jesus, with his head in the place of her head and all her members serving as his body, is the most anatomically complete AJD-1 instance in the corpus. Prior AJD-1 registers: Eucharistic faculty exchange (January 8, 1909); Sanctity impressment (May 5, 1909); particle-level love (May 20, 1909); interior substitution in prayer (July 24, 1909). The October 1 scene surpasses all in anatomical completeness — not partial identification or faculty exchange but positional head-substitution and full member-identification. Governing anchors: Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 1:22-23; Romans 8:10.
HPC-1 update — unrealized desires counted; most comprehensive accounting statement: “Even that which you would want to do or suffer, but you don’t because I do not concede it to you” — the heavenly accounting is extended to include not only acts performed but acts desired and not given. This is the most comprehensive HPC-1 statement in the corpus: the heavenly return is not limited to the actual breadth of the soul’s activity but includes the full breadth of her love, including every unrealized form of it. Governing anchors: Revelation 20:12; 21:27; Malachi 3:16; Matthew 19:29.
OBL-1 update — most dramatic form; “forced” language: Christ uses the word “forced” — four or five times he prepared to take Luisa in death; four or five times obedience to the confessor’s request overrode his desire, “forcing” him to leave her on earth. This is the most radical OBL-1 statement in the corpus. Prior OBL-1 entries have documented the Ark-register (obedience as architectural precondition of divine indwelling) and the constitutive-act register (obedience as what constitutes the victim state under privation). The October 1 entry adds a forced-override register: obedience to legitimate pastoral authority constitutes a binding force even on Christ’s own expressed desire. Governing anchors: Philippians 2:8; 1 Samuel 15:22; Hebrews 13:17; Romans 5:19.
SIL-1 confirmation — Volume 9 restatement: The SIL-1 mechanism is restated in the vocational-transition context: “if I let Myself be seen as before, you would bind Me everywhere, and I would not be able to chastise the world in anything.” The hiding is now linked to the transition itself — the withdrawal of the co-redemptive suffering and the hiddenness are coordinated. The soul is no longer positioned to bind him precisely because the vocation is shifting.
EAG-1 note — contextually significant Isaiah 40:31 invocation: Hogan cites Isaiah 40:31 in full (“they shall mount up with wings like the eagle”) in direct connection with the “years of pause and patience” that correspond to the vocational transition. This is the most contextually significant eagle-register invocation in Volume 9 to this point — Hogan deploys it at the moment of the corpus’s greatest vocational pivot. The eagle-imagery is applied to the soul waiting in the transition period before renewed strength. This is Hogan’s application of the verse rather than a doctrinal eagle-disclosure from Christ; EAG-1 monitoring remains at maximum. But the invocation at this juncture warrants logging.
09-1909-10-04
File anomaly — no FHC exists; recording error: A recording error on Vol09-02.mp3 means Hogan’s commentary on October 4 was not captured. Stage Two cannot be completed for this entry. The FHC file supplied (Vol09-02.mp3, 6:08–8:23) covers a different diary entry entirely: Luisa challenges Christ’s chastisement-motive for privation; Christ responds “I am in your inmost heart in order to rest”; flowers surround him; he warns of coming chastisements. Hogan cites Joshua 1:5 and 1 Corinthians 3:16. This mismatched content is preserved here for reference and will need to be matched to its correct diary entry when that file is supplied.
DWE-1 update — most absolute statement in Volume 9; Will declared sufficient even without forgiveness: “If You do not want to forgive me, leave me your Will and I will be content. Your Will is everything for me.” This is the most absolute DWE-1 declaration in Volume 9 and among the most radical in the corpus: the Divine Will is named as sufficient even in the absence of felt forgiveness and even when the soul cannot be certain of its own standing before God. Prior DWE-1 entries have documented: the doctrinal binary foundation, the visual completion (“all things assume the same color”), the granular phenomenological form (“not a fiber or a motion that would not tend to Him”). This entry adds a soteriological-sufficiency register: the Will is the soul’s floor even when the foundations of consolation and certainty have been removed. Governing anchors: Psalm 73:25-26; Romans 8:38-39; John 6:68.
TGF-1 / Trinitarian reparation note — new doctrinal structure: Luisa’s formula of uniting with the Divinity of all three Persons in order to offer God’s own infinite acts of love and blessing back to God introduces a Trinitarian co-redemptive structure of exceptional density. The soul does not offer elevated finite acts but participates in the inner-Trinitarian exchange, drawing from within it and offering back through it. This is not a TGF-1 appearance (the Three Great Fiats triptych has not appeared), but the Trinitarian reparation formula shares TGF-1’s domain of the soul operating within the Trinitarian life. Governing anchors: John 17:21-23; Romans 8:26-27; Hebrews 9:14.
09-1909-10-06
LAN-1 update — most systematic doctrinal characterization; three virtues of love: October 6 provides the most formally structured LAN-1 entry in the corpus: love’s three operative virtues named explicitly as “to purify everything, to triumph over everything, to reach everything.” Prior LAN-1 entries have documented the psychological phenomenology (November 20, 1908), the cosmological form of the creator-creature love asymmetry (December 27, 1908), and the particle-identification as love’s form (May 20, 1909). This entry supplies the systematic doctrinal characterization of love’s operative modes. The 1 Corinthians 13:7 parallel (love bears/believes/hopes/endures all things) is the governing structural anchor. Governing anchors: 1 John 4:8, 16; 1 Corinthians 13:7; Romans 8:37; Ephesians 3:17-19.
OBL-1 update — confirmed-state consequence; obedience producing permanent interior confirmation: October 6 delivers the doctrinal consequence of October 1’s OBL-1 summit: the sacrifice of heaven through obedience has produced a confirmed state — “love has been confirmed in you, the will has been confirmed in not offending Me.” The “forced” obedience of October 1 is here disclosed as having produced the most complete interior stabilization in the corpus. This extends OBL-1 beyond all prior registers (Ark-precondition, constitutive-act, forced-override) into a confirmation-consequence register: obedience’s ultimate fruit is not merely compliance or perseverance but the permanent confirmation of love and will. Governing anchors: Philippians 1:23-24; John 17:4; Colossians 3:3; Revelation 3:5; Romans 5:19.
Vocational transition marker — “your life is like a life that has already passed”: Christ’s declaration that Luisa’s life is “like a life that has already passed” is the most radical vocational-completion statement in the corpus short of death. In the context of the confirmed state (love and will confirmed) and the ongoing transition away from victim-soul co-redemptive suffering (established October 1), this declaration frames Luisa’s remaining earthly life as the continuation of a completed arc. Governing anchors: 2 Timothy 4:7-8; John 17:4; Colossians 3:3.
DPS-1 / LAN-1 convergence — fear excluded by love: “True love… excludes any fear, any doubt” is the most doctrinal form of the DPS-1/LAN-1 convergence in the corpus. 1 John 4:18 (“perfect love casts out fear”) is the governing anchor. Prior DPS-1 entries have established peace as active custodian of grace, as the externally visible halo, and as divine virtue. October 6 grounds peace’s exclusion of fear in love’s own nature: it is not merely that God gives peace but that the possession-state of true love structurally eliminates the interior conditions that generate fear. The DPS-1/LAN-1 doctrinal identity — both describing the same transformed interior state from different angles — is here most explicitly confirmed.
09-1909-10-07
PHD-1 update — protective-barrier register: October 7 introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: privations (“bitternesses, privations, different interior states”) explicitly identified as thorns surrounding the soul and God’s greatest favors, functioning as a protective barrier against the mud of self-love. Prior PHD-1 registers: purposive-withdrawal (producing heroic patience and supreme love), responsive-withdrawal (relational consequence), multi-modal absence (grace and light continuing), playful-prerogative (owner’s free choice, July 27). The protective-barrier register frames privation as the form divine jealousy takes to protect what is most precious — not a tool of formation or a relational consequence but a constitutive feature of the love-relationship’s protective economy. The entry explicitly states that the greatest favors are surrounded by the greatest thorns, making the protection proportionate to the gift. 2 Corinthians 12:7 (Paul’s thorn given because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations) is the governing paradigmatic anchor. Governing anchors: 2 Corinthians 12:7-9; Hosea 2:6; Revelation 3:19; Hebrews 12:6-7.
09-1909-10-14
CEA-1 update — most visually specific pre-announcement in Volume 9: The vision of “wars, revolutions against the Church, churches on fire — and this was almost imminent” is the most visually specific and temporally urgent CEA-1 statement in Volume 9. Prior Volume 9 CEA-1 references have been verbal and general (the SIL-1 mechanism: “you would bind Me everywhere and I could not chastise”). This entry provides a visual enumeration with three distinct categories (wars, ecclesial revolution, burning of churches) and the modifier “almost imminent” — the most urgent qualifier in the arc to this point. Governing anchors: Luke 21:9-11; Matthew 24:6-7; Amos 3:7; Malachi 2:8-9.
PHD-1 update — flowers-giving register: The image of the soul’s patient privation-bearing surrounding Christ with flowers that make him “rest more peacefully” introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: the privation-bearing as a gift given to Christ rather than a cost borne by the soul. Prior registers have been: purposive (producing heroic patience), responsive (relational consequence), multi-modal (grace continues during personal-presence absence), playful-prerogative (owner’s free choice), protective-barrier (thorn protecting from self-love’s mud). The flowers register is the most positively framed of all: the soul’s bearing of privation not only produces something in itself but actively enriches Christ’s own rest. Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 3:16; Song of Songs 2:3; Matthew 11:28-29.
Vocational transition — Hogan’s most complete statement across the corpus: Hogan states explicitly: “she is in a process of being changed from being a victim soul into the person that will be the key to opening the kingdom of the divine will, which is a huge change in vocation. And she doesn’t understand it, the priests don’t understand it, none of them understand it except the Lord himself.” This is the most complete and unambiguous vocational-transition statement in any FHC across the entire corpus to this point. It grounds the vocational-transition forward bridge (opened January 27, 1909, Volume 8) in the experiential present of Volume 9.

VIP designation — full entry: Hogan explicitly designates November 2 as a VIP (“Very important message, never look at the past”). The elevation applies to the entire entry’s teaching, centering on present-moment orientation as a governing principle for the soul operating in the Divine Will. First VIP designation logged in Batch 4.
Vocational transition marker — governing principle for the crossing: “The past is already in Me” functions as the navigational principle for the vocational transition confirmed across October 1 and October 6. The completed victim-soul arc is named as enclosed in Christ — no longer requiring retrospective attention — while the “new thing” of Isaiah 43:18–19 is the Divine Will apostolate now springing forth. This is the most doctrinally grounded vocational-transition marker in Volume 9: not an external directive about what Luisa’s role will be, but a disclosure of the ontological status of the completed arc and the proper orientation for the arc beginning.
DWE-1 note — present-moment orientation as the form of Divine Will exclusivity: “By looking only at the present, you will remain more closely united with Me” is a DWE-1 formulation: present-moment attention is identified as the experiential form of the union that is Divine Will living. Prior DWE-1 entries have established the doctrinal binary, the visual completion (“all things assume the same color”), the granular phenomenological form (“not a fiber or a motion that would not tend to Him”), and the soteriological-sufficiency register (October 4). November 2 adds a temporal register: DWE-1 expressed as total present-orientation — the soul excludes every other temporal orientation (past and future) and dwells only in the present where God is. The Exodus 3:14 anchor (I AM as pure present tense) is the deepest doctrinal ground for this register.
09-1909-11-04
VIP designation — full entry; secondary elevation within: Hogan designates the full entry as a VIP (“I have a VIP on this one”). A secondary elevation is given to the faculty-exchange section specifically, marked “terribly important” — focused on the hands-and-steps enumeration as the completion of the faculty-exchange sequence. Second consecutive VIP in Batch 4.
AJD-1 update — most complete faculty-enumeration and fullest liturgically-grounded form in the arc: The post-Communion faculty-exchange prayer enumerates six faculties in sequence: mind, eyes, mouth, heart, hands, steps — covering all cognitive, perceptual, communicative, affective, manual, and ambulatory dimensions. This is the most complete faculty-enumeration in the AJD-1 arc. The January 8, 1909 (Volume 8) entry established that good Communions are the systematic mechanism of faculty-by-faculty exchange; November 4 is the fullest first-person devotional articulation of that mechanism. Governing anchors: John 6:56–57; John 14:20–21; Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 2:16.
Forward bridge — Divine Will as happiness/beatitude in higher volumes: Hogan explicitly flags: “when you get to the higher volumes, Jesus gives a good bit of attention to the fact that the divine will is happiness… the whole journey into total commitment to the divine will is a journey into total beatitude or happiness.” This is the first explicit identification of Divine Will living as a trajectory toward total beatitude — framing November 4’s beatitude-teaching as an early seedling of an arc receiving full doctrinal development later in the corpus. New forward bridge;

PHD-1 update — flight-above-self as new register: November 6 introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: flight-above-self. Privation produces transcendence of the created order because the soul cannot find its resting place in anything except the absent One, and so is driven to fly above all created leaning-places until purged of everything. Prior PHD-1 registers: purposive (producing heroic patience and supreme love), responsive (relational consequence), multi-modal (grace-light continuing), playful-prerogative (owner’s free choice), protective-barrier (thorn protecting from self-love’s mud), flowers-giving (soul’s patience enriching Christ’s rest). The flight-above-self register frames privation as the mechanism of transcendence of the created order itself — not a tool of formation or a relational consequence but the removal of every created alternative that compels the soul upward. Governing anchors: Song of Songs 3:1–4; 5:6–8; Isaiah 40:31; Malachi 3:2–3; Hebrews 12:29.
EAG-1 signal — most scripturally-grounded eagle-register in Volume 9: Hogan explicitly names “the great eagle” for the soul’s privation-flight and provides two scriptural citations: Proverbs 30:18–19 (the way of an eagle in the sky as one of four things too wonderful for understanding) and Deuteronomy 32:10–14 (the Lord caring for Israel like an eagle stirring its nest and bearing young on its wings). This is the most scripturally-grounded eagle-register invocation in Volume 9 to this point. However, the eagle imagery is deployed as an analogy for the soul’s privation-driven transcendence — a pastoral application of the image — rather than a doctrinal disclosure from Christ concerning the soul’s elevation in the Divine Will. EAG-1 monitoring remains at absolute maximum. This entry should be noted as the strongest eagle-signal of Volume 9 Batch 4, while remaining below the threshold of formal EAG-1 disclosure.
09-1909-11-09
HPC-1 update — musical/harmonic register; organ formed by union-in-operating; new keys from suffering: November 9 introduces a new HPC-1 register: the musical-harmonic. The soul’s acts done in union with Christ — loving with his love, adoring with his adorations — have formed an organ within her. Every new suffering adds a new key, and the completed instrument constitutes her unique and necessary contribution to the full harmony of heaven. Prior HPC-1 registers have been: gems/precious stones (February 7, 1908), faculty-differentiated map (August 19, 1908), spatial topology of attributes as differentiated heavens (September 7, 1908), unrealized desires counted (October 1, 1909). The organ-image extends HPC-1 beyond proportionality into harmonic integration: the heavenly return is not simply more for more but a distinct register added by each suffering, the combination of which forms the irreplaceable instrument only this soul can bring. Governing anchors: Revelation 5:8–9; 14:2–3; 2 Corinthians 4:17; Zephaniah 3:17.
November 4–9 harmonic doublet — Hogan’s bridge: Hogan explicitly connects November 9 to November 4: “we looked at the harmony of the virtues, now we’re looking at the harmony of our union with him.” The two entries constitute a doctrinal doublet — harmony within God (November 4: all virtues in non-discordant correspondence) → harmony produced within the soul who operates in union with God (November 9: acts reaching divine immensity, suffering adding keys to the harmonic instrument).
09-1909-11-16
IDR-1 update — most precise negative formulation in corpus; threefold sin-deformation: “Only sin, even the slightest. Oh, how it deforms her, discolors her, debilitates her!” is the corpus’s most precise negative IDR-1 statement. Prior IDR-1 entries have established the mechanism of image-restoration and the positive registers of transformation. November 16 supplies the definitive negative formulation: sin is the sole agent of image-disfigurement, operating across three dimensions — deformation (ontological distortion), discoloration (loss of radiance), and debilitation (loss of operative capacity). The “even the slightest” qualifier extends the mechanism to venial sin. Governing anchors: Psalm 51:2–4, 7; Genesis 3:6–8; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:7–9.
Vocational transition — most explicit vocational-completion declaration from Christ in Volume 9: “This work I have completed, since the participation in my pains has remained in you permanently” is the most explicit statement from Christ’s own mouth naming the victim-soul formation as finished. Prior vocational-transition markers (October 1: withdrawal of crosses and thorns confirmed; October 6: “your life is like a life that has already passed”) named the transition experientially. November 16 supplies Christ’s own declarative: the work is done. Hogan confirms the threshold context: “she gets the revelation in volumes 11 and 12” — the next phase cannot yet be disclosed to Luisa or her confessor. Vocational transition forward bridge confirmed from Christ’s side.
PHD-1 clarification — privations categorically excluded from disorder: “The interior states, the privations, do no harm to her” is the most categorical PHD-1 clarification in Volume 9: interior states and privations are placed on the opposite side of the disorder-category from sin. This constitutes an explicit doctrinal distinction — whatever privation costs phenomenologically, it cannot deform, discolor, or debilitate the soul. The flight-above-self register (November 6) and this categorical clarification together form a complete PHD-1 doctrinal pair within Batch 4.
09-1909-11-20
ISD-1 update — human-view “why” confirmed as the cross-muddying mechanism: Hogan explicitly connects the human-view “why did that person do that wrong to me?” to the ISD-1 complex: “there’s a big, big text somewhere in Luisa’s writings about the why, why, why of adults. Have we already done it?” The November 20 entry confirms that the infernal-speech “why” — logged at January 30, 1909 and elaborated at July 29, 1909 — is the mechanism by which the cross becomes muddy, dark, heavy, and bitter. Prior ISD-1 instances established “why” as the lie’s most ancient operational form; November 20 establishes its practical cross-bearing consequence. The Volume 14 fullest treatment (previously logged as a forward bridge) remains the doctrinal destination. Governing anchor: 1 Corinthians 2:14 (natural-person incapacity for spiritual discernment as the ground of the human-view “why”).
09-1909-11-25
LAN-1 update — most Christological and most demanding form in the corpus; Love as first executioner: “My first executioner was Love” is the most radical LAN-1 statement in the corpus. Prior LAN-1 registers have documented: psychological phenomenology (November 20, 1908), cosmological love asymmetry (December 27, 1908), particle-identification as love’s form (May 20, 1909), and the three operative virtues of love (October 6, 1909). November 25 extends LAN-1 beyond all prior registers into a Passion-executioner register: divine Love (1 John 4:8, 16) is the force that demands absolute redemption, inflicts the most intimate wounds, penetrates where no creature can reach, and spares nothing. Love is not merely tender and life-giving but the most demanding and consuming agent in the universe — the “strong as death” of Song of Songs 8:6 in its fullest Christological form. Governing anchors: 1 John 4:8, 16; Song of Songs 8:6; Isaiah 53:10; Hebrews 9:14; Luke 22:44.
VSC-1 update — Love-first crafting register; new universal formulation: “This happens in all souls: the first work is done by Love, and once Love has worked her and filled her with Itself, what appears on the outside is nothing but the outpouring of the crafting that Love has performed inside.” This is a new VSC-1 register and simultaneously a doctrinal universalization: the victim-soul’s exterior suffering is named as the overflow of Love’s interior crafting, following the same pattern as Christ’s own Passion. Prior VSC-1 registers have been: anatomical co-suffering, co-interceding, co-consoling, purgatorial substitution, structural pillar-bearing, corporate-bitterness absorption, prophetic-anguish, privation-absorption, geographically-precise city-sparing, Tabernacle-mode, and the comprehensive-enclosing. The Love-first crafting register frames the entire exterior VSC-1 operation as overflow — Love working interiorly first, with all exterior suffering as the outpouring. Governing anchors: Galatians 2:20; Colossians 1:24; 2 Corinthians 4:10–11; Ezekiel 36:26–27.
Recurring citation error — 1 John 4:7 (uncounted per protocol): Hogan cites “1 John 4:7” for “God is love.” 1 John 4:7 reads “love is from God,” not “God is love.” The correct references are 1 John 4:8 (“God is love”) and 1 John 4:16 (“God is love”). Per protocol, this recurring known error is noted without incrementing the running total.
09-1909-12-22
PHD-1 update — apologetic-for-divine-conduct register: December 22 introduces a formally distinct PHD-1 register: the abandonment states in holy souls before death serve to vindicate divine conduct before those who might minimize the achievement of sanctified souls. Christ explicitly states this purpose: “in order to be honored and glorified in all of my conduct… so, in order to justify my conduct, I will manifest to them the abandonments.” Prior PHD-1 registers have been purposive, responsive, multi-modal, playful-prerogative, protective-barrier, flowers-giving, and flight-above-self. The apologetic-for-divine-conduct register is the most socially and eschatologically framed of all: privation serves not only the soul’s formation but God’s self-justification before the heavenly assembly and before critics who attribute sanctity to extraordinary favors rather than heroic faithfulness under privation. The Job archetype (Job 1:9–11) is the governing scriptural precedent. Governing anchors: Job 1:9–11; Hebrews 11:35–38; Psalm 22:1–2.
IDR-1 update — dissolution-and-replacement register: The nothingness/allness exchange introduces a new IDR-1 register: dissolution-and-replacement. As the soul’s strength, light, knowledge, and qualities dissolve into nothingness, Christ’s own strength, light, wisdom, and beauty fill the void. Prior IDR-1 registers have been: foundational mechanism (reacquiring in Christ), restored-virtues-rising, artisan-refiner, will-surrender-as-instrument, bidirectional-portraiture, embellishment-beyond-restoration. The dissolution-and-replacement register surpasses all prior registers in radicality: not restoration or embellishment but total ontological dissolution followed by total infilling with Christ’s own qualities. Galatians 2:20 (“I felt I was dying; yet, I live”) is the governing Pauline anchor; 1 Corinthians 1:28–29 establishes the structural logic. Governing anchors: Galatians 2:20; John 3:30; 2 Corinthians 12:9; 1 Corinthians 1:28–29.
LAN-1 note — “everything is Love in Me” as December confirmation: “know that everything is Love in Me” is a significant LAN-1 statement, following immediately on November 25’s Love-as-executioner disclosure. The two entries create a November–December LAN-1 pair: Love as the most demanding and consuming agent (November 25) → Love as the total governing principle of all divine conduct, including the abandonment states (December 22). Psalm 145:17 (Hogan’s citation) is the governing scriptural anchor.
09-1910-02-24
PHD-1 — ninth register opened (depth-beyond-expression): February 24, 1910 opens the ninth formally distinct register of the PHD-1 privation-economy arc. The privation here is total: not merely consolation withheld but all former modes of Christ’s communicative presence — sufferings, favors, voice. The effect is not flight (Register 7) nor apologetic vindication (Register 8) but a depth of union so complete that the soul’s own interior contents become inaccessible as articulable speech; Luisa cannot find “a way to come out.” Romans 8:26 (groanings too deep for words) and 2 Corinthians 12:4 (things that cannot be told) are the governing anchors. PHD-1 register count: 9.
AJD-1 — somatic-tactile register: “Even in touching myself, I touch Jesus” is the most bodily and tactile formulation of the Another-Jesus doctrine in the corpus. Prior registers (shared movement, Eucharistic mechanism, anatomical specificity, faculty exchange) address presence through action, sacrament, or named faculties; this formulation names ordinary physical self-touch as the mode of contact with Christ’s indwelling. Grounded in Colossians 2:9–10, Galatians 2:20, and 1 Corinthians 6:19–20. Formally distinct register added.
Vocational transition — house of humanity to house of divinity: Hogan identifies the entry’s incommunicability as a structural consequence of ontological elevation: “now she’s gone up into the house of the divinity, which means she’s living constantly in the divine will.” The early volumes centered on the house of humanity; this entry marks the soul’s arrival at the house of Divinity, with creaturely speech categories unable to hold the new register. This is the most explicit Hogan identification yet of the vocational transition’s ontological content. 2 Peter 1:4 and John 14:23 are the governing scriptural anchors.
Forward bridge — expression in higher volumes: Hogan: “in the higher volumes, the Lord will give her a way to be able to express it.” The current incommunicability is provisional; adequate language will be furnished as Luisa becomes more familiar with the divine level. This forward bridge is complementary to the Volumes 11–12 doctrinal disclosure bridge already active.
09-1910-02-26
EVO-1 — Eschatological Virtue Obsolescence — new tracking item: February 26, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc: the teaching that all virtues (patience, obedience, suffering, desires) are constitutively temporal instruments that end at death, while only Divine Will and Love — which are not creaturely virtues but participate in the divine nature itself — enter and constitute eternity. “That which enters eternity in Heaven is my Will and Love — all other virtues end.” This is not merely the cessation of virtue-practice in heaven (because occasions end) but a disclosure about the ontological status of virtues as temporal. 1 Corinthians 13:8–13, 1 John 4:8, Revelation 21:4, and Isaiah 40:8 are the governing anchors. Opening entry: February 26, 1910, Volume 9.
Vocational transition — dying-to-everything situated in the transition arc: Hogan explicitly situates the dying-to-everything within the transition from victim-soul to Divine Will apostolate: “we’ve seen from volume four Luisa having great difficulty in moving over from being just a victim soul into somebody who is to open the kingdom of the divine will.” The dying-to-everything — including the death of holy desires — is named as the passage through which the new vocation becomes possible. This is the most explicit identification of the dying-to-everything as a transitional instrument rather than a standalone ascetic teaching.
Forward bridge — crystal image, above Volume 20: Hogan (February 26, 1910): “when you get to the higher volumes above volume 20, you’re going to hear Jesus telling Luisa that she’s now like crystal. And crystal the light comes through without any difficulty.” The dying-to-everything progressively removes what makes the soul opaque to the divine light; the completed work produces the crystal-soul. Governing scriptural background: 2 Corinthians 3:18 (unveiled face beholding glory); Revelation 21:11, 18 (city and wall clear as crystal).
Audio file transition — Vol09-02 to Vol09-03: FHC file for February 26, 1910 references Vol09-03.mp3. This marks a transition from Vol09-02.mp3, which was in use through February 24, 1910.

UIO-1 — Upright Intention as Operative Light — new tracking item: March 8, 1910 (Hogan VIP) opens a formally new tracking item for the teaching that the upright intention is the soul’s light — converting the soul from a dark room into light itself and enabling divine-manner operation. The entry’s distinctive doctrinal element is the sun-versus-upright-working distinction: sunlight illuminates walls without transforming them, while the upright working transforms everything it touches into light. Hogan’s defining gloss: “upright working” = right intention + doing in the divine will operating as a compound principle. Governing anchors: Matthew 6:22–23; Luke 11:34–36; Ephesians 5:8; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 John 1:5; Philippians 2:13. Opening entry: March 8, 1910, Volume 9.
VIP — Hogan designation: Hogan designates this entry as a VIP. The content elevated: the entire teaching on upright intention as the soul’s operative light.
09-1910-03-12
LWR-1 — Love-Will Relational Ontology — new tracking item: March 12, 1910 (Hogan VIP) opens a formally new doctrinal arc on the ontological relationship between love and the Divine Will. Three constitutive claims: (1) love is pure only insofar as it is conformed to the Will — selfishness is love’s impurity even in holy things; (2) “when it is enclosed in my Will — only then is love safe” — Hogan identifies this as the restoration of the Edenic enclosure violated by the Fall (the apple as symbol of human love taken outside the Will); (3) “love is nothing but the firstborn child of my Will” — the Will has generative priority over love even within the divine nature. Governing anchors: Genesis 2:15–17; John 15:9–10; Colossians 1:15; Proverbs 8:22–23; 1 John 4:8; Psalm 85:10. Opening entry: March 12, 1910, Volume 9.
VIP — Hogan designation: Hogan designates this entry as a VIP. The content elevated: the full teaching on the Will’s governance of love, with particular weight on “when it is enclosed in my Will — only then is love safe” and “love is nothing but the firstborn child of my Will.”
EVO-1 — confirmatory development: The distinction “in love there can be many imperfections, even in holy things, while in my Will — never; everything is perfect” directly substantiates the EVO-1 arc (February 26): the Will alone enters eternity without remainder precisely because it alone is free from imperfection. Love requires governance from outside itself; the Will requires none.
Forward bridge — balance in divine will: Hogan (March 12, 1910): “as we go on in these writings you’ll be told very clearly that the divine will brings balance into your life” — patience-not-passive; forgiving-but-just.
09-1910-03-16
Hogan citation truncation — Isaiah 35: Hogan begins to cite Isaiah 35 at the close of her March 16 commentary (“beside that whole paragraph I want to give you Isaiah 35”) but the audio transcript ends before she specifies which verses or completes the citation. The most probable referent is Isaiah 35:8–9 — “A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness… the redeemed shall walk there” — which would frame the narrow path as the Holy Way of eschatological return. This truncation is noted but does not constitute a citation error; it is an incomplete Hogan addition requiring no correction.
09-1910-03-23
DWE-1 — absolute-supremacy register — peak formulation in corpus: March 23, 1910 (Hogan VIP, triple designation) delivers the most absolute formulation of DWE-1 in the corpus. “All other things do not interest Me as much, not even the holiest ones” explicitly names sacraments and holy things as subordinate to the Will. The Will contains the WHOLE fullness of grace; the Sacraments contain only PART. The Will is perennial and eternal communion; the Eucharist is temporal and subject to obstacles. When a soul lives in the Will, Christ “feels triumphant” — no other good, however holy, produces this. Governing anchors: Ephesians 1:9–10; John 4:34; Isaiah 53:11; Colossians 2:9–10; 1 Corinthians 15:28.
EVO-1 — peak confirmation: The partial-grace/whole-fullness distinction directly establishes the doctrinal basis of EVO-1: the Sacraments are partial distributions of grace, temporal instruments ordered to a higher end; the Will is the fullness itself, entering eternity. “The Will is perennial communion; even more, eternal — entering eternity in Heaven” is the most concentrated EVO-1 confirmation in the corpus.
Forward bridge — adopted child vs. actual child, Volume 14: Hogan (March 23, 1910): water-baptism makes the soul an adopted child of God; Will-baptism makes the soul an actual child. This distinction receives its fullest doctrinal development in Volume 14, where Hogan describes Christ explaining it through the king-kingdom analogy: all in the kingdom have some relationship with the king, but only very few are his actual children. The Will-baptized soul is Christ’s actual child.
March 16 Isaiah 35 truncation resolved: Hogan opens the March 23 commentary by completing the truncated March 16 Isaiah 35 citation: “There’s only 11 verses in it and it’s talking about the redeemed… the redeemed are walking on a pathway to God and the unclean cannot walk on this pathway.” Confirmed referent: Isaiah 35:8–9 — “A highway shall be there… it shall be called the Way of Holiness… the redeemed shall walk there.” The March 16 truncation anomaly is now resolved.
VIP — Hogan designation: Hogan designates this entry as a VIP with triple emphasis. Content elevated: the entire entry; particular weight on the Will as new Baptism containing whole fullness of grace, the Will as perennial and eternal communion greater than the Eucharist, “the most important thing for Me,” and “I feel triumphant.” Hogan adds explicit pastoral survival context: “at a time of persecution for the church when mass mightn’t be that available to you this kind of information is going to be survival stuff.”
09-1910-04-10
AJD-1 — Eucharistic-preparation register: April 10, 1910 extends the AJD-1 arc to its fullest Eucharistic-preparation form. The November 4, 1909 faculty-exchange and February 24, 1910 somatic-tactile registers are now joined by a preparation-and-thanksgiving register: the soul prepares for Christ using Christ himself (his merits, clothing, works, desires, all of himself) and thanks Christ with Christ himself. “I prepare myself in Jesus Himself, and I thank Him with Jesus Himself” — the most thoroughly Christocentric Eucharistic formulation in the corpus. Governing anchors: John 17:10; Philippians 4:13; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 9:24; John 17:21–23.
Sacred Heart identification — Hogan: Hogan (April 10, 1910): “when he gets the soul to the point where they’ve actually given this fully and completely, this is the Sacred Heart.” The complete gift of self to Jesus, receiving Jesus’s own things in return, and Christ’s joy at finding his own things within the soul is named as the experiential content of Sacred Heart devotion. First explicit Sacred Heart identification in the commentary corpus.
09-1910-05-24
EAG-1 — most declarative identification in Volume 9: May 24, 1910 carries the most direct EAG-1 identification in Volume 9 and likely the most declarative Hogan identification in the corpus to this point. Hogan explicitly writes “eagle” over the entry’s title and states: “will you write over them the eagle? Because that’s what we’re talking about. The people living in the divine will are the eagles.” The contrast class is named as seagulls — “fighting and killing and yelling and making all kinds of mess at ground level.” The altitude image (“one who lives up high, where the air ends, is not subject to feeling these mutations”) provides the textual hook. Isaiah 40:31 is Stage One’s governing anchor (“they shall mount up with wings like eagles”). However, the diary text itself does not deploy the eagle terminology; Hogan’s identification is interpretive commentary on the altitude image. EAG-1 formal doctrinal disclosure in the diary text remains pending. Monitoring flag remains at absolute maximum.
DWE-1 — altitude/immunity register: The altitude metaphor opens a new DWE-1 register: the soul in the Will lives where the common air (passions, mutations, concerns) no longer reaches, sharing God’s own immutability — “my Being is not subject to mutations, but It is always the same.” This is a spatially and metaphysically distinct formulation from prior DWE-1 registers. Divine immutability as the ground of the soul’s mutation-immunity: the soul does not achieve stability but participates in the Being that never changes. Governing anchors: Malachi 3:6; James 1:17; Hebrews 13:8; Acts 17:28; 2 Peter 1:4.
09-1910-06-02
PHD-1 — tenth register opened (triumph-withdrawal-to-resurge): June 2, 1910 opens the tenth formally distinct register of the PHD-1 privation-economy arc. The hiding is timed precisely at the moment of greatest spiritual abundance and apparent triumph — “while it seems that she has triumphed over everything and abounds in fervor, in graces, in union with Me, in virtues.” The purpose: to make die whatever human element has become embedded in the flourishing, so that the rising that follows is more beautiful by the precise measure of what the dying removed. This is formally distinct from Register 3 (responsive-withdrawal), Register 7 (flight-above-self), and Register 9 (depth-beyond-expression). The PHD-1 register count is now 10. Governing anchors: Isaiah 45:15; Song of Songs 5:2–6; Jeremiah 18:3–6; Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 1:7.
EAG-1 — continuation from May 24; structural bridge established: Hogan opens with the explicit eagle connection: “if we want to rise like the eagle we’ve got to die to all the muddy stuff down below.” This bridges the May 24 altitude-teaching to the June 2 dying-and-rising: the eagle’s altitude is reached through dying to everything at ground level. The two entries now function as a continuous teaching — May 24 describes the altitude; June 2 describes the mechanism of ascent. No new formal doctrinal disclosure in the diary text; monitoring continues at absolute maximum.
EVO-1 — confirmatory development: “If there was anything human, death has destroyed it, making everything rise again to new life” is the most naturalistic illustration of the EVO-1 arc (February 26): the human elements are constitutively mortal and cannot survive into the new life; only what is divine remains after the dying. The flower-and-seed imagery grounds this in the universal pattern of nature.
09-1910-07-04
PHD-1 — eleventh register opened (posthumous-unveiling): July 4, 1910 opens the eleventh formally distinct register of the PHD-1 privation-economy arc. “I myself permit these veils, so as to preserve with more safety the virtue of my dear children. But as soon as they die, I withdraw these veils since they are no longer necessary.” The same purposive logic governing prior PHD-1 registers (concealment for protective purposes, removal when the protection is no longer required) now governs God’s concealment of holy souls’ virtue during life and its divine withdrawal at death. This register is applied not to Christ’s withdrawal from Luisa but to God’s providential management of every holy soul’s recognition: the veils are permitted, not accidental; withdrawn by divine decision, not by circumstance. Governing anchors: Colossians 3:3–4; Isaiah 53:2–3; Romans 8:17–18; Revelation 6:9–11. PHD-1 register count: 11.

Audio file transition — Vol09-03 to Vol09-04: FHC file for July 29, 1910 references Vol09-04.mp3. This marks a transition from Vol09-03.mp3, which was in use through July 8, 1910.
AJD-1 — tabernacle-pyx structural register opened: July 8, 1910 opens a new formally distinct register for the AJD-1 (Another-Jesus Doctrine) arc: the architectonic structural register. Prior registers (shared movement, Eucharistic mechanism, anatomical specificity, faculty exchange, somatic-tactile, Eucharistic-preparation) name modes of the doctrine’s operation; this register names its structural basis. “Your body is my Tabernacle, your soul is the pyx that contains Me” — the body/soul complex is mapped onto the tabernacle/pyx architecture, with the Incarnation’s own eskēnōsen grammar (John 1:14) as the deepest ground: Christ who tabernacled in the flesh of Mary tabernacles in the body of the soul united to him. Governing anchors: John 1:14; Exodus 25:8; 1 Corinthians 3:16; John 6:56; Galatians 2:20.
AJD-1 — continuous-life register: Joined to the tabernacle-pyx structural disclosure is a formally distinct doctrinal claim: in the host, Christ is “subject to continuous deaths” as it is consumed; in the soul whose heartbeat of love is non-consumable, “my Life is continuous.” The soul united to Christ through non-consuming love becomes the site of Christ’s uninterrupted life — a mode superior in continuity to the Eucharistic host’s sacramental presence. This is the most ontologically grounded AJD-1 formulation in the corpus, naming why the soul becomes Another Jesus: the soul’s love-mode permits continuous life rather than the host’s death-structured mode. Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 11:26; Hebrews 9:25–26; Revelation 5:6; Romans 8:11.

TPL-1 — Two Pillars of Confident Living — new tracking item: July 29, 1910 (Hogan VIP) opens a formally new doctrinal unit: the Two Pillars on which the soul must lean to live with full confidence. First Pillar: the Divine Will — the space in which sin cannot exist, which pulverizes passions and sins to the point of destroying their roots, and converts darkness into light, doubts into certainty, hopes into possession. Second Pillar: the firm will and continuous attention not to offend God even slightly, disposing one’s own will to suffer everything and be submitted to everyone rather than displease him. Together the two pillars constitute “more than her very life.” Governing anchors: 1 John 3:6, 3:9; Romans 8:2; Luke 22:42; Philippians 2:8; 1 Peter 4:1; John 8:32. Opening entry: July 29, 1910, Volume 9.
VIP — Hogan designation: Hogan designates the two-pillars section as VIP. Content elevated: the full teaching beginning with “You, however, must lean on two pillars to be able to live with full confidence” through the entry’s close, with particular weight on the Will’s pulverizing of sin to its roots and Christ’s disclosure that the privation-state also disposes toward departure.
DWE-1 — hopes-into-possession register: The first pillar’s highest yield — “hopes into possession” — opens a new DWE-1 register: the soul thoroughly aligned with the divine Will no longer holds eschatological realities as deferred anticipation but as present possession. This is the most ontologically advanced DWE-1 formulation in the corpus: the Will does not merely guard the soul from darkness and doubt but converts the temporal structure of hope itself into the present tense of possession. Governing anchors: Ephesians 1:14; 2 Corinthians 1:22; Romans 8:6.
CEA-1 — confirmed historical fulfillment with renewed forward announcement: July 29, 1910 delivers the most explicit in-entry confirmation of CEA-1 fulfillment to this point: “entire cities destroyed, rebellions, the withdrawal of grace from the evil” are named as having come, with Christ reminding Luisa that he announced them previously. “Yet, this is still nothing compared to the chastisements that will come” sustains the forward arc. Hogan’s WWI/WWII annotation confirms the retrospective historical identification. The withdrawal-of-grace mechanism is grounded in Romans 1:24/26/28’s structure of divine abandonment: the surfacing of interior corruption is the structured consequence of grace withheld.

SID-1 — Sin’s Interior Diagnostic — new tracking item: August 3, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc establishing voluntary sin’s immediate interior diagnostic: when sin is voluntary, it upsets the soul’s natural humors, producing a felt transformation in evil — soaking with impatience, anger, and disturbance. True virtue produces the opposite: humors in harmony, soaking with sweetness, charity, and peace. Christ applies the diagnostic to Luisa in real time — looking into her and finding no turmoil. This establishes the negative pole to WDC-1’s positive criterion (peace as surest sign of authentic union): together the two items constitute a closed discernment framework. Governing anchors: Galatians 5:19–23; 1 John 3:19–21; Romans 2:15; Psalm 32:3–5. Opening entry: August 3, 1910, Volume 9.

VSC-1 — thirteenth register opened (sin-absorption mechanism): August 19, 1910 opens the thirteenth formally distinct register of the VSC-1 arc and its most mechanically explicit form in the corpus. Christ literally pours from his mouth into Luisa’s the accumulated iniquities of creatures — “I can no longer contain them.” Luisa absorbs what she can; the thick residue she cannot hold is poured to the ground. Christ identifies the mechanism: “because of that little bit which He poured into me, He will spare, if not completely, part of our town.” The victim soul’s intercessory efficacy is proportional to her absorption capacity — the diversion is literal, physical, and calibrated. Ezekiel 22:30’s breach-standing type, Numbers 16:47–48’s Aaron-interposition type, and Colossians 1:24’s co-suffering doctrinal frame are the governing scriptural structures. VSC-1 register count: 13.
CEA-1 — most visceral chastisement-causality image in corpus: The black liquid as the visual form of accumulated sin returned to its authors establishes the CEA-1 arc’s most direct causal image: chastisement is not arbitrary punishment but the literal return of what was poured into God, overflowing back upon the world when divine endurance is exhausted. Hogan identifies the chastisement vision as WWI. The prophetic cup-of-wrath tradition (Psalm 75:8; Isaiah 51:17; Habakkuk 2:16; Nahum 1:2–6) and the Revelation bowl-pouring (14:10; 16:1–4) constitute the governing biblical imagination.
Recurring citation note — 1 John 4:7: Hogan cites “1 John 4:7 to 17” for “God is love.” Per protocol, the recurring 1 John 4:7 error (correct: 4:8 and 4:16) is noted without incrementing the correction count.

DWE-1 — inviolable-refuge register: August 22, 1910 opens a new DWE-1 register: the soul fixed in the Divine Will as Christ’s inviolable refuge against expulsion. “From this soul you cannot make Me flee” — the hostile crowd withdraws humiliated. Prior DWE-1 registers name what the Will provides to the soul (freedom from sin, altitude/immunity, hopes-into-possession); this register names what the Will-fixed soul provides to Christ: a dwelling from which no external force can expel him. The doctrinal ground is John 14:23 (the Father and Son making their abode in the soul), John 15:4 (mutual abiding), Galatians 2:20 (Christ as the soul’s own life), and Revelation 3:12 (pillar in the temple, never going out). Governing anchors: John 14:23; John 15:4; Galatians 2:20; Revelation 3:12.
VSC-1/AJD-1 — bidirectional exchange across August 19–22: The August 19 and August 22 entries together establish a fully bidirectional exchange: August 19, the soul absorbs from Christ the sin-substance he can no longer contain; August 22, Christ receives from the soul the nourishment the world can no longer supply. The victim-soul vocation (absorbing what Christ bears) and the AJD-1 (Christ’s continuous life within the soul who nourishes him) meet at this intersection. The nursing-from-the-breast is the most intimate register in the corpus for the soul providing to Christ rather than receiving from him. Governing anchors for nursing scene: Matthew 25:35–36; John 4:32–34; Isaiah 66:11; Song of Songs 8:1.

UBS-1 — Universal Bond Structure — new tracking item: September 3, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc on the bond-nexus within every soul. Every soul contains within her the bonds connecting her to the entire human family: bonds of likeness (all made in the same divine image), paternity and sonship (all proceeding from the same Creator), brotherhood (all belonging to the family of the firstborn), common creation, redemption, and blood-marking. Because of this bond-network, Christ’s love directed at one soul flows through the bonds to reach and regard all others at least partially. In times of scourge, Christ’s coming to the beloved soul constitutes a form of regard and partial sparing for all those connected through her. Governing anchors: Romans 5:18–19; Romans 11:16; 1 Corinthians 12:26; Genesis 1:26–27; Acts 17:26; Romans 8:29; Hebrews 2:11; Ephesians 2:14–16. Opening entry: September 3, 1910, Volume 9.
VSC-1 — connective mechanism (fourteenth register): September 3 opens the fourteenth register of VSC-1: the connective mechanism, formally distinct from the substitutionary mechanism (Register 13, August 19). August 19: the soul absorbs what Christ pours out, directly diverting the judgment. September 3: Christ’s love of the soul flows through the bond-nexus within her to reach all those connected, partially sparing them. The victim soul’s mediating function is now established as bidirectional — absorbing the downward flow of judgment (Register 13) and transmitting the upward flow of love (Register 14). VSC-1 register count: 14.

Vocational transition — intercessory withdrawal as transitional preparation: Hogan identifies the reason Jesus “doesn’t want to make use of me as before” as vocational transition rather than changed love: “she doesn’t realize she’s changing rapidly into a new state… he’s gradually turning her over to a completely new vocation.” The apparent suspension of Luisa’s established intercessory mode — founded on the Volume 1 cholera precedent — is named as a structural feature of the passage from victim-soul vocation to the Divine Will apostolate. Isaiah 43:18–19 is the implicit scriptural background: the inability to perceive the new thing is constitutive of the transitional moment. The entry’s lament is thus simultaneously authentic and transitionally blind.

VSC-1 — fifteenth register opened (mercy-victory mechanism): September 11, 1910 opens the fifteenth formally distinct register of the VSC-1 arc. “As she satisfies with her sufferings, mercy obtains its most beautiful victories over justice” — the victim soul’s suffering is named as the direct mechanism by which mercy achieves its victories over justice in the continuous divine-attribute contest. Prior registers address the victim soul’s intercessory function through substitution, absorption, connective transmission, and co-suffering; this register is formally distinct in naming the soul’s suffering as the decisive instrument not merely of intercession but of the justice-mercy balance itself. The governing scriptural anchors are Colossians 1:24 and James 2:13. VSC-1 register count: 15.
RSD-1 (Reciprocal Self-Donation) — bilateral mechanism formally disclosed: September 11, 1910 discloses the structural mechanism of the reciprocal self-donation pattern. “I surrender to her, because she has surrendered all of her things in my Will. This is why I do not come when I do not want to surrender — because I don’t trust that I can resist without surrendering.” Three constitutive claims: (1) the soul’s total surrender to the Will creates an irresistible claim on Christ; (2) Christ’s reciprocal surrender is structurally compelled by the soul’s prior gift; (3) Christ’s withdrawal is therefore self-management — he removes himself to preserve the freedom of his own action. Hogan’s Padre Pio gloss (“I refuse him nothing and he refuses me nothing”) is the hagiographical verification. This is the first explicit mechanistic disclosure of the pattern opened at May 25, 1909 (Vol. 9): “the only relief and the thing which I most enjoy from creatures is love.” Governing anchors: Galatians 2:20; John 17:21–23; Romans 8:32; Luke 6:38; Song of Songs 2:16; Revelation 3:20.
IDR-1 — image-constitutive ground of the negative formulation supplied: “That which renders man most dissimilar from Me is not being armed with these prerogatives” (love, truth, rectitude) names the three prerogatives as image-constitutive — their absence is image-disfigurement not merely in the moral register but in the ontological. Love is the divine essence (1 John 4:8); truth is constitutive of Christ’s person (John 14:6); rectitude corresponds to the likeness in which the new self is created (Ephesians 4:24). This entry supplies the positive content of what the image consists in, and therefore the precise doctrinal ground of the IDR-1 negative formulation: the image is disfigured when its constitutive elements are absent. Prior IDR-1 entries describe the mechanism of disfigurement; this entry names what is being disfigured.

Forward bridge — cosmological-interior series opening: Hogan identifies September 22 as “the beginning of a series of revelations” in which Christ will speak about heavens, earth, seas, and sky as realities interior to the soul. She anticipates the decorating of each virtue-heaven “with stars and planets.” This inaugurates a cosmological-interior doctrinal series of unknown length within Volume 9. The connection to HPC-1 is direct: if virtue-formed heavens are decorated with stars and planets, the soul’s interior cosmic formation may supply a new register for the HPC-1 heavenly-proportionality arc.
FHC session split — fire citations belong to the following entry: The September 22 FHC session contains Hogan’s commentary on two diary entries. After completing September 22, Hogan reads a subsequent entry on love as fire transforming the soul and designates it a VIP. The citations she supplies — Hebrews 12:29, Luke 3:16, Matthew 3:10–12 — belong to that following entry, not to September 22. When the following entry is uploaded, its FHC content will already be present in the September 22 FHC file; no separate FHC file may accompany it, or the file may be minimal.
09-1910-10-01
VIP — Hogan designation: Hogan designates this entry as a VIP (delivered in the September 22 FHC session). Content elevated: the full love-as-fire teaching, with particular weight on “love is fire that transmutes the soul in God” and “love unites, its flames invest all of the human operations and give them the form of divine operations.”
LAN-1 — divinizing-fire register opened: October 1, 1910 opens a new formally distinct register for LAN-1. “Love is fire that transmutes the soul in God” — love is named as the transforming fire that divinizes the soul, converting it into the divine nature by immersion in the Lord’s own flame (Song of Songs 8:6, salhebetyah). Prior LAN-1 registers address love’s nature in God (divine essence, total governing principle), love’s action in Christ’s Passion (executioner), and love’s phenomenological modes. This register is formally distinct: it names love as the agent of the soul’s transmutation in God — love not merely known or suffered but transforming the soul into itself, as fire transforms wood into fire.
AJD-1 — operational-investment register opened: “Love unites, its flames invest all of the human operations and give them the form of divine operations” opens a new AJD-1 register: the operational-investment register. Prior registers address the Another-Jesus doctrine through specific modes (Eucharistic mechanism, faculty exchange, somatic-tactile, tabernacle-pyx structure, continuous life). This register is formally distinct: it names love-fire as the ongoing operative mechanism by which the soul’s actions take divine form — not through a specific sacramental encounter but through the continuous burning of love that invests every human act. AJD-1 now has its most mechanically complete operational account.

UVM-1 — Union-Value Measure — new tracking item: October 17, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc establishing that love and union with Christ are the eternal measure of sacrifice’s value, while sacrifice without union receives only limited remuneration. Three constitutive claims: (1) Christ looks not at the quantity of sacrifice but at the love and union with which it is made; (2) union opens the “eternal measure which has no end and no boundaries,” while its absence restricts reward to a contractually limited register; (3) the son/servant parable names the structural basis — the son’s small sacrifices are received into the father’s entire riches through the bond of love; the servant’s great labors receive only a day’s wage. 1 Corinthians 13:1–3 is the entry’s most precise scriptural parallel (maximum sacrifice without love gains nothing). Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 13:1–3; Romans 8:14–17; Galatians 4:1–7; John 15:4–5; Colossians 3:23–24; 1 Corinthians 2:9. Opening entry: October 17, 1910, Volume 9.
HPC-1 — deposit-of-light register: October 17, 1910 adds a new register to the HPC-1 arc: the deposit-of-light principle. Good works done with purity of intention are not merely rewarded at death but are kept as light in deposit during life and invest the soul at the moment of dying, “never leaving him.” This is formally distinct from prior HPC-1 registers (suffering adds keys to the heavenly organ; each soul contributes an irreplaceable sonata). The deposit-of-light register concerns not the soul’s contribution to the full harmony of heaven but the soul’s own personal glory-state at death, which is constituted by the accumulated light of pure-intention works. Governing anchors: 1 Corinthians 3:12–15; Daniel 12:3; Revelation 14:13; Matthew 5:14–16; Luke 12:33.

FDG-1 — Finger of Divine Governance — new tracking item: October 24, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc on the a fortiori argument from granular natural providence to the soul’s spiritual state. The dove’s declaration — “the moving of the leaves, of the plants, the murmuring of the waters, the light that invades the earth, the motion of all nature, everything — everything comes from the fingers of God. Imagine if your state alone should not come from the fingers of God” — establishes the governing principle: divine governance is not macro-level only but granular and moment-by-moment; if the micro-motions of creation proceed from the divine fingers, the soul’s extraordinary state a fortiori proceeds from them. Governing anchors: Psalm 8:3; Luke 11:20; Exodus 8:19; Exodus 31:18; Matthew 10:29–31; Acts 17:28. Opening entry: October 24, 1910, Volume 9.
SID-1 — disturbance-doctrine peak formulation: October 24, 1910 delivers the most theologically developed disturbance doctrine in the corpus. Four constitutive claims formally advanced beyond the August 3 opening entry: (1) disturbance is specifically infernal in origin — “an infernal air that one breathes”; (2) it operates by displacement — “casts out the celestial air of peace and takes the place of God in the soul”; (3) its cognitive effect is total distortion — “makes even the holiest, the purest things appear as the ugliest and most dangerous”; (4) its terminal effect is alienation from God himself — “feels boredom for God Himself.” The diagnostic distinction “not inside of me, but around me” is the SID-1 instrument applied: the absence of interior turmoil confirms the soul’s genuine state even as the external atmosphere is saturated with infernal air. 1 Corinthians 14:33 (God not a God of confusion), James 3:15–16 (disorder as demonic wisdom), and Matthew 12:43–45 (displacement mechanism) are the governing anchors for the doctrine’s theological structure.
CEA-1 — flood vision (new chastisement form): The flood dream — “water pouring down from heaven like a deluge, such as to cause great damage and bury entire towns” — is the CEA-1 arc’s latest visionary form and the first to deploy the flood archetype (Genesis 6:17, Nahum 1:8, Luke 17:26–27). Combined with Christ’s “sad things, very sad things are happening and will happen,” this is the third prophetic chastisement-announcement in Volume 9 and the second to carry a vivid visionary component (following August 19’s black-liquid vision).
Vocational transition — indirect confirmation through demonic assault: The intensity and sophistication of the demonic attack — deployed precisely against Luisa’s state and vocation, assuring her through an apparently authoritative channel that “the sufferings, the visits of Jesus, were not Will of God” — functions as an indirect confirmation of the vocational transition’s reality. Hogan: “even at her stage the devil doesn’t give up.” The confessor’s identification of the source as demonic restores direction without erasing the exhaustion of the assault; the gravity of what was attacked confirms the gravity of what is in progress.

Audio file transition — Vol09-04 to Vol10-01: The FHC file for October 29, 1910 references Vol10-01.mp3. This marks the transition from Vol09-04.mp3, which was in use through October 24, 1910. Note that the audio file numbering has advanced to Volume 10 while the diary is still in Volume 9 — Hogan’s recording sessions do not align precisely with diary volume boundaries.
SID-1 — three-weapons resolution arc closed: October 29 formally closes the disturbance arc opened at October 24: after the fullest diagnosis of disturbance in the corpus (October 24), Christ provides the three weapons — purity of intention, upright work, sacrificial love — and the indifference-key that seals disturbance in hell. The arc is now complete as a doctrinal unit: diagnosis (October 24) → prescription and resolution (October 29). The three weapons map with structural precision onto the three prerogatives of September 11 (love/truth/rectitude), confirming that the image-constitutive virtues and the anti-disturbance weapons are the same triadic reality in different registers.
CEA-1 — operational chastisement confirmed: “I was scourging and destroying cities and burying human lives — this is why I have not come” is the first in-entry statement by Christ that the chastisement is current and operational rather than anticipated. Prior Volume 9 CEA-1 entries carried prophetic announcement or retrospective confirmation; here the scourging is named as the present cause of Christ’s absence from Luisa. Combined with the July 29 entry’s “entire cities destroyed, rebellions” confirmation and the October 24 flood dream, this is the strongest present-tense chastisement statement in the corpus to this point.
Forward bridge — justice as the attribute that makes all others visible: “If I did not reward the things done with purity of intention… I would fail a duty of justice, and all of my other attributes would remain obscured” — names justice as the attribute whose visible operation makes the entire divine character legible. This forward bridge anticipates a potential doctrinal development in higher volumes concerning the internal coherence and mutual visibility of the divine attributes.

SUW-1 — Supreme Unity of Wills — new tracking item: November 1, 1910 opens a formally new doctrinal arc on the supreme unity of wills: the state in which the soul’s will is so consumed in the divine will that it is no longer possible to discern which is hers and which is God’s. Four constitutive claims: (1) will-indiscernibility modeled on Trinitarian single-will (Hogan: “just as you can’t discern which is the will of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”); (2) complete contentment with all divine dispositions — death, life, cross, poverty all claimed as “her own things”; (3) reciprocal willing — “I do what she wants and she does what I want”; (4) no greater power in heaven or on earth — the soul debilitates and disarms God. Governing anchors: John 17:21–23; Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 6:17; John 15:7; Hosea 11:8; Song of Songs 4:9. Opening entry: November 1, 1910, Volume 9.
RSD-1 — most complete bidirectional formulation: “I do what she wants, and she does what I want” is the most symmetrically complete RSD-1 formulation in the corpus, surpassing September 11’s “I surrender to her because she has surrendered all of her things in my Will.” The bidirectionality is now fully explicit: soul’s surrender → Christ’s doing what she wants; Christ’s doing what she wants → soul doing what he wants. Hogan’s Padre Pio confirmation (“I refuse him nothing and he refuses me nothing”) is the hagiographical verification. The September 11 RSD-1 and November 1 SUW-1 disclosures are now recognized as sequential stages of the same arc.
SIL-1 and PHD-1 — most complete operational account of withdrawal during chastisement: “I am forced to hide from you in order to be free when justice forces Me… If I had you with Me, with my will in the act of scourging, I would probably have fallen short and diminished the scourge.” This is the first entry to name the structural reason for Christ’s withdrawal during chastisement from the divine operational side — not pedagogical, not responsive-withdrawal, not playful prerogative, but operational necessity: the supreme-unity soul’s power would inevitably diminish the scourge. Exodus 32:10 (let me alone, that my wrath may burn) is the OT type. This disclosure constitutes the deepest PHD-1 register yet: the purpose of the withdrawal is protection of divine justice from the soul’s mercy-triggering power. PHD-1 register count: 12.
Forward bridge — four levels of the Divine Will (~Volume 18): Hogan (November 1, 1910): “I think it’s up around volume 18 where the Lord tells us there’s four different levels at which you can live the Divine Will.” The low/supreme binary of this entry is elaborated into a four-level schema in a later volume.
Forward bridge — Luisa at supreme unity after Volume 20: Hogan (November 1, 1910): “Once we get past volume 20, that’s Luisa — she’s no longer worried about herself or chastisement or anything else.” The supreme unity described here as the goal becomes Luisa’s realized state by Volume 20.
09-1910-11-03
Volume 9 final entry — valediction confirmed: Hogan explicitly identifies this as “the last piece of volume 9.” The Deo gratias closing the entry is unusual in the corpus and functions as the volume’s liturgical close. The soul named as Christ’s paradise on earth is the experiential consequence of the November 1 supreme-unity disclosure: will-consummation produces the only earthly interior where Christ finds complete rest from the world’s bitternesses.
SUW-1 — experiential form disclosed: November 3 supplies the lived consequence of the November 1 supreme-unity doctrine: the supreme-unity soul is Christ’s paradise on earth — the only place where he feels “completely comfortable” (Hogan). The theological ground is John 14:23 (God making his home in the soul) and Song of Songs 5:1 (the Beloved arriving at his garden to refresh himself). SUW-1’s operational meaning is now complete: will-indiscernibility produces the only earthly space of divine rest.
