01-58 Biblical Resonance Analysis

STAGE ONE — INDEPENDENT BIBLICAL IDENTIFICATION

This entry records two prophetic visions related to the second Italy-Africa war: the first (given nine months in advance) showing roads of blood and announcing divine justice over flesh; the second showing the Roman deputies in prideful council and receiving the divine threat “Italy will lose.” Three conceptual movements are identifiable.

The First Vision: Roads of Blood and Divine Vengeance

He showed me a very long road, filled with human flesh immersed in blood, which inundated that road like rivers… “Next year there will be a war. They use the flesh to offend Me, and I want to make my just vengeances over their own flesh.”

Revelation 14:20 — “The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.” The road “filled with human flesh immersed in blood, which inundated that road like rivers” corresponds to the Revelation image of the divine winepress and its flood of blood. Typological.

Ezekiel 35:6 — “therefore, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood will pursue you. Since you have not hated blood, therefore blood will pursue you.” “They use the flesh to offend Me, and I want to make my just vengeances over their own flesh” — the divine justice over flesh corresponds to the Ezekiel principle: the blood used in offense is returned in judgment. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Amos 3:7 — “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.” The advance prophetic disclosure — nine months before the war — corresponds to the Amos principle: the divine announces to the prophets before acting. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Deuteronomy 28:25 — “The LORD will cause you to be struck before your enemies. You will go out one way against them, and will flee seven ways before them. You will be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.” The divine threat of defeat over the prideful army corresponds to the Deuteronomic curse for those who forsake God and trust in themselves. Typological.

The Second Vision: The Deputies in Rome, Souls Sold to the Devil

I seemed to find myself in Rome, and I could see the deputies in council among themselves on how they should carry on the war… They were so swollen with themselves as to arouse pity. Almost all of these people were sectarians – souls sold to the devil… It really seemed that the satanic reign was reigning, and instead of placing their trust in God, they were placing it in the devil.

Luke 18:11–12 — “The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: … I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’” “They were so swollen with themselves as to arouse pity” — the self-inflated pride of the deputies corresponds to the Pharisee’s self-sufficiency: both trust in their own resources and capacities rather than in God. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Revelation 12:9 — “The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.” “Souls sold to the devil… the satanic reign was reigning” — the entry’s identification of the sectarian political elite as under diabolic influence corresponds to the Revelation vision of the devil’s active deception of the nations. Typological.

Psalm 2:1–4 — “Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his Anointed, saying, “Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.” “I could see the deputies in council among themselves… boasting of being sure about the victory” — the plotting rulers who counsel against the divine order corresponds precisely to the Psalm: the divine response to their boasting is derision. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Jeremiah 17:5 — “The LORD says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, relies on strength of flesh, and whose heart departs from the LORD.” “Instead of placing their trust in God, they were placing it in the devil” — the trust in flesh rather than God corresponds to the Jeremiah curse. Direct doctrinal parallel.

The Divine Threat: Pride Humiliated, Italy Will Lose

Jesus turned to them and, threatening them, said: “You rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you. This time Italy will lose.”

Proverbs 3:5–7 — “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” “You rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you” — the divine threat of humiliation for self-reliance corresponds to the Proverbs wisdom principle. Hogan cites this. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Proverbs 16:18 — “Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.” “They were so swollen with themselves as to arouse pity” — the pride preceding the fall corresponds to the Proverbs maxim. Direct doctrinal parallel.

1 Samuel 2:3–4 — ““Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed. “The bows of the mighty men are broken. Those who stumbled are armed with strength.” “You rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you” — the divine weighing of the proud corresponds to Hannah’s canticle: the boasters are humiliated; the mighty are broken. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Luke 14:11 — “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”” “You rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you” — the humiliation of the self-exalted corresponds to the Gospel principle. Direct doctrinal parallel.

Isaiah 2:11–12 — “The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. For there will be a day of the LORD of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low—” The divine threat of humiliation for the prideful nation corresponds to Isaiah’s day-of-the-Lord oracle against pride. Direct doctrinal parallel.

STAGE TWO — COMPARISON WITH HOGAN’S COMMENTARY

CORRESPONDENCES

Proverbs 3:5 / Trust in the Lord; do not lean on your own understanding: Hogan cites “Proverbs 3 verses 3 to 5” for “you rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you.” Stage One independently identified Prov 3:5–7 for the same movement. Direct correspondence.

Amos 3:7 / The Lord reveals to the prophets before acting: Hogan introduced Amos 3:8 in Entry 057 as the bridge to this prophetic vision. Stage One independently identified Amos 3:7 as the principle operative throughout. Continuing correspondence.

DEVIATIONS

No deviations.

ADDITIONS — MINE

Stage One identified the following not addressed by Hogan:

  • Revelation 14:20 (blood from the winepress flooding the roads) for the first vision
  • Ezekiel 35:6 (blood shall pursue you; divine justice over flesh) for the same
  • Deuteronomy 28:25 (the Lord will cause you to be defeated) for the divine threat
  • Luke 18:11–12 (the self-inflated Pharisee) for the swollen deputies
  • Revelation 12:9 (the devil deceiving the nations) for “souls sold to the devil”
  • Psalm 2:1–4 (the rulers plotting in vain; the Lord holds them in derision) for the council scene
  • Jeremiah 17:5 (cursed is the man who trusts in man) for trusting in the devil rather than God
  • Proverbs 16:18 (pride before destruction) for the swollen pride
  • 1 Samuel 2:3–4 (the bows of the mighty are broken) for the divine humiliation
  • Luke 14:11 (everyone who exalts himself will be humbled) for the same
  • Isaiah 2:11–12 (the haughty shall be brought low; the Lord alone exalted) for the day-of-the-Lord application

ADDITIONS — HERS

The “satanic reign” as Pope Leo XIII’s vision (historical-ecclesial): Hogan’s identification — “that is the vision of Pope Leo XIII, where he heard a conversation between Satan and Jesus, and Satan asked for a hundred years in which to attack and destroy the church” — places Luisa’s observation about the satanic reign within the larger ecclesial prophetic tradition. The implicit scriptural background is the book of Job (Satan challenging the Lord, permitted to attack but expected to lose) and Rev 12:12 (“woe to the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath”).

The 20th century as the prophetically anticipated satanic century (prophetic): Hogan’s forward bridge — “through the communists and the freemasons and the illuminati and the marxist atheists, the reign of satan did take the 20th century” — is the most historically sweeping observation in the commentary. Luisa writing in 1899 is on the threshold of the century she is partially describing. The implicit scriptural background is Dan 7:25 (a time, times, and half a time) and Rev 13:5 (authority given for forty-two months).

VIP / SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS

Hogan applies no formal VIP designation. Her closing remark — “that completes volume one” — is the structural terminus of the Hogan commentary.

Note on the scope of Hogan’s commentary: Hogan explicitly confirms that Entries 059 through 065 are not covered in her Volume 1 commentary. Entry 058 is therefore the final Hogan-covered entry, and Entries 059–065 will be processed in Stage One only.

STAGE TWO SYNTHESIS

This entry achieves moderate convergence: Prov 3:5 and Amos 3:7 — two confirmed citations.

Stage One’s major additions supply the full prophetic-judgment and pride-humiliated tradition: Rev 14:20 and Ezek 35:6 for the first vision’s blood-imagery; Ps 2:1–4 (the plotting rulers held in divine derision) for the council scene; and Isa 2:11–12, 1 Sam 2:3–4, and Lk 14:11 for the humiliation-of-pride tradition.

Hogan’s major additions: the Pope Leo XIII prophetic context and the 20th century as the realized satanic century.

The dominant biblical imagination: Amos 3:7 (the Lord reveals to the prophets before acting) as the governing prophetic-disclosure principle; Psalm 2:1–4 (the rulers plotting in vain against the Lord) as the council-scene’s scriptural anchor; and Proverbs 3:5 / 16:18 / Isaiah 2:11–12 as the pride-before-destruction tradition.

Cross-Entry Synthesis

The First Vision: Roads of Blood and Divine Vengeance

“Next year there will be a war. They use the flesh to offend Me, and I want to make my just vengeances over their own flesh.”

Hogan does not cite Scripture for this movement but provides the Leo XIII prophetic context. Stage One establishes: Rev 14:20 (blood from the winepress), Ezek 35:6 (blood returning in divine justice), Amos 3:7 (the Lord reveals to the prophets before acting), and Deut 28:25 (defeat before enemies as the divine response to faithlessness).

Amos 3:7 is the governing principle for both prophetic visions in this entry: the divine announces to the prophets before acting. Entry 058 is the third prophetic authentication in Volume 1 (after Entries 031 and 051): the advance warning nine months before the war, then the vision of the council, then the divine threat — all confirmed by subsequent events. The prophetic pattern is the same as Entry 031’s Italy-Africa reconciliation: the Lord gives Luisa information that will be externally verifiable, establishing the divine origin of the communication for the confessor.

Ezek 35:6 establishes the theological logic of the divine vengeance: “because you did not hate bloodshed, therefore blood shall pursue you.” The divine justice is proportional and intrinsic — the offense determines the form of the consequence. “They use the flesh to offend Me, and I want to make my just vengeances over their own flesh” follows this Ezekiel logic precisely.

The Second Vision: The Deputies in Rome, Souls Sold to the Devil

I seemed to find myself in Rome, and I could see the deputies in council… Jesus was strolling through their midst, shedding tears over their miserable state.

Hogan provides the historical-ecclesial context: the satanic reign in the 20th century through communism, freemasonry, and related movements, corresponding to Pope Leo XIII’s vision. Stage One establishes Ps 2:1–4 (the rulers plotting in vain; the Lord holds them in derision), Rev 12:9 (the devil deceiving the nations), Jer 17:5 (cursed is the man who trusts in man), and Lk 18:11–12 (the self-inflated deputies).

Psalm 2:1–4 is the most theologically resonant addition. The Psalmist’s “why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves… against the Lord and against his Anointed” is Entry 058’s council scene in its scriptural form. The deputies “in council among themselves on how they should carry on the war” are the plotting rulers of Psalm 2; their boasting of certain victory corresponds to the Psalm’s “plotting in vain”; the divine threat of defeat corresponds to the Psalm’s divine derision — “He who sits in the heavens laughs.”

Christ strolling through the council while they deliberate — shedding tears — continues the Garden-walk typology (Gen 3:8) and the Paradise-strolling of Entry 040 in its most sorrowful form. The divine who walked with Adam in the Garden, who strolled with Luisa through the heavens, now walks through the council of those who have sold themselves to the devil, weeping. The juxtaposition is the entry’s most powerful visual theological argument.

HCR-4 connection: The Rome-destruction oracle (October 30, Volume 2 — “this prophecy has not yet been fulfilled”) has its antecedent in Entry 058’s vision of Rome’s corrupt political leadership. The sectarian deputies “souls sold to the devil” seen by Luisa in 1899 are the same Rome that Volume 2’s oracle addresses.

The Divine Threat: Pride Humiliated, Italy Will Lose

“You rely on yourselves, and therefore I will humiliate you. This time Italy will lose.”

Both streams converge on Prov 3:5–7 (trust in the Lord; do not lean on your own understanding). Stage One adds Prov 16:18, 1 Sam 2:3–4, Lk 14:11, and Isa 2:11–12.

The divine threat is the Proverbs principle as sovereign declaration: “you rely on yourselves” is the diagnosis; “I will humiliate you” is the Proverbs consequence. The defeated bows of the mighty (1 Sam 2:3–4), the haughty looks brought low (Isa 2:11–12), and the self-exalted humbled (Lk 14:11) together constitute the biblical tradition of divine response to pride — a tradition that runs from Hannah’s canticle through the Magnificat and into the apocalyptic literature.

The specific identification of Italy losing — not merely “war will come” but “Italy will lose this one” — is the prophetic specificity that distinguishes this vision from generic biblical warnings. The Amos principle (the Lord reveals to the prophets what he is about to do) is given its sharpest form: a named nation’s defeat.

RP-7 forward bridge: The Ezekiel 22:30 pattern (“I sought a man to stand in the breach, but found none”) finds its national application here: Luisa is the one who saw and prayed for “many souls going to hell” and interceded for “many victims.” The intercessor stands in the breach between the divine justice and the nation — not to prevent what is just, but to mitigate its human cost and preserve souls from its eternal consequence.

Synthesis Conclusion

Dominant biblical imagination: Amos 3:7 (the Lord reveals to the prophets before acting) as the governing prophetic-disclosure principle; Psalm 2:1–4 (the plotting rulers; the Lord holds them in derision) as the council scene’s anchor; Proverbs 3:5 / 16:18 (trust not in your own understanding; pride before destruction) for the divine threat; and Ezekiel 35:6 (divine justice over flesh) for the first vision.

Load-bearing correspondences:

  1. Psalm 2:1–4 / Jeremiah 17:5 — The plotting rulers and the curse of trusting in flesh. Stage One identifies both. Together they establish the council scene’s deepest scriptural resonance: the deputies who deliberate on how to win the war without reference to God are the Psalm 2 plotters and the Jeremiah 17 flesh-trusters simultaneously — rulers whom the Lord holds in derision and whose flesh-trust is the prophetically cursed posture.

  2. Proverbs 3:5 / 1 Samuel 2:3–4 / Isaiah 2:11–12 — The pride-humiliation tradition. Both streams converge on Prov 3:5. Stage One adds 1 Sam 2:3–4 and Isa 2:11–12. Together they establish that “I will humiliate you” is the consistent divine response to the proud who trust in themselves across the wisdom, prophetic, and prayer traditions. The specific defeat of Italy is the historical instantiation of this consistent principle.

  3. Amos 3:7 / Genesis 3:8 — The prophetic disclosure and the divine presence in the midst of blindness. Amos 3:7 governs the prophetic structure; Gen 3:8 governs the image of Christ strolling through the council weeping. Together they establish the entry’s governing paradox: the divine who reveals everything to his prophets walks in tears through the midst of those who see nothing.

No VIP designation was applied by Hogan. Her final remark — “that completes volume one” — is the commentary’s structural terminus.

Observation Note

(a) Entry 058 is the final Hogan-covered entry in Volume 1: Entries 059–065 have no Hogan commentary and will be processed in Stage One only.

(b) Fourth prophetic authentication established: The prophetic-confirmation pattern completes its Volume 1 arc: Entry 031 (Italy-Africa reconciliation), Entry 051 (revolver shooting location and recovery), Entry 058 (nine-month advance warning of the war; vision of Italy’s defeat). Each prophecy serves the confessor’s discernment and the reader’s recognition of the divine origin of the communication.

(c) HCR-4 (Rome oracle) has its Volume 1 antecedent confirmed: The corrupt deputies — “souls sold to the devil” — seen in Entry 058’s Rome are the antecedent of Volume 2’s October 30 Rome-destruction oracle. Entry 058 is an additional tracking reference for HCR-4.

(d) Volume 1’s prophetic arc completes: The volume began with the interior call and the victim-soul consecration; it ends with the prophetic vision of a nation’s fate. The arc is: personal formation → mystical marriage → cosmological reparation → national prophecy. The soul formed through the earlier entries now operates at the scale of nations.

Observation Notes

See this note in volume context →

01-58

On Psalm 2:1–4 as the council scene’s anchor: The plotting rulers held in divine derision is the most theologically resonant Stage One addition. Christ walking through their midst in tears while they boast of certain victory is the entry’s most powerful visual theological statement.

On the prophetic arc completing: The volume began with the interior call; it ends with national prophecy. Personal formation → mystical marriage → cosmological reparation → national prophecy. The soul formed through the earlier entries now operates at the scale of nations.

On HCR-4: The Rome oracle’s antecedent is now confirmed in Entry 058. The sectarian deputies of 1899 are the predecessors of the corruption Volume 2’s October 30 oracle addresses.

On the remaining entries (059–065): These seven entries have no Hogan commentary. The Stage Two section will note the absence and proceed directly to Stage Three. The BRA methodology handles this cleanly — as confirmed across the six no-Hogan-citation entries already processed.
