DTE-1 positive counterpart — doctrinal ground of the arc’s resolution: The DTE-1 arc (Divine Tiredness Experienced) was resolved across Volume 4’s final entries; March 19 now supplies its positive theological ground. Jesus’s explicit testimony — “one suffering would ignite the heart more to suffer another one; these are the ways of Divine Suffering” — is the inverse of what DTE-1 disclosed: that divine tiredness, though real, is not the final word of divine suffering. Hebrews 12:2 is the governing scriptural anchor; Isaiah 53:10–11 (“out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied”) provides the prophetic archetype. DTE-1 remains closed; this entry functions as its doctrinal coda.
Forward bridge — signs of authentic participation in Christ’s pains: Jesus provides a three-sign doctrinal definition: (1) suffering united with joy to suffer more; (2) operating for Christ; (3) orienting toward the glory given to God and the fruit received rather than toward the act itself. Philippians 3:10’s koinōnia pathēmatōn receives its diagnostic form here. This is not yet a tracking item — one entry does not establish a recurring pattern — but the definitional quality of the teaching warrants monitoring across Volume 5. Open as a named tracking item if the three-sign structure recurs or is developed.
Forward bridge — Saint Joseph’s feast-day appearance: The opening vision falls on March 19, the feast of Saint Joseph in the traditional Roman calendar, and Saint Joseph appears alongside Jesus. His appearance to the humiliated confessor on his own feast day is liturgically anchored — the patron of workers and of the interior life accompanying a priestly labor in its moment of humiliation. No tracking item warranted; noted as a liturgical marker for the opening of Volume 5 and as a forward bridge if Joseph recurs with thematic significance.

LAN-1 — Love as God’s Very Nature — most comprehensive statement to date: The entry’s claim that “His very attributes receive life from love” extends LAN-1 from the identification of love as God’s nature (opened June 15, 1902) to the internal structure of the divine life: every divine attribute — omnipotence, justice, mercy, wisdom — receives its animating principle from love. 1 Corinthians 13:1–3, read in the Trinitarian register, and Psalm 136 (every divine act attributed to hesed) are the governing scriptural anchors.
TSL-1 — Two Species of Love — new tracking item: The teaching on two species of love (spiritual-divine vs. corporal-disordered) as forming two different lives (sanctification vs. damnation) is opened as a tracking item. First instance: March 23, 1903. Hogan explicitly signals recurrence: “you’re going to hear this message over and over and over until you are completely convinced.” The mind-and-hand analogy (spiritual love has the range and simultaneity of the mind; corporeal love the sequential limitation of the hands) is the entry’s most theologically distinctive contribution. Galatians 5:16–17, Romans 8:5–6, and 1 John 2:15–16 are the governing Pauline forms. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
05-1903-03-24
NSP-1 — Nothingness as Structural Protection — most positive form to date: The drop-of-water image gives NSP-1 its most complete positive expression: the nothingness of the drop is the precise condition of its total participation in the sea. While in the sea, the drop “seems to be the whole sea” — nothingness becomes the condition of totality rather than merely of protection. John 17:21–23 (Trinitarian mutual indwelling) and 1 Corinthians 6:17 (one spirit with the Lord) are the governing anchors.
COR-1 — Circle of Origin and Return — most intimate personal form: Luisa’s description of the will as “came out of the womb of my Creator” and now “looks for your womb, your center, and there it wants to remain forever” is COR-1’s exitus-reditus at its most personal existential level. Previous entries disclosed COR-1 in Trinitarian, cosmological, and Eucharistic forms; March 24 gives it as the lived experience of the individual human will. Genesis 2:7, Psalm 90:1–2, and Ecclesiastes 12:7 are the governing anchors.
CPD-1 — Center-Possession Doctrine — will-union form: “One who wants to be always in my Will keeps my very Person within himself” extends CPD-1 to its will-keeping form: the mechanism of center-possession is the active maintenance of the divine will. Resignation (CPD-1’s February 9 form) and will-keeping (March 24) converge at the same result — the divine Person indwelling. John 14:23 and Galatians 2:20 are the governing anchors.
Forward bridge — continuous participation in divine life as prodigy: “My power operates a prodigy by administering to him, continuously, the participation in divine life” — 2 Peter 1:4’s partaking of the divine nature is now explicitly identified as the continuous mechanism sustaining the soul in the divine will. The attraction produced by this participation (“even if he wanted to go out, he could not”) is a significant forward bridge for Volumes 5–36. Monitor for further development; open as a named tracking item if the prodigy-of-participation recurs as a distinct doctrinal pattern.
Forward bridge — Hogan’s vocational-historical claim: Hogan states explicitly: “Luisa is the very first person in human history after Blessed Mother to come into the divine will.” This positions Luisa in explicit Marian typology (Luke 1:38 as the originating model) and reshapes how the entire Volume 5 teaching arc is read. No tracking item yet; noted as a forward bridge of architectural significance.
Cross-reference note — “continuous virtue” back-reference: Jesus says “the continuous virtue that comes out of Me toward one who always does my Will about which I spoke to you the other day.” Hogan directs listeners to “go back to Volume 2” for this reference. The proximate textual anchor is March 18, 1903 (Volume 4 final entry): “one who is always in my Will binds Me in such a way as to make a continuous virtue come out of Me.” The “other day” in Jesus’s words most naturally refers to March 18, not to a Volume 2 passage. Probable Hogan commentary error; not assigned a correction number as it is a cross-reference rather than a Scripture citation.

SDW-1 — Sin Defined as Will-Departure — new tracking item: Jesus’s prayer to the Father — “she wants to render herself a sinner by going out of Our Will, after so many graces” — defines sin at Luisa’s level of formation as departure from the divine will. This is not a general claim about all sin but a specification of what sin means after the soul has received Luisa’s formation: at this altitude, going out of the divine will is the act by which one renders oneself a sinner. James 4:17, Hebrews 10:26, and Luke 12:48 are the governing anchors. Related to but distinct from SCA-1 (which concerns the destruction of formation work by a contrary act); SDW-1 names the identity of what that contrary act is at this level of spiritual development. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — Justice-seeking-voids disclosure: “My Justice is looking for voids so as to lay hand to chastisements” — the VSC-1 mechanism stated from the divine perspective. Justice actively searches for uninhabited intercessory positions; the victim soul’s presence fills those voids. The France-Italy socialist oracle and Luisa’s near-exit are in the same entry because they belong to the same providential equation: Luisa’s void-filling function directly restrains the chastisement Jesus names. Ezekiel 22:30 and Isaiah 59:16 are the governing anchors.
HCR-4 — Rome-destruction oracle — France/Italy historical specification: The entry names France (public socialist-atheist attack; laicization laws) and Italy (hidden activity; mystery of iniquity) as the two concrete theatres of the attack on the Church in 1903. This is HCR-4’s most historically specific development to date, providing the geopolitical context for the February 23 headless-Christ vision. 2 Thessalonians 2:3–7 (mystery of iniquity already at work) is the governing form.
TRS-1 — Confessor’s Required Attendance — hundredfold grounding: The confessor’s daily coming is explicitly named by Hogan as Luisa’s “thorn in the side” (parallel to 2 Corinthians 12:7–9). Jesus’s response is not removal but the hundredfold promise (Matthew 19:29; Mark 10:29–30): the priest’s daily sacrifice is repaid by the divine at hundredfold rate. Hogan forward reference (attributed to Volume 6): “the whole of Europe and the Church are leaning on her” — the confessor’s faithful attendance is structurally load-bearing for the larger intercessory mission.
SCA-1 — Single Contrary Act — experiential confirmation: Luisa nearly executes the contrary act this entry describes — nearly going out of the victim state. Jesus’s interior intercession prevents it. SCA-1’s doctrinal claim (one contrary act destroys the entire formation work) is here confirmed experientially: the gravity of the near-exit is proportional to the accumulated formation.
Recurring citation error — Hebrews 7:25: Hogan again cites “Hebrews 11:25” for “he always lives to make intercession for them.” This is the recurrence of correction #44 (first identified January 13, 1903; confirmed recurring March 12, 1903; recurring again April 7, 1903). Running total not incremented.
05-1903-04-10
CEA-1 — Chastisement-Education Arc — negative form disclosed: The entry articulates CEA-1’s failure mode: when educative chastisement produces further offense rather than humility and return, the arc does not terminate but escalates — pastoral rod → trumpet → more grave scourges. “Men, instead of humbling themselves, will take the occasion to offend Him.” Isaiah 2:11–17 (pride as the structural obstacle to conversion under chastisement) and Revelation 9:20 (men not repenting after the plagues) are the governing anchors. CEA-1 active; negative-form dimension added.
05-1903-04-21
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — restrainer-removal form: “It was necessary for Me to suspend you, otherwise you would have prevented Me, and I would not have been free” — the most precise doctrinal disclosure of VSC-1’s restraining function to this point. The victim soul’s presence is constitutively operative: effective enough that its removal is the necessary condition for chastisement to proceed. 2 Thessalonians 2:6–7 (restrainer taken out of the way) and Ezekiel 14:13–14 (even the greatest intercessors cannot prevent when the threshold is crossed) are the governing anchors.
CEA-1 — Chastisement-Education Arc — severe-mercy theology stated: “It is necessary that scourges pour upon the world, otherwise, in order to spare the bodies, souls will be lost” — the clearest CEA-1 articulation in Volume 5: chastisement as the mercy that prioritizes the soul’s eternal good over the body’s temporal welfare. Matthew 10:28 (soul’s priority over body), Hebrews 12:5–11 (discipline for holiness), and 1 Corinthians 11:32 (disciplined to avoid eternal condemnation) are the governing anchors.
Forward bridge — one-third chastisement calibration: Hogan states in commentary (attributed to “further volumes”): “the Lord actually allows her one-third, that’s 33%, of the chastisement, which means that her prayer was extremely powerful.” VSC-1 forward reference: Luisa’s intercession obtains a measured reduction of chastisement, quantified. Monitor in higher volumes; open VSC-1 sub-notation if confirmed.
DW-SEED-1 — luminous identification confirmed: “A Sun in the vault of the heavens, which was different from the sun we see” — the heavenly Sun as the divine light, distinct from the natural sun. Malachi 4:2 (Sun of righteousness) and Psalm 84:11 (Lord God is a sun) are the governing anchors. DW-SEED-1’s luminous identification (from November 1902 forward) operates cosmically in the heavenly vision. DW-
05-1903-05-08
PCE-1 — Petition-Concession of Evil — new tracking item (Hogan VIP): The doctrine that repeated human petitions for evil constitute a formal claim that Justice is constrained to honor: “when my Justice sees that man not only wants evil, but he asks for it with repeated petitions, with justice is It forced to concede it, to make them know the evil they wanted.” The mechanism is distinct from the general sowing-reaping principle (Galatians 6:7–8) in that it is explicitly juridical: the repeated petition creates a right, and Justice’s concession is a form of divine fidelity to human freedom. Romans 1:24–28 (“gave them over”), Psalm 106:15 (“gave them what they asked for”), and Wisdom 11:16 (“punished by the very things by which one sins”) are the governing anchors. The education dimension — “one can truly know evil only when he finds himself in it” — is PCE-1’s epistemological corollary. Hogan explicit VIP. First instance: May 8, 1903. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
TSL-1 — Two Species of Love — juridical form: The disposition principle (“when man disposes himself to good, he receives good; to evil, he receives evil”) is TSL-1’s most developed juridical form: the disposition toward evil becomes a repeated petition whose cosmic consequences Justice is bound to honor. The TSL-1 teaching (opened March 23: two species of love forming two different lives) now discloses its juridical-eschatological dimension.
TRS-1 — Confessor’s Required Attendance — grace-current mechanism disclosed: “The closer you remain to her with your thought and with your intention, the stronger and freer you will feel” — the most operationally specific disclosure of the confessor-victim soul bond. The proximity of the confessor’s thought and intention to the victim soul draws from the grace-current concentrated in her, strengthening him for his ministry. Luke 8:46 (power going out from the sacred center to intentional contact) is the governing anchor.
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — voids confirmed, suspension timing: Justice “keeps looking for voids in order to punish man” — VSC-1’s void-seeking mechanism confirmed a third time in Volume 5. Suspension timing disclosed: “at most a few days” from May 8 — another partial suspension approaching.
05-1903-05-11
UPI-1 — Upright Intention as Master-Principle — new tracking item (Hogan VIP): The doctrine that the upright intention of pleasing God alone “triumphs over everything, establishes all the good in the soul and sanctifies everything” — and specifically that it “directs, dominates and rectifies the virtues themselves, and even obedience.” First instance as a stand-alone doctrinal statement: May 11, 1903. The hierarchical claim is distinctive: the upright intention is above the virtues and above obedience, directing and correcting them. Matthew 6:22–23 (the single eye — haplous — as undivided intention making the whole body full of light) and 1 Corinthians 13:1–3 (without love, virtues are nothing) are the governing anchors. Related to DW-SEED-3 (single-motive action toward God) but distinct: UPI-1 makes the hierarchical claim that the intention is the master-principle above other spiritual operations. Hogan signals it will recur throughout the corpus (“we’re going to meet this over and over again”). Hogan explicit VIP. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
DW-SEED-3 — Acting in the divine will — most developed doctrinal form: The upright intention of pleasing God alone is DW-SEED-3 reaching its fullest articulation to date. The single-motive orientation toward God (first identified in Volume 1, Entry 000) is now given its complete operative form: not merely as the structure of divine-will action but as the master-principle that directs virtues and obedience. DW-
OBL-1 — Obedience-link theology — intention as superior principle: The entry’s claim that the upright intention “directs, dominates and rectifies the virtues themselves, and even obedience” places OBL-1’s obedience-theology within a larger hierarchical structure. Even the highly developed obedience-link of Volumes 1–5 requires the upright intention’s direction to reach its proper form. OBL-1 active; noted.
05-1903-05-20
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — restrainer theology enacted as vision: The most visionary and iconic form of VSC-1 to date: the attackers themselves diagnose the restraining mechanism — “as we find ourselves in the arms of this one here, we can do nothing” — and Jesus’s subsequent withdrawal (“gave them freedom”) enacts the restrainer’s removal. Where previous VSC-1 developments were doctrinal propositions, May 20 renders the same reality as living image. 2 Thessalonians 2:6–7 and Ezekiel 22:30 are the governing anchors.
Forward bridge — martyrological form of the victim vocation: The spiritual beheading corresponds with exact precision to Revelation 20:4’s “souls beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God.” The offering formula (“for the triumph of the truth”) and the martyrdom form converge at the same apocalyptic type. Not opened as a new tracking item — the martyrological dimension of the victim vocation is already carried by VSC-1 and related items — but noted as a significant visionary development and a forward bridge if the beheading image recurs or is explicitly developed.
05-1903-06-06
UPI-1 — Upright Intention as Master-Principle — first practical application: The intention formula Jesus prescribes — “Lord, I intend to refresh your suffering body within mine” — is UPI-1’s (opened May 11) first instructed practical form: the master-principle that directs and rectifies all spiritual operations here reaches down to the body’s most ordinary acts (eating, drinking), transforming them into co-redemptive participation through explicit intention. 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Matthew 25:40 are the governing anchors.
REC-1 — Individuated Comprehensive Recapitulation — liturgical implementation: The five Glory Be’s offered for bodily suffering (arms, legs, heart) and three Glory Be’s for the three powers’ disfigurement is REC-1’s (opened August 2, 1902) body-parts recapitulation in a specifically instructed liturgical form: each member and each faculty is matched to the category of offense it addresses. The continuous reparatory prayer formula is REC-1 structured as ongoing practice rather than single visionary act. Hebrews 10:12–14 is the governing theological anchor for the continuous-satisfaction principle.
Forward bridge — image-disfigurement and restoration teaching: The explicit teaching that the three powers (intellect, memory, will) are “so disfigured that I can no longer recognize my image in them” and the prescription for their restoration is the entry’s most doctrinally distinctive contribution. Genesis 1:26–27 and 2:7 ground the original image; 2 Corinthians 3:18 and Colossians 3:10 trace the restoration arc. Not opened as a new tracking item — one entry — but flagged as a significant forward bridge. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: IDR-1, Image Disfigurement and Restoration) if a second instance appears with comparable doctrinal specificity.
05-1903-06-15
TGF-1 — Three Great Fiats (Creative, Redemptive, Sanctifying Works) — new tracking item: The teaching that the soul preserves the three divine Works within herself through (1) glorifying use of the senses, (2) adding suffering, satisfying, and repairing for others, and (3) perfecting the first two so that the Sanctifying Work rises — opens as a new tracking item. First instance: June 15, 1903. Hogan explicitly names these as “the three great fiats, creation, redemption and sanctification” and signals heavy recurrence: “you’re going to hear more and more of as we go deeper into the divine will.” The entry also introduces the “transfused participation in my very operating” as the doctrinal basis for the three-works preservation: the operative priority is divine (already transfused); the soul’s correspondence activates what is already present. 2 Peter 1:4, Colossians 1:24, and John 17:17–19 are the governing anchors. Connected to the two-world cosmological flash of February 9, 1903 (which named Creation and Redemption as two worlds) — June 15 adds Sanctification as the third and frames all three as the soul’s preservative vocation. TGF-1 active from Volume 5 onward.
IDR-1 — Image Disfigurement and Restoration — confirmed as recurring pattern: The June 15 teaching (“one who makes use of her senses to offend Me deforms my image within herself”) is the second significant instance of the image-disfigurement doctrine, following June 6’s teaching on the three powers being “so disfigured that I can no longer recognize my image in them.” With two closely spaced instances carrying doctrinal content (and Hogan explicitly naming Genesis 1:27 / 2:7 for both), the forward bridge flagged at June 6 is now confirmed. Opening IDR-1 (Image Disfigurement and Restoration) as an active tracking item. First instance: June 6, 1903 (three powers disfigured by sin). Second instance: June 15, 1903 (senses misused deforming the image; senses directed to glory preserving it). Governing scriptural anchors: Genesis 1:26–27, Romans 6:13, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Colossians 3:10. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
05-1903-06-16
UPI-1 — Upright Intention as Master-Principle — Christological ground disclosed: John 8:29 (“I always do the things that are pleasing to him”), cited by Hogan, establishes the Christological root of UPI-1 for the first time: the soul pleasing God alone is participating in the form of Christ’s own permanent Sonship-disposition toward the Father. This is the most theologically grounding development of UPI-1 to date.
Forward bridge — immutability-sharing through perseverance: “Her perseverance in this way of behaving renders her immutable with the immutable God” — a distinct doctrinal claim not yet appearing elsewhere: the soul’s consistent single-motive orientation toward God alone causes her to participate in the divine attribute of changelessness. Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8, and James 1:17 are the governing anchors. Not opened as a new tracking item — one entry — but flagged as a significant forward bridge. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: IMP-1, Immutability Participation) if a second instance appears.
DW-SEED-1 — luminous identification — most theologically complete solar statement: The Divine Sun teaching (Sun gives light to all; only those with open eyes receive its benefits; the soul pleasing God alone enjoys the Sun’s fullness) is the most theologically complete integration of DW-SEED-1’s luminous identification with the operative requirements for receiving it. John 1:9, 8:12, 14:6, 1 John 1:5, and Malachi 4:2 are the governing anchors. DW-
05-1903-06-30
DW-MARY-1 — most active and participatory form in the corpus: Mary here functions not only as the creaturely model of divine-will living but as active mediator: she opens her heart-tabernacle to give Jesus, walks with Luisa on the Via Crucis, counsels the interior gaze as the all-sufficient weapon, and leads toward the co-crucifixion summit. John 19:25–27 (the cross-authorization for Mary’s maternal giving), Luke 1:43 (the Visitation as structural archetype), and Isaiah 7:14 (the heart-tabernacle as ongoing Bethlehem) are the governing anchors. DW-MARY-1 active; significantly updated.
CDR-1 — Co-crucifixion — most complete narrative form: The Via Crucis with Mary culminates in the promise “you will remain crucified together with Him” at Calvary’s summit — the co-crucifixion framed not as a past event or present state but as a destination being approached, with Mary as guide. Galatians 2:20 and Philippians 3:10 are the governing anchors.
Forward bridge — interior gaze as comprehensive sufficiency: “By looking at Him you will comprehend everything, you will do everything, and you will satisfy for all” — a doctrinal claim for the single contemplative act’s comprehensive sufficiency across all three spiritual operations (understanding, action, reparatory satisfaction). Hebrews 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 10:5 are the governing anchors. This connects forward to TGF-1’s three-Works preservation: the interior gaze may be the single act through which all three Works are simultaneously preserved. Not opened as a new tracking item — one entry — but flagged as architecturally significant. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: IGS-1, Interior Gaze Sufficiency) if a second instance appears.
Emmaus parallel — Stage One finding: Luke 24:30–31’s Emmaus pattern (companions walking together → Eucharistic moment → exterior disappearance) is the structural inverse of the June 30 Eucharistic convergence (Baby carried to altar → Holy Communion received → Baby disappears from arms). The exterior presence yields to interior indwelling at the sacramental threshold in both cases, but the relationship between recognition and disappearance is inverted. Hogan did not identify this parallel.
05-1903-07-03
CPX-1 — Continuous Purgation and Exchange Doctrine — new tracking item: The doctrine that Christ as master of the whole person (mind, arms, heart, feet) produces a continuous attitude of purgation — the involuntary intrusion immediately expelled — and that the total self-gift in life is exchanged for the beatific vision without delay at death, with exemption from purgatory. First instance: July 3, 1903. The three-part structure is mastery → continuous purgation → exchange at death. Governing scriptural anchors: Galatians 2:20 (mastery / indwelling), Romans 6:12–14 (sin cannot reign), 1 John 3:9 (God’s seed abiding / continuous purgation), 1 Corinthians 3:12–15 (nothing combustible left), John 17:24 (beatific vision as Christ’s willed desire for those given to him). Hogan names the patristic-liturgical framework explicitly: the admirabile commercium (marvellous exchange) — the Incarnation-exchange applied to the death-threshold. Hogan signals significance: “completely extraordinary” gift for the soul living in the divine will. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
Soft citation — Matthew 5:48: Hogan cites “the last paragraph of Matthew 5” for “you must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect” with explicitly self-acknowledged uncertainty about the verse number (“I think it’s something like 34 to 39, or 54 to 59, I don’t know which it is”). The correct verse is Matthew 5:48. Not assigned a correction number since Hogan flags her own uncertainty; classified as a soft citation per project convention.
05-1903-08-03
NSP-1 — Nothingness as Structural Protection — August 3 structural parallel confirmed: Volume 3’s August 3 (NSP-1 architectural capstone: “God operates where there is nothing, and It never mixes Its works with material works”) and Volume 5’s August 3 (the soul strips herself of natural things → acquires supernatural) are the divine and creaturely faces of the same doctrine. Volume 3 stated the principle from the divine side; Volume 5 states it from the creaturely side. Philippians 3:7–8 is the governing Pauline form for the creaturely vocation. NSP-1 active; structural parallel noted.
05-1903-10-02
UPI-1 — Upright Intention as Master-Principle — negative form disclosed: The exterior soul’s failure is named precisely as the lack of “the aim for God alone and His love alone” — UPI-1’s (opened May 11, 1903) upright intention stated from its negative pole. The entry does not theorize the intention as a master-principle but shows what the soul looks like when it is absent: virtues structurally detachable, falling at the first breath of pride or complacency because the interior root is not engaged. This is UPI-1’s most diagnostically complete negative form in the corpus to date. 1 Corinthians 13:1–3 (virtues without love are nothing) is the governing scriptural anchor for the connection between the missing intention and the detached virtues.
Forward bridge — graft theology (Incarnation as Ur-Graft): The teaching that “My Incarnation grafted humanity to the Divinity” — and that the soul’s continued union in will, works, and heart develops the graft and “adds more branches to the Tree of my Humanity” — is a new doctrinal framing not previously appearing in this specific form. The Incarnation is named as the original act of grafting from which all individual soul-union derives; the soul’s growth in Christ’s life has a corporate ecclesiological consequence (branches added to the Tree of his Humanity). Romans 11:17–24 (the explicit Pauline graft precedent) and Ephesians 4:15–16 (the corporate body-growth mechanism) are the governing anchors. One entry; not yet opened as a tracking item. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: IGT-1, Incarnation as Ur-Graft / Tree-of-Humanity theology) if the graft framing recurs with comparable doctrinal specificity.
05-1903-10-03
ECL-1 — Eucharistic Continuous Labor — most significant Volume 5 development: The continuation of Christ’s life is here formally extended from the Eucharist (ECL-1’s March 12, 1903 opening form) to all souls in His grace. Christ continues “reparation in one soul, praise in another, thanksgiving in another; in some others my zeal for the salvation of souls, in another my sufferings” — the distributional mechanism is the precise form of the extension beyond the Eucharistic locus. 1 Corinthians 12:12–27 (body of Christ with many members) and Colossians 1:24 (filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions) are the governing anchors. The Eucharist remains primary but the continuation is now disclosed as encompassing the whole Mystical Body. Hogan explicit VIP. ECL-1 active; significantly updated.
WOC-1 — Whole of Christ Born Within — distributional form: WOC-1’s Passion-reproduction in the victim soul (January 7, 1903 — most precise form) is here expanded to encompass all aspects of Christ’s operations across all souls in grace, not only suffering and the Passion. The victim soul’s role is now situated within the broader distributional theology: the soul assigned Christ’s sufferings is one member of the distributional body; the victim-soul vocation is the most concentrated form of a principle that applies to every soul in grace. WOC-1 active; distributional context noted.
Hogan VIP: “I have a VIP on this one.” Designated content: “Jesus continues his life in the world, not only in the Most Blessed Sacrament, but also in the souls who are in his grace.” The VIP covers the entry’s full doctrinal claim including the distributional mechanism.
05-1903-10-07
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — “Justice wants it” most theologically concentrated form: “Justice wants it, Love does not” is the most theologically precise statement in Volume 5 of Justice’s specific demand for the victim soul’s continued engagement. Previous VSC-1 instances named the restraining function and the void-filling mechanism; this entry names the attribute of God that requires the victim: Justice itself, in tension with Love. Romans 3:25–26 (propitiation satisfying Justice so Love can justify) and Psalm 85:10 (righteousness and peace meeting at a mediation point) are the governing scriptural anchors.
JSE-1 — Justice Satisfaction Exclusivity — direct confirmation: “Justice wants it” confirms that Justice has specific requirements in this specific situation that only the victim soul’s continued presence satisfies. The most direct single-clause confirmation of JSE-1 in the corpus to date.
IMP-1 — Immutability Participation — second instance; tracking item now opened: The October 7 teaching that victim souls “have got to have this immutability that the angels have” is the second instance of the immutability-sharing theme in Volume 5. The first instance (June 16, 1903 — forward bridge: “her perseverance in this way of behaving renders her immutable with the immutable God”) named the divine-participation form of immutability; October 7 names the angelic-office form. Both concern the soul’s participation in a changelessness that transcends human psychological variability. Opening IMP-1 (Immutability Participation) as an active tracking item. First instance: June 16, 1903 (perseverance in single-motive orientation renders the soul immutable with the immutable God). Second instance: October 7, 1903 (victim soul required to have the immutability of angels — the angelic form of stable office). Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8, and James 1:17 are the divine-immutability anchors; Hebrews 1:14 and Ezekiel 1:12 are the angelic-stability anchors. Monitor across all remaining volumes.
Forward bridge — “human angels” designation: The designation of victim souls as “human angels” — not an analogy but presented as a doctrinal identity-claim about the nature of the victim-soul office in relation to the divine economy — is new as a formal title in Volume 5. One instance; not yet opened as a tracking item. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: VHA-1, Victim Soul as Human Angel) if the designation recurs or is developed.

CCB-1 — Crown-Bearer — most theologically elaborate Volume 5 treatment: The entry discloses the crown of thorns not as a devotional focus but as a soteriological and epistemological doctrine: the head’s special suffering targeted specifically the intellect (the faculty the head governs), purchasing its reclamation for “new heavens of graces and new worlds of truths” and binding each blood-rivulet to the knowledge of Christ’s sovereignty. This is CCB-1’s most developed single treatment since January 31, 1903 (crown as intellectual-redemption act). Colossians 1:18 (head’s preeminence as the Pauline ground for the head’s distinct portion of suffering) and Romans 1:20–21 / 2 Corinthians 10:5 (intellect reclaimed from futile thinking for the knowledge of sovereignty) are the governing anchors. CCB-1 active; significantly updated.

DW-SEED-1 — luminous identification — Volume 5 reconfirmation: Hogan explicitly restates the luminous identification in her commentary: “from here on in, it’ll simply be called the light of the divine will.” This reconfirms in Volume 5 the identification she announced at November 11, 1902. The entry itself is the most concentrated single Volume 5 disclosure of that identification: the divine will is declared to be light (1 John 1:5 as the governing anchor), and nourishing oneself with the divine will is living on the same light that God is. DW-SEED-1 active; Volume 5 reconfirmation noted.
NSP-1 — Nothingness as Structural Protection — sea-dissolution form: “One who is in my presence is like a little drop; whether it is black or white, it dissolves in my sea” confirms the drop-in-the-sea pattern from March 24, 1903 (NSP-1’s most positive form: “while in the sea, the drop seems to be the whole sea”). October 16 provides the purging complement: the dissolution is not merely absorption but transformation — the black dissolved is turned to white by the sea’s nature. The sea-dissolution image is now complete: the drop dissolves (absorption), cannot be recognized (NSP-1’s structural protection), and is turned white (purging-as-transformation). NSP-1 active; sea-dissolution form updated.
Forward bridge — food-of-light doctrine (John 4:34 convergence): The claim “the only food which is nourishing and gives true life is my Will” placed alongside John 4:34 (“my food is to do the will of him who sent me”) establishes the soul’s nourishment through doing the divine will as direct participation in Christ’s own food. This is the most theologically precise convergence of the food-doctrine and the divine-will theology in Volume 5 to date, and almost certainly a major theme in higher volumes. Not opened as a new tracking item — the food-doctrine connects to existing items (RP-8, DW-SEED-3, DW-SEED-1) — but flagged as an architecturally significant convergence point for monitoring.

SDW-1 — Sin Defined as Will-Departure — universal form: SDW-1 was opened April 7, 1903 for Luisa’s formation-altitude: going out of the divine will = rendering oneself a sinner at that level. October 18 supplies SDW-1’s universal form — a one-clause doctrinal definition applying at every altitude: “an act of the human will opposite to the Divine” is what forms sin. SDW-1’s scope is now disclosed as universal, not formation-specific: the definition holds for all souls, with the stakes varying by altitude. 1 John 3:4 (sin is lawlessness — will acting against its proper ordering) and Luke 22:42 (Gethsemane as the Christological inverse — not my will but yours — establishing the positive standard against which will-opposition is measured) are the governing anchors.
Forward bridge — true love defined as living in the other’s will: “True love is to live in the will of the other, even at the cost of sacrifice” is the entry’s most architecturally significant compact definition, and almost certainly a recurring formulation in higher volumes. One entry; not yet a tracking item. Open as a named tracking item (candidate: TLW-1, True Love as Will-Union) if the definition recurs or is developed.

OBL-1 — Obedience-link theology — constitutive-principle summit statement: “Only the frieze of obedience is what constitutes the victim, and I would never accept her as such without this frieze” is OBL-1’s deepest single disclosure in the corpus to this point. Previous OBL-1 developments established the obedience-chain as structural mediator, identified its boldest operational form (February 1, 1903: “forced by the priestly authority”), and named its purpose (December 15, 1902: “I will obey in you”). October 24 discloses the foundational mechanism: obedience is not the support structure of the victim vocation but its constitutive interior form — the frieze without which the suffering is not accepted as victim-offering at all. The Christological parallel is explicit: “what constituted Me as victim was the obedience to my dear Father.” Philippians 2:8, Hebrews 10:5–10, and Romans 5:19 are the Pauline/Hebraic anchors; John 14:31 (Hogan) and Matthew 16:19 govern the Johannine and binding-loosing dimensions. OBL-1 active; constitutive-principle summit noted.
VSC-1 — Victim Soul Causality — ecclesiological form: “If I suspend you forever, the enemies will begin to make my Church shed blood” is VSC-1 stated with maximum ecclesiological directness: the victim soul’s maintained obedience-bound position is structurally constitutive of the Church’s survival in the historical moment, not merely beneficial to it. The vision makes this doctrinal claim experiential: when Luisa steps down, the Church enters her death rattle. Ezekiel 22:30 and Isaiah 59:16 are the governing OT anchors; Hebrews 7:25 provides the Christological ground. VSC-1 active; ecclesiological form noted.
TRS-1 — Confessor’s Required Attendance — obedience-bond mechanism confirmed: The confessor holding Luisa in his arms as the structural mediator of her victim state, and his single release-word immediately dissolving the victim-bond, is TRS-1’s most precise mechanistic disclosure: the confessor’s directional authority operates in the binding-loosing economy (Matthew 16:19), not merely in the pastoral-support register. The binding-loosing mechanism governing the obedience-direction is confirmed as operating at the same structural level as the keys of the kingdom. TRS-1 active; mechanism confirmed.

DW-SEED-3 — Acting in the divine will — most concentrated doctrinal statement in the corpus: “The living in my Will is the whole point of Sanctity” is DW-SEED-3’s most precise single formulation across all five volumes. The single-motive action toward God (first identified in Volume 1, Entry 000; reaching its hierarchical form as UPI-1 in May 1903) is here given its comprehensive doctrinal status: not a path to sanctity, not an advanced stage of sanctity, but “the whole point” — the totality of what sanctity is and tends toward. The contrast with the alternating soul (Revelation 3:15–16 as governing form) provides the full relief. DW-SEED-3 active; doctrinal summit noted.
IMP-1 — Immutability Participation — confirmed-in-grace theological identification: Hogan’s gloss is the most significant IMP-1 development since October 7: “Confirmed in grace is that you are immutable like God. You are stable. You are not going to change.” The confirmed-in-grace state (the traditional theological category applied to angels and certain saints) is here explicitly equated with the immutability IMP-1 tracks. IMP-1 now has three forms in Volume 5: divine-participation form (June 16: perseverance in single-motive orientation renders the soul immutable with the immutable God), angelic-office form (October 7: victim souls required to have the immutability of angels), and confirmed-in-grace form (October 25: the fruit of continuous divine-will living). The alternating soul never attains this confirmed state. IMP-1 active; confirmed-in-grace form noted.
Forward bridge — divine will binding-freedom mechanics: The disclosure that Christ draws near and binds when Luisa thinks of remaining, and moves away and leaves her free when she thinks of departing, is the most interior description of how the divine will state operates that the corpus has produced to this point. John 6:44 (Father drawing as condition of approach) and John 15:4–5 (vine-branch contact as the structural form of the binding) are the governing anchors. Not opened as a tracking item — one entry — but flagged as architecturally significant. Open as a named tracking item if this mechanics-disclosure recurs with comparable specificity.

WOC-1 — Whole of Christ Born Within — motivational-unity form: “The fire of love will destroy any disparity and inequality, and will form one single thing between my work and that of the creature” discloses WOC-1 from the motive’s angle. January 7, 1903 was the structural form (Christ reproduced in living flesh); October 27 is the operative-mechanism form: when the creature’s motive is love alone — the divine nature’s own motive — the disparity between divine and creaturely operation is consumed and the works become one. The two disclosures are complementary faces of the same reality. Song of Songs 8:6–7 (love as the very flame of the Lord), John 17:21–23 (perfectly one), and 1 Corinthians 6:17 (one spirit with the Lord) are the governing anchors. WOC-1 active; motivational-unity form noted.
LAN-1 — Love as God’s Very Nature — confirmed as the divine way of operating: The entry’s identification of love as the sole divine way of operating — “only love for the Father and for men” — confirms LAN-1 (opened June 15, 1902; updated March 23, 1903: “His very attributes receive life from love”). Here the operative principle of every divine action is named as love, establishing that the divine way of operating is the expression of what God is. 1 John 4:8/4:16 and Song of Songs 8:6–7 are the governing anchors.
UPI-1 — Upright Intention as Master-Principle — applied to suffering: The entry applies UPI-1’s governing principle (the upright intention of pleasing God alone as the master-principle above virtues and obedience, opened May 11, 1903) to the specific domain of mortification and suffering. “Love alone” as the required motive is UPI-1 in the context of sacrificial action: no other motive — including legitimate penitential motives — can substitute for the love that constitutes the divine way. UPI-1 active; suffering-and-mortification application noted.

WOC-1 — Whole of Christ Born Within — re-Incarnation form, most intimate statement in the corpus: Jesus appearing “as if he had incarnated himself in my very person” is WOC-1 at its most extreme: not Christ acting through the creature (January 7, 1903) or suffering reproduced in living flesh, but the Incarnation’s pattern itself reproduced in the creature who has fulfilled the purpose of creation. Galatians 2:20 and Colossians 1:27 are the Pauline anchors; John 17:23 the Trinitarian form. Hogan reads this through ECL-1 (Christ continuing his life in us); Stage One reads it through WOC-1 and CPD-1. The three angles are complementary. WOC-1 active; re-Incarnation form noted as the highest single statement in the corpus to this point.
COR-1 — Circle of Origin and Return — purpose-of-creation form: “The character of the purpose of Creation impressed in the soul… to know Me, to love Me, to serve Me” is COR-1’s exitus-reditus stated in the catechetical formula: the creature who came forth from God for the purpose of knowing, loving, and serving him has returned to that purpose — the circuit is complete in her. John 17:3 (eternal life as the knowledge of God) is the governing anchor. The five-fold advance of celestial happiness is the divine’s response to seeing the circuit completed. COR-1 active; purpose-of-creation form noted.
TRS-1 — Confessor’s Required Attendance — Emmaus-structured discernment: The confessor reports that he feels “a movement in his interior which only the Divine Spirit possesses” when receiving Luisa’s report of the divine speech. Luke 24:32 (burning hearts at Emmaus), 1 Corinthians 2:10–12, and Romans 8:16 are the governing anchors. The directorial relationship is disclosed as theologically formative for the confessor himself: he is not only a structural mediator but a recipient of the Spirit’s movement through the transmission. TRS-1 active; Emmaus-structured discernment form noted.

TWD-1 — Thread of Will Doctrine — new tracking item: “I always leave a thread of will to the soul, so that she too may be able to say: ‘I do everything of my own will.’ So, by being restless, you break this thread of union with Me, and you bind my arms, in such a way that I am unable to operate in you.” First instance: October 30, 1903. The doctrine answers the most fundamental question about divine-human cooperation: God does everything in the soul, yet the soul’s thread of creaturely willing is both minimal and irreplaceable — without it, God “binds his arms.” Breaking the thread through restlessness or doubt suspends the collaborative operation; the divine waits until the soul returns to peace to take up the thread again. Philippians 2:12–13 (God works in you to will and to work; work out your salvation), 1 Corinthians 15:10 (I worked, though it was not I but grace), and Revelation 3:20 (the divine waiting posture) are the governing anchors. Connects to October 25’s drawing-near / moving-away mechanics: the thread is the creaturely form of abiding; breaking it is the form of moving away. Almost certainly a major recurrent theme in Volumes 6–36. Monitor closely from the first entry of Volume 6.
Hogan Volume 5 closing synthesis statement: “The Lord giving us a warning that not to let a disturbance inside of us and not to let go of that peace that passes all understanding. And if we stay in that peace then he will be able to continue his work and he will complete it if we allow him.” Follows the established pattern of Hogan’s end-of-volume synthesis statements. The “if we allow him” is TWD-1 stated as the volume’s final pastoral imperative.
