04-1900-11-11 Biblical Resonance Analysis
Volume 4 — November 11, 1900 “By going out of the Divine Will, one loses the knowledge of God and of self.”
Stage One — Independent Biblical Identification
The Divine Will as Light: Knowledge Through Presence
“Do not go out of my Will, because by going out of my Will, you come to lose the knowledge of Me, and not knowing Me, you come to lose the knowledge of yourself. In fact, only in the reflections of the light can one distinguish with clarity whether there is gold or mud.”
Hosea 4:6 — “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children.” Hogan cites this. The destruction from lack of knowledge of God is the Hosea form of the doctrinal warning: departure from the divine will produces loss of knowledge, and loss of knowledge produces the perishing that Hosea describes. Direct doctrinal parallel
Psalm 36:9 — “For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.” Hogan cites “Psalm 36 verse 9.” The divine light as the condition of all seeing — “in your light we see light” — is the Psalm form of the teaching: only in the divine will/light can gold be distinguished from mud, self from the divine, truth from confusion. Direct doctrinal parallel
1 John 1:5 — “This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” Hogan cites this. The divine will identified with light — “the light is my Will” — is the Johannine form: the divine will is not merely illuminated by the light but is the light itself, because God is light and the divine will is the operative form of the divine being. Direct doctrinal parallel
2 Corinthians 4:6 — “seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The light that gives knowledge — specifically the knowledge of God’s glory — is the Pauline form of the divine-will-as-light teaching: the light in the heart enables the knowledge that departure from the divine will removes. Direct doctrinal parallel
John 8:12 — “Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” Following Christ/the divine will = walking in the light = having the light of life. Departing from the divine will = walking in darkness = losing the light and therefore the knowledge it enables. Direct doctrinal parallel
Self-Knowledge Requiring Divine Light
“In the reflections of this light you come to know who you are; and in seeing your weakness, your pure nothingness, you cling to my arms and, united with my Will, you live with Me in Heaven.”
1 Corinthians 13:12 — “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.” The partial knowing that the present life affords — knowledge in the reflections of the divine light — is the Pauline form of the November 11 teaching: the soul knows herself through the divine light’s reflections, not directly. Outside the divine will, the mirror is dark and the self-knowledge collapses. Affective/meditative
Romans 3:20 — “Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.” The law (the divine will in its revealed form) as the instrument of self-knowledge — specifically the knowledge of weakness and nothingness — is the Pauline form of “in the reflections of this light you come to know who you are.” The light reveals the mud so that the soul can cling to the arms of the one who possesses all goods. Direct doctrinal parallel
NSP-1: The self-knowledge produced by the divine light — “seeing your weakness, your pure nothingness” — leads to the NSP-1 posture: “you cling to my arms and, united with my Will, you live with Me in Heaven.” The nothingness-knowledge is the structural protection because it produces the clinging that maintains the union. Direct doctrinal parallel
Living in Heaven While on Earth: The Divine-Will State
“United with my Will, you live with Me in Heaven. But if you want to go out of my Will, first you would come to lose true humility, and then you would come to live on the earth.”
Psalm 63:8 — “My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.” Hogan cites “Psalm 63 verse 8.” The clinging to the divine right hand — the soul held within the divine will — is the Psalm form of “united with my Will, you live with Me in Heaven.” Affective/meditative
Colossians 3:1–3 (translation pending) — “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above… For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” The life hidden with Christ in God — the heaven-while-on-earth state — is the Pauline form of “united with my Will, you live with Me in Heaven.” Direct doctrinal parallel
RP-5 (Heaven on Earth): The November 11 teaching is RP-5 in its most precisely specified Volume 4 form: the soul living in the divine will is living in heaven while on earth. The specific mechanism is named: the divine will/light → self-knowledge → nothingness → clinging → heaven-on-earth. Direct doctrinal parallel

DW-SEED-1 development: Hogan provides the most explicit Volume 4 statement of the divine will as light: “from here on in the divine will will simply be called the light, because God is light and the divine will is the essence of God.” This is a significant architectural note: the November 11 entry marks the point at which the divine will is formally identified with light in the corpus’s theological development. DW-SEED-1 (divine will as immanent life-principle) is given its luminous form here.
VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS
Hogan does not formally designate this entry as VIP.
STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS
The combined findings establish November 11 as the volume’s most explicit single statement of the divine-will-as-light theology and its knowledge-consequences. The doctrinal sequence — divine will/light → knowledge of God → knowledge of self → nothingness → clinging → heaven-on-earth — is the complete epistemological-spiritual chain that the November 11 entry discloses. DW-SEED-1 is given its luminous identification; NSP-1 and RP-5 both receive their most precisely specified Volume 4 connections. The Hosea 4:6 citation (confirmed by both) is the doctrinal linchpin: departure from the divine will produces the “lack of knowledge” that produces perishing.
Cross-Entry Synthesis
Volume 4 — November 11, 1900 “By going out of the Divine Will, one loses the knowledge of God and of self.”
The Divine Will as Light: The Epistemological Architecture
Both Hogan and Stage One identify Hosea 4:6 (destruction from lack of knowledge), Psalm 36:9 (in your light we see light), 1 John 1:5 (God is light), and Psalm 63:8 (clinging to the divine right hand). Hogan provides the architecturally significant identification: “from here on in the divine will will simply be called the light — God is light and the divine will is the essence of God.” This marks November 11 as the point in the corpus where the divine will and light are formally identified, giving DW-SEED-1 its luminous form.
Stage One’s 2 Corinthians 4:6 (the light shining in the heart to give the knowledge of God’s glory) and John 8:12 (following = light of life, departing = darkness) extend the light-as-knowledge frame. Together the complete doctrinal sequence is: the divine will is light; the light gives knowledge of God; in the reflections of that light the soul gains self-knowledge; the self-knowledge produces the nothingness-recognition that is NSP-1’s operative condition; the nothingness clings to the divine arms; the clinging produces the heaven-on-earth state (RP-5). This five-step chain is the November 11 entry’s complete epistemological-spiritual architecture, and it is the most systematic single articulation of the divine-will-living’s inner mechanics in Volume 4.
The synthesis: The November 11 entry is a significant doctrinal milestone: it names the divine-will-as-light identification explicitly (confirmed as an architectural forward-marker by Hogan), discloses the epistemological chain (light → God-knowledge → self-knowledge → nothingness → clinging → heaven-on-earth), and gives NSP-1 and RP-5 their most precisely mechanically connected Volume 4 form.

04-1900-11-11
DW-SEED-1 — luminous identification formally marked: Hogan explicitly marks the November 11 entry as the point at which the divine will is formally identified as light in the corpus: “from here on in the divine will will simply be called the light, because God is light and the divine will is the essence of God.” This is DW-SEED-1’s luminous form. The doctrinal sequence disclosed — divine will/light → knowledge of God → self-knowledge → nothingness → clinging → heaven-on-earth — is the most systematically mechanically complete Volume 4 formulation connecting NSP-1 (nothingness as structural protection) and RP-5 (heaven on earth) through the epistemological chain of the divine-will-as-light.
